Excellent, friendly service and food was very good. We had the catfish and the jumbo grilled shrimp. Shrimp was a bit spicy for me but otherwise very good. You get a choice of mayonnaise or vinegar based coleslaw and all you can eat of white beans and hush puppies. Busy puppies were very tasty!

Food was just ok, service very good, Big surprise was at check out when I was informed that their credit card machine was not working. They viewed that as my problem and expected me to Immediately come up with $52 in cash as if it was my fault the machine was broken. They did have a small hand written sign on the door which nobody in my party of four saw.

I love this restaurant chain. It is a nice stop for lunch or dinner on your way to Nashville. It is a bit folksy, but I can live with it for the great catfish, both fried and blackened. They make this awesome every time, I come through here. The offer most of their food family style. Just sitting down gets you: 1 The best hush puppies anywhere! These are crunchy, moist and sweet. Classic style. I would love to have a chance to get them with jalapenos, or onions, but alas, they create the perfect puppy! 2. Really good pinto beans! These are perfect in consistency ( a little soupy), and with bacon aand onion. Very good. 3. Very blah cole slaw. Not a big fan of mayo based slaw and this has a lot of mayo and not much seasoning. Others clearly like it. I also ordered the frog legs. They were great as well. This place knows how to fry things!! There was so much food I did not even touch my baked potato! On a down note, there is a 4% service charge on credit cards, but it is ridiculously cheap to eat here.

Went in with a group of 10 on a Sat. afternoon/night, and the wait was a very manageable 15 minutes, which is nice when they're not many restaurants in the area. When you sit down and after you order, they bring out bowls of white navy beans and hush puppies- the beans were fantastic since they were probably cooking for hours, so they were nice and done. The hush puppies were soaked in the oil they cook their fish in, and you could taste it. Good if you're having fish, not so much when you're not. Ordered Pork chops, and they were very small, center- cut, very dried out. I was expecting two nice chops for twelve bucks, but I got two small, dried out pieces of meat and a half-cooked baked potato. There were other problems during the dinner- one of the people in the group ordered grilled shrimp that was cold to the touch, and most of the potatoes weren't cooked through. You can do better around there-we went to a BBQ place that would give you a better bang for your buck.

Food was horrible I'm from Texas I know fried food and I definitely know fried fish grow up on it the fish was very bland no seasoning of any kind and also had real bad fishy oder to me I will not come back to this place again...

Wandered off the interstate and found this place. Nice and fast wait staff. Free hand made hushpuppies and white bean soup that was wonderful. The tarter sauce and bean relish sauce were awesome! The catfish was light and flaky and the shrimp was lightly fried. Fries were alright but not great so would recommend the baked potato.

Food and service are great. They bring a big bowl of hushpuppies to the table, plus individual servings of coleslaw and navy bean soup, all three are refillable for free. Cobbler portions are huge, so be careful you can over eat easily.

Good selection of catfish, frogs-legs, chicken and steak. Good flavors for the grilled food. Of course fried if you want. They take checks but add 4% for credit card. They do allow you to put tip on card.
