Ate here for first time and loved it. Cheese steak was real steak. Wife had pork chops with real mash potatoes that she enjoyed. Service was fast and friendly. We will be back. Curly fries were awesome!

Good atmosphere. Absolutely awful bread sticks & way over salted. Stick to drinks on the menu specialty drinks get made incorrectly.

Great beer prices and selection. very friendly staff. Barbecued ribs were good. SKIP the mashed potatoes.

Stopped in here for a quick lunch. Ordered a Cobb salad and coke. The salad was ok, but had very little actual lettuce on it. And they didn't bother to cut up the lettuce so I had to do that myself. I hate places that don't cut up lettuce and make you eat it like a cannibal or something. And it was low grade iceberg, no darker romaine blend. Not too impressed at $10.99 for the salad. To make matters worse, they charged me $2.50 for my coke and (get this), 50 cents for the salad dressing. So let me get this straight, I either have to eat the salad DRY or the true price is $11.49, right? Nothing like nickel and dining the customer to death without warning him. I've eating a lot of salads at a lot of restaurants and NEVER been charged separately and extra for salad dressing. Oh, and the men's bathroom was NASTY DISGUSTING. I won't be back.

Came through on Sunday. Everything we ate was good. Best thing to get is the wings. Garlic extra got. Average drink prices. I had wings onion rings and a sweet tea.18$

I'm not sure why there are so many reviews calling this place a "wing joint" as its not touted primarily for any dish or kind of food. Its a family owned hometown restaurant plain and simple with a good choice of comfort foods and other things you wouldnt expect. Theres really something for everything here... including my personal favorite, the ribs. Dont go in expecting the same kind of stuff you get a longhorn or something like that. The cooks and staff are all local and the place is more like having dinner at your familys house than in a chain restaurant. The service is generally always good, and the food is generally good as well. if you want to take your kids or little ones, go on a night when theres not a big game on tv.

Had high hopes going in, service was good but food took a long time to come out. The wings were terrible, vey over cooked, almost like they had been in the bottom of the deep fryer all day! I did enjoy the Cajun Curley fries, My wife had a quesadilla and it was pretty good. But for a wing place, 2 stars.

Buffalo Bob's had great fried appetizers!! The pickles didn't fall apart when you dipped them and the mushrooms didn't squirt hot fryer oil into your mouth when you dug in. The jalapeños were fresh and delicious. This is standard family restaurant fare but it is done well and done right. The blue cheese dressing was extra delicious. Our server was super friendly and reminded me of "that friendly good-natured aunt" everyone has. I had a hot chicken tender sandwich for lunch and I will definitely be back to try the wings.

Food was ok. Seemed like it needed a good cleaning. Service was good.

I'm a chicken wing connoisseur, and this place does them right. I go on Tuesdays (which is when they have a special on them) and get them with blue cheese & celery. I like 'em extra hot & extra wet! I do take issue with one of the other reviewers here, though. Buffalo sauce is traditionally a blend of a hot sauce with butter, with the proportion determining the rating of "mild, medium, hot, etc..", so there should have been no surprise to find that the mild sauce is mostly butter. Citation: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bu… My only qualm with this place is that the waitstaff can be slow or forgetful at times, though it hasn't stopped me from being a repeat customer.

Cannot believe they call this a family restaurant. Do not go here unless you want your kids to smoke a couple of cigarettes in the form of second hand smoke. It is overwhelmingly thick. I walked in just to pick up a go order and now u have to go home and wash my jacket and have been sneezing ever since I left. Doesn't matter how good the food is, I'll never be back as I cannot stand cigarette smoke. What a shame. "Family" restaurant. Really?

I've been coming to Buffy Bob's for years. I've tried wings at just about every other restaurant in the area. Buffy Bob's are the BEST wings in NKY! The wings are crispy, flavorful, and tender. Fried pickles and waffle fries are also excellent. The pickles are made with dill spears and rolled in spicy batter before deep frying. However, the service at Buffy's is hit or miss, and usually on the unattentive side. But if you go for the wings and/or fried pickles, you will not be disappointed.

