This is definitely a good place to eat a solid breakfast. I had the ham and cheese omelette, hashbrowns and biscuits/gravy. The star was the biscuits and gravy. It's a cute set-up and the waitress was friendly. I'd go back if I'm in Wichita again.

Absolutely great service, the same can't be said for the generic food and above average pricing. I tried the garbage special and I could easily duplicate and improve upon in my kitchen. The best part of my meal was the coffee and the server.

I've seen Jimmy's Egg at other locations, but never really been to one until today. I had the create a combo with scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, fruits, and pancakes. We also had the Jimmy's Garbage Breakfast with a side of biscuits and gravy. The food was good---it was fresh, simple, and not too greasy. The hash browns in the garbage breakfast was extra crispy, the biscuits were pillowy, and the turkey sausage was tasty. They provide a decent breakfast menu along with good service and a clean and pleasant atmosphere...you really can't go wrong with that.

The staff is quick and friendly. The atmosphere is bright and cheery. But the food was very disappointing. The coffee was lukewarm after she poured it. She came back and said they forgot to turn the burner on, so she added hot water and poured me a new cup. Warm, watered-down coffee. The the cinnamon roll arrived. The glaze was thin and I couldn't cut through it with a fork. It quickly solidified as if it had been microwaved. The gravy is bland and the hash browns were soupy with oil. Worst breakfast that I can remember.

The food was very good. I had the banana and pecan pancakes, along with bacon cooked perfectly (it was thick too and crispy), a sausage patty. The coffee was pretty decent and the wait staff was attentive. The only knock i would have to give is that every time the door opened the whole restaurant got cold. Yes the weather was cold outside, but they have double doors and still it got cold every time someone came and went. That should be looked into and fixed.

Great service and the egg sausage tacos were spectacular. If I lived here I'd be back repeatedly. I don't so I won't...its just the way it goes. Come on now don't cry its just not in the cards Jimmy's Egg. Tell you what next time I'm in Wichia I'll stop by...okay? cool little buddy?

Had spinach and mushroom omelette. Just ok. Fruit bowl was cantaloupe (hard not quite ripe) and bland tasting honeydew and one tiny grape. I love toast- unfortunately this is one of those places where toast is an afterthought. Bad call for a breakfast joint. Clearly from a 79 cent loaf of thin sliced bread. tasted like cardboard. Waitress was great and checked back twice. Don't know if this is a chain but if not owner might consider paying a little more for quality ingredients and knowing that the customer base would probably be willing to pay for that too. Too bad food quality didn't match service. Not cook's fault either I'm guessing. :(

Ate here for Mother's Day. The food was pretty good but I have to say the hostess was rude and argued with me. We were waiting to be seated and I noticed 3 other groups that came in after us be seated. So my husband politely asked if she was planning on seating us soon, and she replied she could only sit people with kids who need high chairs at tables. One of the groups that was seated ahead of is was seated at a table and I brought that to her attention and she wanted to argue about it with me. During this a waitress came up and told me if my son could sit in a booster we could be seated right away. I told her no as my son is only 10 months old and she gave me attitude and walked away. They ended up seating us at a booth and it worked perfectly for the high chair. If it wasn't for the fact it was Mother's Day and all breakfast places were busy (and my son ready to eat) we would of walked out and went somewhere else. Needless to say we won't be going back even though the food was good. The employees here need to learn customer service.

Had a skillet and it was awesome but the best was the sweet potato pancake. Coffee was pretty good and the service was really good. They must have read some previous reviews because everyone was very friendly and attentive. Definitely recommend for a really good and reasonable breakfast.

Overall pretty good food. Some coworkers and I went here one morning and were seated, ate, and out within 30 minutes! I got the Fiesta scramble and enjoyed it, kind of small for the price but it did come with a drink and 3 silver dollar pancakes (awesome pancakes btw). Service was very fast and staff were friendly, would def go back!

I had a basic western omelet with a side of gravy and it was good however the pancakes were the highlight f the breakfast. Jimmy has his own syrup which was great . I'm not sure what's in it but unique and worth trying the next time your raving a good breakfast

The English muffin in the Eggs Benedict was not toasted. In fact, it was not even an English muffin but some sort of Styrofoam-consistency, tasteless biscuit. The poached eggs were overcooked: translation, solid yolk. The plate was greasy with toast crumbs on it. The side of fruit was barely cool. The presentation was non-existent. The waitress was efficient and attentive. My first and LAST time at this place.

It was fine. Pretty standard breakfast place. Not bad just nothing special.

My sister and I snuck in one afternoon while we were waiting on our salon appointments during a recent visit to Kansas. She had a burger and curly fries (they were delicious- I tried one!) and I had grits and a biscuit. It was standard, decent diner food with a Main Street Americana kind of feel. We got out of there for something ridiculous like $7.

I love this place, wish we had one in Va. The food is great and the staff is friendly. I love the Pineapple Express

Still looking for a good breakfast place in NE Wichita - Jimmy's seemed like a good choice - again, it was a weekday so not too busy and the waitresses were really nice - I'm a poached egg person, and was thrilled that they had rye toast - except the eggs were way overcooked and the rye toast was grilled, not toasted and the fresh fruit was a bit sketchy (not fresh). It certainly was clean enough and the place is nice and bright with light woods. The good, friendly service will bring me back again some time.

Typical diner food. Nothing special.

Jimmy's Egg is a newly opened breakfast joint in east Wichita and I love it. I have eaten there several times now and I have been pleased every time. Although they have fewer options than the more well-known Good Egg, Jimmy's Egg serves high quality, good-sized breakfast portions for a cheaper price. I will go there before I go back to the Good Egg.
