Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Pretty neat place. Could use a little style inside, but I'm guessing most people dont go for style. They go for beer and pizza, what they're known for. DUH! Anyway, I didn't actually have pizza, I had the Mac and Cheese with grilled chicken. BOMB! Service was good, but it wasn't that busy so it's hard to tell what they're like under pressure. Seemed like very nice people though. Prices were decent and on part with the quality of the food and service. I will definitely be coming back when I'm in town again!

Grumpy hostess with no sense of humor Large beer selection Worst salad that in my life Pizza was just ok I'm surprised at the ratings for this place bc it was not all that.

WBC is a fine choice if you want to sample an interesting variety of house-brewed beers, but I found the food just ho-hum. From a beer standpoint, the 4-flight sampler was great and very reasonably priced. It allowed me to take a chance on unusual beers like the cask mild English Ale from the beer engine - basically an uncarbonated beer that's served warmer than what we're used to here in the States. While I didn't care for it, I definitely appreciated getting to try something different. I thought the Belgian Quad and Valleyview Port were outstanding. I love wood-fired pizza, and my mouth was watering upon seeing the gorgeous wood-fired oven in the corner, but WBC's version was a let-down. I ordered the Gregorian Feast with sausage, mozzarella cheese, roasted garlic and carmelized onions. They did everything right on the toppings, but the crust was soft and yielding and didn't have that wood-fired crispiness. Its flavor wasn't any more interesting than a saltine cracker. The experience was like eating a gourmet sandwich on Wonder bread. For me the crust is the foundation of a great wood-fired pizza, and it doesn't matter what you build on it if you don't get that right. I also had a few bites of their mac and cheese. Boring. If you love basic elbow noodles with American cheese, you'll probably enjoy - but if you're looking for an interesting twist on an old favorite, you won't find it at WBC.

I thought this was a cool little place, if you a beer drinker this is heaven in Wichita and I'm a pizza lover and I know this makes reviews about the pizza but I liked it and thought it was original had its own style and everyone was friendly and going outdoor seating, cool place overall, definitely worth the trip
(4)Geary J.
Stopped in on 05/25/2015 around 1pm. Walked in and was able to grab a couple of seats at the bar. After looking at the list of in house brews, ordered a IPA and checked the place out. Very clean, service was fantastic, and the food was served fast, hot, and tasty! When in Wichita, we'll be back!
(5)Deryk R.
Im a terrible yelper... I'm writing my review, looking around for a good pic and all I have left are empty plates and empty pint glasses. My advice: whatever you order will be fantastic! Enjoy, yelpers!!
(5)J S.
Good selection of IPAs. We had 4 types of pizza, beer cheese pretzel bites, a couple of calzones and pasta. Everything is fresh but not much flavor. I was underwhelmed by their food. I feel is a bit pricey for what it is. So....come for the beer.

We were waiting to fly home to California and happen upon this place. Friendly staff. We had a few wheat beers and a Pesto sandwich, Italian dip sandwich which was both delicious and filling.
(5)Caitlyn S.
Although not my favorite pizza joint in Wichita, I am always happy to go to WBC. Their beers are pretty superb, and add that to some pretty good pizza = success. I don't know why I'm not as swept away with the pizza as everyone else seems to be, but it's probably because I think every wood fired pizza tastes the same. I also don't want to give them a full five stars, because I wish they had more fun veggie friendly options. I usually have to convince the waitress to make some crazy combo or sub in some veggies for the meat. The pizzas and beer are a good price, however, and they have some bomb dessert pizza. This is a great place for Wichita, and it's definitely worth the trip out west.

