First things first, we will be back. The atmosphere, the potential we see in the menu and the owner Elizabeth who welcomed us warmly on our first visit, and gave us a sampling of the days Mac-n-cheese. For those reasons we will return and try lunch. This morning we were in search of a croissant breakfast sandwich and good coffee (a common theme for us) and we decided to give them a try. Here is why we can't go higher in stars just yet, the croissant was over toasted. Our opinion on a proper croissant sandwich is you have to have flakey outside but retain it's elasticity on the inside. I had their version of a monte cristo and it was good but not amazing. Butter served with our sons gluten free toast was rock hard and blackberry jelly/preserves is sugary and not fresh tasting. We see potential, but as of this visit.. we can't rave about anything other than the breakfast Mac -n-cheese that had bacon , maple syrup and roasted potatoes cubes! Yum.

Really delicious sandwiches. I had the BBQ pork, and it was very good. The Mac & Cheese side was great too - very creamy and filling. Prices are fair, the exposed brick is warm and fun, and the wait staff is very friendly.

Amazing lunch spot. As soon as we sat down, the waitress brought us a free sample of the mac n' cheese of the day, which was loaded with bacon and tomatoes. I ordered the half salad and half sandwhich special. The sandwhich was a goat cheese, pesto, tomatoe and spinach sandwhich, and the salad was called the "Fruit Loop" and had blueberries, strawberries, peaches, and turkey, with a really tasty poppyseed dressing. I also had their homemade icecream (Blueberry cheesecake flavored with actual blueberries and graham crackers in it) which was amazing. It was a hard choice between that and the bourbon-flavored ice cream..... Also, one of the owners came and greeted us and was really nice, and evidently everything in the restaurant is grown locally, which I believed because everything was very fresh. Overall, one of the best lunches I've had in Lexington. Great food and really nice people. Looking forward to going back.

The restaurant really works to be something special. The staff are friendly and the menu offers some new takes on sandwiches. When we tried the food out, however, it was sadly only mediocre and tasted like sandwiches we could make at home cheaper. I'm hoping the restaurant improves as they refine what works best for them.
(3)Jeff R.
Still fairly new. Decent lunch spot with variety of sandwich options. I believe local sourcing is the move here. I thought the Hot Mama was decent, but needed more chicken. The small portion gets a bit drowned out by the bread (Sunrise? Bluegrass?). Would also like to see more novel options to differentiate place between any other sandwich options. "Roast beef" - made in house or bought from distributor? Not clear. Liquor license forthcoming with Country Boy and West Sixth taps promised...but guy there said Miller Lite too (WTF?). Crank and Boom ice cream offered. Worth return trip as they grow.

My favorite restaurant in Lexington! The food always tastes fresh and I have never been disappointed with what I ordered. whahnderlust.wordpress.c…

The food was great! I had the hot brown sandwich and Cobb salad. Fantastic! The grippos Mac n cheese was way too spicy for my taste. The sweet potato fries were perfect! The dining space is very small. You can hardly make it from the front door to the bar area. The stars go to the food! Not much else was great about this place in my opinion.

The Good: loaded potato Mac and cheese, sandwiches, broccoli casserole. The Bad: serving size is a little small. The Rundown: this is a quaint little place situated in downtown Lex near the courthouse and several other restaurants. Surprisingly at lunch time they weren't slammed. This is not a very flashy place with how they display themselves but don't let that fool you when it comes to the food. Their mac and cheese, we had the loaded potato, had a creamy cheese sauce, thankfully not runny as I have had at other places. The flavor was kind of like combining breakfast potatoes with bacon bits and a rich, creamy cheese sauce, oh and they use shell noodles which are the best. Their smoked chicken sandwich had a really nice flavor and would be something I would get again. The broccoli casserole was sweet, not my thing really, but not bad and seemed very fresh. The salad was just a normal salad, nothing really special about it. My only real complaint is the serving size of the half and half. On a normal lunch day this would not be enough. The Impression: a nice little lunch place if you are in the mood for some lighter fair and don't want Panera. Their mac and cheese is the real thing to come back to this place for, however how many times can you have that per week. This is a place I will visit again as I would like to explore the menu further.

