A simple concept, salads and lemonade, in a restaurant with simple grey décor. I have been here for lunch several times and my office also has had them cater a couple of lunches for my department. My favorite is the chicken taco and the BLT. The salads are fresh and the choice of ingredients range from typical combinations (BLT- lettuce, tomatoes, bacon, ranch, croutons) to innovative (barbeque brisket- lettuce, barbecue beef brisket, sweet potatoes, red onion, red peppers, sweet corn, croutons, tomatoes with barbecue vinaigrette). I love the piña colada lemonade and would take it over a real piña colada! The only downside is the price. I don't come here more than once a week because a salad plus a drink is a little over $10. It's definitely worth it, though! This is a great local fast casual spot!

I had my first Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen experience today and it was great! The staff were all friendly and helpful in answering my questions. I ordered the Chicken Taco Salad and was given extra dressing with it which was good since both the salsa vinaigrette and avocado cream were delicious!! Before my visit I signed up for their email list and the lemonade club and received a free lemonade. I chose the strawberry lemonade and it is amazing!! I recommend this place to any and all salad lovers or someone just looking for a lite but filling lunch.
(5)Jacqueline H.
This place was OK. the salads are creative, unique and there are a variety of meat and non/meat toppings to choose from. I'm disappointed that their portions are so small though. For 10+ dollar meal they skimp on toppings (tablespoon size toppings), so if you like lettuce, go for it. I probably will find somewhere else next time I want a meal.
(3)Stacy S.
Soup and salad were delicious, but don't pass up the homemade juice. Taste test them all. Mix a couple of them. Very good.
(5)Krista M.
What ambiance this place has! The food is amazing. There are Kentucky Proud options available. Very accommodating to food allergies as well as a latex allergy. Great place for a relaxing, healthy meal with friends or family or even a quiet spot to work. Lexington needs more Vinaigrette Salad Kitchens!
(5)Shawn J.
Good salad but overpriced. You are paying for the environment and not so much the salad. You can get a better vegan salad for an eighth the price at Kroger.
(1)Reinee D.
This is the best place. The food is fantastic and the staff always has a smile and they are nice.
(3)Tonya S.
Everything is out of this world! You can't go wrong with any of these deliciously crafted salads. From their homemade dressings, soups and fruit juices they have thought of every detail. Enjoy!

If I could only pick three words to describe Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen, healthy, fresh and fast would easily sum it up. This is a great addition to the Lexington fast casual restaurant scene and each salad I've tried so far has been tasty, unique and very filling! No one likes a wimpy salad and these are hearty and healthy. I love that they have some vegetarian salads with the option to add protein. The lemonades and teas are a refreshing compliment. I recommend trying the harvest kale salad before it's off the menu (seasonal). I'm definitely a fan of the use of local KY products! Hope this place continues to be a success.
(5)Zach B.
This place is all you could hope it to be- simple, fast, fresh, and unique without being a budget breaker. Soups and salads, and nothing else. However the salads are incredibly creative with ingredients like sweet potato, quinoa, and bourbon smoked raspberry vinaigrette, for example. If you are health conscious, be it oriented around te purity of ingredients or just from a caloric perspective, this place is a god-send. The blueberry basil lemonade was unlike any lemonade I've ever had before- definitely get it to drink. The place itself is spacious, clean, well organized and aesthetically pleasing. Maybe a touch cold, but no bid deal. I wish I had known about this place a long time ago.
(5)Gloria H.
Excellent salads, both fresh and pleasing to the eye. We had the harvest Kale Salad and the Tomato Bisque soup along with bluegrass herbal tea. Great service. Would definitely eat here again.
(5)Lisa S.
Have been wanting to try this every since they opened and finally went with a girlfriend. I love the concept or a salad restaurant. Everything fresh and prepared right in front of you. I chose the chicken salad which was served on a bed of mixed baby greens and strawberries and tried each of the home made lemonades. The Blueberry basil as not really to my liking, but the cantalope and the watermelon were good, but the mix berry was my favorite. All were such a better choice over soda! My friend had the BLT salad. I just have to say I had food envy. Heres was awesome! I will probably have that next time. The environment itself is open and airy and friendly. What a great place for lunch when in downtown Lexington!
