Everyone says this place is great. Everyone is right.

my dad's friend owns this restaurant and I am never disappointed when ever I go there to get something to eat love this place. Food is fresh and made what ever spice level you want it to from regular to Thai hot.

Thai House is one of my favorite places to eat in Wichita. You wouldn't expect much from it's location in an old strip mall, but it truly is a hidden treasure. It is a tiny place with barely enough room to seat 12. They mostly focus on carry out orders and their customer service is better than anywhere I've ever been. I go maybe once a month but somehow the cashier remembers what I get every time and calls it out before I even get a chance to order. I tend to stick with the Pad Thai with Chicken and I've never been let down but they have a full menu with lots of great dishes.

I work down the street and wanted some Thai food for lunch. I found this place on Urbanspoon and decided to give it a try. I was pretty disappointed. It's carry-out only and the store front where you order is VERY small and cramped. Add to that the strong fish smell inside and it makes for a very unpleasant dining experience. The food portions are decently large, but the taste is nothing to rave over. I love Thai food very much and this is the only Thai food restaurant close enough to my work to feasibly get to...and I've never been back in the over two years I've lived here. Make of that what you will.

I tried this place for the first time today and it did not meet any of my expectations, unfortunately. I had heard about Thai House and was extremely excited to try it since some people had highly recommended the location and Thai-riffic has recently closed. The service was excellent. The person at the register was extremely kind and responsive to our needs. The food was not good though. I just returned from Thailand and was gorging myself regularly on delicious Thai food. The type of Thai food that is served at Thai House is similar to the street Thai food at night when all the normal vendors are closed - cheap and easy. We ordered the chicken and pork satay - which had a delicious sauce but was dry meat that was frozen and placed on the grill, the tom yum kung was not tom yum at all - there was no galanga root or kaffir lime leaves and well it didn't taste like tom yum at all, the crab ragoon was not very good and came with a very strange and flavorless cough syrup liquid, and the pad thai was in general pretty awful. I was extremely disappointed. I hate to report that I even saw a ramen noodle packet used to make one of the dishes for take-out (which is commonly seen with the cheap street vendors in Thailand). The people that work at this establishment work VERY hard, and are very kind, but I have to say the food was overall pretty bad. Not authentic at all, not really even that delicious. SO very sad that I didn't like it. I'd like to add that I have no idea where these photos were taken of food because everything is served in styrofoam to go boxes or plastic tupperware to go boxes for the soup, even if you eat in. Absolutely not representative of what is actually served at this location.

I heard a lot of good things about thai house so.my crew and i just went trying some.of their menu. First ordered Chicken Satay it was precooked and so dry, i was very disappojnted. Fried Rice was ok. Speaking from a native Thai. They are considered good. But try Thai Riffic Cuisine before considering Thai House as the best. Try their Chicken satay, and curries.

Awesome fast Thai food in Wichita, KS? Yup. Fantastic service. Friendly, helpful, and patient. I couldn't tell you what I normally order as I usually request something hot with veggies and tofu. Then they suggest something and I say sure why not. I have to say I am never disappointed in the quality and taste. However, the heat level is never near the heat level I like but they do have the usual Thai restaurant pepper trays. The atmosphere is very, um, casual and intimate. VERY limited seating and you will mos def come out smelling like food if you eat there. I believe they used to be cash only but now they accept cards. However, being a small business I'm sure cash is preferred especially with small orders.

I was stunned. Great Thai food in Wichita, KS!!? Even Dallas, TX doesn't have Thai food this delicious. Seriously, this was the best Thai food I've had in several years. Not since the good 'ol days of Thai Cafe in San Antonio, TX. As a super-spicy food lover, ask for "Thai Hot" when you place your order, and you will not be disappointed. They will also throw a fried egg on top of your dish too if you ask. Also, I think it's carry-out only now. I saw a posted sign or something the last time I was there.