I don't even know where to start except with the avocado fries. Get them. Do not ask questions, just do it. The fries aren't fried and as close to perfection as you can get. I got a sandwich, the Gatewood, and it was too good to be true. Limestone Blue has a mac-n-cheese of the day, Saturday's was Bacon and Beer Cheese. It was also as close to perfection as you can get. There is nothing bad I can say about this place. We were lucky to not have a wait due to a bicycle event that shut down some streets. But apparently, you need to prepare for a long wait time. I promise you that long wait will be worth it.
(5)Anna C.
This is a good spot for vegetarians. Their superfood salad is a kale and balsamic and very tasty. I would deduct a .5 star for the slow service and wifi password didn't work.
(4)Leslie V.
Only come here for lunch but haven't been disappointed yet. The Brie/ bacon / turkey sandwich & broccoli salad are my go-tos. Service was very prompt, as was food prep with 3 other tables of people.
(5)Josh M.
Been here for lunch a couple times. Sandwich I have had both times is very nice. Hot Brown something. Mac an Cheese is good too. Now they could work on the Tea but if I come not on lunch I only need beer. Nice place and nice people. Service has always been on point and fast. jm
(4)Charles B.
Good basic brunch. I had a bacon, egg, sandwich, breakfast potatoes with pico de gallo. Not crowded.
(4)Chandler L.
This place is awesome! I have been here like 4 times in 2 weeks!! The pizza is great, the salad is great, the sandwiches are great. This place is located in downtown Lexington. The atmosphere is great and so is the ambiance. I definitely recommend that you stop by this place and get lunch or dinner.
(5)Emily P.
My husband and I frequent this restaurant and have yet to have a bad meal! Service is good, atmosphere is great, and food is even better! The Mac and cheese of the day is always good, and they take a really creative twist on it, and everything always taste so fresh. Especially the bread they use for the sandwiches... It taste like it literally just came out of the oven.
(5)Tom J.
My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner here. The wait staff was friendly and helpful. Our sandwiches were terrific. When you visit, you must try the avocado fries and the beer cheese mac n cheese with bacon .... OUTSTANDING !!!
(5)Stephanie H.
Looking for a local spot that is delish? This is a must try! Popped in for a Sunday brunch and cannot wait until the next time I am in the Lexington area to go back. The menu was amazing, healthy choices and then there were the Nutella filled pancakes . Enough said. The staff was friendly and service was wonderful!!
(5)Ron B.
The things you hear about Lexington turning into a culinary hotspot are true. Limestone Blue was fine if you're a gluten-consumer. They do have gluten-free bread, but didn't the time I went there and so, it's not a spot to take your celiac friend because there isn't a whole lot for them to eat outside of salad. That said, the service was responsive and good. In general, a good location and a cool spot. I'm told the mac is outstanding and the fried avocado were to die for, too. So in general, absolutely worth your time and reasonably priced too.
(2)Joanna S.
Love the food! Really, great place for lunch or dinner. I'm updating my review and removing a star because they quit using plates and started using these stupid open baskets. You can't cut your sandwich on the baskets and if you get fries for a side they slide out the side and onto the table. The baskets suck - go back to plates! I've been hoping they would go back to plates for a while now, but since they haven't, away my fifth star goes.
(4)Adam B.
The food is pretty good. I've been a few times. Drinks are overpriced, especially now that they raised them a bit. The last time I went, I was with a group. I went early to reserve some tables. I ordered a few minutes before my group showed because I was hungry. My group showed up, talked and ordered shortly after. Not only had they eaten and settled their tabs before I got my food, so had the entire group beside us, who arrived a considerable amount of time after us. Our server never really even acknowledged that we were waiting, they did, however, apologize for not ringing in my drink and attempted take my bill back to get it right. After waiting over an hour, they wanted to adjust my bill to add more. I waited tables in college and couldn't imagine doing that to someone. I doubt I'll go back, not worth the hassle when there is so many other options in the area.
(2)Tony A.
