I am giving this location 3 stars only because the service was great. If you like or know what real Mexican food or Tex-Mex is and should taste like DO NOT eat here. I will say I did not try any of their drinks so they may be good for that. The queso (cheese dip) tasted like it was that can stuff with a powder cheese under tone. The tortilla did not taste fresh. Over all will not be back

My husband and I decided to give this place a try, even though we had read the poor yelp reviews. No, it doesn't make sense but just go with it, lol. The scenery and friendliness is on point. They were very sweet to my kids, even servers that weren't assigned to our table were coming by to see our girls. My kids also enjoyed their meals, despite the very poor presentation of the food. (I'm not sure I've ever seen macaroni look so unappetizing in my life; however my toddler devoured it. That's the important thing right?) these two things are the only reason for my one star. I'm a picky eater and ordered a taco salad with only meat cheese and sour cream. (I like taco salad shells- don't judge me) we were our servers ONLY table and she even kind of giggled when taking my order, asking me to hold to make sure she didn't forget. When my food came, my taco salad was LOADED with lettuce and beans. Unmistakably piled high. I suppose she thought she would take her chances and see if I would deal with it? Lol no. When I got my replacement, I couldn't even eat it because of how gross it tasted. Taco Bells meat tastes better on their very worst day and I even think THAT resembles the taste of dog food. At this point, I gathered that I just wasn't eating lunch. My husband ordered the brisket without the BBQ sauce on it. Low and behold, his very stale, burnt & tough brisket came with BBQ sauce on top of it. He's far less confrontational than I am so the waitress was fortunate that he decided to just deal with it, lol. I wouldn't have. We won't be returning. If you just want a nicely decorated rustic ambiance and friendly servers to socialize with, by all means, this is the place for you. However if you want real food and it done right the first time (or to even taste anything like food) go somewhere else to take your chances.

1st it's a chain so, not super by any means, but the rating is based on knowing that walking in . Really fast service, good food and some corny decorations, but I can't complain.

I wish there was an option below 1 star for this restaurant. I went with my family of five and a very large group. I ordered a taco salad. I suppose technically bc there was lettuce involved it could be called a salad but a more appropriate title would be refried bean with lots of shredded lettuce. It was supposed to have chicken but only a few pieces came on my salad. The whole thing consisted of tortilla chips, lettuce, a fee very burnt pieces of chicken and a whole can of refried beans! My husband also got a salad and it wasn't much better. A couple of my kids got pizza in a kids meal. I know you shouldn't usually rate a restaurant based on a kids meal but I think if I went to Walmart and bought a microwave pizza it would have been better. To top it all off....we paid $50 for this very poor food! Never ever again!

Second visit to the Tumbleweed. Learned my lesson from the first time. I ordered the ribs again, without sauce, and this time I ordered two sides of the skillet fried vegetables. As before, both dishes were perfectly cooked and prepared. I will be back, maybe one time try a steak. Definitely a fan of the dry rub on the ribs!!

service took 4 mins to be greeted then 3 more mins to drink order . Ordered the meal at that time and it took 7mins to get chips and salsa and drinks ! Food followed 5 mins latter . Server checked on our food saying I didn't know you got your food after 5 mins of eating ! Amanda P " our server " checked on us twice , dropped our check with our food . Had to get someone else to run our bill to pay out ! Never saw her again ! Amanda P was very sweaty and constantly rubbing her forehead while handling food ! Will never be sat with that server ! Ever !

Hopefully we encountered this business on an off day. Hostess was dirty looking and not very welcoming. Waiter was generally nice enough but inefficient. Spilled water over customer next to us, botched up our food and replied "Are you serious"? when we ordered coffee. The food was mediocre at best. The bar looked nice. I think I would try another business before I returned here.
