I rate this my Official neighborhood bar/ hangout! When I am tired and stressed out I can go here and get the Best Burger in town " The O Round" and a shot of Buffalo Trace on the rocks!, Suddenly things don't seem so bad anymore . But seriously they also have the most juicy yet crispy fried mushrooms with a toooo die for horsey sauce!!!

Went here for lunch with my girlfriend. She had a wrap that was pretty good and I had the bangers and mash which I also enjoyed. This place has that bar atmosphere down and is very clean. Our server was Kathy and she was great!!

I ordered the beer cheese burger and it was fantastic! It was a great place, but the servers could be a little more personable!

Hostess rocks! The three times I've been there our waitress with long brown hair is AWFUL! Always grumpy and doesn't check on you. Ask for a favor and she makes you feel like you asked for the world. Other than the prices being a bit higher than they need to be, it's very good. Kid friendly place for sure. Love the kids game up front.

We love the food here! The Guido will satisfy about any void in your belly. Nice servers, good advertisers and tons of tv's. I haven't played keno but they have that too! Good neighborhood spot any night of the week.

This another new place we've tried as it is just too close to our house to ignore. For a place that is somewhat hidden away in a neighborhood, it usually has a good crowd. I already have a slightly favorable bias when I enter Shamrocks--it looks like my kind of place--a nice, local pub feel. The menu is also appealing as I am a huge hamburger fan and they a lot of fun burger choices (O'Rounds)--as well as, drum roll please...WAFFLE FRIES! Outside of the burgers, they have a large variety of apps and entrees in a well organized menu. They also have a good selection of draft beers. I tried their "Burger Week" burger, and it was great. It had a very long name (Far East Bound & Down O'Round). I've also had their beer cheese burger and wings in the past--quite tasty. I look forward to eating them again...and again A few critical points: we haven't had the best service. To be fair, we've been on busy nights so far. I didn't care for the fried mushrooms, the breading on the mushrooms need more seasoning--salt, maybe garlic? The husband liked it, but I found them bland.

This is definitely our little neighborhood Pub to visit. They have some great burgers. The BBQ cheddar O'round is my favorite and the chicken deluxe nachos. They have started doing burgers of the day as well recently it seems. Just saw a peanut butter and bacon burger listed the other day. They can get packed on UK basketball games. You almost have to get there 1 1/2 to 2 hrs ahead to get a seat, but it's a great atmosphere to be in. Prices have gone up some so not thrilled about that but it's not enough for me to stop going. Happy hour you can usually get $2.00 of appetizers I believe.

Not a bad place to come! Great neighborhood bar that serves good food and has a great atmosphere. I am betting this place is packed during UK games! Pretty big menu with lots of choices! We came for the Lex burger well $5 burger. We didn't think the burger flavored were all that great. The burger meat itself was cooked to perfection and had great flavor, we just were not over the moon with the toppings for the lex burger they choose, they didn't seem to blend well. The waffle fries were yum nice and crunchy! The wings were really good, we had the honey bourbon glazed and it was so yummy and flavorful! Our friends had the steak and they said it was really good. The waitstaff was very friendly and very attentive! We will def be coming back here!

Despite the fact that I'm not into sports... Despite the fact that as a vegan my food options here are limited... Despite the fact that the kitchen staff messed up my order... I'm still a fan :) Why? Because... - our waitress was super super nice and friendly and helpful - my Grilled Portabella Mushroom Sandwich was really delicious! - my inner cheerleader enjoyed watching the patrons get excited during the UK game :) (side note: the portabella mushroom was thinner than what I'm used to which was a bit of a bummer.) We came here to meet the BF's friends. Shamrock is definitely is a fun place to hang out with a group. I could see why this is a good neighborhood spot. I also got to walk away with a funny story to tell about how the kitchen staff interpreted my order with "no cheese." They successfully left off the mozzarella but failed to omit the cream cheese spread. According to our waitress, when she confronted them to fix the order, they replied "Cream cheese is cheese??? Ohhhhh!!!" :) Memories of this place makes me smile :)

Never had a bad meal here. Probably eaten here 100 times. Great pub food you will not be disappointed

Great fish and chips dinner. Fish is flaky and breading is light. Always served hot and fresh.

Every time I come here I really love it. The service is great and the food is always spectacular! I recommend getting the fried pretzels to start, ask for a side of honey mustard it's really good like that. I had the O' Round and I'd have to say it's one of the best burgers in town. Taste freshly grilled and juicy! And the onion rings are to die for, dip then in the honey mustard too and you'll really be winning! I'll be back!

One of my favorite places. The Beer cheese o'round is amazing. Charlie the bartender is great! He always has a smile on his face. Great place to watch the Cats win.

Great atmosphere, great food and people. Beer menu can be better. The best place to watch a game. Lucky to have this place in my neighborhood.

Best place in town to watch a game. The food is great and prices are very reasonable. The burgers are the best and the service is as well.

food still good but recent changes to serving staff not so good -- at most recent visit we made the mistake of asking to move from table we had been seated at by hostess. Server whose section we moved to was NOT happy by the change and took it out on us. Ignored us except for taking appetizer order and one drink order, snarky attitude each time. We had to ask for the check to be able to leave-- had intended to order food but were afraid to stay for more, could have ended up with god know what in our food--assuming we could have even got her to bring us anything else. Shamrocks had been one of our favorite places but this visit makes me not want to return.

This location makes just as good burgers as the other location and has the benefit of being a little larger place so it seems to not get quite as packed as the other location. Great place to watch sporting events.

Slightly pricey, but decent bar food. Have watched NFL here a few times, and it's a good place for that. Despite the Irish name, the corned beef here is crap. It was just lunchmeat. Some of the more classic bar food was better. I liked the wings and the deep fried pretzel.
(3)Shawn S.
The burgers here are pretty good. The place is called "Shamrock's" but don't think that makes it authentic Irish fare. The fish and chips are nowhere near worth their $10 price. The fish is wimpy little nuggets of tasteless fish coated in a tasteless breading and overcooked until chewy. The cole slaw is merely wet cabbage with no flavor. The waffle fries are somehow over done and have the texture of cardboard. In a nutshell, don't order the fish and chips. Also, if you're looking for a place to get a nice mixed drink, don't bother. Beer or bust is the only way to get your money's-worth here. If you order a spirit "on the rocks" don't expect an appropriate low-ball glass, expect to get an $8.25 drink in a shot glass with ice added to it... Ridiculous.

I was here with the guys for Sunday Football, I was surprised at how different this place is from the Patchen location. I enjoyed it. Great sports bar, plenty of seating and tvs so you never miss a play! Waitstaff was great, even considering how busy it was, they never missed a beat. Food is good, better than your normal bar food and fairly priced. The atmosphere was fun, and the crowd was openly friendly. Cant beat football and drinks! Nice location.

Thanks Shamrock's for feeding my so well on my trip to Lexington. I love the family friendly tavern atmosphere, nice people and great food. I would highly recommend this place to any out of towner who just wants a good meal - you are made to feel welcome, and if you want to catch a game, they'll turn on the game of your choice on one of the many TVs. Great tavern food. I stuck mostly to burgers and salads, all was good, fast and fresh.
(4)Jenny D.
Large portions and a wide variety including many variations of sandwiches and burgers. The sides cost extra which makes it over $10 a person but the onion rings and waffle fries were worth it. The Guinness was much more expensive than other places in town ($5 a pint). Over all good food and casual atmosphere. I would go again.

Great burgers, so-so service. Avoid on game day if you don't care for the crowd!