(4)Becc W.
Wonderful! Fresh and great variety. Plus my bowl never seemed to empty out. I was very very full. Shop the lemonades. They have a large a delicious variety. FYI soup is scalding hot but super good. Little to no sweets as my lunch mates pointed out. I personally didn't miss sweets at this meal.

Completely blown away by the awesomeness that is Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen! I first tried this place at a Yelp event last year and fell in love. However, I don't like to write restaurant reviews based on the Yelp party alone. Months after the event, I was finally in the area again and soooo excited to grab some Vinaigrette to go for dinner. Still mouth-watering yummy. What I love: the modern farmhouse-inspired decor and the menu offerings. The menu consists of a handful of usual salads and then a few seasonal salads. All the creative salads are hand-made in front of you with great ingredients that pack a lot of flavor and nutrition. I've sampled nearly everything they offer and all are amazing. I know that's so vague, but dang, SO GOOD. My favorite are the Vegan Power and Harvest Kale salads. Their soups look good too. I'm not really a soup person but I've sampled the pumpkin bisque and loved it. And the icing on the cake? The homemade lemonades! The lemonade flavors rotate based on the seasons (and what they want to make, I suppose). Every flavor I've tried has been amazing (can I use the word 'amazing' over and over?). Flavor examples include Blackberry Vanilla Spice, Blueberry Ginger, etc. Amazing. You can also get a couple small slices of bread with your salad. Again, soooo good. If you're looking for a healthy, awesome meal, come here.

I was a vegetarian for a year but I still am not what you would call a "salad person." I like salads, but generally don't opt for them except as occasional things. Vinaigrette, though, has really changed my mind on this concept. Their Harvest Kale Salad is absolutely incredible, and I try to go in at least once a week to have one. It's incredibly filling, and the ingredients are so fresh and tasty that you wonder what kind of stuff other places are using. Their other salads are great too, but this one is really my favorite. They also have fresh lemonades that people go crazy about. I prefer the cantaloupe! They really take their salads seriously and look for ways to improve and bring new flavors into what they make, and it shows in their food.
(5)Wes C.
The Good: the fresh ingrediants, house made lemonade, house made dressing, house made pretty much everything, a lot of local ingredients, nice minimalist, rustic feel. The Bad: their country ham is not country ham. The Rundown: they have a menu of salads that provides flavors you can't find anywhere else. There is of course an al a carte option as well. My favorite is the Bluegrass Blackberry but the Soprasatta is also very good. You have a choice of different meats you can add on, chicken, salmon, country ham, and salami. My only complaints about the meat is that the country ham, while very good, is not country ham. It is not very slaty, it is thick chunks and just does not have the taste or texture of country ham. Their lemonades are ever changing and always delicious, I wish the blueberry basil was a constant . The Impression: this location is in the heart of downtown Lexington with a slightly bigger space than their other location. The food is amazing because of their local fresh ingredients and their unique salad combinations, this can be many peoples lunchtime staple.

Do you have a New Year resolution to eat healthier? Run to Vinaigrette! A few months ago, I noticed that my favorite Fro Jo spot was downsizing... say what? I thought I gave them enough business to stay large and in charge. And then I learned that they were downsizing to open a test kitchen of sorts. This is where Vinaigrette was born. Yes, it's small, but remember that it is a test kitchen. The owners own several of the local Orange Leaf, and are local Lexingtonians. At first, I thought that they were going to be the Subway of salads, but actually they have several pre set salad concoctions that are the ideas of the great local Chef Ouita Michel. If you don't know who Chef Michel is, we've probably heard of at least one of her restaurants that include Smith Town Seafood, Holly Hill, Windy Corner and Wallace Station. The first time that I tried Vinaigrette, I knew it was Yelp event worthy. As you probably already know, only the best of the best pass my Yelp event worthiness test. So, this is where our November Yelp event was. yelp.com/biz/oye-so-fres… My favorite salad is the Southwest chicken. It's big enough to eat as two meals. Yes, Vinaigrette is known for their salads, but they also have soups and homemade lemonade. The flavors of both the soup and lemonade are rotated based on the season. I'm not quite sure if the soups will be a seasonal thing in general, so don't quote me on them. If you're looking for a great, healthy, local place to find a great salad, check out this place... thank me later.
