The most profound aspect of Montgomery in was the amazing service I received.each server was attentive to my needs, even though they were not at my table. The busters deserve medals, as I see them running around constantly, but more importantly I'd like to say that the food was amazing. The title of ribs king is rightfully given, as the ribs were phenomenal. The atmosphere was nice and the prices reasonable, I'd suggest this restaurant for anyone traveling on I-75 and are hungry for good food.

My boyfriend was in town visiting so I made sure to bring him to Montgomery inn to show him what I was talking about. The sauce at Montgomery inn speaks for itself and helps to make everything taste better! The ribs are amazing, you can't go wrong but if your looking to change things up I recently had the crab cakes which are awesome or the duck. The duck was so crunchy and delicious, the crab cake was exactly that CRAB! No fouling around with extra fillers and stuff just a lot of CRAB!!

I heard wonderful things about this restaurant from local residents, so when my cousin said she would pick me up at my hotel in Florence for dinner at the Montgomery Inn, I was in high anticipation all day! We were immediately seated upon arrival and offered beverages. The specials were also brought to our attention. I ordered the Ribs / Crab Cake Combo with a side of Chopped Brussels Sprouts cooked with Bacon and Onion. I immediately devoured the Crab Cake and Brussels Sprouts. I took longer to polish off the meaty Ribs. I forgot to mention that we were provided bibs to protect our clothing, which was a nice touch. I are everything on my plate! No room for dessert. :-) Will be back the next time I am in the area!

Ask anyone in the Cincinnati area what food they'd recommend, and they'd likely recommend Skyline, Graeter's....But really, let's be honest, chocolate in my chili isn't exactly appetizing, and I can get Graeter's at any Kroeger's. I've been to Cincinnati twice and am now just hearing about Montgomery Inn's crack ribs. Why have you kept this secret from me, Cincinnati? Okay, so I call them crack ribs because, at first, they're good- maybe not the best you've had. But then, the tomatoey, tangy sauce starts growing on you, like a good hoppy beer. And you realize, yes, they've cooked the ribs perfectly; not quite "fall off the bone" but not dry and overdone. By the end of the meal, I was convinced the ribs were laced with cocaine. I wanted to go home with a full slab, and would have if I weren't already full. Plus, I wanted to leave some room for Graeter's. Either way- do yourself a favor and get the best ribs an addict could ask for.

Not the usual goodness for Montgomery Inn food quality. Ordered a beef brisket sandwich and the meat was sliced too large, extremely tough and could not eat this. I also had a side of sweet potato that was very good but when delivered i asked for butter and brown sugar for the potatoe and did not get the brown sugar topping as ordered. Waitress server were slow tonight and the place was not busy due to the bad weather rainy conditions outside. My guest had ribs and saratoga chips that he loved. As a local i knew that this Montgomery Inn had kitchen problems this night. Manager was no where to be spotted this night because i wanted to show him this beef brisket quality.

Last year we vacationed in Cincinnati and on our boat tour of the Ohio River, the captain recommended the Montgomery Inn for their ribs. We never got around to going then...so we stopped at the one in Kentucky on the way home from Atlanta. The restaurant itself is very stately. The service was fine, not anything outstanding, but not poor, either. My husband had the ribs and for him, they were too sweet and messy. He did finish them though. I had the rib hoagie sandwich, which is the rib meat and sauce on a bun. The bun was nothing special at all. The rib meat was ok, but kind of dry yet oversauced. My husband was disappointed that they do not serve bread with the meal, he is a big bread guy. I had a baked potato and it was nothing to write home about, very dry on the outside. Both of our kids did not finish their french fries and that's unusual. The Pepsi tasted a little off, too. The spinach soup was very good though. We did not have dessert. All in all, everything just seemed overpriced and over-hyped. It is a beautiful restaurant though and the food is acceptable, just nothing outstanding. There is a picture of President George W Bush on the wall, holding a big bag of ribs...if that impresses you. It did nothing for me, except I had an urge to take my shoe off and and throw it at it ;)

Funny thing about this is that the two existing reviews for Montgomery Inn are from two Yelpers from LA. Montgomery Inn came highly recommended and as I often do, I asked what they had that was not on the menu. I was handsomely rewarded this time. The waiter recommended an appetizer that was so wonderful and inventive, I could have died happy. It was fresh scallops wrapped in bacon with sliced water chestnut wedged in there that provided a slightly crispy and clean texture then deep fried served on a bed of fresh spinach, chopped egg and chopped bacon.......and dipped in BBQ sauce. Speaking of the BBQ sauce in a word, wonderful tangy and garlicky and deep. The service was great, atmosphere is upscale, we had a great time all around. Minus one star because the ribs were slightly dry under all that stellar sauce. Maybe that rack was sitting around for a while or over grilled a bit after smoking, but I was surprised. I was also advised to try the ice cream and passed.

I was taken here with the. I was instructed it had Cincinnati's best ribs. Ribs were pretty mundane. Cuts of meat were fatty. Sauce was one dimensional -overpoweringly sweet. Sides were forgettable. Jalapeños peppers were as such as peanut butter (mutant jalapeños?). Service kind of rude. Wine list however was very affordable. I just don't get the hype. Won't go here again.

A guy on the long-term parking-to-terminal on Sunday night said this place was a must stop when in Cincy area. With some slight downtime before flying back tonight I made it a point to have an early dinner here. Last thing I wanted was crappy airline choices. I came in and was about to order a Pick Two with the famous ribs until the bartender said its "All You Can Eat Ribs Night". Oh god, I let my stomach do the ordering. The only other guy at the bar, Mario Bataglia-looking but larger, had a bib on and looked to have ordered the same. Let the games, marathon and gorging begin. Before my bib came off, I consumed 3 racks of ribs, 1 more than pseudo-Mario, and a Guinness. I'm not sure if I should be proud or embarrassed. All in all very good ribs but not the best I've had. Those are reserved for the place in Columbus, I believe, that still hold that crown. Plus the consistency lacked. My second serving was over cooked and sloppily prepared with sparse BBQ sauce slapped on it. The first and third were good, fall-off-the-bone. Well, off to the airport for my flight. I hope I only ate like it was my last meal!

