Original art, and not that "artsy" bull shit. Real Art. Paintings that make breakfast matter. Historically correct water color. Surrealism in the morning of our Lord Judy Castle. ....off band ketchup doe wtf.

Quick, but nothing special for a diner.

Judy's Castle is a locally owned and operated dining establishment that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The place seems popular among the locals and even draws in the nearby college students from the university. It is a good place to satisfy the hunger cravings and the food is what one would expect to find in such an establishment. I suppose what would separate Judy's Castle out from the rest of the local diners is their wonderful homemade pies. The establishment serves not only as a place to eat but given some of the clientele it can sometimes serve as a place to catch up on current events and local gossip. It should be noted that the place is closed on Sundays. Also, given its small down home feel that is provided both by the staff and building's interior the place can become pretty crowded in a hurry. I write this to say that if one is planning on eating there that they might want to phone ahead to inquire if the place is overly crowded or just arrive to the place early before the peak hours.

BREAKFAST: Fantastic local diner / greasy spoon for breakfast... the special is a great deal and the food arrives within minutes!! We ate here several days in a row - the food arrived quickly and was always very tasty!.

I'm not really a breakfast person, but I can go for some good eggs n bacon action once in a while. Judy's Castle served it up pretty darn well. I got home fries which were SUPER salty. I still ate them, but i mean, dang. really cheap food and tastes good for what you get. My biscuit was awesome! The waitress was attentive to our table's coffee cups, and you can tell the locals like to hang here.

Brilliant country ham. Friendly. No one knows who Judy is or was, but they've got a great sign, and the world headquarters is nearby.

This is a down home type of restaurant. I tried it for breakfast.. it was great. I had the breakfast special that includes 2 eggs, bacon or sausage, hashbrowns, grits or gravy and biscuits or toast ..all for 4.75. It is not skimpy either. I had to leave food. If you are looking for fancy or gourmet, this is not the place, but if good old fashioned food is what you are in the mood for... this is the place! Decor is a bit out dated, but staff is great and friendly.

Never tried lunch at Judy's Castle! But Breakfast is always a go to for mornings on the weekend... Always busy, but still get great service and food is excellent! :)

Typical diner menu. Fast friendly service. Country ham is very salty as usual, "city" ham is deli sliced ham.

Lemme just Start by describing the place: two houses considered part of Judy's Castle. One is the main restaurant; the other advertises for the International Headquarters of Judy's Castle. I ordered the pancakes, bacon, sweet tea, and shared biscuits and white gravy. the pancakes are order by number. At first i was like 'huh?' but when I saw that thy came bigger than my head, I knew what they deal was and was relieved I ordered two. The bacon was average; unfortunately, it was slightly burnt :-/ The sweet tea was good. The biscuit reminded me of KFC and the gravy could've been used to secure the ceramic tiles on my bathroom floor. All in all, the food was good. And judging by the increasing influx of regulars, they think so too.

This is definitely a local dive. And back in the day, before the interstate system, was probably one of THE places to go. The food is super cheap ($4.25 breakfast special) and the service is good.
