I know many have lots to complain about this location but when you have never been to a Bob Evans restaurant before, there is hardly anything to compare it to. The whole experience was phenomenal. We loved the staff and definitely loved the food! The sirloin steak served with one of our meals was definitely of five star quality. As needed Floridians, having fresh Florida's orange juice is the biggest plus. This is now opened up our taste buds for Bob Evans restaurants and we cannot wait to experience more.

I have never been to prison but I imagine the farm favorite burger is a fair representation of what a burger in prison would taste like. My husband ordered the farmers market omelet and what came out looked and smelled like something that had been thrown in yesterday's trash. Our poor waitress was overwhelmed by her three tables because every table was in the mist of a order gone wrong. The manager came over to apologize which I suppose was a good faith attempt to mitigate the situation. Overall the experience was terrible.

Bob Evans has never let me down. Every location, every meal. The Florence location was no different! Had my go to, The Homestead. This is a breakfast for when you are REALLY hungry. I've finished off the whole thing twice. It's two eggs, home fries, choice of meat, two biscuits and a bowl of sausage gravy. Oh my goodness that gravy is good. I used to work for BE back in the day and I made hundreds of gallons of that gravy. It's made in house. For a product that good and that consistent to be made fresh is impressive. And the people they have cooking here know eggs. I get them over easy which is not, as the name might imply, easy. The things go from runny whites to overcooked in the blink of an eye if you're not paying attention. Never had them anything other than perfect at any Bob Evans. I'd like to say that the service here was exceptional because it was so good but it's good at every location I've ever eaten at. I'm a big fan of this company. They really do things right.

Wow, their BROASTED chicken is so juicy! I don't like to review chains because you figure they are the same, but after eating their chicken, I had to let you know. I've been to several places lately that say they have the best chicken, but I usually leave disappointed by the dried out bones and skin. So now I found the best here at Bob Evans. So juicy!! Broasted is pressure cooking mixed with deep frying. I guess this method is the reason it was so good. Give it a try. The green beans are awesome too.

I don't get it. It reminded me of the type of food that is served at IHOP; just okay, mediocre food. I ordered the half soup and sandwich and just stared at my pot roast sandwich which seemed more like a 1/4 sandwich. The entire bottom of my sandwich was soaked with meat juice, but not in the cool Italian beef sandwich way. It was more like a messy, greasy gravy. And my broccoli cheese soup was just watery and didn't seem to taste like anything. The only redeeming quality was my dining partner said his broasted chicken (chicken that's been fried in a pressure cooker?) was really good and the biscuits they handed out were yummy.

I stopped by here recently as I haven't eaten at a Bob Evans in some time. This place did not serve up service and food as I remember. I did stop in at about 8pm. No one at the front to greet me. I had to wave someone down. The food came quickly enough and was done ok. Some of the food was cold though and the serving size was small. The biscuits were greasy tasting and nothing like I have had in the past. I could have walked out after eating an no one would have noticed. I had to wait a while before anyone knew I was ready to pay my bill. Still tipped 20% because the table service was good. It will be some time before I try a Bob Evans again.

The following review is for Bob Evans in general... First of all this review is for out of towners, because the locals all ready know what Bob Evans is all about... So for all you out of towners like myself, PLEASE don't pass up the opportunity to have breakfast at Bob Evans... Especially the BISCUITS and GRAVY... You will be thanking me after it makes your tongue slap your brains out!!!

Our breakfast at Bob Evans was surprisingly good. It was my first time in this area and I'd never been to one before. I'm used to really good breakfast places back home which have AMAZING food so I was a little worried about going to a chain restaurant, and to be fair, a couple of their items did have a "crappy chain breakfast restaurant" taste to them, but most of it was delicious. You could tell that they cook their eggs using butter or something along those lines because they didn't have that fake or vegetable oil taste (though the yolk was too runny). The grits were cooked just how I like them, and the biscuits and gravy were fantastic! Seriously, I was enjoying my meal well enough, but when we got to the biscuits and gravy I turned to my friends and said "do we HAVE to go back home? Can we just stay here?" Absolutely agree with Peter C - GET THE BISCUITS AND GRAVY!!! Now, on to the other things: The bacon was so-so, just your basic bacon. I had the blueberry crepe and while it tasted good as a whole, the individual elements were very fake... the "vanilla cream cheese" didn't have the consistency of actual cream cheese and the blueberry syrup tasted like liquefied and watered down blueberry candy. Bob Evans was a pleasant change from most breakfast chains (which tend to make the bathroom your new friend afterwards). It was satisfying and for the most part tasted wholesome and good, instead of greasy and questionable like you get at IHOP or Dennys. Given the selection of breakfast joints in this area, I don't think I'd be too far off if I said this was your best bet.

This was my first Bob Evans experience and I was very satisfied!!!! I ordered the Meat Loaf with Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans. This meal was the perfect comfort for a weary traveler. Perfect portions were served piping hot! The meat loaf was perfectly seasoned and the potatoes were creamy and totally lump free. This is the perfect place for comfort food. I would love to see this restaurant in the Minneapolis / St Paul area.

Sunday morning breakfast, understand slow service if the place is busy but the place is half empty and service is horrible. Not the first time. But the last time. First Watch or Cracker Barrel from now on.

Always love Bob Evans but had the best experience at this location. After a delay in being waited on i was starting to get disappointed. But after another waitress from another section took over and helped us we had the most wonderful meal and was very thankful. The manager was fantastic also. And to be clear the first waitress who didnt get to us quick enough was extremely busy so i am not complaining about her. But i wad glad we got the other server my wife and i both loved her.

I ordered a farm fresh omelet. It was fantastic!! The vegetables were fresh and the egg nice and moist. It came with a side of home fries and biscuits. The server did a great job of getting the orders right...my friend who was with me is deaf & the server made every effort to make sure her Oder was right. I know some Bob Evans are that great, but this one is on my list of being a good one. The restrooms are very clean and they make an effort to keep the place looking sharp.

Really people?!? Five stars for Bob Evans? I'm not saying you can't get a nice breakfast here, but come on! Any place with pictures on the placemats is not fine dining. One star just to make up for the inflated reviews.

Bob Evans down in the farm, love there jingle. I love Bob Evans home cooking , especially there breakfast. My favorite breakfast is there sausage and gravy....mmmmm good. There biscuits are fresh and taste great. There beef and noodle are to die for, yummy. I got o admit there service is outstanding. Food comes out very fast. They keep here restaurant clean and up to date, especially there Florence Kentucky dream street location. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We couldn't wait to get into Bob Evans country on this trip, and stopped at the first one we saw. Absolutely fantastic service at this location! I had their all-you-can-eat soup and salad offer (awesome) and my bf went right for his favorite, the chicken pot pie. Delicious as always. Very nice location, newly renovated. Very bright and pleasant.

When my friend and I were staying in Florence we ate at Bob Evans 3 times because it turned out to be such a comfortable, reliable choice. The first day we were there it was their grand reopening--they had just remodeled the interior and added a bakery (and boy, were they proud of that bakery!). We didn't try any of their baked goods but the restaurant was clean and appealing, the staff was very friendly, and the food is tasty at reasonable prices. For dinner I had a grilled cheese sandwich and fries and my friend had some sort of chicken and a loaded baked potato--all pretty good. We had a variety of breakfast dishes for our other meals and they were equally good (although my oatmeal took a bit too long to arrive, but we weren't in any hurry). I wish we had this chain in California, although, to be honest, if we did I don't know how much I would eat there. But the next time I'm traveling (or in Kentucky . . . ) and see a Bob Evans, I'll know it's a safe bet!
