Logans is your run of the mill steakhouse. The peanuts and shells all over the place make you think of Texas Roadhouse, which I'm sure they copied the idea from. The steaks and chicken are par for the course, with flat screen tvs throughout, giving it a sportsbar feel. It's basically a cheaper version of Texas Roadhouse. Just went there for our Valentine's dinner, mostly because the parking lot wasn't full and we didn't expect a long wait. Folks, there's a reason the parking lot isn't full on a busy night. The place is just lacking, in service and flavor. I'm taking my 3 star rating down to two!

Please people....keep your attitudes in check when dealing with the public.... It is your job! I sat at the bar, had a drink...witnessed a waitress bad mouthing a customer to a coworker and my server complained about her job. I walked next door and thankful I did, happy, upbeat employees...greeted at door with a smile :)

I was so happy I decided to come here. The server, Jacob, was very attentive and made me feel right at home. Not to mention that the food was great and they give you a LOT of food for the price. Very happy :)

I always sit at the bar. Good service. Good prices. Cold beer. Good food. Introduce yourself to Richie the bartender. I travel a lot but stop by here once a month. Didn't take him long to remember my name or my drink.

A server so attentive, we didn't have the heart to point out the mistakes. Dropped in for burgers for lunch. The kids always appreciate the barrel of peanuts. Wife & I had burger plates. She asked for added salad. I asked for salad instead of french fries. We both got the salads we asked for. My burger came with fries anyway. They got our burgers confused. She asked for a Bacon cheeseburger Well done. I asked for a Route 66 (grillled onions & such) Med Well. They reversed the dressings for each, but we were able to sort it out, rather than toss it back to kitchen. Burger assembly wasn't what I went there for. But I took 2 kids, so I was handling food anyway. Speaking of kids. Mom-In-Law split a 3-slider entree with the kids. You know what those sliders were served on? The super-rich yeast rolls they serve. We never had empty glasses. Waitress was nice to our kids. She saw our girls poach croutons from adult salads, so she asked if she could just bring a bowl of croutons for the girls. Nice touch. The house salad was a nice basic salad. The red onions weren't overpowering. The greens were crisp. Next time, I'll just order the grilled steak salad. Don't wanna confuse the kitchen with an advanced burger order. On the plus side, we had a coupon from Sunday paper ($5 off an order over $20). I never pine for Logan's, but it IS one of the few restaurants my Mom-In-Law likes. So I go and eat and I don't leave hungry. Then I'll forget about it until the next time she visits.

I am one of the most laid back people when it comes to eating at a restaurant because I used to be a server. So if I've ordered something that isn't made correctly I'll just eat it anyways and not mind too much. Well. I went once and got the tilapia, and it tasted like I was eating a salt block. I mean, I like salt as much as the next person but I really don't care to chew on a salt block.. I mean I could do that in the privacy of my own home.. and I wouldn't even use the fish to cover my secret! But seriously, it was horrible and I had to send it back. They offered to remake it for me, but the taste was so bad that it killed my appetite completely. The next time I went I got something simple.. the cheesecake. I figured it'd be great and was sadly disappointed. It was a $7 piece of dessert and wasn't even worth $2 in my opinion. My boyfriend ordered a steak medium rare and when they brought it out, it may as well have stood up on the plate and started mooing. I think they forgot the "medium" part of that order. The server messed up our bill, and part of the order. I think she was new, and if that's the case it's understandable, but I've just had too many mishaps at this place to want to ever return. The only saving grace for this place is the rolls. They are amazing, and the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of the one I was planning on going with initially.

