This place is hard to rate because it is so darn cheap, even if the food was horrible, it's still about the same price as a fast food meal... but Cici's is endless. Every few months they run a special for like $5.55 per buffet! I noticed that the "happy hour" buffet between 2-4pm is $2.99! How in the world can they stay in business with prices so low?! I think I ate $2.99 worth in mushrooms alone. I'm not a big pizza fan, so I mostly tag along for the salad and the gooey cinnamon rolls. I do occasionally try a specialty pizza like buffalo chicken or BBQ chicken. Tonight, I requested a BBQ chicken pizza and they gave me a number and then brought an entire pizza to my table, I immediately felt 10 pounds fatter and like people were starring. I only ate two pieces and then felt wasteful, so I begged for a to go box... well they don't allow that of course. But I scored one. DO NOT try that and say that you heard it on Yelp! I honestly couldn't eat an entire pizza and didn't know that they would bring out an entire one. The lettuce on the bar was practically empty and I felt too guilty to scoop up the last bit, so I didn't get much and loaded up on the mushrooms and broccoli and sunflower seeds. This is going to sound horrible, but what I don't like most about this place are the patrons. They're loud and rude... like they don't get out much. Kids screaming and running back and forth from the table to the arcade room. The pizza seems to put the parents into food commas and they seem oblivious to the fact that they are in public.

A sub-par CiCi's location. It's a cheap pizza buffet. Every CiCi's is, but this one managed to be worse than most. I didn't go in expecting first-class dining, but what I expected was cheap and plentiful mediocre pizza, quickly available. I didn't get that, the "plentiful" and "quickly available" parts at least. I was there at 1 PM on a weekday, the middle of lunch. The pasta in the steam trays was near-empty, and I emptied it, and they never refilled it. The big long buffet line of pizzas? It was mostly empty, they had about a half-dozen pizzas there, pretty much all basic sausage, pepperoni or plain cheese, and they were slow to keep them replaced when one was eaten. At one point a specialty pizza came out of the oven and I went over to it, I thought it would break the monotony. . .but that was apparently special ordered by a table and wasn't for the buffet, even though they sat it on the buffet while they waited for an employee to carry it out to them (and they had to shoo away multiple customers who wanted to try it). No, they didn't fix one and put it on the buffet either. I walked in and the place was near-empty, and I still had to wait a couple of minutes at the register for service. I've been to a CiCi's before, I knew what to expect, this was below the standards. It was still edible, but it was sub-par even for the lowered expectations.

HOLY CHIT! This pizza is AMAZILICIOUS! Growing up in California, I always had seen a branch of this place in my city, but I thought it was a place similar to Dominoes. You get your chit and get out. Nope! It is more of an arcade themed sit down pizza place. What drew me here was the $5 buffet and WOW, I felt like I actually received more than I paid for. Each slice, they do not skimp on the pizza nor quality, is melt-in-mouth and the crust is flaky. None of that hard chewy crust or thin break-a-tooth crust. They also have a small salad bar with two salads: the original and a macaroni salad. The macaroni was good. I cannot really say much about the other salad because it is really based on how you choose to top it and really, it is just a bunch of cut up vegetables. The only con with this place was the stickiness. I actually sat in the kid section (they have both a kids and an adult section) and everything was sticky. The chair was sticky, when I pulled it from under the table to sit and the table top was sticky. The bathroom was not really clean either; even though, I just used it to wash my hands before eating. I am not saying it has to be five star; but if I were not very hungry, I probably would have lost my appetite. All in all, I downed pieces from twelve differently topped pizzas (they keep replenishing the pizzas after you finish a complete one) and they are all different. They even have cheesy bread, bread sticks, and a brownie. Look carefully, as you may miss it through the whole pizza gauntlet. I would think most pizza places would just have like three different kinds to save on money because of the buffet, but this place DOES NOT skimp. The buffet IS a buffet. $5.82 for all of that. It's like getting a large and a half for $5.82. Beats Little Caesars $5 deal.

Lots of value here. The quality isn't so great, but when you're super duper hungry and a college student, hunger greatly outweighs palate. That said, they do have a large salad bar (didn't use it, salad blows), a pasta station (meh... not enough meat), a large pizza buffet and a couple dessert items. Let's address the pizza. It's not great, but it's certainly better than frozen pizza or gas station pizza or (and I'll go out on a limb here) stadium pizza. They try to change things up with cheeseburger pizza, taco pizza, mac and cheese pizza, Hawaiian pizza, and the standards. Now for dessert. Their dessert is actually quite good. The brownies are a little meh, and the dessert pizza is a little weird. I think it might be some type of custard thing. But the cinnamon rolls are awesome, especially when they pull out a fresh batch. They fall apart easily and are sweet and cinnamony. By far the best thing they serve. But for five bucks (this college student didn't want to pay extra for a drink), who cares? Five dollar meals are few and far between nowadays, and Cici's could be a whole lot worse. When I get to stack my plate super high with pizza, it's awesome. When I get to stack my plate super high as many times as I like, I'm happy. Throw in the video game room, and you're just about begging college students to go there.

Let's be honest here. It's Cici's. The food is good but it's a buffet that you can get into for under 7 dollars with drink. It's a quick and good lunch destination. Lots of variety of pizzas to choose from. Salad bar and desserts. The cinnamon pizza is really good.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations.