Went again with a group of friends this past week and was almost more impressed than the last time! Their new beer queso and pretzels app is awesome! And the 4 pizzas we got were also great, especially one of their new ones with buffalo and honey on it, definitely one to try again. We topped it off with a 5th and final pizza: their smores dessert pizza. Wish it had more peanut butter and less chocolate, but still awesome. Be aware though, the longer you sit and drink their yummy beers or homemade root beer, the more hungry you get. You will find yourself eating almost an entire pizza because of the thin (but perfectly soft) crust. If you haven't been yet, you must go!
(5)Meghan S.
They have a great beer selection. You can't go wrong with any of the pizzas!!!
(4)Holly R.
I love love love this place! They make the most amazing pizza and everyone else falls wildly short in comparison. I always get the bacon chicken ranch pizza with a side of marinara sauce and normally eat the whole thing. The only negative I have is that they take forever to clean a dirty table. I dint mind waiting a long time for good food but when I'm standing there waiting for an hour and see three dirty tables that no one has bused it's frustrating. That being said, if my husband asked me if I wanted to go there for dinner tonight, I would be standing in line.
(5)Jerry S.
The pizza is 5 stars...unfortunately the service is 3. I see this all the time with establishments that are bar/restaurants. It is called Wichita Brewing Company so their focus must be on the beer....I can understand a busy evening waiting on a bartender to get you a beer. But the service has to be better for the weekday lunch crowd who has limited time. I hope they improve because the pizza and other items are so good from the kitchen I would easily give them 5 stars.
(4)Matthew R.
Just traveling thru from Colorado to Texas and picked this place based on previous reviews. What a great choice! We had the house salad and Banick pizza. That paired with their great selection of beers made this an easy 5* choice. Staff was very friendly too.
(5)Ericka J.
Great service and yummy pizza!! I personally love pizza and appreciate different combinations especially with fresh veggies. This place did a great job with both! We are taking another to go back to Tulsa with!! It's worth the drive off the beaten path.
(5)Tim L.
Great beer and great pizza. This is just we wanted after a long day on the road from MO
(5)Kate B.
Gotta say our second trip was very much improved! The interior has a better set-up with booths and tables. Good beer selection on tap. We ordered a double decker (can't remember the name) pizza and it was plenty for two people. The bottom layer had cream cheese and spices followed by another crust then toppings. Toppings were fresh and the crust had a nice crunch. We would return for the pizza and beer.
(4)Robert H.
Loved the beer, had a flightg and decided on the CoCoa Dolce Chocolate Porter. Very very good. The food was good, nothing about it really stands out either way in my mind. The staff was super friendly and welcoming to me. The biggest thing that floored me about this place was how CLEAN they are. You expect to see a clean table and floor. But when I say it's clean I mean everything is clean. When we were there they were cleaning off the decorations in the roof area (don't worry, not above anyone.) I went into the bathroom and they have an antibactrial dispenser for the TOILET. Yes, they are so clean they provide for you to sanitize the toilet seat. Hospitals don't even do that. With a lobby this clean, I felt confident the food was prepared safely. On a side note, the logo is really cool. That being said of the Kansas cities that can use John Brown it would go Lawrence and Topeka. I never thought John Brown was associated with Wichita. Either way, cool logo.
(5)Bonnie C.
Very fun place to take a group. We like to order a bunch of different types of pizza and share!
(5)David V.
Busy but not overly so. How about we never received silverware and only received napkins after asking the seater. Beer sampler, warm beer. Took way too long to get appetizers. Ordered stuffed mushrooms. Told only had enough for 1/2 order after waiting for the time to make a full entrée. Now the California pizza was ok as was the breadsticks and stuffed mushrooms. Made the mistake of asking for a calzone to go. Said it would take 15 minutes. Closer to 1/2 hours and here it is. I seldom am not happy with a place to eat. This one, we will never return to. It just wasn't worth the time and money.
(1)Jordan B.
Our favorite fire cooked pizza in Wichita! Love the laid back open atmosphere. Every time we go I try a different pizza, all have been uniquely satisfying. But we always get the fire cooked jalapeños, the ranch served with it is out of this world! I catch myself dipping my fingers in it occasionally ;)?
(5)Christopher K.
Amazing. Definitely try the Ferris Wheel pizza as well as the Alfredo one. These were both very good. The only downside of this place would have to be its crust. Although thin and tasty, the edges were a little too black than I usually like. Service was fine. Not spectacular, not terrible.