This place was recommended from a friend...Best wings anywhere he said. So as my mouth watered thinking about "fall off the bone, juicy, flavorful wings" - I tell my SO we have to go here for lunch. It's even close to work. Greeting was friendly. Server was very good. Restroom disappointing that they weren't fully stocked with the most important item...and they just opened. Good thing I caught that in time:) I ordered 8 wings medium sauce. They lay wings in a pool of liquid...but that didn't even make them juicy or tasty. They were so dried out. I don't know if they over cooked them or re-cooked them or what. Sooooo disappointing. I was expecting juicy and tasty. Drowning them in ranch helped. I usually give a place a couple bad visits before I review them low...but to be honest...I probably won't go back. I do wish, when the server asked how everything was...I would have told him.

I used to have mixed feelings about Buffalo Bob's, because although I love their garden salad with grilled chicken and Bleu cheese dressing, I could not tolerate the smoky atmosphere. Well, as luck would have it, they have gone non-smoking. Hooray! Did I mention the Bleu cheese dressing? Yes, yes I did. Why? Because it is the best I have EVER tasted. The port they add makes all the difference in the world. Try it and you'll likely agree!

I have to disagree with some of the other reviews. My husband and I love their wings. The blue cheese dressing is the best. We have always had good service and food is always served timely and hot.

Good wings but the smoke from the bar overtakes you and lowers the experience, stinks the clothes and shortens your stay.

Food: one star Service: three stars Ambience: two stars I was really craving a buffalo chicken sandwich, but unfortunately Buffalo Bob's sadly disapointed. I asked for my sandwich mild, but when I bit into it the sauce had absolutely no flavor to it at all. It was just melted butter! I flagged down the server, who said that it was indeed their mild sauce and I said "But it's just butter." And she said "Well that's our mild sauce." So I asked for a side of medium sauce, which had a little bit of heat but would definitely be considered mild at any other wing joint. The problem with my sandwich wasn't just the sauce, however. I was hoping for a crispy chicken cutlet, but got two wimpy chicken tenders that were obviously frozen.

Not really worth your time as there are many other much, much better wing joints in the area. The wings are very small and severely overlooked (I've been here twice and both times this has happened) and the sauces are purely grease and butter and lack all flavor. Though their wings are lacking they have great alcohol prices. In my opinion, spend a but more of your money somewhere else and get better eats.

This is a pretty good Restaurant with good food the only problem is the service is inconsistent. They have soup, sandwiches, wings and adult beverages. Give them a try if you are looking for this type of food. I recommend trying the curly fries.

There is nothing better than a basket of Bob's wings. I left Cincy two years ago and I still miss Bob's every happy hour.

Save your money and go elsewhere. Although the happy hour alcohol prices are good, you will need to leave and go somewhere else to drink when you leave this place. UNRULY children abound. We had a child crawling under our feet to retrieve the ball that he and his sister were throwing up and down the aisle!!! We were surrounded by tables of screaming, crying children. Parents and management oblivious. Although the restaurant has a 'non-smoking area,' it is just a section of tables not near the smoking area. My clothes are all at the dry cleaners having the horrible smoke odor removed from them. The food is typical bar grub. Greasy and just okay. I have had much better wings at numerous other local establishments.

WOW! Best traditional Buffalo style wings around. Great menu. Great for sports and goups. Take the kids, take the whole family. We went with a large group and were seated right away and the food was excellent....including the macaroni and cheese.

Being that my grandparents live very close to Bob's and that most of my family likes wings we've eaten here often. I haven't been disappointed by the service or by the food any of the multiple times I've eaten here. We usually get wings and fries but this last visit that we ate in I had a buffalo chicken wrap. The wrap was so good and spicy! I also had curly fries, which are always good. The best fries you can get at Bob's are the Cajun dusted fries, you can also get cheese to dip the fries in (cheese makes everything better!). The salads are all good as well and the wings are delicious if you pick up or eat in. I suggest Bob's any chance I get!
