Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I had the most amazing pizza there. It was the five star and It was to die for. My mom and I went in excited about trying the new place on ridge road and were pleasantly surprised. Speedy service and friendly employees. The manager was so nice. We asked if they did call in and pick up orders and he politely informed us that they didn't. We reviewed online and it was a great experience. I look forward to going there again some time soon.

I love Pie Five pizza, but I've had some issues at this location that I haven't had other places. The last three times I've been here they've been out of key ingredients. I could understand running out of a topping, but not running out of sauce for some of the signature pizzas. One time they didn't have lettuce to make any of their salads! The service is sketchy too, and the quality of the pizzas goes downhill during busy times. If there's a line, they just slap toppings on the pizza without much care.

Plenty of great choices (several crusts, many veggies), very reasonable prices ($7.49 with any amount of toppings), and fast, though not overly friendly service. I had the whole grain thin crust, garlic olive oil sauce, spinach, cheese, kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, and caramelized onions. Wish I had also added minced garlic, but I didn't see that option until after I was done.

I giving them one less star for their ability to get through their assembly type prep when it's busy. The quality and selection is great, but it is also the down fall when one person is preparing the selection of sauces, topping, and all the extras. I believe it would work better with two people working on pizzas.

I am so thrilled that we now have pie five! The pricing seems very reasonable when looking at comparable restaurants. Pizzas are $6.99, with the option for a kids pizza being less. The employees have been great every time I have been in. They are ready to explain, help, and offer suggestions based on your taste! Wonderful place to eat!

This is place has been pretty busy when I go for lunch. It's probably a 15-20 minute wait before you get to order, but once you order it's pretty quick. I had the regular crust and the thin grain crust. I prefer the crunchy yet chewy texture of the regular crust. The portion is too big for me to finish for lunch but it's still tasty to eat later! I also enjoyed the dessert. Overall, this place satisfies my pizza cravings for a good price and good portions.

Wow!!!! Just Wow! First time I went I was excited. Pizza is my absolute favorite so I knew I couldnt go wrong trying a new pizza place. Once I took that first bite I was in aww. Cooked perfectly, the amount of sauce was perfect, the pepperonis were crispy and the crust was crispy and soft at the same time. I'm hungry just talking about it right now and I just ate. Big high five for pie 5!

My family enjoyed our first visit to Pie Five. When we heard of a new pizza place we had to try it. I really dig the create a pizza just for you aspect. While the food was good, I wasn't incredibly blown away either. As far as first times go it was pretty good though. We'll definitely be back.

Perfect. Just perfect. 6.99 and you get whatever you want. The service here was good but the food blew me away. This place needs to expand and go everywhere. Id go here over most restaurants. Also it was very quick!!

Pie Five satisfied my need for a quick meal near the airport. I had just flown into Wichita and had grand plans to run errands on the east side of the city, but I landed an hour late and had to hurry back to MHK. Pie Five was just north of the airport so I finally got to try it. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There are 4 choices of crust alone for the custom $6.99 pie. I got the classic pan, spicy marinara, spinach, the mozzarella blend and ricotta, sundried tomatoes, artichokes, caramelized onions, and jalapenos. The combo was great, and the wait for a pizza was relatively short. However, though the ingredients were tasty, the pizza was uneven in temperature. The ricotta was cold, the sauce was hot, and it was not quite what I expected - I just wanted it all to be hot. Since there is a machine that it runs through over the 5 minute period, there did not appear to be a way to get it heated a little more, so I just ate it and left so I could have sustenance for my drive back. I would be willing to give it another try. It is A-OK.

It's a subway but with pizza. Nothing to rave about and ingredients are just out of the freezer, crust was not very good either. My kids like it, but if you like good pizza I would recommend it.

The restaurant always seems to be clean every time I go. Great selection of sauces, pizza crusts and toppings. You can pick out a dessert while only waiting mere minutes for your pizza to bake. They also have a few different bottled beers to select from if you need a cold one to help wash the pizza down. The staff is always friendly and attentive as well. I've taken a few coworkers here who haven't been before and now this place is on all their short lists when it's time to go out for lunch.

