Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Pretty good American Mexican food. I find it to be a little over priced for Mexican food. But they have good tortillas, and the chips and salsa are tasty.

Delicious! Though we have eaten here a time or two over the past two years, I was greatly impressed today and wanted to write a review. Since I like to end on a great note I will mention the reason for 4 instead of 5 then go back to the great part. The service was not up to par at all. The server kept forgetting parts of our order, filled our drinks once after we waited for quite some time, told us she would get something and never came back. Plus she only gave us one straw that I guess we were supposed to split. :) Oh well. I also noticed a lot of meals going to the wrong tables while we were there so that may be something for the management to look into. Now onto the great stuff. We were greeted and promptly seated then shortly after that we were enjoying fresh chips and salsa. Though we have always had these brought to the table, today was different in that the chips were delicious and very fresh and the salsa was perfect. Coming from someone from south Texas who consumes paint peeling salsas regularly, that is saying something. We both enjoyed that salsa a lot. We ordered the flautas from the appetizer menu and were again blown away by flavor. They were so delicious. Would have enjoyed that sour cream we were promised but man those were some good flautas. My brisket tacos were delicious and that bar-b-que sauce was the perfect blend of smokey, peppery, sweet goodness. I was impressed with the amount of brisket in each taco. I enjoyed that meal very much. Thank you guys for this great experience and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for some delicious Mexican cuisine.

I am shocked OTB has only one review and is rated at five stars. I have visited this location maybe five times. The first three I got the same HORRIBLE waitress who I think was out back getting high between taking our orders and bringing our drinks. Finally we figured out that just like a lot of other places in W Wichita if you want decent service you have to sit at the bar. Since that time we have avoided the host staff and Berliner straight for the bar rail. Finally we had the opportunity to appreciate the food. The first 3 visits get no stars, maybe even negative stars. Since then I would give 4 stars for good bar staff, and overlooking some bathrooms that really are NOT clean.

I have been here a few times. The chips and salsa, guacamole, appetizers, and drinks are all good here. I just can not find a main entree that makes me want to come back. They have all been average in my opinion. If you are in the mood for snacks and drinks after you get off of work, I would recommend this place.

The food was great. I haven't had a bad meal there yet. However, my wife and I nearly walked out because of how long it took a server to, well, serve us. It was not too particularly busy, but it's sad when a server asks of we'd been helped and then says, "Well I'll be taking care of you then." Service was top notch once we got it.

Been here several times now. We usually get the Pulled Pork Fajitas. My husband gets them El Diablo style (grilled onions & jalapenos) and I get them Baja style (with squash, zucchini & onions). The portions are large, but we take the leftovers home & have the rest for dinner. We have also tried the Graujillo Pork Tacos -- which we loved. Their Chile Con Queso appetizer was kind of thin, but tasted pretty good. They have a full bar and a large variety of margaritas to chose from. The servers have always been very good. My one complaint would be that they discontinued their Habanero sauce that we really liked.

On the boarder is a good sit down restaurant where you can talk to your friends. The waiters are nice and quick, leave them a tip. The chips and salsa was so good when we left we wanted to take some home. I suggest to go during lunch because the lunch menu is cheep and has a lot of options. So go to on the boarder.

LOVE this place! It's my favorite restaurant in town. The enchiladas suizas are amazing.
