I never knew how delicious a tomato could be until I had a turkey sandwich on rye bread here with pickles, cheese, and tomatoes. Because of you, Amish store, I sneer at all other tomatoes. I will never be the same. Best deli in town. I love a good sandwich and Amish store never disappoints me. I can't say the same for the soup but the sandwiches are soooo delicious! Great portion for the price too. The store has a lot of cool looking products (I only come for the turkey sandwiches! lol).

Bulk foods and candies galore. Mostly meats, grains, flour, butter, canned/jarred goods, and candy. Nice stop!

I enjoy the bulk spice section and the kids love the bulk candy. If you're not careful you can spend a small fortune in this place. The deli has some yummy sandwiches at very reasonable prices. If you're driving through Berea via 75, stop and pick up a few things.

This is a decent sized store, complete with a deli section. They sell bulk foods, such as candies. Walking in, you are entrapped in the aroma of all their spices. I went to try the homemade icecream, and ordered a single scoop. For a single scoop, they allowed you to pick two different flavors, half of one flavor and half of another. I just had a scoop of vanilla, and it was delicious. I do think it's unique that they allow a single scoop to be divided into two flavors, though. I don't know of any ice cream place that would do that.

Love this place! Haven't tried the prepared foods like breads, ice cream, etc. This is a great place to get cheap spices in bulk!!!

Had been hearing wonderful things about this place, and decided I had to have some Amish cheese. OMG...this cheese makes every cheese I've ever eaten taste like plastic. It's so good...I'll make a point of buying some every time I'm in the area. There were all kinds of spice and things in bulk, even some crafts. Mostly healthy ... some maybe not so healthy (pickled eggs?) Those eggs kind of cracked me up. I didn't buy any. There was also a restaurant portion. I'll be trying that out next time as well! Eveyrone looked happy sitting there stuffing their faces with delish looking food. Everyone was friendly and helpful, even wishing us a safe trip home. Location is uber simple...right off I-75. Try it...you'll be glad you did.

We stopped here on our way home from a weekend in Gatlinburg instead of stopping at a greasy fast food joint. The food was fine, but it was a great price and the people working there were very friendly. There is a cute little shop to walk around in with some neat furniture, spices, breads, etc. We would definitely stop here again if we were passing through.

I have to say if you are into healthy foods, this is a great place to find what you want! This entire store is dedicated to providing healthy food alternatives many of which come straight from the Amish country. You can find organic pastas, beans, oats, and even trail mix. In addition, there are loads of The store prides off of its famous Amish butter which is made from the first cream of milk, while most other butters are by products of the milk and cheese. One devout customer even noted that it is "SO much better than regular butter, you can no doubt taste the difference." This store also offers meats and cheeses that cannot be found anywhere else locally. There is a deli offers fresh meats that you can eat in the clean, homey environment of the dining area towards the back of the store. Aside from the wonderful food options inside the store, there is also a wonderful Farm Fresh Produce stand that is also linked to the store. The stand sells tomatoes, apples, lettuce, squash, and many other fresh fruits and vegetables. But get this! The majority are locally grown on nearby farms in Kentucky. The owners try to sell as much produce from Kentucky farms as the can, representing that KY PRIDE! Overall this is a fantastic store with great health food options! My recommendation is that you check out this store soon. It is not something you want to miss!!

Nice folks working at the store. Ordered a couple of deli sandwiches with all the fixins. Very fresh and made with love. Yum. Much better than most places you would stop for a quick lunch. I also purchased a loaf of bread to take home. It was excellent toasted with butter and jelly! Give it a try!

This is probably one of my most favorite businesses in the Berea area. If you are into great quality produce, various food products that are from KY or traditional Amish communities, or crafts then this is your go to place. You can also come in and have a bite to eat at their deli... Which doesn't disappoint considering you get a good amount of food for a low price. They have many different sandwiches to choose from as well as different types of breads, cheeses, etc. if you're in the mood for some KY Proud food or other goodies swing by Old Town Amish store.

Growing up in D.C. we always used to visit the Amish Market; so, on a road trip through Kentucky I was pleasantly surprised to see a logo on that bright blue sign advertising Old Town Amish Market. Y'all, this place is awesome! I'd road trip back up 75 just to visit. Kevin P. and I each had a giant sandwich (at only $4 each!) stacked with Boarshead freshly sliced deli meats. My roast beef with cheddar reminded me of the sandwich my grandmother would prepare when we visited her during the summer. While we were waiting on our order we scoured the market taking in the insane amount of homemade jams, preserves, jellies, pies, candies, pasta, popcorn, honey...all sourced by local vendors in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. They even offer homemade ice cream. Next time you're on I-75 going through Kentucky, be sure to check out this place (Berea Exit 76). It's right off the interstate with ample parking, clean bathrooms and great staff. Now this is my type of rest stop.

Food = 2 (awful greasy pulled pork + terrible potato salad + uneatable cole slaw = 9.00) Price = 2 (see above) Experience = 2 (the terribly disorganized store has a lot of things...)

Best deli in town, no question. Everything is made to order. They have daily soups and homemade ice cream as well. Plus you can shop around for healthy snacks while you wait on your lunch.

Very cool spot! Lots of local products and amazing Amish dairy products. Not a lot of the product have expiration dates though and that worries me. Just sayin. I stop here as often as possible... And only buy things with expiration dates and/or things preserved in jars. haha Nice wood chairs and other random carpentry items as well. Def check it out.

The Old Amish Store is absolutely amazing. I walked in and I was surrounded by freshness. Some of the items are a little over priced, but I love the atmosphere and the delightful staff. I was greeted kindly and was asked if I needed anything and that brought a smile to my face. The homemade ice cream is something you cannot pass up. If you get a chance go there, you won't regret it!

The store is opened about three years ago, this store has the KY Proud and the store itself which is consisted of three sections: groceries, food, and art craft. KY proud is located right in front of the Amish store and it provides the community with fresh farm produce which some of them are from KY and the rest from outside of the state. The store is opened about three years ago. I checked KY Proud out and I liked it, fresh produce in an open relaxing spot. In the store you can eat, buy your groceries, and an art craft if you are a fan of it.

It's not the most authentic amish store you'll ever come in contact with. The sandwiches are great though, and my favorite is anything with the horseradish cheddar. It is about five dollars for chips and a hearty sandwich, so very affordable.

At the end of a long commute home, I found myself in a rush to pick up a loaf of bread for dinner. Unwilling to subject myself to Wal-Mart (it was just too long of a day to face ...well... Wal-Mart), I stopped at the Amish Store instead. I'm glad I did. I purchased an amazing loaf of dense homemade slightly chewy Salt Rising bread as well as a mini homemade pecan pie to split with the husband. The pie was PERFECT. We will be back again and again. Oh - I forgot to mention the prices were great.
