Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

I really want to love this place. I mean, it's a Chinese buffet, after all, and I LOVE all things buffet.... Perhaps it was just an "off" night, but it was eerily empty (and quiet) for a "kids eat free" night. After trying the cocktail shrimp and chicken on a stick, which tasted pretty...wrong, I lost my appetite. The fried rice and lo mein noodles were bland. Overall, the only item I really enjoyed were the Chinese doughnuts. I'm giving two stars for the sweet, friendly staff and great service. Unfortunately, we won't likely be back.

If I could give no stars I would. Utterly discuting. I wanted Chinese for lunch but didn't want to drive to Louisville so I have it a second chance, everyone deserves a second chance right? WRONG. This place needs to be shut down. I was there at 12:10pm, I think that's a fairly popular lunch time, half the buffet was empty, I posted pics of this. The food was atrocious, and I was scared to try the "Mongolian grill" portion of the buffet, the chicken looked a little green to me. I'm done, won't be back.

The bad reviews are unwarranted. The selection is great, the sushi is pretty good for a Buffett, and the price was incredible. Only 4.99 for a Sunday lunch... My family of 5 all enjoyed our meals and the service was friendly and polite. I posted several pictures of the Buffett line today so you can see how good it all looks. And real ice cream too! I highly recommend giving this place a try!

My family and I LOVE Jumbo Buffet! It's cheap and good. It's great for everyone the kids and the grown ups. They have a wide selection of beer and alcohol. And they have foods that the kids love (chicken tenders and french fries). The staff is so nice they're always trying to give you the best deal. And when they deliver they are always fast. WE LOVE JUMBO BUFFET!

Not the worst Chinese you will eat. Found a roach at the buffet once but they gave us a 10% discount so I was willing to overlook the added crunch. If you go at the right time you might have less roaches, as they tend to come out more at night. Also I don't recommend eating the mussels there. My friend has the stomach of a vulture and they still gave her massive diarrhea.

If you want to stuff yourself with good Chinese food this is the place. They have tables full of hot steamy delicious selections. I found the food to be very good for the type of service they offer. Be careful if you have a sensitive stomach. They use a lot of MSG and it can mess with you. Their name says it all. It is JUMBO. A very good place to take teenagers that like seafood. They will definitely get their fill.

My husband and I just finished lunch at jumbo Buffett. The food was greasy and had very little flavor. We will not be going back.

Save your money. My wife and I had not eaten here in a year or so and now I remember why. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't very good. The food selection was good. I love hot and sour soup but their's had no fire and worse no flavor. The next time we go out for Chinese food we'll go back to China King in Crestwood, KY.