Was visiting from Los Angeles on business...a coworker suggested this place. The service was ok. The place wasn't too busy. I ordered BBQ chicken and ribs with a sweet potato. I thought the chicken was tasty but after all the BBQ skin was gone, it was bland. The ribs were a bit dry and they had an odd tasty to them...a little too gamey for my taste. Food was good. I went to Montgomery Inn on the recommendation of the front desk attendant at the hotel I am staying at. I was looking for something local while I was in the area and this was a well known spot that she suggested. I had the ribs and grilled shrimp combo. Ribs were fall off the bone. They were cooked on a grill and finished in an oven, not smoked like we are used to down South, but they were good nonetheless. I'd been to the Boathouse a handful of times, but this was my first visit to the Ft. Wright location. I have to say, it was my best Montgomery Inn experience yet! I had Big Ted's Platter, which included pulled pork, brisket and ribs. It was all very good, but the service stood out above the typical Boathouse experience. Reservations are recommended, particularly on the weekend.

This is my first time experiencing BBQ in this region. Came out here with a group of friends on a Saturday night for dinner. The place looked clean and the ambience was great, along with the staff and the service that was provided. All of us order what this place is known for... their ribs. I ordered the Ribs and Pork Chop, which is one of their signature dishes. It comes with a pile of their onion straws, which was good and crispy and not greasy, and a side of your choice, which I chose the baked potato with sour cream and chives, which was perfectly cooked. The ribs were excellent and the pork chop was juicy and tender. What made these two items exceptional was the Montgomery Inn BBQ Sauce. It was awesome. Perfectly balanced in texture and flavor, not too sweet or sour, bold flavor but not overpowering, and it went well with the ribs and pork chop. The sauce was already smothered on the ribs and the sauce was on the side for the pork chop. I also ordered a side salad with blue cheese dressing, which was OK, but nothing extraordinary. Though, I wish I didn't get it because by the end of the meal, I was so full. Overall the food was excellent. I loved the sauce and was glad to see it being sold at the CVG Airport where I bought 2 bottles to take back to California. Though a bit of a warning... the sauce was great, but you know what they say, "What comes in, must come out" And what came out was the most foulest smell ever! As mentioned, came to visit on a Saturday night with a group of friends. The following morning we went to church together and someone let out one of those silent but deadly farts during the worship service...not exactly a sanctimonious moment. It wasn't until AFTER the service when one of the guys confessed, and let me say the trip back to where we were staying was not exactly a pleasant one either! So be warned, but it is worth it!

Good stuff! A local brought me here, as this is one of the Cincinnati "Must Haves" Great story behind the business...read the back of the menu. Started out with the Saratoga Chips with BBQ sauce. I have to say the sauce was pretty sweet...at first almost too sweet. (For the record, I'm more of a Memphis dry-rub rib guy, myself.) But by the time I was digging into the ribs, it was pretty darn good. I didn't have the willpower to stop and take a before pic...but I did get one of the aftermath. Finished up with some Graeter's Raspberry Chocolate Chip. the food was quick, service was great.

My first and only Montgomery Inn experience (so far) was at this location. Somewhat off the beaten path, you wouldn't think this spot would be the best for such a locally famous restaurant... and it isn't. The food was just as good as I expected: solid BBQ fare (ribs, chicken, steak, etc.) with the famous Montgomery Inn sauce. Nothing too special, but it was good enough that I plan on going to the one along the Ohio, and maybe even the original in Montgomery... but I doubt I'll go back to this location.

I feel this restaurant is so over rated. I order a full slab ribs, so they brought it out. I took a bite of it,could not figure out the funny taste. So I continued on eating it. I know I had that funny weird taste before, it dawned on me, oh my god it tasted freezer burnt, yuk!! I even tried to drench it with there famous barbecue, did not help. I was not even impressed with the taste of there famous barbecue sauce. I will never go back to this restaurant ever again, very disappointed :-(

I think some song says Cincinnati is my kind of town...No wait, that's Chicago. Whatever, this part of the country is pretty friendly. After living in California for so long, I've gotten used to people mostly keeping to themselves. So when you walk in a restaurant and a waitress genuinely wants to engage in a conversation, it can be slightly off-putting at first. But then I remembered where I was and our table quickly warmed to her personality. Being at a rib place, I got the ribs. The ribs were tender but almost in that Chili's chain sort of way. The real redeeming quality was their BBQ sauce and their home made potato chips. Neither are good for you, but "I tell you what" they taste real good.

For being a Cincinnati famous eatery it is just ok to me. This was my first time eating at one but I have had it at events before. The BBQ sauce has a very unique. It is a bit more sweet then I normally like and it is only good warm. The service was great for a group of our size. It just wasn't what I was expecting from what every one said bout this place. For the price it was nothing to special. If I am out with a group and people want to go here I will but it would not be one of my first choices.

It's a Saturday night and we had been to a movie at the Levee (The King's Speech, no less). Now, where to go for dinner??? We headed to the Buttermilk Pike exit. Outback 1.5 hour wait. Then we tried Grandview Tavern (see separate review) and ended up at this MI location. Easy to overlook as it's in a office complex. That may actually be a good thing! In its defense, we were seated before we finished our drinks at the bar and I had a dish that I'm sure I will continue to crave! Not wanting to have an expensive, outrageous meal--just dinner--my husband ordered the brisket sandwich with fries. Very yummy, just a little oversized, but certainly not a problem. I ordered the blackened scallops over salad. Ok, this isn't just a salad. It's a shredded cabbage base with blue cheese crumbles and a bacon-vinagrette dressing, topped with six blackened scallops. I'm still thinking about it days later! I'm pretty sure that it's close enough to my office that I could go there at lunch and have them divide the salad into two portions and I could eat it for two meals (planning ahead here). The only minuses: 1) the decor is lacking. Very strip-centerish (almost antiseptic). NOT what you expect from MI. 2) The main entrees are very expensive (and include only one side). 3) The bread was like rye sandwich bread??? What's up with that?! 4) Service was slow. If it wasn't for the short wait for a table and the awesome salad, I'd probably go 3 stars, but I'm in for four!

You know... living in cincinnati for 5 years i was always told to go to Montgomery Inn and we went once or twice when we first moved here and I did not enjoy it at all. But recently I attended a business dinner at the Montgomery Inn in Ft Mitchell and I was really surprised how much more I liked it. I don't know if they have changed anything in their service or how they prepair things or if I had just had some fluke nights or what but this particular visit was very enjoyable. By no means is Montgomery Inn my favorite BBQ ever... gas station BBQ in texas trounces this place but they had a really good selection this last time I visited. I had the Big Ted's Platter (pulled pork barbecue, sliced smoked brisket and ribs) it was a generous amount of food and they were served on jalapeño corncakes which are so good they make my mouth water just thinking about them. The ribs were tender and good even for a boy that doesnt like pork ribs. The montgomery inn sauce like everything in cincinnati is sweet (kansas city style?) and the saratoga chips are just awesome. Our server was friendly but not over the top, it was just the right level that we could still discuss business without constant interruption. OH and I didnt realize this particular one has Kentucky Bourbon Barrell Ale on tap, how awesome is that? With their great happy hour specials I will have to investigate this part again and again and again! Overall, very professional service, good food (this time) and a good atmosphere to get some business done over a meal.

