The waitress was nice. The chicken fried steak was too crispy and with too much breading. The rest of the food was good.

Waitress very slow...slow and cruel. We have to wait for 45 minutes to ask for water.. Then another 25 minutes to ask to order food. Management and server need training badly to operate the business better. The worse restaurant to try. Please manage the people better

If I could get this one less stars I would, party of four went to be seated the hostess wanted to stick A send of this tiny booth we said can we sit here by the window she was very snotty and rude but we were in a hurry no one came to bring us a menu we then ask if they would bring you some and you we moved both stew where there was a server two away where we were sitting we set there for about 10 minutes talking amongst ourselves and after that decided to leave. Went down the road to Texas roadhouse where we got a great steak and good service. We will never visit this restaurant ever again. Don

We went there on mother's day, very crowded, steaks were bad and service poor. Second time in last few months we had bad food and service; there won't be a third time.

Both times I have eaten at Logan's I've become ill. I am allergic to beef so it goes to show that something that had touched beef touched my fried chicken tenders OR that they cook their french fries in beef lard. Either is a no no in my book. They should at least tell people. I know this is the mid-west, but some people like to know what is in their food. Both times I have been here it has been for a business lunch - this definately wasn't my choice. I don't choose steak houses - duh - yet, if a place is going to have food on the menu, they should at least care about its taste. I've had their sweet potato and I found that dry. The fries were okay, and the chicken tenders tasted like any other kind of chicken tender you could buy frozen at Wal-Mart or Sam's Club and cook in your oven. Bread basket is nothing but white bread dinner rolls with no real taste - Wonder Bread at best. Service is spotty and the wait staff just seems to not care. I've had to clean our tables both times as they had trash on them and were sticky. These were tables we were shown to now, I just didn't go pick them or anything. I don't ever plan on going back if I can avoid it. It's sad the only good thing I can say is they have peanuts on the table.

Cheap prices, cheaper ingredients. Decent environment.

We arrived passed the lunch rush hour and our service was barely par. The server didn't deliver the salads until we were served our food, forgot all the request we made and the food wasn't that great overall. Very disappointing.

I Have dined at both locations in Wichita and have yet to get a palatible steak. The last time I went was with my extended family and I decided to get the catfish. My wife ordered a steak. THe catfish was average in taste. My wifes steak was so tough that she had me cut it for her...in tiny chewable pieces. I will not darken the doors of Logans Roadhouse in the future. If family wants to go there, I will certianly tell them that I am busy and cannot go. Save your time, money and appetite for something worthy of your taste.

Very busy restaurant and now I know why...food is delicious!!!! Complimentary fresh hot bread rolls with butter which is amazing!!! I ordered the BBQ ribs (half rack) with mashed potatoes and a garden salad. The garden salad and mashed potatoes were good...nothing extravagant...but the ribs were awesome!!! The meat was falling off the bone and the BBQ sauce was perfect.

At first not bad. It was clean and people were friendly. Then the food was sub par. My steak was ordered medium rare was served well done. The replacement was served so much later that everyone else was finished with their meals. I boxed my food as the ticket was brought to me. Then the server bussed his other tables as we waited to be cashed out. I don't ever plan on coming back here again. I'll go to Texas Roadhouse next time.

We have enjoyed Logan's since we moved to the Midwest. Tonight we went and my order was messed up. I ordered something not available, however was never told this and then brought a completely different item. When I questioned this the problem was immediately addressed and the best option for fixing was given. The server took responsibility as well as the manager in charge. .I think their names were Simon and Lisa. They could have easily advised me that it was a misunderstanding, but instead they owned the mistake and worked to correct it. We will be back due to their sincerity and excellent customer service.

Good food and great service! We stopped both times while driving through town and both times the food and service have been great. We had burgers, spicy chicken and dessert and it was all good.

We decided to give it another try tonight and our experience was significantly better. The food was better, our service was better... everything about this visit outshone the last. Our waitress was fast, courteous and attentive and while the entrees were somewhat small they were on point. This is a nice, casual family chain for an easy night out. We were very satisfied.

6 tv's in the bar area so you'd think they would put the ALCS game on one of them, but that would be unheard of when there's a Thursday night NFL game... Really!?! Next time just stay home, service is terrible!!!!

I have been here two times and during my last visit I decided that this place needed to be reviewed. My Mom and I ordered a the steak and fried shrimp combo. The steak was so tough and the batter on the shrimp was too thick and tasted like oil. The food is subpar. Even though the prices are decent, it does not make up for the fact that the food does not taste good. The service was average both times I went. The manager apologized for bringing the wrong dish to another guest at our table. The wait for the meal was okay since we snacked on peanuts. Overall the visit was just average and nothing special to come back again.

One of the funny things about chain restaurants is that although there may be a standard way of doing things on basically all fronts, that may not be the case at every single location. This Logan's proves the point. I've been to this one a couple of times and the one in West Wichita on Maize several times. For whatever reason, the servers on the west side seem to be more able to handle what happens from start to finish than at this one. Don't know what's going on here. On my most recent visit, my girlfriend and I were seated relatively quickly, but it took about 10 minutes for our server to show up. Thanks to the clock on the TV with the NFL network on, I was able to actually count the minutes going by! Karen did come by, but she seemed to be distracted throughout. Don't know what it was... The place wasn't particularly busy either. She seemed to have a weird, halfway snide attitude as well. Semi-pleasant but there was something else there. You know, one of those people that just kind of rub you the wrong way from the start. As for the food, you will definitely wait for it here. About 20 minutes pass before it came to the table, and even then my allegedly medium well "Logan" steak came out closer to Rare/Medium Rare. Sent it back and at least they were able to cook it to my request after another 10 minutes. The atmosphere is perfectly fine, but the place... ugh. I'm not heading to this one again. If you're a fan of Logan's, go to the one out West. If you like the 'Roadhouse' concept, however, Texas Roadhouse on W. Kellogg does it much better in terms of food and presentation.