I was told by multiple ppl to come here, so I had high expectations. The place had about 5 tabletops and a bar top. The majority of the seats were full. I had called my order in, and it was ready when I arrived. I wanted to try a variety of items, so I ordered a noodle (pad see euw), a steamed rice (some chicken dish with mushroom and bamboo), and a fried rice dish(pineapple). I was particularly interested in the pad see euw, b/c I had been talking to someone about Thai Lao's delicious pad see euw, and she said that Thai House's was comparable. It was good, but not anywhere close to Thai Lao's. The fried rice was fine, but the chicken with mushroom and bamboo was lacking in flavor and quantity. The majority of the dish was overcooked rice. I still want to return at some point and try a curry and maybe the pad thai, but this trip was disappointing. Update: I ordered three curry dishes. Again, I really wanted to give this place a chance. So we had green, red, and penang. As before, my order was hot and ready when I arrived. I asked for extra rice, since in the to go orders they only give you about a cup and half. It was supposed to be $1, but I didn't have cash on me, so the nice owner just gave it to me. I found the taste a little underwhelming. Not watered down, b/c it at medium level, it still had kick. But I guess the curries I've had in the past a little more flavor. Of the three, the penang was best. An Asian restaurant's rice quality is a good indicator of how the rest of the meal will go. Everything in our meal was consistently under par. Overrated on Yelp.
(2)Carla M.
Very good Thai food. We normally get our food as take out due to the tiny size of this restaurant. Their pad Thai is good, as is everything else we have ordered. Wonderful soups and Thai tea. :)
(4)Diana C.
We were hungry for Thai food and found this place on Yelp. Very reasonably priced and very tasty. I had yellow curry with chicken and my husband had panang curry with chicken and we shared. Awesome. Crab Rangoon and Thai tea rounded out the meal. Recommend calling ahead which is what it seemed most people did. We found a park nearby and had a picnic. We'll be back.
(5)Emry W.
I've tried almost every Thai place in Wichita and this is undoubtedly the best. Their food is authentic, consistent and delicious. The portion sizes are the best bang for your buck. Thai House is always busy during lunch time- I would advise calling ahead. The service you get when going there is fantastic as well. I drive 30 mins across town to eat this once a week, they are doing something right.
(5)Attack S.
Dirty and filthy place. Once you step in, you can see it for yourself and be the judge. No matter how good a dish may be -- if it's served from an unhygienic restroom-like environment -- it's hard to swallow. That's exactly how this place is. If cleanliness is not a factor for you, then you'll be fine. Here's the LONG list of citations/violations by the health inspector of this particular place. wapp.kda.ks.gov/direct.a…
(1)Kris M.
Carry out only. Really really good. While my sinuses are drained and my lips are numb, I could still taste all of the rich flavors and textures. A real win!
(5)Nick N.
Food was good. Mainly carryout with a four tables for dining in. Friendly people. Check it out.
(4)Leesa A.
I tried this little spot a few days ago, I must say this is by far the best Thai food I've had in awhile!! I ordered the crab ragoons, chicken satay, and Thai house lad nah. Everything was delicious and so flavorful! I'll definitely be back!
(5)Renée R.
I love this place! The soups are amazing. It's a hidden, little place that does mostly take out!! If you need a Thai fix, I highly recommend this place!!
(5)Alex M.
Came here because of the Yelp reviews. I had just arrived in Wichita while on a bike tour. 90 degree days with a strong headwind will make you hungry. This place is the real deal. I had Pad Kee Mao and yellow curry. It was fairly good. The Thai tea is also super delicious. The real solid sign of this place (and of Kansas in general) is that while waiting outside for my ride, the owner came out and asked if I needed a ride somewhere! That's some serious customer service.
(4)Anh N.
I'm out of town most of the year, but every time I come back to KS, I always order their combo pad thai at least once (to maybe even 3x) when I'm in KS because no other place compares (and I've tried many thai places throughout the states)! It's so authentic and good! This is a family run restaurant and they're so friendly! Even though the place is small and the decor isn't fancy or anything, the food makes it an exceptional 5 star place for me!
(5)Alex W.
This is the best Thai food I have ever had. Its an extremely small place so you probably will not get a seat, but they do primarily offer take-out and its well worth it.
(5)Alisse G.
A little hole-in-the-wall place, but don't let that deter you! The service is excellent, if a little over attentive, it's clean (you watch them make your food), and the food is FANTASTIC. I had pad Thai, and it was perfect. It's a little spicier than I'm used to, but you can ask them to adjust per your taste. If I'm ever in Wichita again, I'll order tons from this place.
(5)Wenday L.
Best padthaI in town, at least of all the places I've been to so far. Their pineapple fried rice is also pretty yummy too.
(5)Reed N.
This is a tiny place with an open kitchen... three 4-tops and two bar stools. That's it. My kind of place basically. Ambiance? Eh. Food? Yeah! Sping rolls were served warm here, and delicous with an egg slice included under the wrapper. I also had their #15 dish. Chili and veggie dish with rice that was very tasty. I had it with chicken.
(4)Brianna E.
This place has great food which is good to eat when you have a cold. I ordered some spicy soup and by boyfriend ordered the #10 thai hot. Not only did it clear up my sinuses for the first time yesterday it allowed me to actually taste the food. It's cheap, healthy, and delicious. I will be coming back, over and over.
(4)Wanabee C.
Loved this place! Food was just right quantity and quality. And I got to meet a Big Blue Giants fan!!!
(5)Kari M.
