Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

This is a basic Chinese/Asian inspired buffet. (While there is an option to order food from a menu it often leads to chaos.) The buffet hosts a wide variety of asian treats including sushi. There is a small selection of cakes and ice creams for dessert but the main attractions are the soups and chicken entrées. Service is good, but not great. Often - I have noticed - when I order water I will not be asked if I need/want a refill.

Sushi is decent. Nothing special. Buffet food is okay. Again, nothing special. Standard low/medium quality Asian buffet fare. The biggest issues are rude wait staff and absolutely disgusting restrooms. When staff is ready for you to be done, they notoriously deliver check and never return. Were also rude when my wife asked for California Roll sushi ("There's enough other sushi out there. We are NOT making more.") when the California Roll was out. Cleanliness leaves MUCH to be desired. I honestly don't know how they pass health inspections sometimes. Friendliness matches the cleanliness. Again, food's okay. It's really the people and place that truly ruin it.

I only come here for the sushi and the seafood - which they usually do AWESOME at. The sushi here is just as good as Taste of Asia but nowhere as expensive.

The sushi is good but that's about it. Most of the items on the buffet are in my opinion low quality. The staff doesn't speak English very well and that can be challenging sometimes. If you go here I'd recommend going for lunch, the lunch price is reasonable but the dinner price is to high for the quality of the food.

I've eaten here several times over the years. I've always enjoyed the food. I just ate there this evening and it was very good. Last time they would not turn the air conditioning on and it was miserable. My boss ate there the other day and said the same thing. I will come back but I will always check if the air is on before eating anything there lol.

This is the best Chinese buffet in town! The main reason it is so good is because there is such a wide range of food to choose from. The quality of the food is pretty good too. I would give it a 7 out of 10.

I had a California roll as take out, and it was very yummy and fresh!!!

I was prejudiced against this place. I've ate there many times. It's not my favorite Chinese place in Ashland (China Wok). My new diet strategy is to eat at places I don't like in order to lose weight. For starters it's a "buffet". I hate buffets. You are just eating what other people don't want. I always order off the menu which can often really throw the places for a loop because of poor English. Mongolian Chicken is my meal of choice. For some odd reason that is rarely on the menu. The meal wasn't horrible as it often is at places I'm unfamiliar with. Not spicy enough. Tasted more like Moo Goo Gai Pan(sic). Too many green peppers. Not enough Hoisin sauce or chile sauce. Another personal observation. Chinese restaurants in Ashland always start off with hot Asian chicks and the longer in business the less attractive the waitresses. Heck China Wok doesn't even utilize Asian waitresses. I hate that. It seems unnatural. Ashland Mandarin's grand opening you'd think it was an Asian Hooters. Within 6 months the waitresses were pretty shabby. I'm still waiting for a decent mexican restaurant with good looking senioritas. Its always WAITERS at mexican restaurants.