So a friend of a friend is flying into Cincinnati from England. He's been to the states, but never here (how a European manages to make trips across the pond without stopping in Ohio is beyond me). So my friend wants to show him a good time. Question is, where should we eat dinner the first night as a sort of welcoming party? What would be a good place to show off Cincinnati's iconic cuisine? Duh. Montgomery Inn. It's up there with Graeter's and Skyline; no tour of the Queen City is complete without it. And yeah, the Boathouse is cool, but we live in classy KY, so we had to hit up the one on Buttermilk. Which, by the way, should be called Montgomery Inn at the Brewery, because, well, that's where it is. The building used to be a brewery. Neat, huh? For the (shockingly) uninitiated, this is a rib joint, more or less. A classy rib joint, to be sure, but let's not call an apple an orange. You get big messy plates of meat there. And fear not, for they are big and they are messy. I confess that I'm not the biggest expert, given that I had a salad with blackened salmon--although maybe it's worth mentioning that it was a fantastic salad. But one of the womenfolk had trouble finishing her meal and enlisted my help, both with a pork sandwich and a strawberry shortcake. I haven't had ribs there (only at the Boathouse), but everybody else on here will tell you about the ribs, so no big deal, I suppose. MI isn't amazing in any one way. It's pretty typical decor for an above average but by no means fancy restaurant. Service is on par with the price, which for one of their more standard meals runs over 20. The food is very good, worthy of its status. It's just not a place you go if you're wanting something really out of the ordinary. That's all that keeps it from getting five stars from me: it's missing that extra something, that je ne sais quoi. But I can only fault an otherwise stellar place for that so much. It's worth many, many trips, especially if you're in the mood to have your meal leave you full, or if you just want to get your Cincinnatian friends off your back about never going.

Okay Montgomery. This has been a long time coming. I usually am at the boathouse, but I can safely say I've eaten at a Montgomery Inn 20-30 times in my life. Seeing as how I'm as close to an expert as you get, I am appalled I have not been bribed to write this review. Seriously, send some ribs Mike's way for more stars. Normally that is verboten, but if it's from you, I can be bought. Call me. So in my disappointingly unbiased opinion, I think Montgomery Inn gets a bad rap. Don't get me wrong, it has a rep for being a great ribs joint, but people who fancy themselves as rib aficionados give it "Meh". The complaints I hear is that the sauce is too sweet, which is a valid criticism. I'm a sweet BBQ kind of guy though, and if you're not, I can understand how this can be a turn off for you. No hard feelings. One thing that's hard to debate on, is that the ribs themselves are cooked to perfection. They are fall-off-the-bone tender, and who can't appreciate that? Apparently so called "rib aficionados", that's who. Montgomery Inn has two other items which I think are almost as good as the ribs. The Saratoga chips, well you just can't go wrong there. Also a frequently overlooked menu item are the Crustini appetizers. It's basically just a French bread covered with tomatoes and cheese, and is probably my favorite thing they have. I feel kind of dirty ordering it though, because for a $6 item I know it cost them maybe 50 cents to make. Which, segues into my point beef (pork?) about Montgomery Inn. For as great as their ribs are, I feel they charge a lot for the reputation. They are certainly good, but when you can get pulled pork for $8, its really hard to justify it. Maybe it's not quite as good, when you can order almost three orders of it to every one order of ribs, it makes me think I'm not getting a good deal. So, there you have it Montgomery Inn. I think you're pulling the fast one on me. Such a feeling can be remedied with ribs and Crustinis. You'll know where to find me.

This is one of the smaller locations for a Montgomery Inn ribs fix but it has a really interesting character about it. Built into the side of the shut-down Oldenburg Brewery on Buttermilk pike, this place has a kind of interesting charm, lots of nice tile work and stained glass windows make it a very classy looking place. The ribs are great, if you like a sweet barbeque sauce. The sauce is very sweet but is a local favorite and a little bit can go a long way if you get overloaded you can put some off to the side. The meat falls off the bone and is consistently good. I tried their Ted's Pail Ale when I went last time and was pleasantly surprised, it's fairly mild on the hops for a PA but it has a good flavor. The shrimp comes with a great plum mustard sauce that has a very interesting flavor, a friend commented that he would like to try it on the ribs but we had all eaten our ribs too quickly to try it. There are a number of Montgomery Inn locations but they all are good by me.

Ok ok ok. I FINALLY went. And it was excellent. Everyone kept talking about how I was failing as a Cincinnatian for not going here. Well that can stop now. I had the ribs of course and they were full of fall-off-the-bone goodness. I cannot fault Montgomery Inn for the quality of the ribs. However, the sauce was a little too sweet in my book. The Saratoga chips I had with the dinner were pretty good and went great with the sauce though. A couple things I will fault MI on is the price and the quantity. At most BBQ places, I usually find it hard to finish even a half slab of ribs. At MI, I probably could have ordered 2 full racks. Also, the price was such that I might go there quarterly, but never once a month. I did try their salmon and shrimp though, and found those to be excellent. In the end, I would recommend, but make it a special occasion.

It has been a while since last tasting the famous Montgomery Inn ribs so I decided to visit on my recent visit to the Cincinnati area. I ordered the ribs and duck combo with the Saratoga chips and was really pleased with the ribs but no so much with the duck. The ribs were falling off the bone and the sauce was as tasty as I remembered. The duck was a bit overcooked with the leg bone very charred and the meat dry. The only saving factor was the delicious orange sauce the duck came with. I wasn't overly thrilled with the Saratoga chips but thought they matched any good kettle chip. I paid over $25 for the combo so I expected a high value and was just a little disappointed with the value I got. Still good but not exceptional. I have no complaint with any of the staff...excellent service and attitude and a very nice atmosphere too.

First, automatic one star deduction for allowing cigar smoking. I get it that it was Ted Gregory's signature, but he's gone and so is the acceptability of smoking in a restaurant. It might also explain why there were only two or three tables full at lunch time. That and the prices I've already reviewed the Ribs at the Boathouse, so this time I tried the blackened scallop salad, one of maybe 8 items that isn't smothered in their tasty but sweet and potentially overpowering BBQ sauce. Cajun spiced scallops, bacon, salad, how can you go wrong? By being stingy with the scallops, putting so little bacon in you can barely see it less taste it, and calling 90% raw, thick cabbage (.50 / lb.) mixed with tiny shreds of iceberg a salad and charging almost $15.00 for it, that's how. The atmosphere is great except for the smoke, the service was close to perfect - unobtrusive but my glass was never empty. The country fried pork special was rated "almost as good as Cracker Barrel" and the meat and sweet sauce lovers really liked the ribs.

