Service: 4.5/5 stars. Seated promptly Saturday around 8:40am. Pleasant, friendly and prompt service from our server, Jillian. Food delivered within 10 minutes. The only minor "kink" is we were not asked if we wanted the toast buttered: the default option is buttered, which seems counter to the overall notion of a healthy menu. But Jillian was attentive in all other aspects. Food: 4/4.5 stars. Even though its main competitor, Wild Eggs, may have more egg and crepe dishes, First Watch has more healthy choices (lower calorie, lower carb breakfast and salad choices) and at a slightly lower prices in some breakfast place. You definitely get more food at Wild Eggs but the portion at First Watch is large enough not to leave hungry and not too overstuffed. This location has much better cooking and service than the location on Broadway. We are glad we tried it, despite our repeated disappointments at the Broadway location. It is a good alternative to Wild Eggs, at least for us. Now, if only someone could get the words to the President of the First Watch, please ask him/her to ask the manager at the Broadway location to copy what the manager here has done, or find another job.

Well let me just say this visit was not planned. We stopped in a few weeks ago on a Sunday right before looking for homes to move to. We stopped in right after church which was our mistake. The wait was 23 minutes and was told 15-30. No issues there. The hostess was very nice and attentive. We got seated at a nice high top. We started to have an issue. No server for 11 minutes after being seated. That was frustrating. No one checked on us even though a waiter was serving a table right next to us in a different section. We got our order in and the server once she arrived was wonderful and friendly. This being our first time there we knew nothing of the menu or food we were about to get. I ordered the special of I think California Benedict. My gorgeous wife had an omelet. Now we waited 39 minutes from the time of the order to the food arriving at the table. I would have probably been ok accept my eggs B was served with a salad that had dressing all of the plate. I am not sure if you know what happens when you take a vinegrette and match it with the Benedict sauce. The taste honestly not pleasant. On their own, two separate dishes, they were delicious. I would have loved it if served on different plates. Now reading this you are probably like why is it five stars. Well lets just say I do not have a poker face. The Manager who was working his ass off stopped what he was doing to see what we needed and what he could do to help. I honestly was not very pleasant to him and I apologize for that. He handled it AWESOME. He was a true professional, explained everything and understood my side. I was shocked. I have been reviewing places for years and this was the first time EVER that a manager took care of me ON THE SPOT with out me having to say a word. With everything that happened, I will go back to this location. Even after all of this issues with the meal I actually walked away happy I spent 1 hr and 26 minutes in a location for breakfast. Thank you First Watch.

We used to like this place, when they first came to Lexington, but the last few times we've been here has been a bigger disappointment than the last one. Now, I don't think we'll be back. The bacon, avocado, tomato hash has been a favorite but the avocado was so brown and gross. It actually looked like the hash was made WAY in advance and when you order your egg, that's made fresh and put on top of an old hash. It was barely edible. Our waitress was either new or just bad. We both ordered the same hash and no mention was made of a choice of toast or muffin or anything so we assumed it didn't come with it. After she came out to bring us our drinks, I asked if we could order a side of sourdough toast to have with our meal. Still no mention of bread with our hash. When our food came out, there was an English Muffin on each of our plates and the extra toast as well. So we had plenty of bread. Husband was pretty miffed because he said he would have asked for a regular muffin with his, if he had known. But we didn't get charged for the extra toast so I just left it at that. Yeah, we won't be coming back, no matter how many "free entree w/ purchase of another entree" coupons you throw at me. :-/

Great food and excellent service! The restaurant was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the menu contained a wide variety of breakfast choices. Definitely a must stop, will go back!

This location is one of three in Lexington. This one is just off of the interstate and near Hamburg Shopping Center. So, it's pretty convenient. They are only open for breakfast and lunch. I've only eaten here once during breakfast, so I can't speak about the lunch options. Like most other chain restaurants, it's almost impossible to earn a five star rating from me. It's very similar to Wild Eggs, which will have a Hamburg location opening soon. I think that the entire menu is a bit on the healthy side. So, if you're looking for a greasy spoon, southern cooking breakfast, this isn't your place. I ordered the Trifecta, which came with three eggs of my choice, a waffle or pancake and my choice of sausage. I ordered my eggs over medium, but they came out slightly browned and too cooked for my liking. I chose the Belgian Waffle and it came out with a tasty powdered sugar and a scoop of butter. I chose turkey sausage and the order consisted of two small links. The waitress was nice and tentative. So overall, the service, convenient locale and the waffle earned my three stars.

After seeing this restaurant on Yelp, I decided to give it a try. Great choice!! I had the scrambled eggs with spinach, cheese, Holladay sauce, but omitted the ham. It came with home fries and fresh fruit. This was EXCELLENT! Good sized portions too for under $10. Thanks Yelp reviewers, it was a wonderful choice.

My favorite spot for breakfast. I'm gluten and dairy-free so it's nice to have hearty options other than biscuits and pancakes (which I can't have!) and omelets (I can make at home).

The coffee is sooo good. Oh yeah, the food is pretty awesome too. Lots of unique choices. If you get a pancake for your kid you better have two to share it. It's huge.

Wow, it's good every time. I have been here several times and the food is always fresh and tasty. There is a good selection of things to choose from. It's a diner so it's casual, but on Sunday morning expect people in their church clothes and a bit of a wait. I will definitely return.

Certainly better than the Richmond road location as far as ease of access and parking. The staff here seems to be slightly better trained as well. The food, upscale Denny's esque. Nothing more to be expected from a chain really. The facility is nice and new. Easy access to Winchester road and I75.

