An amazing restraunt a real hidden gem. The pizza is fantastic and so is the service. Did I mention very affordable drinks!! The best part. They have a great selection of drinks and the Chips and salsa is spot on. Stop in for a drink or some great food. This family ran restraunt is always wonderful.

Nothing extraordinary but good mexican food. Liked the salsa and the Margaritas were tasty. Had the Beef Taco, Enchilada and Tostata Combo and enjoyed it very much. The rice and pinto beans were just fair. The service was friendly and attentive. Not bad at all for having stumbled upon it. Would try it again if ever back in Wichita....

This place just rules! The cheese and onion enchiladas are the best I have ever had. HUGE portions, bring a friend and share. My wife and I always do. They have GREAT salsa, made fresh daily and will bring you both hot and mild. The hot isn't too hot, it's nice. All the dinners are good. The fajitas are a favorite of my wife. Also, the seafood enchiladas are very good, rich, but great. The cheese dip (chili con queso) is pretty darn good. It's simple, but yummy. Now, brace yourself...if you're in the mood for pizza, Marco's has the best in town (now that Angelo's is closed). So, you can go for Pizza or Mexican food. Wow! They will do carryout if you call ahead. Their menu is on 360Wichita dot com. Just go! You won't be sad.

We should have known when the restaurant was almost empty to turn around and leave. The waitress was inattentive, she took our order and brought our drinks, she brought our food and she brought our check. We never received refills and when we had an issue with the food she was nowhere to be found. The chips tasted funny and were very stale. They boast a Gluten Free menu but do not actually have one. They tell you to order something with a corn tortilla but they do not say what is in their seasoning or if they use a common fryer. We ordered our food and it came out looking like it had been sitting for hours. My girls' rice was greasy and crunchy, the beans were dry and crusted. My husband had ordered a burrito with fajita meat and it came out stuffed with beans and covered in bbq sauce. No, you did not read that wrong, they covered it in bbq sauce. When my husband tried to get the waitresses attention to see if there was a mistake, she was nowhere to be found. My chicken fajitas came with chicken and onion only and no sides. It left a weird aftertaste and a slimy coating in my mouth that must have been something in the seasoning. We left less than impressed and will not be going back. Neither the service or the food was worth paying for.

Marcos was not crowded last Tuesday. I hope they get more business because the food is good. They also have a separate menu for Cajun seafood. I need to come back and try that as well. The salsas here are fresh and tasty. They give both a mild and a medium/hot so you can have a little fun. The cheese enchilada I had were delicious... and even the sides had flavor. The rice and beans at many places are tasteless, but not here.

Just freakin' awesome. Never busy, which is kind of a shame but I hate eating at crowded places anyway. Huge portions. Good. Try it.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
