After sitting in Denny's for over an hour, not receiving any food and walking out we came to O'Charley's and the experience was great. The server saw that we were hungry and a little irritated from Denny's so she was really on the spot. I've never received food and beer so fast. The food quality (tilapia from $9.99 menu) was fantastic and the price was right. Overall we had a really good time.

Liked the twisted chips appetizer. It's a funky pile fresh-made potato chips with cheese sauce on top. For entrees, I had pasta with sirloin pieces, asparagus, and mushrooms. It was covered with a chipotle sauce. Very original! My wife ate the tortilla chicken salad, which was fine but not exceptional. Our waiter was excellent - very friendly. Nonetheless, for the price, I think there are several other places of this caliber that we would pick over O'Charley's.

I've been to this location on several occasions and I'm most always satisfied with the food and service. I usually get either the french dip sandwich, fish & chips, or the chicken pot pie. The french dip is tender, juicy and has a great flavor to it. The fish and chips are served up in huge portions, so I typically end up taking some home. And with the chicken pot pie, it's savory and a comfort food so you can't really go wrong with it. Joe will typically get the Louisiana sirloin because he loves sirloin and the Cajun butter that comes on it. On occasion, he will try the prime rib but he will more often than not complain that it's more fat than meat. Also, two great things to note: Sunday brunch, and free pie Wednesdays! Sunday brunch here is pretty good. I can get eggs benedict and mimosas, so I'm a happy camper. Then, with your meal purchase on Wednesdays you'll get free pie so that's a happy bonus. I normally get apple and Joe will get cherry. I'd love to see some seasonal choices like lemon or key lime. That would be amazing.

It's O'Charlies. You know what you're getting. It's consistently good. My boyfriend had the steak and chicken tenders. Medium well steak was perfectly cooked. Sides were great. I had the southwest wedge salad that was delicious!!! The new menu updates offer some exciting new options. Serice was prompt and polite.

We were visiting our Grandson, who is a student at UK, on our way home from Florida. We wanted to take him out to lunch so he chose here. he ordered the Cheese Soup and Chicken Tenders and my wife and I ordered the Fish & Chips. Everything was served hot and delicious. The server was very good and adjusted her delivery so that we could have enough time to catch up on everything he had to say. they have some good deserts but, unfortunately we didn't have room after our main course and especially all the fresh baked rolls they serve with the meals. The server also was helpful in packing up the leftovers so our grandson could take them with him for later. A good choice if you're in the area.

I visited this location early on a Sunday afternoon. The building itself has had a bit of a facelift... New accents everywhere and in the front entrance. The rest of the establishment looks about like it always did, but it's clean and in good shape, so no problems here. We had a slight wait, but were seated within 10 minutes. Our seats were apparently wiped down right before we were seats, so my wife had to dry hers before she sad down. I didn't really care, but it was a little annoying. Our server wasn't overly chatty (which I'm totally cool with), and we fairly quickly ordered the Prime Rib Special for Two. For our appetizer, we ordered the fried pickle chips. Granted, these were good, they just weren't what I expected. I think they were over cooked, but I actually enjoyed the crispness of them, expecting the few that were borderline burnt. It was served with some chipotle mayo, as expected. I was expecting a little more heat to this dish, but overall still pretty tasty. Our Prime Rib was delivered medium-rare, as we had ordered, and served with both horseradish sauce and aus jus. My cut looked a little strange, but overall it was excellent, both juicy and meaty. My loaded baked potato was quite delicious as well, although most of my bacon had missed the potato and ended up on the plate. And, of course, the rolls are always tasty. I would prefer to give this place 3.5 stars, but I feel like it leans more to the 3. I would visit again, but there are probably some better choices within walking distance (I mean, it's Nicholasville Rd).

