Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I would do terrible things to eat the Hot and Sour soup here, it is very good. I have had the Chicken and Vegetable dish several times--it's almost better to get the sauce on the side, because the chicken and veggies are cooked so fresh, they taste great all on their own. The Crab Rangoon is probably my boyfriend's favorite appetizer, and, unlike some other Chinese restaurants, Yummy Yummy STUFFS their rangoon with a ton of crab. Dumplings are also quite delicious. My mom, who is an anti-salt freak, really likes Yummy Yummy, too, and says that they really don't use a lot of salt in their dishes. Great lunch buffet ($5.99), and they have a daily special that changes every single day. Choice of an entree with side of pork fried rice or white rice, and you can also choose between egg rolls or a can of soda. All for $5(!!!). They will deliver, as well.

Surprisingly good food given the somewhat sketchy looking exterior. Bought a big batch of take out for a group and it was all very tasty. Good value for the money as well.

Your everyday run in the mill Chinese food. They use the same distribution point as Golden Wok off Richmond RD (Hooters shopping center). I agree that their crab Rangoon is just ok & it is far from the taste of crab Rangoon from Asia Cafe next to Kroger on Leestown.

I've got to go against the consensus here, this place was awful when I ate there last week. I've driven by this place a hundred times or more, and last week I was craving Chinese food, so I thought I'd try a new place. It's a little hole in the wall in a strip mall, there's a sketchy looking handmade sign advertising a $5.99 buffet. On its own, a $5.99 buffet is kinda questionable, and now I know why. I set food in there, I was the only guest in the place. I didn't know if they had just a buffet or if I could order anything else, apparently they just have the buffet for dine-in (or so the woman behind the counter implied in broken English). The buffet was tiny, maybe an eighth the size of the buffet at most other Chinese buffets. I don't remember exactly how many steam trays of different things there were, it was about 8 I think (and that was including the rice and noodles), and there was only a small amount of each food item. I could put a portion of each item on the buffet on one plate. Like some other bad Chinese places, they don't have a drink fountain, and I had to buy a bottled drink. A simple bottle of iced tea cost $2.00! They must be making money on the markup on drinks, and using that to cut the cost of the buffet. The food itself was mediocre, at best. Nothing to write home about. I'll take a special moment however, to criticize their "Hot & Sour Soup". I put that in quotation marks for a reason. People know what to expect from that dish: a dark brown, savory thick soup that is hot and sour, with various vegetables in it. Their "Hot & Sour Soup" was a sickly-sweet yellow gelatinous goop, with very little in the way of vegetables in it, was definitely not hot (some red flecks in it may have been hot pepper flakes, but it wasn't enough and I couldn't taste them) and sweet is the opposite of sour. I couldn't even finish my little styrofoam bowl of the stuff (and normally I devour Hot & Sour Soup). Also, while I was there I got to see how they treated a special request. While I was finishing up my meal, I saw a car pull in out front, a lady got out, walked into the place, and had a questioning look on her face. She walked up to the register. The woman behind the counter just gestured to the buffet and said "You eat in?" The guest asked "I know General Tso's is normally chicken, but could you make General Tso's Shrimp for me please?" The woman working there scowled and snapped back "NO! General Tso's Chicken! No Shrimp!. . .You Eat In?" and gestured to the buffet again. The visitor looked a little surprised shook her head, turned around and left. By the time I was done with my meal and heading back to my office, I was getting that distinct rumble in my stomach that tells me I ate really cheap food and I'll be heading to the restroom soon.

Don't let the sketchy hand written signs in the window fool you, the food here is anything but sketchy as those signs. I had the Buddhist Feast which wasn't part of the lunch menu, but still reasonably priced at $6.99...I think it was. The portion was huge, and so was my husband's portion of his lunch special, the spicy chicken.

This is my first one star review. Now those who know me know I am a fair person. Okay, you have an off day? I get it. I'll come back and be the judge of it next time. Okay, I don't like seafood and I happen to be dragged to seafood restaurant? I'm not gonna say the food was bad just because it's not my cup of tea. --Do you not serve tea? Unless you're an asian restaurant (hot tea) or a southern one (sweet tea) - I'm not docking points. Heck, I probably won't even if you are. However, I have never been treated so poorly by employees than my first and last visit here. We came in, no one in sight. No one but us - and a teenaged boy on his cellphone. He barely looked up as we entered and we proceeded to wait at the counter. We waited longer. And longer. Too long for service. Then a young lady came out and looked shocked. She looked over to what we learned was her brother and started scolding in Chinese. (No, I am not racist; I understand some Chinese and can identify it.) But you don't have to have those outstanding credentials to understand he was being chewed out for ignoring customers. He got up as if gravity worked fervently just to impede him, groaned hatefully, and went to the back of the store. She said one minute. There the yelling started. He came out, almost comically because it was so dramatic, and "tried" to take our order. My mamaw demanded to speak to his sister and told him she didn't appreciate his attitude and would NOT be dealing with him as a paying customer. His sister returned and apologize profusely. We ordered, but only because we were so startled by this occurrence that we tried to maintain some normalcy. The food sucked. The end.

Good food, large portions and friendly service. Everything you can ask for in Chinese take out.

Good food, but rude service though. Apparently, the boss lady didn't get the memo about good service. Called today for delivery. Boss lady put me on hold 2 times and hung up on me.

I love this place. We do take out here on a regular basis. It is very clean and the food is great. We have not found anything negative.

Very clean and large portions. Everyone was happy with their meal. The rice was ok but I've had better. A little dry. Crab rangoons were ok. Just had a different taste. Very friendly service! We don't live here so we probably won't go out of our way to eat here again.

I used to order from Jin Jin when I lived near Chinoe, but now that I live on the north side of town I had to find somewhere new for my Chinese take-out. I call in, place an order, and drive straight in to pick it up. They've always had it ready for me and have never been slow or given me any problems. I particularly like their beef and broccoli and their sesame tofu. An order is easily enough to feed you for two meals if you so choose. Whenever I am looking for something to fill my stomach and I'm not looking for anything healthy or gourmet, this is the place.
