Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I think your experience here depends largely on what dish you order. Some are just adequate, but I've found several dishes that are really excellent. There are some vegetarian dishes that taste amazing: my favorites are the general tso's potato and any of the "kachi" (soy-based imitation chicken) dishes. The owner is also very nice. I've had stuff here I wasn't really thrilled with, but the experience of the better dishes makes experimenting worthwhile.

Ordered from here because Asian Cafe couldn't deliver yesterday and to say it was bad is an understatement. The only decent item was the chicken in the sweet and sour chicken. Crab Rangoon, egg rolls, and chicken on a stick was absolutely terrible. Not to mention the price was about $8-$10 more than Asian Cafe. I will never eat here again. It was really really bad.

This is a convenient neighborhood Chinese restaurant with standard menu but not a great quality. I have been here several times. Customer service is always good. However, it doesn't make up for the lack of quality in food. I have tried this place several items and mostly, I tell myself to order something else next time. If it wasn't for the fact that it's so close to my apartment, I wouldn't have tried this place so many times.

If you're looking for great Chinese take-out at a reasonable price, then Jin-Jin is for you! This is by far my favorite Chinese take out in Lexington (and that's saying something because I've ate at a lot). I ordered the seafood delight and fried dumplings for delivery and it came in a timely manner. I was surprised at the portion size as well! It was mighty tasty to boot. The owner also runs Hunan which is a more traditional/sit-down Chinese restaurant which I also highly recommend, if that's what you're looking for.

The food is very low quality and the management is offensive and rude to customers. Never eating here again.

Says they're open til 11 on sundays, but they're not, nothing worse than wrong hours listed

Priced to make a 'killing'. Low quality/quantity food for double the price of other restaurants. Want good chinese? go to Mandarin. That's the best I've had in Lexington so far. Order was for delivery. Came in a timely manner. Was shocked at how little food you get for your money. I think the microwavable container costs more than the food itself. I had curry chicken and white rice. There were 3 thinly sliced pieces of chicken, a few thinly sliced carrots and loads of big chunks of bell pepper. Needs to be renamed Curry Bell Pepper. Was expecting those good old fashion paper boxes, instead got the equivalent of a frozen single serving healthy choice meal in a microwavable container - Like there is going to be leftovers?! LOL Also, what kind of Chinese food is this? the sauce tasted a bit sweet, I ordered spicey and there was no hint of heat. Sorry, used to Chinese Food from San Francisco, Jin Jin doesn't even come close to quality authentic Chinese.

It's a decent Chinese place - nothing special or outstanding, but a good standby when you're looking for delivery and something reliable. It's not as greasy as other Chinese delivery, and the crab rangoon is a favorite of mine. It also helps that it's less than 5 minutes from where we live.

I absolutely love this restaurant. We have been ordering from this place for quite some time now, and their service is truly excellent. The the food is usually very good, and arrives quickly with little/no hassle. Their prices are reasonable (usually about $18-$20) for dinner for two. They also have a wonderful website which you can place your order on. It's great!

We ordered: Crab Rangoon, egg rolls, general tso's chicken, and vegetable lo mein. Everything was under par. The egg rolls tasted like they were store bought and frozen. The crab Rangoon had literally no filling. It was a joke. The chicken had ok flavor but the actual chicken was fatty. There was too much batter and not enough chicken. The lo mein was pretty good. But I have had much better. Overall very disappointed. I don't know why it's so hard to find a good Chinese place in lexington. This is the 3rd place we've tried. I won't go here again.

When I used to live over on Alumni Drive, I ate from Jin Jin quite a lot. Their prices are very cheap and they give you a TON of food. The "medium" size is well more than enough for a single person. Everything is prepared really quick and the taste of the food has always been consistent and delicious. I have yet to find a Chicken with Snow Peas dish that I like more than theirs. The store itself is small, so it caters more to take-out of delivery, but if you are already there and have nowhere to go they have a couple of tables to sit at.

I found this little place last year when I visited my Dad. We ordered take out and it was some of the best Won-Ton soup I'd ever had. Just returned from another trip home. Tried to order on line for pick up - and they wanted to charge me a TIP on the on line order form. Tax + a TIP. This was (is) outrageous. My Dad and I called it in and picked it up. While there, I ask the lady about the TIP on the on line order - she pretending to know nothing about it. If they hired someone to maintain their web site - maybe they should have inspected it before going live to the public. Charging a TIP for an on line order is ludicrous. This time, the won-ton soup was waaaaaaaay too salty. The other food - chicken with veggies and shrimp with veggies, white rice and fried rice, was fine. No complaints there. I would recommend this place for quick Chinese - don't expect anything superb - but it works for me. JIN JIN - Use less salt in the won-ton soup - and PLEASE fix the problem with the TIP for ordering on line.

Great food, and if you order on a weekday you can expect your delivery to be there in less than 30 minutes. They are really fast! Huge portions will give you tonight''s dinner and tomorrow's lunch.

Delicious Chinese cuisine! However, all of the dishes I ordered contained WAY too many onions.

We ordered online for delivery and it was easy to do, reasonably priced, and extremely fast (less than 25 minutes from ordering). The food was hot. We ordered medium sizes of items and there was plenty of food. The crab rangoon had good filing. The sesame chicken was really good, but spicier than other places you may have had. The chicken lo mein had good quality chicken and is enough for a stand alone meal. Overall, we were happy with this place and would order from them again.

Quick, good size portions for the $. Best for carryout/delivery. Quality of various dishes Ive tried have all been good.
(4)David D.
Had the triple delight and it was good. I stayed at a local hotel and they delivered it fast and hot! Just know they are going to charge a $1 gas fee an if you pay by credit card an additional fee under $1.

Incredible, fast delivery.