Worst service I have ever had. First of all, it took 20 minutes once sitting in the bar area for someone to wait on us. After we ordered drinks, it took an additional 20 minutes to get them. Someone at our table ordered another beer and it still took 15-20 minutes. When asking the waitress if he could get his drink, she pointed to the bar and said we should just get them ourselves. Meanwhile, the table beside us was getting their food and the waitress forgot to hand out all of the dishes. The guests had to get up and get the dishes OFF THE TRAY. The waitresses never noticed that they did anything wrong. Needless to say, I will NOT be back.

I just had a lovely chicken tender dinner and caramel pie here the other day. A very pleasant meal.

I am not a fan of chain restaurants. However, I have never been disappointed when we have gone to O'Charley's . I normally go for brunch or dinner over the weekend. If you like prime rib, this is one of the few consistent places. I don't mind the fat like some people do, it is Prime Rib after all! The brunch also has the perfect variety, with cheap mimosa!

What's to say, right? It is an O'Charley's after all. Everyone pretty much knows the menu offerings, the restaurant décor, what to expect! Well, let me tell you about how O'Charley's delivered MAX COMFORT at 9:45PM after an 8+ hour drive after a Sunday noon... first day of a 2-day funeral trip. Drive time included an hour in an interstate parking lot on I-75 below Berea, KY, BECAUSE people NORTHBOUND do not know how to form a single lane and keep a 40MPH pace like people SOUTHBOUND do at the French Broad River in Dandridge, TN! Maybe the KY DOT should buy some traffic pylons and use them... or take a field trip SOUTH to learn HOW to place them! Tired and looking for COMFORT FOOD... looked through the complete menu and really felt so drained that nothing was pulling at me. My silent wife also looking and not commenting. Our CHEERY waitress Aundrea H came to the table to take our orders... her pleasant demeanor immediately made the turmoil of the drive and motel check-in fade in importance... independently BOTH of US had settled on the Chicken Pot Pie! A safe choice sure to satisfy! THIS is NOT JUST ANY chicken pot pie! Forget the colonel's version, or Marie's(unless at her restaurant), or any frozen pie. No soggy bottom on this pot pie... O'Charley's Chicken Pot Pie comes piping hot with only a crispy golden crust topper... just enough great crust for the perfect bite every bite until the last bite! Break through the crispy top and let the steam begin to tease you with the delicious aroma of perfect chicken pot pie! There is no need to hunt the chicken and veggies... this pot pie is generously filled with them in a delicious creamy chicken sauce. BE CAREFUL... it will burn your mouth if you try to wolf it down in a hurry! Savor it slowly... and enjoy the fresh coffee Aundrea has just brewed to accompany the meal.. Now THIS is GOOD POT PIE! Only fault I could find is that I love more black pepper than O'Charley's uses in the pie... for my wife, it was perfection... for me I remedied pepper-lite with the pepper shaker! AS GOOD AS CHICKEN POT PIE GETS! By the end of the meal, the stress of the day had faded away and a calm mellow mood had replaced it to assure that a restful night's sleep would follow! Once again, O'Charley's was dependably AS GOOD AS IT NEEDS TO BE!

I went to O'Charley's recently for the first time with a party of 10, and I must say the service was better than most restaurants, when I'm with a party of 2! I started with the cotton candy Shirley temple (cotton candy dissolved in sprite) and it was delicious, and different! For my meal, I had chicken tenders and fries and a side salad and it did not disappoint! I also tried someone else's buffalo chicken tenders and I loved those even more than the original that I got! But for my first time I wanted to try something simple...for future reference: do not fear flavor!

So haven't been to an o'CHARLEYS IN probably 10 years. Saturday 7pm place is dead. We got Sat right away. Us which was 2 and another group of 3 were only pdeople in dining room. Maybe o e group of 3 or so in bar area and just a couple small grips in other area. Our server was really nice no problems there. My gf found a chicken nugget in her tartar sauce. I had a couple small hairs in my fries. Place had that bleachy bathroom mopped smell. Food was ok other than the above mentioned. Won't be back . Place has kinda an old run down feel.