Delicious food! Please keep in mind it is carry-out only. I haven't had anything from Thai House that wasn't fresh and delicious. My personal favorites are the pad Thai, the spring rolls and the shrimp & lemongrass soup.
(5)Jeremy F.
Solid Thai food in a city that I wouldn't have expected it from. Prices are ridiculously low, service quick, good food. No drawbacks to this place. For that 5th star, the "Thai Hot" level of hotness should have been a bit hotter... Support a local business like this! Ditch that chain-restaurant food and eat something real, and really delicious! I'll be back to Thai House for sure.
(4)Blake H.
Excellent fresh cooked food, good value for the money! Very flavorful. Best spring rolls.
(5)Kate B.
Cute hole-in-the-wall restaurant with decent food for the price. We had a nice experience dining-in at one of the 4 (or so) tables. We noticed most people ordered carry out. The portion size was good for the price but I left feeling indifferent about our experience. Pad thai - pretty good but not the best I've had in town. Kai Paad Ped - basically chicken with a little spice. Egg Rolls - Fried perfectly but appeared to be store purchased / made from frozen. Next time I would try the crab rangoon after watching one of the employees hand make and fry a few.
(2)Derek E.
Good, fast Thai food. Prices are decent and they are quick to get your food out. Pretty much the only place to get Thai on the west side. I've had better thai tea though...
(4)A B.
I love this place. I.Love.It. No, there isn't much room to sit down. No, there isn't "ambience" or decorations from Pier 1 or whatever it is people want when they say that. Yes, there is magically delicious food that is ready quickly and sold at a low price. The family that works there is nice and getting anything "thai hot" will clear out your sinuses better than anything at the pharmacy. Whatever you get, you will end up devouring like an animal because it is all fabulous. The first time you go, get some paad thai and crab rangoon. You will not regret it.
(5)Alissa M.
Crazy good. Do not be fooled by the tiny-ness of this place. I've ordered almost everything on the menu and am never disappointed. I grew up eating authentic Thai and have tried several restaurants in several states and this is the best authentic Thai I've had anywhere. We recently moved out of state and I am craving this BADLY! Try it, you won't be disappointed.
(5)Alicia S.
Best Thai in Town! Mom, Dad and 3 lovely daughters make Everything Fresh in front of you! Always quick, quality ingredients, very attentive and accommodating! I go out of my way for Thai House!
(5)Denelle H.
This place is Fabulous! The pineapple fried rice is a must have!!
(5)Sarah O.
Quick and cheap. I like that its a small place and you can see the people making your food. Maybe not the best in town but still very good and for fast take out it can't be beat.
(4)Edward L.
Solid food and great prices. This tiny hole in the wall, family owned business is definitely worth a try or two...or twenty. I got the pad Thai and was given a very generous portion, especially considering the $6.81 I paid for it. I also optioned to get it Thai hot and let me tell you...wow. Being born in Singapore where food is incredibly spicy, this definitely had my nose running and me sucking air. Good stuff. Incredibly fast, friendly service and delicious food. What else could you ask for? Well, except for maybe a glass of milk.
(4)Aaron W.
Hands down the best Thai food in Wichita and probably the Midwest. This food is like medicine. The family atmosphere is always inviting and whoever's working at the time will be fun to talk to. I tell this story all the time, but once when my friend and I were eating at Thai House, Harrison Ford walked in with some Cessna people. This was during the lunch rush, so Harrison Ford had to sit with some ladies at the table closest to the door. I later learned that he returned to Thai House-ask them to see their autographed box set of Indiana Jones movies! For real, Thai House is a one of a kind experience. I went through a phase where I ate there at least once a week for years.
(5)Jennifer C.
I think the curry here is top notch but the noodle dishes are lacking. I have had the worst pad thai here due to the crunchy, overcooked noodles. But I absolutely love the curry here and think that it is a cheap place to get Thai food. Supposedly their claim to fame is that Harrison Ford dines here every time he is in town. It is such a tiny restaurant that I recommend getting food for carryout. Since I eat curry more then I eat noodle dishes I will keep coming back.
(4)Tammy M.
Love, love, love. Enuf said. Carry Out. Only two tables.
(5)Miranda H.
When entering the restaurant, it had a..different smell. I think it was just all the different spices, but I'm not sure. It went away - or I got used to it after a few minutes. I was shocked to see only 3 tables and how small the restaurant was, but it was kinda neat. Dr. Phil was playing in the background - we thought that was funny. But you can watch them cook your meal from where you're sitting so that was nice to see. The waitress was very kind and attentive. I got the paad thai (stayed with something I was familiar with) and ordered it medium (in heat). Holy cow! It was hot! This was really spicy - it was almost hard to enjoy. But it was really tasty so I kept eating it and burning my tongue off. I will order mild next time. It came with bean sprouts too and they were SO fresh. Like picked out of the garden fresh. We also got the spring rolls and they were very fresh tasting and served with a sweet plum sauce. In addition, we ordered the Thai tea -it's orange in color and is sweet without adding sugar to it. My boyfriend got the beef and broccoli dish and he liked it - but agreed that medium was too hot for him. Overall, I would say if you like really hot food - order medium or hot. If you don't like hot food, order mild - don't take a chance. It was a really interesting place to eat at and I can see why they do more takeout than anything. We went at 3pm and got a table, anytime before or after, you might not get a table - it really depends. The staff was very nice and the food was good, just really spicy - but hey that's Thai food.