My friends and I ate here on a cheap vacation to King's Island. It appears that they have a nicer section and a casual bar section which was great because we didn't bring nice clothes. We didn't feel out of place in the bar because it's very sports centered. The neighborhood is very fancy which probably yields their high prices. Still though, we were on vacation and didn't spend much money at all on this trip. The ribs were very good, tender, and fell right off the bone. The waiter was absolutely great. My friends ordered a salad and wanted to split it. The waiter brought everything on the side so they could ad as much or as little to their salad as far as toppings go which I thought was really nice. I didn't care much for the Bbq sauce because you can really taste the tomato and I'm more of a spicy sweet brown sugar sauce kind of person. Nevertheless, everything was very tasty. We had the onion straws as an appetizer and I had mac and cheese with my ribs. After riding roller coasters all day we were dead tired and famished and this place really hit the spot. We came super late but it was nice that the waiter treated us well and wasn't annoyed that we were the last onces in the place. I would definitly come here again.

I loved this place the last time I was in Cincinnati and at at their Boathouse location. Had a business mtg in the area and was initally excited there's a Montgomery Inn nearby. Had a group and food was fair. Place wasn't busy at all and felt the food was not the freshest due to slow business. Chicken in the ribs and chicken combo tasted like it was from lunch and reheated... Service was average and the entree served to someone in the party almost spilled on the lap. I'm sitting back at the hotel, sipping on my sweet tea (it's a big deal out here I guess...), thinking about the city of Cincinnati which thus far has been a wonderland of Chili Coney's and killer Ice Cream. After all those chili dogs yesterday, it was time for a change-up. For late lunch today, we ventured on into the Montgomery Inn, which I've been told has the best bbq ribs in the area. Menu had good variety, but I was there for the ribs. Petite (nah), Half-Slab (nah), Full Slab (sounds `bout right), or King (might be overdoing it here...) We had a Calamari appetizer come first, nicely seasoned with a marinara dip. One of my vendors wouldn't touch it. Fish bait he called it. lol... Pretty tasty, and more for me. Then come the ribs. Good sized portion of barbecue goodness spread across my plate with kettle fried "Saratoga" potato chips with their signature barbecue dipping sauce. Meat was tender, full of flavor, and fall off the bone juicy. To my vendor's disbelief, I put the whole sucker down. I think he only got halfway through his... lol... If you have leisure time in the area, make sure and check out their Boathouse location in Cincinnati on the riverfront. That's the 5-star location. As for dessert, we didn't try it. There's a Graeter's Ice Cream across the street (another must try according to the `Nati Natives)
My rule when traveling, like many others... never travel and eat some place that you can eat at home. So, if you're traveling to Cincy, try one of the local Montgomery Inns. The ribs are fantastic and the chicken is good. And they have really potent Long Island Iced Teas. Really...

Famous for their BBQ, so that's what I got. A sandwich and chips. The sandwich was very good...very filling. The chips were a little salty for me...and I love salt. Since they are handmade, maybe they sprinkled too much this time around. No big deal. I enjoyed sitting out on their patio for lunch. They have flowers and greenery. It gives you a break from 10 hours behind a computer.

If you love ribs, this is a Cincinnati staple that must be visited. Montgomery Inn is known for their tender, fall off the bone ribs, topped with their sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. I always get the ribs here because they are always good. And this time they had all-you-can-eat ribs and I just can't say no to that kind of challenge. Along with my ribs I got saratoga chips which are their made from scratch thick potato chips. They are crispy and go awesome with their BBQ sauce. On of my favorite things besides the ribs are their onion straws which we got for appetizer. They are so thin and crispy and just wonderful. They also taste amazing dipped in the BBQ sauce. Are you seeing a trend here? If you're visiting Cincinnati, this is the place to go to get your ribs fix.

Descent country stylr restaurant. This place reminds me of Longhorns and Outback if they had Baby smothered in BBQ sauce.They promote their ribs and rotisserie cuz their damn proud of it. First off I came for the ribs after reading the reviews about them. As I walked in the foyer area smells of nursing home air, I can't even tell you how bad and stale the air is. Entering the actual dining area it improves but seeing the clientele the foyer made sense. We were by far the youngest couple there minus some kids with grandparents. Now for the meal, our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable, he brought us fresh bread that was delicious. I ordered the recommended all you can eat ribs, tip don't do this normal portion is enough for even the largest man. I chose slaw as the side. Lisa got the fried shrimp and ribs. The slaw for me was very overpowering with way too much ginger in the recipe it was like it was biting back. Lisa didn't enjoy the hoisen sauce as it as well was overpowering with too much ginger. Now for the main event the ribs OMG I'M GOING TO TELL YOU NOW GO GET THEM RIGHT NOW. I won't go anywhere else for ribs moving forward. We had the caramel volcano dessert the cake was a bought in cake that tasted of freezer burn and the plate was 80% whip cream. Seriously every dessert we saw was nothing but whip cream. Save your money on dessert.

You know when you go to a hyped up restaurant & it often fails to live up to the hype? This is one of those places that actually delivers. Food: delicious. Service: on point. My belly: full and happy. My favorite BBQ in general is brisket, but I'd never tried it here. I decided to stick with the pulled pork, knowing I would like that, & my husband ordered the slider trio of pork, chicken & brisket & promptly gave me the brisket (because he's great like that!!) It was some of the best brisket I've ever had: extremely tender, flavorful & smoky. We didn't get sauce put on it, though it is lightly marinated in their sweet sauce & that was perfect. My actual dinner, pork & potato, were also fantastic. Service was attentive & quick throughout the meal. I want more brisket! My husband also enjoyed his meal thoroughly.

Overall a nice dining experience. Service is always good. The bar prepares drinks quickly. Food is usually consistent. A few times I've been disappointed with the ribs, but I always have loved the 1/2 chicken, and shrimp. The plum sauce mixed with Chinese mustard is da bomb! I always ask for extra hot mustard bc I love it. Wedge salad is really good. It's always really cold and the bleu cheese dressing is pretty decadent. Usually eat here twice a month and always leave satisfied.

Booked a early reservation for Valentines Day here! Very pleased with everything. Highly recommend open table before coming. Many people waiting. We were seated right away and immediately had a server. Ordered the pick 2 combo. Half ribs and shrimp. Loved it. I don't recommend the sauce that came with the fried shrimp though. It was super spicy and mixed with jelly? Awkward taste. Service was excellent, felt a little rushed, but it was Vday and they had a line. Totally get it. Will certainly return!