A high five for Pie Five! We had a wonderful meal at this establishment. It was CLEAN and the food was absolutely delicious. I love that you can choose as many toppings as you would like for one low price. What a great value! Definitely try Pie Five (and say "yes" to the turtle brownie)!

The idea is great. The pizza topping were cold for several in our party. Probably will not go back.

Pizza was ok, but a 20 minute wait in line before we paid for and received our food was frustrating. We were turned off by the dirty work stations where they made the pizza. Staff were kind and fast. The restaurant was full, seating was fine, but it was very loud. Hard to hear dinner companions or restaurant staff talk.

Overall, not bad. Pretty much the chipotle of pizza. Atmosphere feels like a standard urban fast food joint. Pizzas come in one size, for one flat rate, regardless of toppings, with the exception of just cheese. I ordered the farmers market with bacon and meatballs added on the thin crust. There was some sort of issue with the oven, which they promptly explained and remade my pizza, so the wait was longer than average, but still quite quick. The pizza is a good size for a single person, and they run 7 dollars. The biggest problem I had with the pizza is the sauce. There was either not enough, or it completely lacked flavour, or both. Even red pepper flakes weren't able to bolster the flat monotone flavour. The crust was alright, better than your average chain, but nothing to brag about. I also tried both their flavours of tea. The green peach ginger was quite nice, but the black had that slightly funky taste you too often find in tea brewed poorly in large batches. They also have salads that they serve in a mini pan crust, and a small selection of brownies for dessert. Overall, I'd be willing to come back to try something else, but it doesn't break the top 5 pizza joints in town.

Nice concept for a pizza place. Basically, any kind of pizza is $6.99. They also have a few salads as well. Went on a Saturday at lunchtime and they were slammed. Assuming most of this is because they are so new. Took about 20 minutes from entering to sitting down with food. Most of that was just the huge line, the actual food was coming out real fast. I got the Athenian pizza and it was pretty good.

We couldn't have been more excited to hear Wichita was receiving a Pie Five! Our daughter fell in love with their pizza in both KC & Denver. I was skeptical however. Happy to say that was unwarranted!! Although the line reached to the entrance, it moved as fast as fresh made pizza would expect. Such a great value when you consider any amount of toppings/crust/sauce is all $6.99, and it's baked fresh with visible fresh ingredients. I chose the combo ($9.99 for pizza, salad & 22oz drink). This is a much welcomed concept and I predict it will do quite well in the Wichita market. Let's talk about the staff .... incredibly friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. You can tell they already love their jobs and have a passion for pleasing people and putting out really good food. I chose the thin crust with spicy marinara and added about 10 toppings....the crust was perfectly crispy and a little chewy at the same time which is exactly what I hoped for. Looking forward to the other Wichita locations to open. Thank you for coming to Wichita Pie Five!

Loved this place. Great value for money. Excellent service. Pizza's were delicious. Love all the extra options too.

Loud place. Pizza was OK at best. My wifes was doughy. The worst part was how dirty the place was. Someone came out and ran a rag across the table next to us so hard they slung all the crap on that table, plus what was on the rag all over our food and me. I've never been that grossed out by a restaurant.

Finally found a time when they were not too crowded. First off work stations and dining area was filthy. Next: top ice machine cover fell off on customer ahead of us, teenage employees did not seem too concerned. Tried to get ice for my drink and no ice would come out, employee told us we would have to wait for the ice maker to catch up and drop ice, this took 5 minutes or better, half finished with our meal by this time. Observed employee standing at drink dispenser filling his cup and then drinking it, then filling it up again and continuing to stand there and drink. Cardinal sin in the restaurant world! Pizza was ok, but not worth all the problems. Won't be back.

Pizza was cold, crust was not done, cheese barely melted. Worst pizza I have ever eaten. The soda machine also gives water and the water tasted like lemon. I don't want lemon water. Either the temp on the ovens need to be turned up so it will be done in five minutes or they need to slow the conveyor belt to allow more time for the pizza to cook. We will not be going back. There are so many other great pizza restaurants in Wichita that I will not waste my dining experience on Pie Five.