(5)Julie G.
Just as great as it was on my previous visit. This time I got the Orange Blossom salad and added grilled chicken, and it was wonderful. The dining area has expanded. Even during the Friday lunch rush, finding a table was not a problem. Service was top-notch: friendly, efficient and the staff was very agreeable to a simple substitution. I am not a fan of iceberg and romaine lettuces and wanted spring mix instead -- they were very accommodating. This is an excellent, fast and healthy lunch option.
(5)Tyler F.
Not sure what all the hype is about. My salad was just some lettuce with a couple veggies and a small portion of meat on top. Wasn't chopped or even mixed up. I expected more.
(2)Lee P.
Delicious salads and great service. The suggested salads can have a little too much dressing but overall, very affordable and delicious.
(5)Amanda C.
So good. I come here often and everything I've had is just delicious. The lemonades aren't for everyone-- my husband strongly dislikes them since they aren't super sweet but I absolutely love them- especially the watermelon. The harvest kale is by far my favorite. I was unsure about the sweet potato topping but it's amazing.
(5)Michael M.
Tried Vinaigrette Salad Kitchen today for my first time and my wife's second. I ordered what she had sampled on her previous visit, the Bluegrass Blackberry Salad with bacon and sunflower seeds added. My dish had a nice mixture of fresh and interesting ingredients. The standard blackberry sorghum vinaigrette paired well with the bacon I added. Erica had the Orange Blossom salad, and since it had fewer ingredients than mine she decided it was screaming for wild salmon which she added. She found her selection quite nice but the next time ordering it would add sunflower seeds for more texture. I received a complimentary homemade lemonade by signing up for their lemonade club and chose a strawberry version which was delicious. We both sampled the other flavors and enjoyed them as well. If you are in the mood for salad this is an excellent dining option. We especially like how they offer a variety of add on proteins (country ham, salami, bacon, wild salmon, etc) rather than throwing grilled chicken at every salad like Panera.
(4)Heather T.
This place is really neat! I love the atmosphere! I ordered the bluegrass blackberry and the sausage, kale and potato soup! The salad was so big that I just took the soup home with me! All their dressings are homemade and I really liked mine. They also have homemade lemonade. They had several different flavors. The strawberry and blackberry mint were really good! This place is somewhere I could see myself coming too much!
(5)Megan M.
Fantastic salads and great portions - definitely worth what you pay for. It gets crazy busy during lunch hours as expected but you never wait long for your order.
(5)Jack E.
Let me start off this review by saying I am NOT a big fan of salads. Don't get me wrong, I like them but when I go to a restaurant they are usually never considered as a main course. Also, I typically don't care much for vinaigrette dressing. For those two reasons alone I would have never thought that I'd be writing this review. The name of the restaurant is off putting to me. When I first saw it I laughed out loud. Surely this is a joke, or yet another poor idea for a restaurant that really sounded good in someone's mind. But the Yelp reviews? I'm puzzled. I wanted to try it but I was still skeptical, these are probably reviews from a niche few salad lovers (aka Vegetarians), surely not carnivores such as myself. My interest was peaked but when a friend of mine went and was telling me how much he and his wife liked it that was it, I knew I had to try it. Well, needless to say, I am impressed. I've been here a couple of times in the past few days and I have tried four of their salads on the menu list and each one was awesome. We really enjoy this place. The staff is friendly and outgoing, the atmosphere is bright and refreshing. I can't wait to bring some of my family/friends. Oh, by the way, not all of the salads are dressed with vinaigrette, but the one that I've had that was, DELICIOUS! I really wish this place had a better name, I'm afraid there may be people like me who may not try it because it sounds so... salady. Oh yeah, the drinks!!!!! BEST ICED TEA EVER!
(5)Emily F.
I was finally able to try this place and it did not let me down! I had the Tuscan salad. I loved the tangy kalamata olives combined with the sweet, fresh mozzarella. They also had different flavored lemonades - I tried them all and settled for strawberry lemonade even though all were fantastic! Will definitely be back!
(5)Susan W.