The most profound aspect of Montgomery in was the amazing service I received.each server was attentive to my needs, even though they were not at my table. The busters deserve medals, as I see them running around constantly, but more importantly I'd like to say that the food was amazing. The title of ribs king is rightfully given, as the ribs were phenomenal. The atmosphere was nice and the prices reasonable, I'd suggest this restaurant for anyone traveling on I-75 and are hungry for good food.

My boyfriend was in town visiting so I made sure to bring him to Montgomery inn to show him what I was talking about. The sauce at Montgomery inn speaks for itself and helps to make everything taste better! The ribs are amazing, you can't go wrong but if your looking to change things up I recently had the crab cakes which are awesome or the duck. The duck was so crunchy and delicious, the crab cake was exactly that CRAB! No fouling around with extra fillers and stuff just a lot of CRAB!!

I heard wonderful things about this restaurant from local residents, so when my cousin said she would pick me up at my hotel in Florence for dinner at the Montgomery Inn, I was in high anticipation all day! We were immediately seated upon arrival and offered beverages. The specials were also brought to our attention. I ordered the Ribs / Crab Cake Combo with a side of Chopped Brussels Sprouts cooked with Bacon and Onion. I immediately devoured the Crab Cake and Brussels Sprouts. I took longer to polish off the meaty Ribs. I forgot to mention that we were provided bibs to protect our clothing, which was a nice touch. I are everything on my plate! Ask anyone in the Cincinnati area what food they'd recommend, and they'd likely recommend Skyline, Graeter's....But really, let's be honest, chocolate in my chili isn't exactly appetizing, and I can get Graeter's at any Kroeger's. I've been to Cincinnati twice and am now just hearing about Montgomery Inn's crack ribs. Why have you kept this secret from me, Cincinnati? Okay, so I call them crack ribs because, at first, they're good- maybe not the best you've had. But then, the tomatoey, tangy sauce starts growing on you, like a good hoppy beer. And you realize, yes, they've cooked the ribs perfectly; not quite "fall off the bone" but not dry and overdone. By the end of the meal, I was convinced the ribs were laced with cocaine. I wanted to go home with a full slab, and would have if I weren't already full. Plus, I wanted to leave some room for Graeter's. Either way- do yourself a favor and get the best ribs an addict could ask for.

Not the usual goodness for Montgomery Inn food quality. Ordered a beef brisket sandwich and the meat was sliced too large, extremely tough and could not eat this. I also had a side of sweet potato that was very good but when delivered i asked for butter and brown sugar for the potatoe and did not get the brown sugar topping as ordered. Waitress server were slow tonight and the place was not busy due to the bad weather rainy conditions outside. My guest had ribs and saratoga chips that he loved. Last year we vacationed in Cincinnati and on our boat tour of the Ohio River, the captain recommended the Montgomery Inn for their ribs. We never got around to going then...so we stopped at the one in Kentucky on the way home from Atlanta. The restaurant itself is very stately. The service was fine, not anything outstanding, but not poor, either. My husband had the ribs and for him, they were too sweet and messy. He did finish them though. I had the rib hoagie sandwich, which is the rib meat and sauce on a bun. The bun was nothing special at all. The rib meat was ok, but kind of dry yet oversauced. My husband was disappointed that they do not serve bread with the meal, he is a big bread guy. I had a baked potato and it was nothing to write home about, very dry on the outside. Both of our kids did not finish their french fries and that's unusual. The Pepsi tasted a little off, too. The spinach soup was very good though. We did not have dessert. All in all, everything just seemed overpriced and over-hyped. It is a beautiful restaurant though and the food is acceptable, just nothing outstanding. There is a picture of President George W Bush on the wall, holding a big bag of ribs...if that impresses you. It did nothing for me, except I had an urge to take my shoe off and and throw it at it ;)

Funny thing about this is that the two existing reviews for Montgomery Inn are from two Yelpers from LA. Montgomery Inn came highly recommended and as I often do, I asked what they had that was not on the menu. I was handsomely rewarded this time. The waiter recommended an appetizer that was so wonderful and inventive, I could have died happy. It was fresh scallops wrapped in bacon with sliced water chestnut wedged in there that provided a slightly crispy and clean texture then deep fried served on a bed of fresh spinach, chopped egg and chopped bacon.......and dipped in BBQ sauce. Speaking of the BBQ sauce in a word, wonderful tangy and garlicky and deep. The service was great, atmosphere is upscale, we had a great time all around. Minus one star because the ribs were slightly dry under all that stellar sauce. Maybe that rack was sitting around for a while or over grilled a bit after smoking, but I was surprised. I was also advised to try the ice cream and passed.

I was taken here with the. I was instructed it had Cincinnati's best ribs. Ribs were pretty mundane. Cuts of meat were fatty. Sauce was one dimensional -overpoweringly sweet. Sides were forgettable. Jalapeños peppers were as such as peanut butter (mutant jalapeños?). Service kind of rude. Wine list however was very affordable. I just don't get the hype. Won't go here again.

A guy on the long-term parking-to-terminal on Sunday night said this place was a must stop when in Cincy area. With some slight downtime before flying back tonight I made it a point to have an early dinner here. Last thing I wanted was crappy airline choices. I came in and was about to order a Pick Two with the famous ribs until the bartender said its "All You Can Eat Ribs Night". Oh god, I let my stomach do the ordering. The only other guy at the bar, Mario Bataglia-looking but larger, had a bib on and looked to have ordered the same. Let the games, marathon and gorging begin. Before my bib came off, I consumed 3 racks of ribs, 1 more than pseudo-Mario, and a Guinness. I'm not sure if I should be proud or embarrassed. All in all very good ribs but not the best I've had. Those are reserved for the place in Columbus, I believe, that still hold that crown. Plus the consistency lacked. My second serving was over cooked and sloppily prepared with sparse BBQ sauce slapped on it. The first and third were good, fall-off-the-bone. Well, off to the airport for my flight. I hope I only ate like it was my last meal!