(4)Karen F.
The pizzas are awesome here. If you like beer, you have to try the hopperoni pizza. Amazing! They always have interesting brews on tap that they brew right there. A fun place to take out of town visitors to show them there's more to Wichita than chain restaurants.
(4)Maureen Y.
Service was great and friendly and the food and beer was great! My bf and I shared the Caesar salad which was a good, standard Caesar salad. The hop-eroni pizza is a hop infused pepperoni pizza which was amazing! The hop fragrance and flavor in the pepperonis was distinct but amazingly flavorful, and this is coming from a girl who doesn't enjoy IPAs or hoppy beers. I had the Ber-Lemon-Er Weiss beer which was interesting and strange at first but yummy. The peanut butter smore dessert pizza was so good! Super peanut buttery, toasty marshmallow topping, and chocolate drizzle. Will definitely be back here when passing through Wichita!
(5)Lacey H.
This place was fantastic!! Great prices and great food. I will be trying he beer next time. Our waitress was very sweet and on top of things. We had the pizza, I've never tasted a better crust on a pizza. I will be back asap
(5)Michael C.
Beer review only. Solid line up including a decent selection of staple taps and excellent seasonals. Three sours on while I was here, one of them a guest tap. Well done, Wichita! They offer a hop infusion for a dollar. Add fresh hop flavor to your beer via a tea infuser. Nice. I'll be back when I'm in town to check out their rotating offerings.
(4)Richard P.
Great home brewed beer and real pizza not prebaked and reheated to your liking. Great variety and alot of new pizzas. I'll be back for seconds soon.
(4)Matt L.
Pizza is fantastic. Very thin with a lot of topping. Great selection. Beers are great, be careful because they will cause a hang over. Atmosphere is great and energy is strong. Highly recommend.
(5)Doug S.
Great Food, great staff, can't wait for East side opening on June 1. Looking forward to eating most of my meals there and getting bigger pants
(5)Brian M.
Went there for lunch before my flight. Not sure where they brew the beer, but a quality place with a friendly and attentive staff. The pizza was good and the salad was just exceptional. All fresh ingredients. Definately worth a visit if your in the area.
(4)Anne H.
Great place for west Wichita! A bit small so it is easily crowded, but I've never had to wait long. Their food is always very good and a decent variety of choices. The Emma Jean sandwich is different, yet vey good. Only give them a 3 because it is a tad noisy and while their food is good my sister had a very long hair in her salad. Nothing was done to compensate the contaminated food, not even an apology. I don't expect a meal compensation but the waitress just kinda laughed and shrugged it off. I understand accidents happen but that's food we paid for that wasn't fit to eat.
(3)Steve S.
As if the beer itself is not worth the stop, the pizza is great also! Gotta love the service and the staff, enjoy it every time I come!
(5)Gabe C.
I'm in Wichita every 4-5 weeks and trying new places to eat. Okay calzone, it was a little undercooked but good flavor. The two beers I tried weren't bad either. It was a Monday night and pretty busy. I sat at the bar and had pretty good service.
(3)Christina C.
Sorely disappointed that we drove out of our way based on these reviews. The sauce they make and put on everything is sickly sweet. The restaurant constantly smells like it's on fire or something is burning. The thin pizza crust is soggy and not crispy. The only saving grace of the evening was that the brushetta was tasty.
(1)Timirie S.
Enjoyed the pizza ... rather out of the way location, but good pizza.
(4)Bill S.
good pizza great beer gets really hot in the building
(4)Tanna K.
BEST beer and pizza in Wichita! I love their buffalo chicken pizza, veggie pizza, and the atmosphere is WONDERFUL. They have the BEST pumpkin beer in fall. I love everything about this..
(5)Billy N.
Great place to drink some local beer and hang out. I had the pizza for dinner and it was killer! Spent about 3 hours at the bar talking with some locals and really enjoyed meeting the owners and brewer as well. I am from the east coast and we have a good amount of craft brew pubs and beer bars. I have to say this place contends with the product back home and I will be by again when I am back in town.
(5)Amber P.
We frequent this delicious establishment on a regular basis. My husband loves sampling their many home brewed beers. I love that they have gluten free crust and can make nearly any pizza on their menu with it. The kids love all the topping options. The staff is friendly and the waiters go above and beyond but the girl who does the seating isn't very good and is a little rude. You should call ahead for seating and still be prepared to wait for a table. My favorite pizza is the MuthaMcClucker. It is chicken and Sriracha. I also love that they are a local business. They have a food truck and are all over town during the lunch hour cooking and selling their wood fired pizza to the lucky townsfolk. Unfortunately, they don't have gluten free crusts on the food truck. Almost perfect :)