What a great new addition to downtown! The salads are so creative and delicious and the flavored lemonade is positively delightful. My only complaint is the price -- It can be $14 for a salad and a beverage. However, the food is top notch so it's a good splurge every now and then.
(4)Katie S.
Fresh take on salad. Great combinations and great ingredients. I will say the highlight was not the salad but the cucumber lemonade that I couldn't put down, no really I drank it till I felt sick, and still wanted more! I also enjoyed the soup and the dressing. I think it's a great lunch spot. My only complaint is the metal forks against the metal bowls make for some interesting and painful noises.
(4)Brooke M.
The sweetest new gem in Lexington. I love the salads and the options. Wanna throw something together off the menu but with the ingredients they have? They'll do it! They are super helpful and the lemonade is amazing.
(5)Lyndsay R.
Loving this concert and it's just as delicious!!! Hoping to see them grow, would love more location options! Their lemonades are to die for, I wouldn't mind buying them by the gallon!
(5)Glenda G.
I really like this concept. I visit the Downtown Lexington location frequently. I always get the salad that comes with bacon. My only criticism is that there is a HUGE HUGE HUGE difference in the amount of salad that you get if you dine in or get it to go. There is way more salad if you dine in. I've noticed customers ordering dine in and then asking for a to go container. Since the price is the same the amount of salad should be equivalent.
(5)Brandon V.
Color me impressed. The food is great, along with the flavored lemonades. Great selection on the menu; a little something for everyone which is hard to do in such a specific theme. The service is SUPER friendly and not just in a canned way - in a word, sincere. I love the clean lines and modern decor. This place really goes to show that a small local business can do it right and not have to make excuses for why they can't.

I just tried this place for the first time yesterday. I didn't realize they had two locations and the thought of dragging an infant and toddler downtown was daunting. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this location . Despite my very curious toddler trying to get into everything she knows that she shouldn't, the staff was very patient and explained the menu well. This always surprises me. I've come across young staff at some places and they view kids as a nuisance. But they weren't. They were very sweet. We have a lot of places like panera in California, however, nothing that just focuses on salad. The fact that you can just tell the ingredients are fresh makes me feel like I'm eating something good for me. The staff allowed me to try the dressings of the two salads i was debating about. Both equally as good. However, one was for me and the other for my mom. We have two different tastes. I love BBQ things and my mom doesn't. So I got the BBQ brisket salad and got my mom the chicken taco salad. I loved my salad! I couldn't enjoy it but let's face it, who has time to sit and enjoy a meal at home when you have kids! Lol I just wish there was a little more dressing on it but it was a nice and light dressing. The sweet potato was an interesting add in but I didn't dislike it. I got my daughter the sausage, kale, and potato soup for my daughter. I could tell she loved it as she was walking around the house going "numm num num num!" Lol I tried it and really enjoyed it but didn't want to eat a lot of it since it was my daughters dinner. I will definitely be back!
(5)Roberta B.
Omg best salad ever! We have a lot of choose from! My favor was Acapulco salad. If u need your salad fix you should stop by.
(5)Chelsea B.
Great place!! Wonderful salads, great produce selection and incredible lemonade!!!!
(5)Karen H.
Searched Vegan in Georgetown, KY and this was 1st on the list. I saw the vegan option on the menu and everyone's photos looked nice, so thought I'd give it a try. Very glad I did. I would definitely recommend this as a lunch spot. Beautiful interior design. Cheerful staff. Vegan Power Salad is delicious!! Loved the Blackberry Ginger Lemonade too. Music included Iron & Wine and Bon Iver. I want one of these restaurants in Franklin, TN!
(5)Mark W.
Gotta be one of the best places in Lexington! The cobb salad is amazing. I also had the chance to try all of their homemade lemonades and drinks. The Cucumber lemonade is out of this world as is the horchata. Such a fun and delicious place!
(5)Kimberly V.
Loved this restaurant! Great concept with cool decor. Most of all I appreciate the quality and freshness of the ingredients! This will be one of my regular meeting spots.
(5)Heather P.