Average on every level, but with so much potential. Environment is unique but not favorable for private conversation since the tables are so close together, and you had better hope you're not seated towards the front entrance... Guests that come in or not greeted with any sort of sign or directives as to whether or not a hostess will seat them, so they usually just stand around right next to your table! The menu itself is loaded with so many delightful ideas, but the food is average. There's no way around it... It is always undercooked, often comes out warm or slightly cold, and is never flavored properly. If you just need a good meal, this is your place. If you want excellence, look elsewhere.
(3)D H.
Nothing but great things to say about this place. In town for the weekend and found this place on yelp. Avocado fries were killer and the pizza was outstanding. Washed it all down with good local beer. I highly recommend it!
(4)Ben S.
I've been a couple times and have enjoyed it decently enough. The first time was to check it out, the other two were for an event and a date as recommended by her. I don't really make an effort to go as there are other options I'd rather try before Limestone Blue. I've had the Club, which wasn't that spectacular...but it was close to their grand opening...but it felt like I was eating more bread than anything else. The second visit was for a social gathering. They had awesome noodles. Enjoyed it, but I wouldn't call it a real shot at trying their food. The sandwiches they had on hand varied, none of them really jumped out. Lastly, had the breakfast sandwich on a Sunday morning. Restaurants and getting things right with me/my family seem to be a running joke, so when my order came out without bacon, it was no big deal. The waitress apologized for the issue, but I wasn't too worried. Manager came over and stated I would be getting 20% off (a $6 check, no biggie, the gesture was welcome). Bill came in and they charged me for the missing item and had the 20% discount. Funny mistake, quickly solved. All in all, food is alright, staff does their job well enough and mistakes were resolved with no real hassle. It's decent and if it speaks to you, enjoy. Just hasn't spoken to me well enough to make it a regular place.

Perhaps the best part of discovering a new option for lunch, dinner, or brunch with really good food, friendly service, reasonable prices, conveniently located and an engaging decor, is that you have many reasons to return--all of them tasty. Such is the case with my latest discovery in downtown Lexington, Limestone Blue. I had heard good things about LB and am pleased to report that those reports are true. I had the Cobb Salad and Raymie Hot Brown Sandwich with a side of BLT Mac 'n' Cheese. For a first time visit, it was a hit on all levels. The Cobb Salad was delicious and you better be hungry--the portion size is more than ample. It is really enough for two people (or one VERY hungry individual). Either one of these selections was more than enough but I was in a sampling mood and as a bonus, now I can enjoy the remaining portions for lunch tomorrow! The Hot Brown was also a great choice and the BLT Mac 'n' Cheese was warm and wonderful. I am looking forward to returning to try other sandwiches and the brunch menu. The server was friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is interesting with the various artwork and the overall experience is not trying to be over the top--and I appreciate that. It was a very enjoyable experience and I recommend that if you in downtown Lexington and want a casual, comfortable, good food experience, Limestone Blue is for you.

Limestone Blue is by far my favorite spot to go eat in Lexington. Sure, Lexington is really building itself up and has tons of cool new places to go try. And some of those places are awesome, and you should check them out too. But, Limestone Blue is my jam. It's the place I go every time I'm in town. It's that good. Their breakfast/brunch is amazing. It's simple, yet smart. I love the southern, home-cooked, Kentucky feel to their food. They have beer cheese, country ham, fried green tomatoes! I simply cannot get enough. And their cocktail menu is great. Good-sized delicious drinks for reasonable prices. Their lunch/dinner menu is just as good. They have pizzas, sandwiches, and an amazing mac & cheese menu that changes daily. The regular menu changes as well, seasonally, which appears to be an attempt to offer the best ingredients and most creative dishes they can put out. And let me tell you, it's working. On top of their amazing menu they also have a great local beer selection on tap and they offer Crank & Boom craft ice cream, another local Lexington gem. I can't speak highly enough of this spot. If you're in the Lexington area, you've gotta try it!
(5)Kelsey S.
Casual atmosphere and great food. Located across the courthouse. The avocado fries are delicious! They also have a variety of other foods including sandwiches and a few different types of Mac and cheese, one of which they make with beer cheese! Beer on tap and bottled. Also sell crank and boom ice cream, which is a plus!
