Lunch update: after much thought, I decided upon a small restaurant called Dairy Queen. I ordered the chicken strip basket and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The strips were cooked to perfection and came out piping hot. The coating on the onion rings was fantastic, crispy and light. The gravy was perfection with the right amount of pepper and salt seasoning. The toast was a little under-toasted but wonderfully buttered and when complimented with the gravy, was a surprise to my taste buds. Service was slightly lacking but not the worst I've experienced. I may try a "dilly bar" to end my meal. Who knows??? Such excitement. I'll definitely be visiting again.