I often struggle to find healthy, fresh food on-the -go. So when I heard of a place that specialized in fresh, fast salads, I got pumped! The atmosphere is great! Think Chipotle's industrial look with cute cozy touches. The employees are attentive and very genuinely friendly! I think the man who rang up my order was the owner or manager, and he was just super nice and helpful. The salad I got was really good. I got the Tuscan. Super fresh, quality ingredients. The dressing is house made, and very well done. The lemonade is house made, too. I just felt a little disappointed with the pricing. Maybe because I got a salad to-go, it was smaller than the dining in size. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth of salad. I'm definitely coming back to dine inside, though!
(3)Ashley M.
Loved the latest lunch option on the West-side of town! Beautifully designed with healthier options for your mid-day meal. We arrived shortly after they opened at 11am and were greeted by happy faces. We placed our order and by the time we paid, our salad was already prepared! Move over Jimmy Johns....you're not the fastest deal in town now! I visited the restaurant's website before coming out so I knew to sign up for the Lemonade club in advanced. With my salad purchase I received my free lemonade and to my surprise its not your grandma's lemonade! I had four options to choose from: Meyer Lemon Rosemary, Watermelon Mint, Blueberry Basil and Blackberry Mint. I chose the Meyer Lemon Rosemary and can't wait to go back and try all of them! There are also Tea options and water in Carafes at the tables. on the menu, we had 5 Signature salads and 3 Classic salads to choose from. You can add Grilled Chicken, Wild Salmon, Country Ham and Salami to any salad from $2-$4 more. With 25 ingredients present you can also customize your salad. The ingredients are broken down into categories: Proteins, Cheese, Veggies & Fruit and Other. Fresh slices of Baguette are served on the side. I ate the Bluegrass Blackberry and my coworker at the BLT Deluxe. Both were delicious and exceeded our expectations. The fresh dressings really stood out and made the salad. It won't be long before I've tried them all...you'll say the same soon too!
(5)Jenn K.
I stopped to get a lemonade on Saturday. I did sample the strawberry lemonade, watermelon and cucumber. After tasting them all I ended up with the cucumber lemonade. How refreshing! I'll definitely be back to have a salad when I have time to sit and eat.
(5)Mike T.
Excellent! This place keeps it simple, yet delivers on taste and atmosphere. I had the Tuscan and he had the Taco Salad. Both were perfection. The Strawberry Lemonade and Berry Spice Lemonade were probably the best lemonades I've ever had. The lady who greeted us and made our salads was polite and friendly. The decor is trendy and clean. This is the exactly what Lexington needed!
(5)Amy K.
Visited Vinaigrette for the first time tonight and I have to say it was one of the best first experiences I've had at a local restaurant. The menu was creative and unique, with plenty of room to customize for picky eaters. I had the Chicken Taco Salad and the Blackberry Mint Lemonade; both were delicious and definitely something I would order again. The staff were friendly and thorough in making sure to ask if I was okay with the listed ingredients standard to the salad I ordered before they began preparing my food. The only thing I could recommend them change at this point in time is to offer half size portions on the salad for those who would like both a salad and a cup of soup (but don't have monstrous appetites as the current salad portions are generous). I'll definitely be back!
(5)Chad C.
This place just opened on 8/30/2014 and in my opinion just a breath of fresh air. It is nestled between House Subs and Orange Leaf off Leestown Road and boy is it good. They just offer salads. You can chose from one of their signature salads with their made from scratch dressings or you can build your own. They offer indoor and outdoor seating which ever strikes your fancy. The staff are all super friendly and helpful. My friend and I went there for lunch to try it out. I am really glad we did. I had a very filling Orange Blossom salad with Fresh Basil Lemonade to drink. Very light and refreshing to say the least. It is actually the first strictly salad place I have ever seen or been to for that matter and is set up like a build your own sub. Great concept. If you are in the area or would like an healthier alternative to the normal drab lunch sandwich, stop in and check this place out. I am sure you will enjoy.

Well done, well done. I have been in Lexington for two years on business. This past week, my assignment has taken me to Hazard, KY and I stumbled upon this place on the way back to the airport. Wow. Clean, fresh, inviting are just some of the words. Everything is spelled out nicely and the staff is uber friendly. Even staff members that weren't waiting on me took time to greet me. I had the Harvest Kale salad with Chicken and it was one of the best salads I have ever had. My plan is to stop by this place once a week for the next 12 weeks on my way to the airport and then make it a regular stop when stationed back in Lexington. I even told two ladies about it at Lexington Airport. Can't say enough good things about this experience. Thank you! Maybe add a breakfast line because I can already see that you have loyal customers who would love it.