I'd been to the Boathouse a handful of times, but this was my first visit to the Ft. Wright location. I have to say, it was my best Montgomery Inn experience yet! I had Big Ted's Platter, which included pulled pork, brisket and ribs. It was all very good, but the service stood out above the typical Boathouse experience. This is my first time experiencing BBQ in this region. Came out here with a group of friends on a Saturday night for dinner. The place looked clean and the ambience was great, along with the staff and the service that was provided. All of us order what this place is known for... their ribs. I ordered the Ribs and Pork Chop, which is one of their signature dishes. It comes with a pile of their onion straws, which was good and crispy and not greasy, and a side of your choice, which I chose the baked potato with sour cream and chives, which was perfectly cooked. The ribs were excellent and the pork chop was juicy and tender. What made these two items exceptional was the Montgomery Inn BBQ Sauce. It was awesome. Perfectly balanced in texture and flavor, not too sweet or sour, bold flavor but not overpowering, and it went well with the ribs and pork chop. The sauce was already smothered on the ribs and the sauce was on the side for the pork chop. I also ordered a side salad with blue cheese dressing, which was OK, but nothing extraordinary. Though, I wish I didn't get it because by the end of the meal, I was so full. Overall the food was excellent. I loved the sauce and was glad to see it being sold at the CVG Airport where I bought 2 bottles to take back to California. Though a bit of a warning... the sauce was great, but you know what they say, "What comes in, must come out" And what came out was the most foulest smell ever! As mentioned, came to visit on a Saturday night with a group of friends. The following morning we went to church together and someone let out one of those silent but deadly farts during the worship service...not exactly a sanctimonious moment. It wasn't until AFTER the service when one of the guys confessed, and let me say the trip back to where we were staying was not exactly a pleasant one either! So be warned, but it is worth it!

Good stuff! A local brought me here, as this is one of the Cincinnati "Must Haves" Great story behind the business...read the back of the menu. Started out with the Saratoga Chips with BBQ sauce. I have to say the sauce was pretty sweet...at first almost too sweet. (For the record, I'm more of a Memphis dry-rub rib guy, myself.) But by the time I was digging into the ribs, it was pretty darn good. I didn't have the willpower to stop and take a before pic...but I did get one of the aftermath. Finished up with some Graeter's Raspberry Chocolate Chip. the food was quick, service was great.

My first and only Montgomery Inn experience (so far) was at this location. Somewhat off the beaten path, you wouldn't think this spot would be the best for such a locally famous restaurant... and it isn't. The food was just as good as I expected: solid BBQ fare (ribs, chicken, steak, etc.) with the famous Montgomery Inn sauce. Nothing too special, but it was good enough that I plan on going to the one along the Ohio, and maybe even the original in Montgomery... but I doubt I'll go back to this location.

I feel this restaurant is so over rated. I order a full slab ribs, so they brought it out. I took a bite of it,could not figure out the funny taste. So I continued on eating it. I know I had that funny weird taste before, it dawned on me, oh my god it tasted freezer burnt, yuk!! I even tried to drench it with there famous barbecue, did not help. I think some song says Cincinnati is my kind of town...No wait, that's Chicago. Whatever, this part of the country is pretty friendly. After living in California for so long, I've gotten used to people mostly keeping to themselves. So when you walk in a restaurant and a waitress genuinely wants to engage in a conversation, it can be slightly off-putting at first. But then I remembered where I was and our table quickly warmed to her personality. Being at a rib place, I got the ribs. The ribs were tender but almost in that Chili's chain sort of way. The real redeeming quality was their BBQ sauce and their home made potato chips. Neither are good for you, but "I tell you what" they taste real good.

For being a Cincinnati famous eatery it is just ok to me. This was my first time eating at one but I have had it at events before. The BBQ sauce has a very unique. It is a bit more sweet then I normally like and it is only good warm. The service was great for a group of our size. It just wasn't what I was expecting from what every one said bout this place. For the price it was nothing to special. If I am out with a group and people want to go here I will but it would not be one of my first choices.

It's a Saturday night and we had been to a movie at the Levee (The King's Speech, no less). Now, where to go for dinner??? We headed to the Buttermilk Pike exit. Outback 1.5 hour wait. Then we tried Grandview Tavern (see separate review) and ended up at this MI location. Easy to overlook as it's in a office complex. That may actually be a good thing! In its defense, we were seated before we finished our drinks at the bar and I had a dish that I'm sure I will continue to crave! Not wanting to have an expensive, outrageous meal--just dinner--my husband ordered the brisket sandwich with fries. Very yummy, just a little oversized, but certainly not a problem. I ordered the blackened scallops over salad. Ok, this isn't just a salad. It's a shredded cabbage base with blue cheese crumbles and a bacon-vinagrette dressing, topped with six blackened scallops. I'm still thinking about it days later! I'm pretty sure that it's close enough to my office that I could go there at lunch and have them divide the salad into two portions and I could eat it for two meals (planning ahead here). The only minuses: 1) the decor is lacking. Very strip-centerish (almost antiseptic). NOT what you expect from MI. 2) The main entrees are very expensive (and include only one side). 3) The bread was like rye sandwich bread??? What's up with that?! 4) Service was slow. If it wasn't for the short wait for a table and the awesome salad, I'd probably go 3 stars, but I'm in for four!

You know... living in cincinnati for 5 years i was always told to go to Montgomery Inn and we went once or twice when we first moved here and I did not enjoy it at all. But recently I attended a business dinner at the Montgomery Inn in Ft Mitchell and I was really surprised how much more I liked it. I don't know if they have changed anything in their service or how they prepair things or if I had just had some fluke nights or what but this particular visit was very enjoyable. By no means is Montgomery Inn my favorite BBQ ever... gas station BBQ in texas trounces this place but they had a really good selection this last time I visited. I had the Big Ted's Platter (pulled pork barbecue, sliced smoked brisket and ribs) it was a generous amount of food and they were served on jalapeño corncakes which are so good they make my mouth water just thinking about them. The ribs were tender and good even for a boy that doesnt like pork ribs. The montgomery inn sauce like everything in cincinnati is sweet (kansas city style?) and the saratoga chips are just awesome. Our server was friendly but not over the top, it was just the right level that we could still discuss business without constant interruption. OH and I didnt realize this particular one has Kentucky Bourbon Barrell Ale on tap, how awesome is that? With their great happy hour specials I will have to investigate this part again and again and again! Overall, very professional service, good food (this time) and a good atmosphere to get some business done over a meal.