Thanks, Yelp-ers for making this place stand out. Let me just say that I overwhelmingly agree ... this place is amazingly good. I did get lucky, and arrived for dinner to find two of the three tables free. I studied the menu and ordered some of the tastiest Thai food I've ever had. The staff are very friendly, and I think they were a bit amused at my overjoyed expression, as I surveyed the fully open kitchen from the front of the restaurant. What's not to love when you can enjoy seeing every aspect of the magic behind the wonderful food? I decided upon the Pra-Ram-Long-Song with broccoli and chicken, Thai Hot. Like most truly authentic Thai places, when you ask for "Thai Hot", they really pour it on. Thai House is no exception. Also, besides the fact that they delivered the chili-enduced euphoria I crave, the flavors were so lovely. Wonderful, rich, and sumptuous, is how I would describe this dish. So good! I also ordered the Thom Yum Koong soup, which was also very pleasing. Loads of flavors, lots of tender lemon grass shoots, straw mushrooms, and very nice shrimp. Very pleasing! This place is exactly the kind of hidden gem you might see Mr. Bourdain praise with great exuberance. In fact: Hey Tony ... if you read this ... check this place out! You will love it.
(5)Big Mike B.
Exceptional! As authentic as I've had outside of Thailand. We lived in SE Asia for over a decade and made regular trips to Thailand. I tried Paad Kee Mao (Thai hot) and green curry/Gaeng Khiao Wan (hot). Both were authentic and exceptional!
(5)Torin A.
The best Thai in Wichita. Fast, very intimate setting (practically in the kitchen). To-go orders available. Everything I have tried on the menu I have thoroughly enjoyed. Family run, super nice funny people. Order-sit down-eat-pay.
(5)Brad S.
Thai House furthers my hypothesis that there are no truly bad Thai restaurants in Wichita. The cramped restaurant at the end of a strip mall devotes 80% of its space to the kitchen, but whether dining at one of the three tables that are crammed inside or getting some takeout like the majority of their patrons, Thai House is very good. I'm not an appetizer kind of guy, but that picture of the spring rolls was enough to make me a believer. I had the cashew chicken - a standard sort of protein-sauce-side of rice affair featuring a surprisingly large number of cashews - I would think the cost of tree nuts would be hurting Thai House's bottom line more than the chicken - and came along with the standard types of veggies you might expect to find here. Like other Thai restaurants, you can order your capsaicin in "mild", "hot", or "Thai hot." I've paid for choosing "Thai hot" in the past, so I stick with the regular hotness lest I ruin myself for the rest of the day. As I've said before, Thai cuisine is amongst the most difficult things for me to judge, partially because I am in no way Asian, and partially because every Thai place I visit is consistently good. On the plus side, I spend less time writing and more time eating.
(4)Nicole F.
Walking into this tiny hole in the wall, I never expected the excitement my tastebuds would experience! I'm in from CA and and am pretty serious about my curry...I have to say some of the best panang curry I've ever had! I'll def be back anytime I'm in Wichita :)
(5)Shannon S.
I'm so glad we found this place! Thanks again Yelp. We're transplants to Wichita, so eating out has been difficult to get used to, but this restaurant was great. It's super small, so I would recommend just getting carry out. We tried the pad thai (good), broccoli and tofu in peanut curry (good), sweet and spicy chicken soup (yum!), spring rolls (very interesting, good plum sauce), and Thai iced teas. We definitely will be ordering take out from here regularly. They take cards.
(4)Janet P.
I worked on the West side of Wichita for about a month and ate here like 2 times a week lol.Thai House really is the best thai food in Wichita and I've tried em all! My favorites are their noodle dishes especially Pad See Ewe! I eat pretty spicy but have to mild-to-medium here, so be forewarned! Better for to-go because they have limited seating. The people there are also very nice and welcoming! Oh, and it's also very cheap for big portions!
(5)Mike O.
Without a doubt, the best Thai food in Wichita. Maybe even the state of Kansas. Maybe even the U.S. My wife and I have developed quite a taste for Thai food ever since we discovered this place years ago. We have traveled to many places across the U.S. and have yet to find a Thai restaurant that can match Thai House in Wichita. Some have come close, but there is just something special about this little restaurant. First, don't expect to dine-in. You can do it, but this is a tiny family run business with only a couple of small tables. We've found that it tastes better as take-out anyway, as the flavors meld together even more harmoniously the longer it rests in your take-out container. Like it hot? They don't hold back. Order "Thai-Hot" if you think you can take the heat. We order "hot" and that's usually more than plenty spicy. Of course, they will tame it down to suit any palette. I could go on and on and on, but I will simply conclude in saying that everything on the menu is absolutely fantastic!!!