Placed a take out order upon returning home found order to be incorrect. Called to rectify the situation, drove back over and order was still incorrect. Manager was not willing to hear the reason the order was incorrect so I left. I WILL NOT RETURN And will tell everyone that I know in Lexington of my experience with this establishment.

I'm a big fan of first watch but was really disappointed when my breakfast dish was very skimpy, like they ran out or were trying to cut corners. I got really ripped off.

Besides the obvious I woke up sure of only two things. I wanted breakfast and I did not want to cook it. So I've been searching the Yelp community. I narrowed it down to the waffle house and First Watch Café. With no disrespect to waffle house I just didn't want any food that I could potentially cook myself and probably make it better. So basically I'm at the First Watch Café. The place was very quiet and ecliptic to say the least. Very welcoming staff at the counter very impressive the decor. Displaces very inviting if that make any sense. I could literally hang out here and not feel unwelcome. I was seated with the menu and coffee. My only negative was that I wasn't asked if I wanted decaf or caffeinated coffee. No biggie I was a little tired so I decided to keep caffeinated anyway. Keep in mind the only information I had on this place was based on reviews and pictures from yelp. So not all the pictures from the yelp reviews I could immediately translate to a menu item. So it took me a little longer to actually order my food. I originally ordered the raisin French toast. With eggs and Turkey sausage. However the way I order them individually my meal would've literally cost me 17 bucks. The waitress suggested that I ordered the trifecta. Which in turn save me a few bucks in the long run. I've never really had raisin French toast but it was really tasty. And it also came with a side of blueberry sauce that was outstanding. The cheese eggs was cooked perfectly as well as the turkey sausage. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is seeking to step outside the box with breakfast. I'm not a big fan of avocados and quite a few of the menu dishes actually contain avocado. Not a fan but that's just me I'm a picky eater. if you have a free morning or you don't want to pick up breakfast in a bag this place is definitely a place I would explore

Went of a Sunday around 10:30am, and didn't have to wait at all. The place was fairly busy, so maybe we just go lucky. Our food was excellent, and the restaurant is very nice for breakfast. Had the Swissroom omelette, and my wife had the fruit crepes. Pouring your own water out of an old glass milk jug is a nice touch. Lots of food, service was good, and the prices weren't bad. Will definitely go back.

I've been to the other Lexington locations tons of times but this was my first visit to this particular location. It was basically the same experience I get every time I visit a First Watch. I'm always satisfied and I feel that you get a lot of food for the money you spend. I also love that they incorporate healthy ingredients into so many of their dishes. It's easy to find lots of dishes that include spinach, avocado, turkey, etc. I had the chickichanga which is a lightly friend burrito filled with chicken, chorizo, cheese, onions, green chilis and avocado. It's really delicious. I would recommend pretty much all of the items I have ordered at First Watch.

This is a newer location in Lexington that strives to bring you a great morning experience that is known across the board for First Watch. This regional breakfast joint doesn't disappoint. Let me give you three reasons why. 1. Generally, it's not going to be packed unless you got a holiday jamboree going on. The hours are limited, I think 7am to 2:30pm, so you've got the prime brunch time to delight. On my visit, the crowd was sparse in the AM. I got to sit outside and take in the sounds (unfortunately it's kind of loud near Winchester Rd.). 2. Consistency. I've been to a few different First Watch locations and this locale meets and somewhat exceeds the expectation. I've never been wowed by a breakfast place, but this time I was fairly comfortable. I knew the food would be on point! 3. The laid-back crew. Breakfast can be a very sterile experience. I mean come on... those eggs and meats have to be cooked right. That doesn't, however, have to spill into service. These folks were warm, inviting, and accommodating. I've always considered that a delicacy in itself. Will your socks be knocked off at First Watch? I don't know. Hopefully you're still in your pajamas when you go, so you can partake in a true breakfast experience. Maybe you won't even be wearing socks. You'll be that comfortable.

My husband and I have visited twice and were impressed both times. Most recently, we had brunch on the patio. It wasn't very crowded and the service was a little slow, but we weren't in a hurry, so it was okay. I ate the crab cakes Benedict from the seasonal menu, and it was a home run! Their were two crab cakes that were full of actual crab, without fillers. It was on a toasted bun with roasted tomatoes, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce with lemon-dressed greens on the side. I wish there were a few more tomatoes and a little more lemon dressing, but it still left me with a wonderful impression. My husband got the trifecta, which he said was good. The first time, I got the blueberry pancakes which were fluffy and with plenty of real blueberries. My husband had one of the hashes, which was also good. Everything we have eaten was above average. It is higher than I usually want to pay for breakfast, but great on occasion. It's a nice addition to the Hamburg area.

Went in by myself on a Saturday around noon and ordered their veggie burger - rare find in this area; so kudos for having it. Great menu, service, food presentation and portions... but dry and tasteless patty. Hopefully they can figure out the right flavors and condiments. Coffee felt overpriced. Might go back to try regular breakfast items.

Fairly unique menu and everything was delicious! Will return! Sweet waitress as well.

One of my favorite restaurants for breakfasts and lunch/brunch! My all time favorite item on the menu is the Multi-grain pancakes! You can add things like bananas, granola, and even chocolate chips into them! Yummm! The coffee is amazing and they even have coffee mate flavored creamers (Hazelnut or Vanilla). No matter which first Watch I have been to (Florida Locations also) the service is always on top of there toes and the locations are always spotless! The only downside is they close at 2:30.