So a friend of a friend is flying into Cincinnati from England. He's been to the states, but never here (how a European manages to make trips across the pond without stopping in Ohio is beyond me). So my friend wants to show him a good time. Question is, where should we eat dinner the first night as a sort of welcoming party? What would be a good place to show off Cincinnati's iconic cuisine? Duh. Montgomery Inn. It's up there with Graeter's and Skyline; no tour of the Queen City is complete without it. And yeah, the Boathouse is cool, but we live in classy KY, so we had to hit up the one on Buttermilk. Which, by the way, should be called Montgomery Inn at the Brewery, because, well, that's where it is. The building used to be a brewery. Neat, huh? For the (shockingly) uninitiated, this is a rib joint, more or less. A classy rib joint, to be sure, but let's not call an apple an orange. You get big messy plates of meat there. And fear not, for they are big and they are messy. I confess that I'm not the biggest expert, given that I had a salad with blackened salmon--although maybe it's worth mentioning that it was a fantastic salad. But one of the womenfolk had trouble finishing her meal and enlisted my help, both with a pork sandwich and a strawberry shortcake. I haven't had ribs there (only at the Boathouse), but everybody else on here will tell you about the ribs, so no big deal, I suppose. MI isn't amazing in any one way. It's pretty typical decor for an above average but by no means fancy restaurant. Service is on par with the price, which for one of their more standard meals runs over 20. The food is very good, worthy of its status. It's just not a place you go if you're wanting something really out of the ordinary. That's all that keeps it from getting five stars from me: it's missing that extra something, that je ne sais quoi. But I can only fault an otherwise stellar place for that so much. It's worth many, many trips, especially if you're in the mood to have your meal leave you full, or if you just want to get your Cincinnatian friends off your back about never going.

Okay Montgomery. This has been a long time coming. I usually am at the boathouse, but I can safely say I've eaten at a Montgomery Inn 20-30 times in my life. Seeing as how I'm as close to an expert as you get, I am appalled I have not been bribed to write this review. Seriously, send some ribs Mike's way for more stars. Normally that is verboten, but if it's from you, I can be bought. Call me. So in my disappointingly unbiased opinion, I think Montgomery Inn gets a bad rap. Don't get me wrong, it has a rep for being a great ribs joint, but people who fancy themselves as rib aficionados give it "Meh". The complaints I hear is that the sauce is too sweet, which is a valid criticism. I'm a sweet BBQ kind of guy though, and if you're not, I can understand how this can be a turn off for you. No hard feelings. One thing that's hard to debate on, is that the ribs themselves are cooked to perfection. They are fall-off-the-bone tender, and who can't appreciate that? Apparently so called "rib aficionados", that's who. Montgomery Inn has two other items which I think are almost as good as the ribs. The Saratoga chips, well you just can't go wrong there. Also a frequently overlooked menu item are the Crustini appetizers. It's basically just a French bread covered with tomatoes and cheese, and is probably my favorite thing they have. I feel kind of dirty ordering it though, because for a $6 item I know it cost them maybe 50 cents to make. Which, segues into my point beef (pork?) about Montgomery Inn. For as great as their ribs are, I feel they charge a lot for the reputation. They are certainly good, but when you can get pulled pork for $8, its really hard to justify it. Maybe it's not quite as good, when you can order almost three orders of it to every one order of ribs, it makes me think I'm not getting a good deal. So, there you have it Montgomery Inn. I think you're pulling the fast one on me. Such a feeling can be remedied with ribs and Crustinis. You'll know where to find me.

This is one of the smaller locations for a Montgomery Inn ribs fix but it has a really interesting character about it. Built into the side of the shut-down Oldenburg Brewery on Buttermilk pike, this place has a kind of interesting charm, lots of nice tile work and stained glass windows make it a very classy looking place. The ribs are great, if you like a sweet barbeque sauce. The sauce is very sweet but is a local favorite and a little bit can go a long way if you get overloaded you can put some off to the side. The meat falls off the bone and is consistently good. I tried their Ted's Pail Ale when I went last time and was pleasantly surprised, it's fairly mild on the hops for a PA but it has a good flavor. The shrimp comes with a great plum mustard sauce that has a very interesting flavor, a friend commented that he would like to try it on the ribs but we had all eaten our ribs too quickly to try it. There are a number of Montgomery Inn locations but they all are good by me.

Ok ok ok. I FINALLY went. And it was excellent. Everyone kept talking about how I was failing as a Cincinnatian for not going here. Well that can stop now. I had the ribs of course and they were full of fall-off-the-bone goodness. I cannot fault Montgomery Inn for the quality of the ribs. However, the sauce was a little too sweet in my book. The Saratoga chips I had with the dinner were pretty good and went great with the sauce though. A couple things I will fault MI on is the price and the quantity. At most BBQ places, I usually find it hard to finish even a half slab of ribs. At MI, I probably could have ordered 2 full racks. Also, the price was such that I might go there quarterly, but never once a month. I did try their salmon and shrimp though, and found those to be excellent. In the end, I would recommend, but make it a special occasion.

It has been a while since last tasting the famous Montgomery Inn ribs so I decided to visit on my recent visit to the Cincinnati area. I ordered the ribs and duck combo with the Saratoga chips and was really pleased with the ribs but no so much with the duck. The ribs were falling off the bone and the sauce was as tasty as I remembered. The duck was a bit overcooked with the leg bone very charred and the meat dry. The only saving factor was the delicious orange sauce the duck came with. I wasn't overly thrilled with the Saratoga chips but thought they matched any good kettle chip. I paid over $25 for the combo so I expected a high value and was just a little disappointed with the value I got. Still good but not exceptional. I have no complaint with any of the staff...excellent service and attitude and a very nice atmosphere too.

First, automatic one star deduction for allowing cigar smoking. I get it that it was Ted Gregory's signature, but he's gone and so is the acceptability of smoking in a restaurant. It might also explain why there were only two or three tables full at lunch time. That and the prices I've already reviewed the Ribs at the Boathouse, so this time I tried the blackened scallop salad, one of maybe 8 items that isn't smothered in their tasty but sweet and potentially overpowering BBQ sauce. Cajun spiced scallops, bacon, salad, how can you go wrong? By being stingy with the scallops, putting so little bacon in you can barely see it less taste it, and calling 90% raw, thick cabbage (.50 / lb.) mixed with tiny shreds of iceberg a salad and charging almost $15.00 for it, that's how. The atmosphere is great except for the smoke, the service was close to perfect - unobtrusive but my glass was never empty. The country fried pork special was rated "almost as good as Cracker Barrel" and the meat and sweet sauce lovers really liked the ribs.

My friends and I ate here on a cheap vacation to King's Island. It appears that they have a nicer section and a casual bar section which was great because we didn't bring nice clothes. We didn't feel out of place in the bar because it's very sports centered. The neighborhood is very fancy which probably yields their high prices. Still though, we were on vacation and didn't spend much money at all on this trip. The ribs were very good, tender, and fell right off the bone. The waiter was absolutely great. My friends ordered a salad and wanted to split it. The waiter brought everything on the side so they could ad as much or as little to their salad as far as toppings go which I thought was really nice. I didn't care much for the Bbq sauce because you can really taste the tomato and I'm more of a spicy sweet brown sugar sauce kind of person. Nevertheless, everything was very tasty. We had the onion straws as an appetizer and I had mac and cheese with my ribs. After riding roller coasters all day we were dead tired and famished and this place really hit the spot. We came super late but it was nice that the waiter treated us well and wasn't annoyed that we were the last onces in the place. I would definitly come here again.