(5)Lisa N.
I was introduced to this place by my vegetarian friend...So its vegetarian friendly for sure. This is very good, they have almost everything that is essential for a thai food menu. Its a very hole in the wall place. They only a few little tables and its an order up front menu, but if you eat in theyll deliver it to you. I had their pork satay and their green curry with chicken and they were both very very delicious. The satay was marinated very will and it came with the best peanut sauce that I had to ask for an extra to take home, it was good. The green curry with chicken was reccomended and it was delicious. I wanted something with veggies. I love thai curry cause they add in the coconut milk in. You can request the level of spicyness. I'm a wimp so I got mild cause some places don't do medium very well. The curry came with a bowl of rice as well.
(4)Brent H.
Great place! Fantastic Thai food and great people! We ate in and shot the breeze with the owners/staff and learbed how to speak some Thai too.
(5)Binnan O.
Ordered: Panaeng Curry Price: ~ $6.50 Ambiance: There really isn't room for ambiance at Thai House; the kitchen takes up approximately 2/3 of this tiny corner shop. You'll see three 4-person tables squashed up against the glass windows and the counter is within leg's reach. The thing about this place, though, is that you don't need fancy decorations for this place to distract you, you'll be nomming on thai-goodness in a matter of minutes. Service: I came here with my friend and we both got our food within 5-7 minutes. The daughter was very nice and polite in taking our order and she make sure our waters were never empty. Food: Not to toot my own horn but, having grown up in San Diego and visited Bangkok, i've had my fair share of thai food. Believe me, then, when I say this place is good. Thai House is a great compromise between efficiency and flavor. Their curry paste was very authentic with an appropriate balance of spice, heat, and bursts of fresh herbs. I have certainly had richer and more savory sauces elsewhere but this was pretty close. Like another reviewer mentioned, there is none of this sugary-sweet business you find at so many americanized thai restaurants. Their 'hot' is legitamately hot and had me working up a nice sweat by the end of the mean (coming from someone who uses sriracha on their hot-dogs instead of ketchup). I would hate to imagine what their 'thai hot' option would do to one's digestive tract. The beef in my panaeng curry was shredded thinly and tender. My only complaint was the rice which was just a little stale because it has probably been sitting in a rice-cooker for a few hours. Portion size was moderate, you basically get 1.5 cups of curry and an equivalent amount of rice, enough for a comfortable meal but not enough to feel stuffed. *Recently came back and tried the green curry and Tom Kha Khai soup and they were both very savory and delicious. Both were loaded with perfectly cooked veges although there were huge occasional large pieces of ginger or jalapeno which I thought might be better served up cut a little smaller, couldn't argue with the flavor though. Overall, Thai House provides great authentic flavor for a reasonable price and excellent service. You can stop by, eat and be out within 30 minutes and only be $7 lighter. It certainly isn't the best or most gourmet thai food i've ever had but this place is a cut above your standard thai restaurant (especially for wichita) and I am excited to come back and try their other dishes. I would highly recommend it.
(4)Ashley O.
This is my favorite restaurant in the entire world. I've had a lot of Thai food from a lot of Thai restaurants, and this place is the best I've ever had, hands down, no questions asked. I've never actually been fanatical about anything except for this restaurant. I doubt the people who live in Thailand have it this good. I am pretty sure I've tried everything on the menu and there isn't one dish I can't recommend. The Pad Kee Mao is my absolute favorite. It's not sweet like some lesser recipes and they use broccoli instead of bell peppers. I get the Pad Kee Mao just about every time, and the egg rolls. Ah, the egg rolls! The Thom Kha Kai is my favorite soup and the Yellow Curry with Pork is my favorite rice dish. Unlike a lot of Thai restaurants, Thai House will make your food Thai hot for you if you want. The level of heat can depend on who's cooking, but if you're lucky and one of the parents is cooking the food will be hot enough to effectively cancel out all other favors aside from searing pain, and that's a good thing. They will also add heat to any dish you want, just ask and they will put the spice on the side for you. You don't want to eat in. The service is good and the family is very nice, but for some reason the food tastes better out of a styrofoam take out box with a plastic fork. Also, the restaurant is very small so you get a line of hungry people waiting for their food right in front of your table. The crowding doesn't bother me as much as the evil eye looks the hungry people give you because you have your food already and they still have to wait for theirs. Thai House closes at 8pm so don't lollygag around and wait too long to order or you will be sorry.