I've been coming here for a while, and WBC has finally disappointed me, that I had to write an update about this. I came in with a group of friends, which was about 5 of us total. The best they could do was a booth with a chair at the end. Our waitress came to us fairly quick before we could even look at our menus. I wished she would have waited a few minutes for us to settle down. We all put our orders in, and I ordered the Banick. A few of us put in our drink orders in as well, yet the waitress completely ignored me. So I guess I wasn't going to order a beer then... About 20-25 minutes passed and they started to bring out our food. Except, I didn't get anything at all. As my friends were eating and a few stopped eating because it was clear.... I was not getting my meal I ordered. Another 20 minutes passed and I was finally able to get the waitresses attention. I notified her of the mistake and she promptly put the order in. So I'm thinking to myself.. Something happen between her putting the order in, and the cook staff made all but my order in. Did she not write it down? Was it not readable? I don't know. So I waited about another 20 minutes before she finally brought my pizza. So I demanded that I get an apology for whatever happened, I even gave her the benefit of the doubt, as I told her.... I'm not blaming you, because you did take my order, so it's possible the cook staff didn't see it or ignored it. She did apologize and admitted that she probably some how messed it up. It didn't even feel like she apologized to me, or even made an attempt to find who messed it up. The food was great, but it just made my evening awkward. As I was about half way through my pizza, she already gave our tickets to pay. How odd? She didn't even ask if we wanted more beer or if we wanted to order anything else. I was planning on getting the Vanilla Porter Float, but if she wasn't going to ask us, I guess I won't be getting one. I just felt extremely unimportant to her, neither did she try to make it right by possibly giving me the pizza on the house or giving me a discount on the meal. I didn't demand it, but a gesture of goodwill would have been nice. Because of this, I had to remove a star off my previous review.
(3)Monika B.
Absolutely love this place! Great beer, awesome vibe and tasty food! It's become a staple to visit whenever I or my boyfriend need to fly out of Wichita.
(5)Jan W.
I've been here several times with my husband and/or friends. Always a pleasant experience with good food. I will gladly go back when in the downtown area.
(4)Jazmine K.
Friendly staff, great food, and good beer! We went on a weekday during lunch & it started getting pretty crowded, but the wait wasn't long at all. Even though this is on the west side of town and I live on the east, it is worth the drive out there. We'll definitely be back!
(5)Amanda B.
I was once a very loyal customer to this restaurant as their food was delicious! Though a lot has changed in their past few years... Their pizza has gotten smaller, the prices more expensive, and they no longer offer complimentary bread and dipping sauce while you wait to take your order. IF you do happen to check it out though, try the gregorian pizza.
(2)Branden M.
The beer is better than the pizza for sure, some of the seasonal brews can be life changing. The good is good but not great. The 'Hopperoni' is recommended. Mixed drinks are good but pricey. Wait staff is okay, bartenders a bit better. Great place to watch sports, about a million TVs inside.
(4)Scott R.
This place is great -- I am envious for the folks that live in Wichita that get to go here often because this is the type of place that I would want to have local to me. The only inconvenience of Wichita Brewing Co is that it is located a bit far away from many things in Wichita and is in a strip mall, but it's definitely worth a trip. We started out by visiting because we were in town visiting a relative in the hospital and we were looking for a brewery for drinks and dinner. After our initial visit we came back five more times over several different visits -- it's that good. First, the beers -- I sampled items like the Seal Team Six Black IPA (8.5%) "Roasty wit dark stout/hop flavors"'; Belgian Dubbel (7.3%) "Malt with a real 'grassy' barley flavors; Mass Hysteria Rye (8.1%) "Dark, stout, malty. Slightly boozy character that bel8ies its higher alcohol content" ... those plus more, with plenty of great hits among all of the beers tasted and pints consumed. The only thing I did not try with the beer was the optional hop infusers -- effectively tea infusers with dry hops that you can add directly to your brews to give it even more bitter hop flavor. Second, the food. One of the great elements of the Wichita Brewing Co. & Pizzeria is, naturally, the pizza. The restaurant has a great wood-fired oven that is adjacent to the dining room in an open kitchen -- so you see the pizza being made and put in the blazing fire oven. And the pizzas are very, very good. Delicious thin and crispy pizzas with great flavor. And, to add bonus to benefit, they have happy hour specials that include half-priced pizzas and beer specials. When I find myself in Wichita again, I will definitely be stopping into Wichita Brewing Co. again, but this time I'll remember to bring my growler to take some beer home with me.
(5)Richard B.
If I could have lunch here everyday I would. The combination of great pizza with great beer makes this place a must. Get your pizza Itis style with your beer of choice and you'll be in heaven.
(5)Jack D.
Being from the Boston area I have a sensitive taste for wood fire pizza and craft beer. This place has a nice selection of pizza for meat lovers and veggie people. We started with the bruschetta which was pretty good but the toast was kinda small. We ordered the pesto pizza with fresh mozzarella and tomatoes which was very good. Beer review. I'm an IPA man so I tried the v.6 and Imperial IPA. The Imperial IPA was much better than the v.6 if your looking for full body and piney flavor. This paired nicely with the pizza. Service was good. The only reason I did not give WBC 5 stars was for the cleanliness of the bathroom. Because there was a Kansas state football game on many customers frequenting the restrooms.
(4)Rei C.
Pizza made to order who doesn't like that? I got this kind of shrimp with cream cheese sauce it was good good good! The pizzas come straight from the oven on these little air vent mesh pan things and are thin crusted! My friend got the meatball one and enjoyed it as well! Good drinks!
(4)Alicia R.
$2 pints on Tuesdays, and drink specials the rest of the week as well. The pizza is great (and will serve at least 2), as is the hummus appetizer (both the regualar and the pepper). Totally hit up their beer and food specials. The atmosphere can be a little crowded and loud, especially when it is at capacity, but have a few beers and it will not matter at all. I also like that you can see the pizza oven in the corner of the restaurant...interesting to watch your food being made. The beers are amazing, for a newer place they have a great variety and depth of selection, and every time I have been there, they have had a special as well. I highly recommend stopping in.
(5)Ian B.
This place is a gem on the west side. Great beer, phenomenal pizza.
(5)Matt B.
Best pizza and meatballs I've ever had! Killer beer special on Tuesday and a friendly staff. I've never had a bad experience here.
(5)Matt K.
I had three different beers on tap ( Belgian Dubbel, seal team 6 and Catherine III Russian imperial stout. Tasted the valley view vanilla porter) - all were top notch. Bar staff were great. Place was hopping on a Wednesday which is there $8 growler night.