(4)Michelle R.
I have eaten here twice in the last week and a half and have been impressed both times! The 1st visit we sat outside (I love to people watch while eating and where better to so this than downtown Lex). I got the Old Courthouse on the recommendation of the server and it was very good. I had the Mac of the Day with it which was Buffalo Chicken and while I never would have thought of that flavor combo for mac n' cheese, it was delicious. We ended our visit with Crank n' Boom ice cream and the server let us sample both flavors (bourbon and honey and butterscotch) to decide which we wanted. I am not a bourbon fan so we went with the latter and a scoop to share was just the right amount. Today I had one of the sandwiches from the summer menu, country ham with wild fig jam, and it was AMAZING! I don't know when "summer" ends in terms of the menu but I'll go back soon go have that sandwich before it's gone. I tried a different side today with the broccoli salad and it was very good. I liked the mac n' cheese better but I felt a little less guilty eating the broccoli salad! We sat inside today due to the heat and my only complaint about the entire experience is that it is very loud inside and it's hard to have a conversation.
(5)Shyanie K.
Great little lunch place! Had the hot brown with sweet potato fries. The fries are baked here!! So super healthy food. Will be back again!
(4)Olwen C.
I like this place a lot. Great local food. Their beer cheese is the best beer cheese I've ever had. Lots of unique and tasty sandwiches. Good selection of salads. And usually some seasonal or special items too. Everything is priced at $8-9 and you get a good sized portion. One tip: BRING A SWEATER. it's always really cold inside and the AC is loud. On more than one occasion, I was brought out something different than what I ordered, but it looked so delicious anyway that I didn't say anything.
(5)joel w.
Great food and beers section! Trouble with wifi, other than that awesome experience. Friendly attentive staff!!
(4)Peter R.
One of the best lunches I've had in a long time. The couple that runs this place was so kind to me. I had a phenomenal sandwich and salad made from all local, fresh, natural ingredients. I especially liked the bourbon ice cream. I'm still thinking about it almost a week later - YUM!

Quick quiz. Are you a vampire, zombie, or any other being in various states of being undead? Actually, it doesn't matter what your answer is because you're going to want to go down here and shove your face full of things that may or may not be nutritious regardless of what you answered. Ambience? Check. Food? Check. Credit Card Reader? Check. What else could you possibly want? A TV that is big enough to check the game but not big enough to cause a constant distraction? Check. Look, I don't have the best tastes in food. I used to eat things out of boxes and trash bags for years because I was too poor and/or lazy to want to do something as silly as give people my laundry money in return for goods and services. I have come a long way, but don't have the greatest tastes in the entire world, but I can say that this restaurant is worth the time and effort of putting on pants AND zipping up the fly. That's high praise. I got an Achy Breaky Heart sandwich. It had things in it. They were all good. You know sometimes you get red onions and then you get to smell your own breath for the next six hours because said onions were really fresh? That's what's happening to me right now and I don't regret it nor do I care if a really cute girl judges me for my lack of chewing gum and turns me down for drinks. I haven't been on a date in a year and that's not by choice. I'm desperate. Yet, onion breath is TOTALLY worth it. YOLO. Everything tasted fresh and the sandwiches were toasted to perfection. Enough to be satisfyingly crunchy, but without tearing up the inside of your mouth because you are trying to chew through one of those sand paper blocks. Temperature was even throughout all layers of ingredients. Here we get to the most important part of the meal. My side item. They have mac and cheese as a side item! You don't know how much this makes me happy. I'm pretty sure I cried more than I will when I welcome my first born into the world. When I bit into it, I was a little disappointed on only two points. My criteria for mac and cheese easily reach into the two digits at the minimum and slightly higher two digits at the higher end, so two points really isn't a big deal. First, the shells (Yes. I typed shells. No elbow or other random types of pasta that are an affront to the United Nations.) were a little undercooked in my opinion. Second, the cheese wasn't really thick and creamy like some places that you find. It had the consistency of thick tomato soup with a little more thickening agent added. What sort of thickening agent? I'll leave that to your imagination.
(4)Joseph D.
