Excellent service, good food. My husband got a ribeye, was perfectly cook as he requested, moist, no need of any kind of sauce to eat it. I got a fried cat fish, excellent, my daughter a super big hamburger, she is so picki with food, but she ate all. Everything was home made, worth every cent.

This is my new favorite place to eat when I'm missing home. Absolutely delicious southern food! Go on Fridays for all you can eat catfish and sides!!

This isn't the kind of place you'd find in a big city. The outside is like an old log building. I walked in and noticed the $6.99 daily special board... can't beat that price with a stick! As I walked in, I also noticed the salad bar, but the lettuce was almost out. So, I decided that I didn't want to have to immediately ask for something to be replenished on the salad bar. We had a choice of rolls or cornbread to start out with. We chose corn bread. They were in muffin form and were a bit too greasy for my liking. I ordered the Thursday daily special. It's your choice of one meat and three sides. My choice was fried chicken, accompanied by mash potatoes, seasoned greens and buttered carrots. The fried chicken was excellent. Actually, everything was excellent. I especially liked that the plate was sectioned off... so the juice from the carrots and greens didn't seep into the other food. The service was good too. She brought the bill out and we paid at the front. We were in and out within 30 minutes.

The restuarant is in an very old log house. When you walk in you almost feel like your visiting family. It's pretty obvious that is was a house. It's small but has great southern food. Not much in the way of a private dinner, but if you like history and a homey feel this is a good spot to eat.

This is a log cabin restaurant full of character. The food is absolutely delicious and well worth the reasonable price. The service is excellent as well.