(5)Meghan H.
Great pizzas, I miss their western/BBQ style pizza it was the best. Their in-house root beer is perfect. Make sure you get there early, showing up at dinner time means that you are in for a long wait.
(4)Chris B.
Excellent pizza every time we go. The only improvement would be more parking, that only goes to show how good of a job they do. Have yet to have a bad pizza, or beer.
(5)Amanda W.
So wish this little piece of Wichita could make it to Overland Park. First off, the beers were amazing, we had a pretty decent size group and all tasted as many as we could among all of us. Really great barrel flavor to their Irish Ale, and their Vanilla Porter was definitely one of the best ive had. They also had 3 kinds of wiskey they made, Apple, Pear, and Blackberry. We tried the Pear and Blackberry - both very smooth and amazing. Wish we had tried the apple, as we found out afterwards it was their most popular. Alcohol aside, the food was JUST as great. Ordered pepperoni rolls and a pizza. The dough was soft, and thin crust. Their sauce was amazing, maybe just a TAD on the sweet side though. Either way, I know where I will be going next time I am in Wichita.
(5)Gregory S.
If you want a place where service is great, where people take pride in the product that serve, then you've found your new hang out. Being a new resident of Wichita WBC is one of my favorite places to eat drink and just relax. Grab a 502 and Banick sit back and enjoy your day.
(5)Sarah B.
Good beer, decent food, and friendly service. You can't really ask for more. If I were to ever end up in Wichita again I would come back.
(4)Brian M.
Very good food, good service. Enough food for a fat guy.
(4)Alexis R.
Wichita Brewing had awesome service & a great micro-brew beer selection. We enjoyed the veggie pizza & spinach artichoke dip with our Lemongrass Wheat & IPA (both ~$4 pint). Tasty & good.
(5)Reed N.
They still had Winter IPA... and yes it is THAT good. You will likely miss it, but put WBC on your calendar for next year's 3 months of hell. During that period heaven is in a pint glass of this stuff. : ) A sharing of pizza's had me settling on the Cajun Bacon concoction again... so good. The Mutha CluckR spicy pie was also tasty. Do not fear the spice... Sriracha is your friend. lol The mushroom appetizer was super rich and delicious. The caps were on a river of balsamic reduction and stuffed with sausage and cheeses and seasonings. The pizzas are not cheap here (not horribly expensive either)... but whatever the price they are likely the best in Wichita. Again, if I could give 4.5 stars I'd do it.
(4)Shane E.
I don't rate this low too often, but this place was one of the worst places I have been to in quite some time. It would have been one star, but the service (after we had finally gotten sat at our table) was the only good thing about this place. My girlfriend and I had arrived at WBC but the hostess (and who I presume was the owner of the place?) just assumed that we were with a party of 30, even though we walked in before them, and separately from them. So we waited for quite some time after the party if 30 was seated. We were eventually sat and were promptly greeted by one server. Drink order was taken and after that we were greeted again my a different server. Had to tell him we were already greeted and had our drink order taken. I ordered cream soda and it is home made but it was still over carbonated and no taste. Also throughout the night, the lights above us were flickering like the power was struggling to stay on. All in all this place was very unorganized. After finally figuring out who our server was, the service was great the the business as a whole seemed very scatter-brained and unorganized. Not worth the visit at all if you ask me.
(2)Brad S.
I'm happy to say that it's the rule rather than the exception to find a brewpub that also has some pretty good eats, and Wichita Brewing dosen't look to be violating this particular rule any time soon. Brewing and pizza might not have much more in common than yeast, but they go together so well, and if someone has a grasp on one - like in, say, a good chocolatey porter - then they usually show the same care and precision in the other. The Pep, Pep, Pepperoni not only exceeded other pizzerias by acknowledging that there is more than one kind of pepperoni, but showed a sense of creativity and playfulness. Oh, and the pizza tasted good, too. It was wood-fired and came in only one 12" personal size, but the crust was wonderfully thin and crispy, and the sauce and cheese top-notch. They've certainly been taking time to perfect their recipe - they've been posting pictures of the construction of the restaurant and their dry run pizzas for well over six months prior to their opening. The end result is a pizza that belongs high on any self-respecting Wichita pizza lover's list. The only negative thing I can say about this place is that it's on the west side of town, and can get pretty busy. But when it's clear the owners have a true affinity for both pizza and beer, it comes out in the food and people respond to it.
(5)Hannah H.
Service was really good! The pizza was fantastic and perfect portions. I had the margarita pizza and my bf and the BBQ pizza (which was recommended by the server). We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back!
(5)Phil K.
Living in San Diego, a huge brew capital, this place did us right! You can't judge this book by its cover, nothing exquisite from the outside but you walk in and the smells and hospitality are solid! Great food, beer, waitstaff, and attitudes. High recommended.
(5)Nadia M.
Great pizza and pub joint. If you are in the area, you must stop by! Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great! Recommended for sure!
(5)Cody H.
Wichita Brewing Co. & Pizzeria is excellent. We have been there twice now (as recent transplants) and absolutely love it. I tried the beer sampler platter the first visit and loved most of them (those that I didn't love I would still gladly drink). The pizza was amazing; from presentation to taste, it was great. I haven't gone into too much of the menu as of yet, but will continue to add to this review when possible. Service was quick and pleasant with two of the servers showing great personality. I can't believe this place is a local secret and hasn't been mentioned on the numerous travel shows that target places like this. Def. go try it out and expect great things. They even have cast beer (sometimes) if you're into that like I am. (Something I haven't seen in KS yet and only find in larger brewery friendly cities and Europe)
(5)Tom M.
Very nice!!!
(4)Carolyn S.
The pizza here is very good if you can overlook the fact that they do not have a "make your own" pizza option. You have to pick a signature pizza and it only comes in one size. But the pizza is excellent and I particularly like the sandwiches too. The beer is spotty, but can be very good. If you order a beer you don't like, tell them and they will switch you out. I would not order the vanilla porter "float" again, although it's fun and worth a try once.
(4)Tony H.
This is probably my new favorite pizza place. Looking forward to a return visit!! Service was VERY efficient and friendly. Food was excellent.
(5)Daniel W.
Our server was Alex who was on top of his game. I had a Pizza with Bacon, Chicken, and BBQ sauce. We also ordered a Hawaiian pizza, cheesy bread, and pizza rolls. All were excellent. We had our food in less then 15 minutes. The home brewed cream soda was also delicious. My only complaint and it was minor Is that the dining room was loud but that is just part of the pub atmosphere.