I loved this place the last time I was in Cincinnati and at at their Boathouse location. Had a business mtg in the area and was initally excited there's a Montgomery Inn nearby. Had a group and food was fair. Place wasn't busy at all and felt the food was not the freshest due to slow business. The ribs were oversauced, salad served was ice cold and like it sat in the fridge since it opened around lunch time. Chicken in the ribs and chicken combo tasted like it was from lunch and reheated... Service was average and the entree served to someone in the party almost spilled on the lap. Feel like it was one of those places where if you're in the area it's good to go once a year for nostalgia or to bring out of towners visiting...

I'm sitting back at the hotel, sipping on my sweet tea (it's a big deal out here I guess...), thinking about the city of Cincinnati which thus far has been a wonderland of Chili Coney's and killer Ice Cream. After all those chili dogs yesterday, it was time for a change-up. For late lunch today, we ventured on into the Montgomery Inn, which I've been told has the best bbq ribs in the area. Menu had good variety, but I was there for the ribs. Petite (nah), Half-Slab (nah), Full Slab (sounds `bout right), or King (might be overdoing it here...) We had a Calamari appetizer come first, nicely seasoned with a marinara dip. One of my vendors wouldn't touch it. Fish bait he called it. lol... Pretty tasty, and more for me. Then come the ribs. Good sized portion of barbecue goodness spread across my plate with kettle fried "Saratoga" potato chips with their signature barbecue dipping sauce. Meat was tender, full of flavor, and fall off the bone juicy. To my vendor's disbelief, I put the whole sucker down. I think he only got halfway through his... lol... If you have leisure time in the area, make sure and check out their Boathouse location in Cincinnati on the riverfront. That's the 5-star location. As for dessert, we didn't try it. There's a Graeter's Ice Cream across the street (another must try according to the `Nati Natives)

My rule when traveling, like many others... never travel and eat some place that you can eat at home. So, if you're traveling to Cincy, try one of the local Montgomery Inns. The ribs are fantastic and the chicken is good. And they have really potent Long Island Iced Teas. Really...

Famous for their BBQ, so that's what I got. A sandwich and chips. The sandwich was very good...very filling. The chips were a little salty for me...and I love salt. Since they are handmade, maybe they sprinkled too much this time around. No big deal. I enjoyed sitting out on their patio for lunch. They have flowers and greenery. It gives you a break from 10 hours behind a computer.

Had fried green beans for appetizer, ribs with saratago chips and crab cake for entree, and strawberry shortcake for dessert. Everything was fantastic! Our waitress was very friendly and knew the menu like the back of her hand. If you're in the mood for a big, tasty meal this is the place to go.

If you love ribs, this is a Cincinnati staple that must be visited. Montgomery Inn is known for their tender, fall off the bone ribs, topped with their sweet and tangy BBQ sauce. I always get the ribs here because they are always good. And this time they had all-you-can-eat ribs and I just can't say no to that kind of challenge. Along with my ribs I got saratoga chips which are their made from scratch thick potato chips. They are crispy and go awesome with their BBQ sauce. On of my favorite things besides the ribs are their onion straws which we got for appetizer. They are so thin and crispy and just wonderful. They also taste amazing dipped in the BBQ sauce. Are you seeing a trend here? If you're visiting Cincinnati, this is the place to go to get your ribs fix.

Descent country stylr restaurant. This place reminds me of Longhorns and Outback if they had Baby smothered in BBQ sauce.They promote their ribs and rotisserie cuz their damn proud of it. I ordered bbq wingz which was very good. They said want to heavy and the wings cooked well. A greek salad typed with blackened salmon for dinnner just hit the spot.

First off I came for the ribs after reading the reviews about them. As I walked in the foyer area smells of nursing home air, I can't even tell you how bad and stale the air is. Entering the actual dining area it improves but seeing the clientele the foyer made sense. We were by far the youngest couple there minus some kids with grandparents. Now for the meal, our waiter was very helpful and knowledgeable, he brought us fresh bread that was delicious. I ordered the recommended all you can eat ribs, tip don't do this normal portion is enough for even the largest man. I chose slaw as the side. Lisa got the fried shrimp and ribs. The slaw for me was very overpowering with way too much ginger in the recipe it was like it was biting back. Lisa didn't enjoy the hoisen sauce as it as well was overpowering with too much ginger. Now for the main event the ribs OMG I'M GOING TO TELL YOU NOW GO GET THEM RIGHT NOW. I won't go anywhere else for ribs moving forward. We had the caramel volcano dessert the cake was a bought in cake that tasted of freezer burn and the plate was 80% whip cream. Seriously every dessert we saw was nothing but whip cream. Save your money on dessert.

You know when you go to a hyped up restaurant & it often fails to live up to the hype? This is one of those places that actually delivers. Food: delicious. Service: on point. My belly: full and happy. My favorite BBQ in general is brisket, but I'd never tried it here. I decided to stick with the pulled pork, knowing I would like that, & my husband ordered the slider trio of pork, chicken & brisket & promptly gave me the brisket (because he's great like that!!) It was some of the best brisket I've ever had: extremely tender, flavorful & smoky. We didn't get sauce put on it, though it is lightly marinated in their sweet sauce & that was perfect. My actual dinner, pork & potato, were also fantastic. Service was attentive & quick throughout the meal. I want more brisket! My husband also enjoyed his meal thoroughly.

Overall a nice dining experience. Service is always good. The bar prepares drinks quickly. Food is usually consistent. A few times I've been disappointed with the ribs, but I always have loved the 1/2 chicken, and shrimp. The plum sauce mixed with Chinese mustard is da bomb! I always ask for extra hot mustard bc I love it. Wedge salad is really good. It's always really cold and the bleu cheese dressing is pretty decadent. Usually eat here twice a month and always leave satisfied.

Booked a early reservation for Valentines Day here! Very pleased with everything. Highly recommend open table before coming. Many people waiting. We were seated right away and immediately had a server. Ordered the pick 2 combo. Half ribs and shrimp. Loved it. I don't recommend the sauce that came with the fried shrimp though. It was super spicy and mixed with jelly? Awkward taste. Service was excellent, felt a little rushed, but it was Vday and they had a line. Totally get it. Will certainly return!