Fresh and flavorful tasting sandwich and salad. I enjoyed the crunch of the ciabatta bread on the Josephine and the blue cheese and avocado on the Cobb.
(5)Megan M.
I went for the first time and got a great Brussel sprout grilled cheese sandwich and Mac n cheese. The menu is well priced and unique - I loved the variety. The only complaint was how long we had to wait for our food.
(4)Jaun F.
I'm happy I came in here today. The mac and cheese was perfect, my sandwich "The Josephine" was great and the avocado fries were awesome!!! The staff was friendly and attentive.
(4)Aly F.
This is my lunch and occasional dinner, go to spot and has been since they opened their doors. The food is consistent in quality. They allow for many variations and customizations to most things on the menu, which keeps it interesting. The avocado fries are a unique find and worth a try. Their made to order pizzas, especially beer cheese and fried green tomato w/ bacon, are fantastic. The service is always fast and friendly and they remember their regulars and orders. The beer taps serving local and a few regular drafts and wine make a nice touch.
(5)Sarah V.
Meet the new sandwich place, same as the old sandwich place. J/k, I just find it funny that Giacomo's was in the same spot and it closed down, only to be replaced with another sandwich shop. I think Limestone Blue is a better deal though, because when I'd spend $8 at Giacomo's all I would get out of it was a sandwich, while Limestone Blue gives you a good-sized sandwich and a nice side. I had the Old Courtyard sandwich and broccoli salad. My food was decently tasty, though the sandwich was dry. It had pimiento cheese, country ham, and tomato on white bread. It actually tasted like sourdough bread, which was good. If Limestone Blue got into making their own dressings for sandwiches, I bet my review would go up a star. Seriously, even just mayonnaise would help. The broccoli salad had larger chunks of broccoli than I expected; they should chop it more finely so you get more than just a giant chunk of broccoli when you take a bite. It had liberal amounts of bacon in it, which would be fine if the bacon was more finely chopped, too. I am so glad I didn't get the superfood salad they offered. Another girl in my group got it and it was basically a mountain of kale with some very vinegary dressing. It was supposed to have feta and quinoa, but the amount of feta we saw in her salad looked like maybe they waved some feta at the salad from across the room and called it good enough. Most everything seemed to have cheese or bacon in it, making it tricky for the vegan in our group. The chef made a special veggie wrap for him, which was nice. The guy in my group said he would have preferred it to be hot. He was unable to get a side other than chips. Service was fine, and actually all the staff seemed friendly, saying hi to us and thanking us for coming. I would definitely eat here again because they had some interesting sandwiches that I'd like to try. They have fried avocado slices with some kind of sauce for dipping that was pretty tasty, and you don't often see fried avocado. I'm also intrigued by their macaroni and cheese of the day, but don't be fooled: it was actually shells and cheese when a guy in our group ordered it.
(3)Chris R.
First time in over a decade being in Lexington and found this place via Yelp. Got the Frisco and avocado fries, carryout. Staff was friendly. Food was fresh, and very good. I'm an almost daily avocado eater so to have this take on them was really great. If we were here for longer would definitely stop back.
(4)Creamy P.
This gets a resounding "meh". I ordered the club sandwich, which is hard to mess up. We ordered French fries as an appetizer and they were - honest to God - frozen Ore-Ida fries that had been baked. I've eaten more than my fair share of Ore-Ida fries in my day, and that's exactly what these were. The $4.00 I spent on these fries could have bought me two whole bags of them at the grocery! I might try it again, but... I mean seriously. Frozen grocery fries!
(2)Melanie M.
ate here for lunch. pretty crowded but has a cool ambiance with the art and the brick walls. awesome service, definitely try the beer cheese fries!
(4)Lorey F.
Visiting Lexington from NYC for the weekend - looking for a local, fresh brunch place - this is it. From the reviews, lots of mentions for lunch and dinner, but very little in way of brunch. You're missing out.
(4)Heather P.