After hearing three different people recommend Thai House in the last few weeks, and seeing their stellar Yelp reviews, decided it was time to give them a try, so I stopped by for take out on the way home today. They have a sticker on their door that says people love them on Yelp - and I totally get why! First, the food was absolutely awesome. I had the spring rolls and the pad thai, and both were great. My husband had the sweet and sour and it was excellent. The food alone will get me back in the door - probably many times! Second, I can't remember the last time I found a place so vegetarian/vegan friendly! Were able to get both our dishes with tofu (and the tofu was prepared and cooked well!), and she asked whether we were okay with chicken broth (and had no problem substituting when we weren't) and they had vegetarian spring rolls! They even popped over to ask me if the mayo on the spring rolls was okay. I really appreciate that kind of attention to detail, and it will for sure make us repeat customers! Third, super friendly, helpful people! When I said I hadn't been there before, the girl at the counter was happy to point out their most popular dishes and she was very patient about my questions and ordering. It's a cool little hole-in-the-wall. Definitely more of a take-out place than a dine-in place. We'll be back and I highly recommend them to everyone.

I lived in Wichita, KS for two years and I miss this place like crazy. I am writing this review right now because I want thai food and I miss this place so much. This is the best Thai food I've ever had in my entire life by far. I live in the bay area (San Francisco) now and have tried a lot of thai places, and none of them touch Thai house in service, price, or (most importantly) flavor. The places I have tried out here are fake, expensive, and just generally underwhelming. When I lived in Wichita I could (and often would) eat there multiple times a week. Everything on the menu is great, and I especially loved the green curry, fried rice, and pad kee mao. Spring rolls are extremely refreshing as well. The peanut curry is awesome too. I get it with spinach. Its a family run joint that always makes you feel at home. Everything is cooked with love, they specialize spiciness, take requests like extra noodles (1$) or just cheer you up after a long day. Its the wrong type of place to bring a van full of kids who need to use the bathroom. Call ahead with 2-3 friends or get it to go. Introduce a friend to it and they will thank you. On several occasions I would be somewhere on the west side and hear people talking about it. Its a word of mouth place for sure.

I went here on a suggestion from a friend and couldn't have been more pleasantly surprised. The kitchen takes up a lot of the restaurant, but it's worth it. The gentleman who took our orders was extremely helpful with descriptions of the menu items beyond what was written. He also gave good suggestions as to what was good to eat, though I think I'll come to find out that everything is good here. I had the cashew chicken, and although that dish is not the most crazy thing on the menu, it still had excellent flavor that was not too overpowering and was very satisfying. The people I was with had Pa-Naeng-Neua (#30) and Paad Kee Mao (#10). We all shared bites with each other and their dishes were even better than mine. They also do not give humongous sized portions, which is something that I really appreciate. We went there around 1:30 on Friday and were able to get a seat in the restaurant. I would not plan on eating there, however. They definitely have minimal seating. I would say that it is a perfect take out place because they didn't take long to prepare our order.