(5)Lucia D.
I got the Tuscan salad...and I want to get it everyday. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! You can't go wrong with Vinaigrette. I paid around 8.50 total with a salad and free lemonade! Some may say that's pricey but for the quality and quantity, it's worth it! The lemonades and teas are somewhere around $2.95 each...I normally would settle for water but it's worth the splurge, especially the strawberry lemonade! Can't wait to go back.
(5)Hallie F.
I just had an amazing salad. I can't stop thinking about it. I got the Santorini. I'm not normally a salad person but wow. Y'all just blew my mind. It was fresh and delicious. Next time I'll leave off the chickpeas though; not a big fan of those.
(4)Bradley B.
I was very impressed with the quality of food here...I had the Tuscan Salad with grilled salmon and the Pumpkin Bisque both were quite tasty!!! I stopped for dinner, it was quick service, and the individual working asked ahead of time to make sure I was ok with items like red onions, olives, cheese, etc. so if you are a picky eater, you will get an extra reminder ;-) If you enjoy a place like Panera or Zoup, you will love this place even more!
(5)Rick M.
How hard is it to make a salad? Not very. How hard is it to screw it up? Even easier. This place has been open for a month and they are cranking it out like a tremendous machine. I've read the references to chipotle with salad, but I am not a chipotle fan. Similar concept, better result and a lot cheaper. I like a good salad now and then. Usually I feel that most salads should be fed to food. When I do want a salad I don't want a $12 salad the size you would serve your entire family at thanksgiving. The salads here are large and served in, what the gf called, dog bowls. We have a couple of large dogs and we feed them out of stainless mixing bowls. The salads were excellent. I had the Acapulco Caesar. Lots of tomato, lots of cheese and lots of croutons. The Caesar dressing was called a chipotle Caesar. The smoky spicy sweet was way in the background. The gf had a Tuscan salad. Tomato, kalamata, fresh mozz and spinach. She couldn't finish it. It was huge. Two salads, 4 slices of bread and an ice tea, $17 and change. Not bad.
(5)Chuck G.
Fresh, fresh, fresh! Great salad. I had the Santorini with Lemon Viniagrette which was tart but not overly so. My wife had BLT salad which was good but she said the bacon was overly salty. We both had the blueberry ginger lemonade. A bit pricey but not enough to keep me from going back.
(5)Jason D.
Went with a few colleagues for lunch today. My first visit, theirs as well. Great concept, excellent food. Will certainly be back.
(5)Emily S.
The ingredients were fresh and the salad wholesome- which is welcome when travelling. Try the downtown location.
(5)Jacob S.
I wish I could attach a picture to show how delicious their salads are but the truth is that I was hungry and it looked too good to take that kind of time away from eating. Great salads, amazing dressings and so many things to put on it. The service was accommodating and helpful, offering taste tests and suggestions. The drink of the day was different and great. Will be back soon.
(5)Jonathan D.
Creative, healthy, fresh salads with mostly local ingredients. The suggested salads are excellent or you can make your own from start to finish. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The ambiance is clean, simple, and trendy. If you love light, healthy salads for lunch then you need to go here. The homemade craft lemonades are a great added bonus.
(5)Matthew K.
The fact they have a restaurant with quality ingredients in a fast food wasteland that is most of Leestown Road is awesome. The salads I've tried so far have all been wonderful. The Bluegrass BlackBerry Salad with Ham is spectacular. The dressing is sweet and in general great. My wife always ask for extra dressing on this because she loves it so much. The Taco Salad with chicken is wonderful as well and is probably my second favorite. The lemonades are definitely worth a try. There are many unique flavors in these and they always have something new. My only complaint is they don't have enough locations in Lexington, which I'm sure will soon change. :)
(5)Ron J.