After a few more visits, I became a bit bored with the menu. Sandwiches, salads, Mac and cheese and cheese fries... Not much else. Granted, each named category has a variety of options, nothing seemed to appeal to me after a few visits. I finally met the female owner who seemed a bit shy until a table of people she knew stopped in, she and everyone else focused on them and service went downhill from there on that visit. I decided to give it one last chance last night. Thirty minutes after my arrival, I was finally given the opportunity to order. An hour later I still hadn't received my cheese fries or sandwich, or an acknowledgement as to why the wait. The deciding factor to leaving before I received my food and updating my five star review, was that they were out of hand soap in the bathroom. When I mentioned it when I got back to my table, I was told that someone brought that to the waitresses attention an hour before.... yuck. This place is tiny, literally less than 15 tables, so there really is no reason that they shouldn't be able to stock bathroom supplies or for food to arrive in a timely fashion. I'll leave one extra star because they still offer happy hour and that rocks.
(2)Nolan J.
Only went here for lunch, fun atmosphere and a nice lunch and brunch menu. Highly recommended, it was great hangover food too. Go here.
(5)Alex S.
Delightful sandwiches, my first time here and they definitely delivered, had the hot mama as a recommendation from the waitress and tried their fried green tomatoes, they knocked it out of the park! If you're a fan of blue moon, try the manmosa, cougar bait and orange juice. A perfect little place for a great meal. With a wide selection of sandwiches and beer, you can't go wrong!
(5)Matthew K.
First time I went to this place I went on a cheese overload. We had the beer cheese fries, a Mojo Beer Cheese Sandwich and Grippos Macaroni and Cheese. While looking back, I probably shouldn't have had so much cheese but it was so delicious. The fact beer cheese is becoming a Kentucky staple makes me happy because this place has a really good beer cheese. The nachos had a really good BBQ sauce with black beans and of course beer cheese. Even better, at around 5-6pm on Friday evening they were half off. Not sure if it was happy hour or something but I won't complain. My wife has had the avocado fries and says they are delicious as well and I look forward to trying them. There's quite a selection of sandwiches and all are reasonably priced as well. The atmosphere is nice and its located downtown for easy access to other places as well.
(5)Kate A.
Come for the avocado fries (actually baked not fried) and stay for the pitchers of local beer, wine on tap (what????) and Mac and cheese. Small, friendly restaurant with trendy decor and friendly staff. Food consists mostly of gourmet sandwiches ($9ish range) and Mac and cheese of the day. Local beers available and great seasonal dishes. Can't wait to go back/ next time I'm doing the beer cheese fries.
(5)Jesse R.
Great brunch on the weekends and amazing pizza at night. The sandwiches are all very unique as we with a few tweaks of existing staples of the type. They have a decent beer selection and have a few wines as well. The place is top notch and a welcome addition to downtown.
(4)Nick B.
Good atmosphere, excellent salads and sandwiches! All indigents are local and they carry beer from the local breweries. Only negative thing about the place is it's always very cold inside.
(5)Elvin H.
Quaint sandwich shop in Downtown Lexington. Seems to be local ingredients and locally sourced food. They feature a Mac & cheese special daily. The pasta was more al dente than I prefer. The mixture of cheeses was unique. My partner did not enjoy it as much as I did. The service was good, and I can't find any fault with food or service. At the same time, I couldn't find anything great about it. I couldn't tell what the point of the restaurant is. I'd like to see servers provide some information about the restaurant. Perhaps ask if we've been there before. Provide some vehicle for guests to learn more. There really is no dining room presence other than for refills. Some local restaurants have someone visit tables, and Limestone Blue could benefit from it.
(3)Chelsea L.
Finally a place where you can sit down and get delicious AND healthy food! I was starting to get discouraged as restaurant after restaurant in Lexington filled their menus with fried this, or grease covered that. Limestone Blue has delicious and fresh wraps, sandwiches, and dips with the little bit of indulgences one needs (a small cup of Mac and cheese please!). I always eat here and leave feeling satisfied and the artwork is a great detail as well! My go-to place when I need to introduce out-of-towners to Lexington!
(5)Mindy R.
