Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I know this is not my first time going to any Chipotle. I had another review on here for the Richmond Rd. one, but I guess it was removed. Anywho, so I go there today, on Sunday. No one there. Awesome! Then I decide to get two chicken soft tacos with the works, minus some of the works. It ended up coming out to $5.09. Since I was on a tight budget and will be for the next couple of days, once I pay my bills off and I can back enough $ to get a nice little buffer, I will say that this place was just what was needed.

Chipotle has great food. This poor review is for service. Most of the time we order online to pick up. This location has never had the food ready when I arrived. Each time they start on the order when I tell them I am there. This defeats the purpose of ordering online. Literally has never been ready. NEVER. The location on Richmond Road is spot on each time we order. It is unfortunate that I have to pick one spot over the other due to poor service.

The food and service was good here. Stopped by on my way thru during a road trip. I thought the service was fast and correct and my food tasted delicious. The only blemish would have to have been that a companion of mine had marker on their burrito where the foil should have covered tortilla. Still think chips and salsa should be free like at Moe's. Oh and one of their coke dispensers was pure soda water

Love Chipotle! This location is always on point. We often use the app to order for everyone at work. Even with up to 15 people ordering they have never skimped on toppings or messed an order up. Everything is always fresh as well. They are always friendly and the place is always clean.

My lady hooked me up. I wanted more beans, no prob. More veggies, no prob. Sweet. I was feeling super sick that day so can't really attest to the food. I definitely was sick before coming here though. Pretty standard Chipotle, they're all the same. Don't pass up on the multiple flavors of Tabasco sauce, that's pretty sweet.

I have visited this restaurant twice now. The food is great & the atmosphere was family friendly. There was nothing too unique about this site. This site can get really busy so visit before 5 pm and you'll be glad you did. Is Chipotle a chain of McDonalds or is that just a rumor I heard once?

Let me begin by saying my wife has a very serious gluten allergy and chipotle is usually very good with accommodating to her specific needs. Tonight we came in and they had no fresh container of cheese to grab from for my wife's tacos (cross contamination sucks). After making it through the line we sat down and were soon approached by an employee letting us know they were going to shred some cheese fresh for us. And about 2-3 minutes later they brought her a side of fresh cheese. AWESOME SERVICE!

Several Health Dept violations were witnessed. I use to visit this location once per week but I have not returned since I witnessed the following; I entered the restaurant for a 2:30 late lunch & decided to head to the restroom before I placed my order. Upon finishing business I realized there was no hot or warm water. This is disturbing because most employees will just forgo the handwasing & return to work. So I walked up to the counter to place my order & to enquire about the lack of hot water & that's when I saw a female employee attempting to cut open a brown 12" cubed box with the knife. The same knife that they use to dice the grilled chicken. The box was sitting on top of the counter where they prepare all of the customers order. To top it off, another young employee was standing over the grill cooking chicken while eating chips from a bag. The chips were spilling onto the grilling chicken. I informed the female manager of what I had seen (she defended their actions) & then I exited the restaurant (without ordering any food) & placed a call into the Fayette Cnty Health Dept. They sent an inspector out later that day. Needless to say I will not be returning to this location & I now travel to the Richmond Rd restaurant to get my fix.

The burritos are very sizable and will fill you up. The menu is extremely simple -- you can get a burrito, a burrito bowl, or hard or soft tacos. The main ingredients are either steak, chicken, barbacoa, or veggie. You have four different types of salsa to choose from, as well as cheese, guacamole, etc.

I'll start by saying my one-star review isn't based on the food or service at all. This review is based solely on how I saw a manager treat an employee on 5/20/13. I'm going to assume this manager was probably in his early 20's and it is probably his first manager position because he was constantly on this one particular employee's back the entire time I was there. The manager was sitting at the table next to me taking his lunch break with another employee and kept calling this particular employee over several times and pointing out things he needed to do. What was most annoying was the manager kept yelling across the restaurant to get the employee's attention. It wasn't even that the employee was doing a bad job that I could make out. For example, he had this employee go pick up the one lone basket on top of the garbage. It was his tone that unnerved me; he wasn't asking nicely, he was telling him what to do. Then, the employee emptied the trash while he was over there. The manager then yelled for him to come back over and proceeded to show him that the knot to the trash can goes in the back, not in the front. At this point, I really had a hard time holding my tongue. Maybe I don't know the full story, and maybe I was the only one hearing this or paying attention to these shenanigans but it soured my experience. I'm glad that guy isn't my boss, I would've quit a long time ago or would've been fired. Most likely the latter...

I don't go here much, but this trip I had great service from the staff and will be one of the reason I come back sooner. Good work on this day

I agree with a previous reviewer that this location seems to have perpetual issues. I get take-out from this location a lot because it's close to home. The dining room is usually so loud and chaotic that I would rather get my food to-go and eat in peace. The issue is always different, but tonight they were out of brown rice and the line got significantly backed-up while they made more brown rice. The last time, they were out of guacamole. The time before that it was something else. Same story, different day. If you are paying close attention and don't blink your eyes, you have a decent chance of leaving with your entire order. Tonight, they failed to put the salsa that I had ordered and paid for in the bag with the chips, but I have learned to be very attentive here and reminded them. The food itself is usually very good and consistent with other Chipotle's, but a little more attention to planning and detail at this location would go a long way with this burrito-lovin' customer.

I'm not usually a fast casual fan, so it took some convincing for me to stop here. There was a line and they were busy, which was a good sign. I ordered some sort of burrito and an order of chips and guacamole. The chips and guacamole were good, but the burrito wasn't too great. The employees could use some customer service training. The Diet Coke was out, so I mentioned it to the cashier and she laughed... it was strange. I was like, do I have guacamole on my nose? No, apparently, I wasn't the only one who had mentioned it to her and she, for some strange reason found it funny. They had one chance with me, and they blew it. I can assure you that at least one employee doesn't care though.

Overall, the food is good at this location, but the service is inconsistent because there's so much turnover with staff. One visit could be splendid and the next one horrible--it just depends on who's working at the moment.

Bad day but staff so friendly I had to smile. All the great food chipotle is known for is at this location. Plus, nice people. Can't beat that!

I love Chipotle and eat there often, however this location always seems to have issues. Always out of something and never seem too bothered to get things in order. Not great attitudes. Just not as good as you would expect from this chain. Even though it's very close to my house, I often drive further to the Richmond Road location where they never seem to have any issues.

I always getting good food here. I love the taco salad with vinaigrette here. I had one bad experience in the past while paying for my food, I had to wait for the cashier to stop, "flirting", about 45 seconds to ring me up. 45 seconds might not seem long, but on a 30 minute lunch break from Hamburg, it does. Other than that, I would give a 5.

So so Mexican food. Born and raised in Southern California and really wasn't impressed. Not the worst but not the best!

Chipotle is awesome. My fav is the Fajita Burrito with steak, mild salsa, and a bit of sour cream and cheese. Heaven in a piece of foil! Love the chips and guac too.

10 stars!!!! Barbacoa burrito w/ hot sauce is unreal!!!! Best cheese and sour cream too! I don't like the med and mild sauce tho because too many onions.