Simple and short review... Service was terrible and food was mediocre at best. The worst part was the highchairs looked as if they hadn't been wiped down in a year or more. There was thick grease in every crevice and some flat areas. If this item is overlooked in scheduled cleanings I wonder what else is skipped...

Not impressed. Ordered 20oz prime rib medium. With potato with 3x extra butter and cheese. Prime rib was completely cold. Zero heat. Completely room temp. It was NOT a 20oz steak. Maybe 16 to 18. They forgot the extra butter and cheese. They also forgot the horseradish sauce for the steak! We ordered dessert which took another 20 min to come out. Strawberries on the cheesecake were from frozen and soupy. NOT worth the $65 they charged us for it. Next time we will go to Texas Roadhouse where the service and food are excellent.

Our kids love eating at Logan's, great food, wide variety, pricing is great too for portions.

Logan's provided a very good environment for an evening out, yet makes it feel as if in the comforts of your own home. For the price, I got a pretty good amount of food, however, my steak looked quite small compared to what I was expecting (should have paid closer attention to the ounces - my fault!). You won't see anything too fancy in terms of plating, but there is a good selection of food from the grill from steaks, to fish, to chicken, and some BBQ flavor for your taste buds too! In any case, the 'shrooms are pretty good with the horseradish sauce and the potato skins and buffalo wings were along the lines of most places, just average. One of the best things about the place is the bread which is the equivalent of a pan de sal. Paired with their sweet butter, you got a great way to start off a meal. I wasn't too crazy about the rockin' onion petals (hoping for an Chili's awesome blossom type deal), as they could not compared to the what I have had in the past at other places. Service, exceptional. Even after an error in the order, the problem was solved in less that a few minutes, amazing! In addition, our server was exceptionally nice and kept a good eye on our table! I couldn't have asked for anything more! Did I mention the free peanuts with shells that are discarded on the floor? I love places like this because it feels so wrong even though it's perfectly alright! Could have had louder music (as promised on the wall), but other than that, Logan's Roadhouse provided a pretty good experience.

Service was slow, despite a not very full dining room. Food was mediocre at best. Steak was tough. The rolls were hot and fresh, if that's all you go for.

Great food and service. My steak was a little to pink for me so they took it back and cooked it longer. I got an extra side and they took $10 off. Will definitely go back!

I have been to Logans several times, and each visit is more disappointing than the previous one. Frozen salads, poor service and cooks who are not aware of ow steaks should be cooked. Medium in their book is either brown completely through, or charred on the outside and raw in the middle. I really don't think we'll be returning.

The only reason I like going to this place, is because they can never figure out a medium steak, and I usually get it free after their 3rd attempt. 1st time it's medium well, 2nd time medium rare, then it's good, not the place to take a date if you're not ok with eating your food over or undercooked and don't want to look like a jerk by sending it back! You're better off just going to Texas Roadhouse, better atmosphere, same prices, and they know how to cook a steak correctly!

The food is just OK, reasonable portion sizes. The meal wasn't worth the $50 we paid for 2 meals and 2 salads. The salad tasted fresh. My steak was cooked to a perfect Medium Rare. The baked potato was pretty dried out and the skewered vegetables I had weren't ripe. Rolls were cold and hard. Service here is slow and they definitely need some training in customer service and friendliness, as the hostesses basically throw your menu at you without talking to you. I've been here a couple of times and it's nothing to write home about, but also nothing huge to complain about.

I have to admit that I was a little leery of trying Logan's after reading the reviews on Yelp, but it turned out to be a pretty good experience. Big warning-If you are allergic to peanuts, this is not the restaurant for you. Logan's has the typical roadhouse menu that includes all kinds of steak and chicken, but they're really accommodating if you put in a special order, which is nice. While you wait for your meal, there's a large bucket of peanuts on the table which you can munch on...and yes, your peanut shells are tossed onto the floor to be cleaned up later. The food was decent, not amazing, but also wasn't super expensive. Overall nothing remarkable, but I'd return.

I love this place! The food is really good and you get lots of food for the price. Yes, it's what you'd pay at an average steak house but service and food are well worth it! My boyfriend and I also go by 5:30pm just because it starts to really pick up after that. But we always leave there satisfied. Staff is always friendly and we've never had to wait extremely long for our food. Yes, you can eat the peanuts and throw the shells on the floor. I have something with sticking my hand in a bail of peanuts that someone else did right before me, so I skip out on those. Will defintely be returning!!!

Very nice place, if you like the Roadhouse type environment. There are all you can eat peanuts on the tables and peanut shells all over the floor, which makes it a fun establishment. This place is like a big Honkey Tonk, that plays rock music. We have been there twice, and both times well worth it. The wait staff is always very helpful and willing to get you what you want. The food is very good as well. It is mainly comfort food. My personal favorite is the Ribs. Although pricey for a half rack, it is best to get a full rack and split them. You still come out feeling full! It's competition the Texas Roadhouse is ALWAYS cram packed. Not so here. I would suggest it as a good alternative, despite being on the opposite end of town. Besides, it is only about a 10 minute drive down Kellogg from there. It would take you nearly that long to find something on Tyler or Ridge!