I am not sure about these 5 star reviews. I was looking forward to a good salad, and had heard about this place, but I went there and saw the prices , I left. Way overpriced for salad. It would cost about $18 for two salads, bread and drinks. No customers were eating there that evening.
(1)Aaron Y.
We really enjoyed this restaurant. All the ingredients are really fresh and it is very mellow at dinner time. A great healthy alternative in Lexington. Update: I've now been here several times. The food is good but the service is not wonderful. The guy behind the counter made all kinds of mistakes on both salads and if I hadn't caught him we would've gone home with wrong orders. They've got to step it up.
(3)Elaine D.
Great idea for a lunch spot. I had the Santorini salad, very mediterranean inspired, with quinoa, feta, chick peas, tomatoes, cucumbers, red peppers, toasted pita chips (Did I miss anything?). I opted for the creamy lemon vinaigrette dressing. It's a healthy portion for $7.95, served in a large stainless bowl. Lexington's own Ouita Michel Chef designed the menu -- is there anything she does that isn't wonderful? I also had the blueberry basil lemonade -- very refreshing. Seating is limited as the place is small so, if you can, go after the lunch rush. Service is fast, and Bryce (one of the owners) and his staff are super friendly. A new Lexingtion lunch gem!
(5)Mrs M.
I know this is a salad place, but the soup.... Oh... The soup... Mmmmmmmm. Mmmmm good!
(5)Katy J.
So well done! We had the Tuscan salad and the chicken taco salad, both were tasty and fresh. The interior is peaceful and the service is great. You must try the blackberry mint lemonade. Only suggestion I have is to offer half portions to reduce food waste. If you aren't starving you could easily split one of the salads.
(5)Beth H.
This place is awesome. I had the Bluegrass Blackberry Salad and Blackberry Vanilla Spice Lemonade. Delicious!!!! I will definitely be returning.
(5)Ashley D.
Love love love it! These are the freshest and best tastings salads I've found at a restaurant. Ingredients are impeccable and the creative combinations are great. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. Although the location is small it is a great lunch stop or after work dinner option. Love their lemonades! Piña Colada is my personal favorite but there are a lot of good choices. I hope they are able to expand and open a nice downtown location. We need more healthy lunch options in the area.
(5)Gary M.
We were traveling, and Vinaigrette was a wonderful find. GREAT salads!
(5)Sarah K.
It's a small place, just a few tables - patio tables, they don't want you camping out. The salads the feature have didn't suit me so I built my own and I really liked it. It was sort of a distant copy of the famous Chop't Salad of NY and CA, but nowhere near the choices, not as fresh and not chopped either. The lettuce pieces were huge. The dressings were all unusual - I tried the Tuscan balsamic and it had a kick, which I liked. I also tried the soup - creamy tomato and I didn't like it at all, neither did the person I was with, and neither did the person I brought it home to - it tasted more like pumpkin or beef than tomato but they only had tomato. They didn't have any drinks in the cooler - I think they prefer to sell their unique lemonades, but I wanted a diet Coke - they found me one 'in the back' and I bought it only to find it had expired and it was bad. oh well. The ice machine was out and it took 3 people to get them to go get ice - which they got from a plastic bag they had gotten from Walmart and dumped into the machine. The place was cold too. I liked the salad, but wow, they have a lot to fix before I'd recommend it. Plus it was maybe the most expensive salad I've ever had in my life and it was not the best by far.

DELICIOUS! And fresh ingredients. Seriously, nothing holds me back from giving this place 5 stars: reasonably priced, friendly and helpful staff, and seasonal recipes. New favorite place!!! MUST GO!!

Love this place! For every salad I've had, all of the ingredients have been fresh and delicious. The salads are large so don't let the price "just for a salad" scare you. The staff is very friendly (& handsome). One thing I have learned though is: if you want more of something and less of another you have to ask, they can't read your mind.

I'm a HUGE fan! I've had the vegan power, harvest kale and orange blossom salads and they are all delicious. The ingredients are super fresh and their dressings are amazing. The pumpkin spice lemonade is also surprisingly tasty. I only wish that they had more locations!

Excellent healthy salad at a reasonable price. Staff was very friendly in explaining options. Try the Blackberry Mint Lemonade ! Wish there was one of these in my neighborhood.