Pretty good place to eat and drink. The beers are a wide micro beer variety of tasting. The pizzas are good. The sauce is one of the sweetest we have had. Lots of televisions to view games and the seating good. I tried a meat/veggie pizza, it would be better with a smoother sauce.. Great crust! Kids had the kids pizza and they even commented how sweet the sauce was. Anyway, if you would like pizza and beer it's a place to go watch a game!

My husband & I have eaten here several times & have never been disappointed! The pizzas are SO yummy! Their speciality brews are also good. My only 'complaint' is that it is such a small space. My recommendation is to get there early before the rush arrives!

Grateful to have another brewery in town, even if it's just a three-star spot (for now, I hope). I'm an east sider, and happened to be on this side of town for a show. I probably won't drive across town just to eat here, but may stop in again on the way to a movie out west. Our service was quick and friendly; the pizza came out in less than ten minutes. These are personal-sized pizzas, and I don't believe you have a size choice here. The dining room has an open, airy layout with stained concrete floors and flat screen TV's on every wall. The only problem is the brick ovens make the place HOT. We had the Valleyview Porter and the Half-Wit Wheat to drink, and my boyfriend had a Margherita pizza. My pizza had bacon and artichokes on it, but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called. They ran about $8 a piece. The crust was lighter and crispier than Il Vicino's, which I guess is the only comparable place for wood-fired brick oven pizza. Good flavor, not too much cheese and the sauce has a little kick. The beer was just okay. It was obviously good enough to brew and market on a larger-than-home-brew scale, but it didn't blow me away. The Half-Wit was pretty one-dimensional, the Porter was less malty than I like in a porter. They've been open about a month at this point-- I'm curious to see how their story plays out. I'd love to see them continue to improve on the flavor complexity of the beers. We could use some good beer competition in this town. Hope they stick around a while.

