Food is amazing some of the tables could be better cause they are pretty worn down but environment is pretty good and food is great so it almost makes up for the tables

They have added a smaller portion serving which is perfect when dining alone. Have yet to be served a unfavorable meal. Limited seating. Not good for groups of 6 or more in my opinion. Noise level is always a concern.

No, no and no. The menu. Can there be anything more confusing or frustrating? A combination of a traditional menu with mongolian bbq where you pick your own sauce. You don't like it, it's your own fault. So no signature dish to try. Rice is not even real asian rice. It's some americanized dry as hell rice with no flavor or taste. Portion size is decent for the large order. But too much rice. Price is too much. Two people $31 dollars. Not even worth $20. Go to panda express. More flavor, and half the cost for this inflated restaurant. You have been warned.

Great food, quick service. Worth a try, even though they recently downsized their entree portions while raising the prices.

I love the food, always have but the cleanliness of the West wichita location has quickly gone down hill since they opened. All of the tables are dirty and sticky. The condiment jars are filthy and your feet stick to the floor when you walk. I don't know if management isn't around or maybe they just don't care but every inch of the place is so filthy that you don't dare touch anything!!

I used to eat at this location a couple of years ago but moved. I was excited to return this weekend and get my favorite dish, the Thai Dynamite Chicken. I brought a friend for the first time, and she wanted the Teriyaki Sushi. My food came out, and it was close to 10 minutes before her sushi came out. My food got cold while waiting for hers, and additionally, my portion was about half the size I remember. Several of the chicken pieces were not coated with the sauce, and the vegetables were cold. The crispy tempura batter they put on her sushi was stale, chewy, and tasted like old oil. The tables were sticky, in a humid kind of way. The restaurant just felt humid and unpleasant. The chili paste condiment jars were gross, I had to look at 6 or 8 of them to find a clean one. Overall, it was one of the more disappointing casual dining experiences I've had in a while. I won't be back.

Liked the chicken teriyaki! Small place for fast food but service was nice! I tasted the cabbage rolls too and it was good!

I love this place! We need one on the east side of town though.

This place used to be amazing. The food was always very good and portion size was great. It had been a while since I had been in and decided to take my friend there who is from out of town. I have never been so embarrassed. The place was filthy. Every table dirty even if the wait staff said they were clean. Your arms would stick to the table and feet to the floor. The food was average. They changed the menu and I don't believe it was as good as it used to be. They need to close down and remodel the place from top to bottom. If I was the owner of PF Changs, I would be worrisome on what Pei Wei is doing to their reputation.

The food was too afraid of offending people that it just ended up bland. Little to no flavor. Americanized Asian food is one thing, but this place is just sad.

I got the sweet & sour chicken, it was just okay. Over priced, over rated. The crab wontons are about the size of a saltine cracker. Maybe some of the noodle dishes are better. Wont be returning anytime soon.

I have always enjoyed the food at PF Chang's so it was no surprise that I also enjoy Pei Wei. In fact I enjoy it so much that when we sometimes will plan outings to West Wichita around a visit to Pei Wei. Or if myself or my wife is on that side of town around dinner time one of us will get carry out. I have never tried the online ordering and always phone in my order and the staff is very friendly. For an appetizer I always order the crab wontons and they are probably my favorite of any place I get them. They are crispy and the filling is just the right amount if crab. If you eat them at the restaurant they are served on a plate that is covered in the orange and sweet chili sauce. My wife likes the pork egg rolls and they are pretty good. Always just the right amount of crisp and they are never burned like other places serve them. I alternate between the Kung Pao Chicken and Honey Seared Chicken with brown rice. I ALWAYS order their brown rice, it tastes so good. The portions of meat that are served with the entrees are more than enough for what you pay for. And the vegetables are always fresh with all the entrees I have been served. Pei Wei operates as a "fast casual" establishment which means they have limited service, upscale decor, and food with more complex favors than fast food establishments. I like how you order your food at the front register and then you are given a number and it is served to you at your table. It doesn't matter how busy it is there always seems to be an open table. The staff does a good job of keeping the crowd moving and the tables clear.

Love Pei Wei! The crab wontons, pad thai, orange chicken, everything is so fresh and good! I wish there was one on the east side. I come up with reasons to go west just so we can eat there

Best place in town for CLEAN Asian food [, from my personal observation, cleanliness and hygiene is largely lacking in locally owned Asian eateries]. Fast, convenient, and courteous service. My family loves this place and we're regulars. Highly Recommended!

The best dish they had here was the Thai Blazing Noodles a couple of years ago, but they have discontinued that dish. I have tried many other dishes, but nothing is really great here. I will admit that this place is very convenient for take out and the service is always good, but there are other Asian diners on the northwest side with better food.

This place is great for calling ahead and getting some takeout. Or sit down and eat, but it's always crowded. I like the vegetable spring rolls or endamame for an appetizer, don't really care for the crab wontons. The service is always friendly and efficient. My favorites are beef lo mein and shrimp pad Thai, hubby likes the kung pao shrimp, minus the peapods.

This place is always REALLY crowded. So be prepared to stand in line for awhile. Or call in your order . . . the food is just as delicious! Often, they have a host who is great at traffic control. He zips around and always manages to find a seat for everyone by the time you get your food ordered. Pei Wei is an offshoot of P.F. Changs and I think the food is better. The only reason I ever go to Changs is for the lettuce wraps and now I can get them at Pei Wei! I'm not usually a big fan of the crab rangoon/wontons, but Pei Wei's Crab Wontons are great! I've tried to order the potstickers, but apparently they're not available in Wichita, yet. The Thai Blazing Noodles is my favorite dish. It's a great combination of snap peas, scallions, carrots, cilantro and tomatoes smothered in a black pepper tomato sauce and thrown together with some rice noodles and your choice of protein. I can never choose between chicken and tofu, so I always order both. It's hard to find a nice firm quality in restaurant tofu in Wichita. Pei Wei does it right! Pei Wei is cute, quick, inexpensive and always delicious. I'll go here instead of the parent company P.F. Changs any day!

This place seems popular but I went twice and just wasn't that impressed. The dishes I had just didn't have that yummy factor that I get at other Chinese restaurants and I can't really put my finger on why. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if a friend wanted to go but I think I'd just go somewhere else if I were choosing.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