I wasn't over excited about the rolls as se people were.. Just kind of basic. Ordered my steak medium well (I usually prefer medium but was just thinking with the bigger cut better be safe) and it came well done. 1/4 the way trough it started to turn dry. Our waitress was a little over attentive but not to bad. Was going to give them 3 stars as the place is basically just average.. But when it came to pay.. I was embarrassed and disappointed. The wife's grandparents have us each a $50 chase gift card for Christmas and I handed both to the waitress for our $85 check. She stayed back for a while with them then 10ish minutes later came out and said that they have a lot of problems with those cards.. And that her manager was working on it. She said that they couldn't charge the whole $50 per card and had to charge less to run them through, something about leaving a space on them for a tip. 5 more minutes the manager comes out and says that he was able to charge $40 to them and that was all. I said that was fine and handed theme card and he charged the rest to that.. My wife, Being the smart wife she is decided to check the balance on those cards to see what was going on. She found that they charged the cards down to about $3 a piece. We got the waitress to get the manager again.. He came out and took the cards and said that he will take them and the meal is on him.. Well not really manager.. My meal was $85 and I gave you $100 in cards.. You still owe me $15.. I was going to give the waitress the extra $15 but still. At this time I could hear a couple families around us talking about card problems and glancing at us. I am not very good with those situations and started to get embarrassed so we grabbed our stuff and left. Sorry to ramble on about the trivial things but it could have been avoided if they just said the cards didn't work there or had a competent understanding of how their checkout system works. I'm sure most people won't run into this problem so in that case look at it as a three star place but I'm sticking with two due to what happened. I will not return...

The 3 stars is about right. It's OK. The restaurant is clean, minus the peanut shells everywhere. We were seated pretty quickly and the service was attentive. The food is ok. I don't think it's anything super exciting. The rolls are delicious if you can eat carbs. My steak was cooked well if a little over seasoned. My boyfriend was happy with his chicken tenders (anyone reading my reviews will think this is all he ever eats, they would be mostly right) . We will probably go here again, not often because we are pretty miserly with our money unless we get excited about some place. But if someone suggests it, we would go back. It's consistent and usually we don't leave there angry.

Some good, some bad... My family stopped here to eat on our way home after a week of visiting family, and eating out a lot. The idea was to save a good steak dinner for last. We didn't want to go into Cinci to get a good steak, so we chose Logans. I ordered a 6 oz sirloin medium/sweet potato loaded/salad, and my wife ordered a 6 oz sirloin medium well/baked potato/broccoli. My three year-old daughter had steak tips and fries. The fresh rolls were great, along with the strawberry lemonade. My house salad was decent, not very large-just right in size. The sweet potato was very good-baked, with marshmallows and brown sugar. My daughter ate all of the about 4 oz of steak tips-she enjoyed them. When it came to the steaks, it was not very flattering for a steak house. My steal was cooked to the right color, was seasoned well, and was the right size-my criticism was the quality of meat, it was a bit on the tough side. My wife took a few bites of hers and stopped. Since we had a baby with us to feed, she did not get the opportunity to send it back for being grossly undercooked. The waiter was gracious and had the dinner taken off the bill. The overall experience was okay. It is a chain restaurant, and the expectation was greater than what they could deliver on the primary reason people eat there.-the steak.

I've been to this location only once, but once was enough to make me not care to go back. Both mine, and my husband's steak was pretty bad. It was okay enough to be edible, but I wouldn't go any farther than that. I have been to the location in Knoxville, TN a few different times and I thought the food there was pretty good, then ago that was a long time ago so I can't be sure. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, if you're in the area and want steak, Longhorn is just down the street.

Food was just ok. My meal was not even close to what was described on the menu. The waitress seemed nervous and did not get our order right. It didn't seem all that clean, the menus felt dirty.

Sure the ambience is tacky, with peanut shells scattered all over the floor, but Logan's is always a consistently good place to eat. I've never once been displeased with the quality or taste of my meal or the level of service I've received. This regional chain focuses on carnivore delights such as steak, burgers, and ribs but also has a nice offering of semi-healthful options. For example, their Roadhouse Salad with Mesquite Grilled Chicken can be dieter friendly if you skip the bacon and cheese. The Sante Fe Tilapia is reasonably figure-friendly, especially if you order the grilled veggie skewer as a side item. Unlike bland, dried out versions I've had at other chains, Logan's skewers are fantastic. If you're not watching your weight, feel free to gorge yourself on the unlimited yeast rolls. Trust me these delicate, butter covered rolls are any-thing but health-conscious, but you have to at least have one. Or maybe another...another basket that is. Logan's steaks are consistently cooked to my requested temperature. For such reasonable prices, this pseudo-roadhouse will continue to be part of my eating out repertoire.

Fast service and very friendly staff. The menu is small but the food is really good! I had the Nashville buffalo chicken sandwich. Which was also very good.