This place is basically my home base in Wichita. They have delicious pizza (try the hopperoni) and really good beers for such a young brewery. I've been writing beer reviews for a while now, and I really enjoy this place. Every time I come home from school overseas my friends and family take me directly from the airport to WBC. Awesome servers, great food, great beer, fun atmosphere. Best place in Wichita.

Overall a great experience. Their Bavarian wheat and amber ale are very good and balanced. I had the meatball pizza and the crust is nice and thin with plenty of cheese and toppings. Prices are very reasonable too!

Tried this place yesterday after reading the reviews. Very yummy pizza!! I tried three different kinds (pepperoni, the artichoke one and the Cajun Bacon Ranch) and I have to say I agree with Reed N. the Cajun Bacon Ranch was so good!! and my personal favorite and really not too spicy. The waitress said it was her favorite! She also said the Mutha ClurkR Spicy was spicy enough to breathe fire. This place also had really nice fresh salads and about everyone at the table got one because my brother-in-laws looked so yummy! I definately recommend this place and will be back even though I live on the very East side of Wichita. I would say this place is comparable to IlVicinno at Bradley Fair/Douglass Oliver.

Interesting beers, plenty of delicious pizza, great place to go. Admittedly, this is geared towards meat eaters, I only recall one or two veg-friendly pizzas on the menu. Still a great local restaurant, and it's on the west side!

Not too bad. A little noisy. The spinach artichoke dip was great. The pizza I had was pretty good too. I do like Pacific Coast better. But, it's kinda like it just on the west side of town.

Delicious beer, fantastic pizza, spinach and artichoke dip that could make your head spin with delight. This place is a win, all the way across the board. Half Whit Wheat is good, but try something like their Vanilla Porter if you wish to venture out.

Had a great experience here tonight with the family. The pizza was great and their summer strawberry wheat beer was very good too.

I was amazed at how yummy my pizzas were last night! I don't remember the names of them, but one was alfredo sauce, chicken, peppers, buffalo sauce and ranch. DELICIOUS!!! I could have eaten 3 of them! The other pizza had chicken and bbq sauce. It was a little spicier and sweeter than the other pizza, but it was just as amazing. For dessert I got the peanut butter smores pizza. I think it could use more chocolate (there's just a little drizzle across the top), but it was great, too. Our server was really nice and helpful- she gave us her opinion on some of the pizzas when we weren't sure which to try.