Limestone Blue is a new fav! It's a no fuss, great sandwich shop. My favorites include: beer cheese pizza, Mojo beer cheese sandwich, brunch-egg in a hole and the Steve Cristo, and the brie appetizer. My only issue is ...one if the features of Limestone Blue is the daily special Mac-n-cheese and I'm have not been impressed with any of the options. The shells get really dried up and cold quickly. The buffalo version is personably my favorite. This makes me sad because there's so much potential but poorly executed. THAT however does not keep me from going to LB. There are a handful of local beers on tap and the pitchers are around $10-12. They have Wine on tap too and it's decent! My favorite is to come here for brunch on Saturdays! Great mimosa specials too! ($4)
(4)Rose B.
The happy hour is a great time to try their delicious appetizers like the beer cheese fries and avocado fries! Portions are very generous and there's always a yummy daily special. It wasn't as busy as I had expected which was good because it's a small space. I think it has a great vibe for a casual evening out with friends.
(4)Brandy W.
This is one of the best new restaurants I've tried since moving here two years ago. Everyone ordered something different and we all loved our food. The Grippo Mac and cheese was amazing! Cheese pizza, beer cheese sandwich, salads...so good I can't wait to go back! Only downfall is it is pretty small, if more people find out about this place there will definitely be a long wait.
(4)Halide T.
My new favorite for Sunday brunch!!! They have a diverse brunch/lunch menu. I have yet to try their brunch drinks but I have only heard good things about them. So far, we haven't had problems getting a table on Sundays.Service has been on the point - not too much or too little attention.. I enjoy the minimalist, cozy atmosphere. They got beer and wine on the tap in addition to bottles/cans of beer.. With two large TVs around, I could see this place being a good place to watch a game. What else can I say?! I love this place and it's as simple as that!!!
(4)Alex J H.
Pretty awesome place. The avocado fries are a must if you come here. The vibe is pretty chill and the decorations from local artists make it even better. I liked the fact that they sell Victoria beer which is a little hard to find around the area! Definitely will come back
(5)Lynn L.
Absolutely delectable! I can't wait to go back. Get the avocado fries. But everything is amazing; seriously delicious food.
(5)Matthew G.
Stopped here based on a review on Movoto and fellow Yelpers. We were the only customers on a late Friday afternoon. Finding street parking at this time was not a problem. A place like this belongs in every small city with a college in it. Local (I'm guessing; there was no signage) artwork hangs on the wall. An eclectic mix of music fills the air. Unique wooden tables hover over wooden banquets and funky blue plastic chairs. It has a definite un-corporate feel to it. The bar was closed at the time we ate there, so I can't comment on their selection of spirits and such. No soup the day we came which was a bit of a bummer. The price of a sandwich includes a side, which was nice. They serve appetizers if you are extra hungry or are there to nibble and chat. I ordered the Mojo Beer Cheese sandwich. It had a savory flavor. The cheese had a good flavor and complimented the tender meat. It was a great portion for lunch. I chose the mac n' cheese of the day (Grippo, I think), named after a local brand of potato chip. The flavor was simultaneously spicy and creamy. They used shells for the noodle. I felt the sauce was too runny for a mac n' cheese. My wife ordered the Anthony. This consisted of vegetables and hummus wrapped in a vegetable or spinach tortilla. Normally I order meatless. When I saw this I rolled my and thought, "Just another veggie wrap." Personally I didn't like the flavor. It had a bitter flavor from the olives, hummus, and leafy greens. The soft and crunchy textures didn't do it for me. My wife, however, liked it. She thought the hummus was tasty and enjoyed the flavor the olives brought to the palate. She ordered the broccoli salad for her side. We both thought this was excellent. The nuts and broccoli give it a nice crunch. The sauce, broccoli, nuts, and raisins (and bacon?) all went well together. A definite winner. Our server was prompt and friendly. She offered suggestions on what to order, which we appreciated. My mother-in-law can take a while to order. The server was patient with a smile! There is one unisex bathroom here. It was clean and stocked. There was a tchotchke shelf next to the door. There is an Xleroter hand dryer hung in the shallow shelves. Neat idea! If I lived in Lexington, I could see myself putting this place on my regular rotation. It was a little out of the way if you are passing through but worth the visit of you are in the area.

I love their food. Everything I've tried is good. Too bad their service is terrible. I don't think I'll be going back.
