Excellent pizza, salad, and calzone. The service was perfect and very attentive to detail as every part of the order was brought to our table. The seating options are great inside or out.

Pretty yummy pizza. Appropriately priced. I liked the wide range of choices. You order at the counter, take a number, and the staff brings your food. I would consider coming back, but explore other options in town as well.

This pizza place reminds me of a Pasta Pomodoro; the interior design, the dim lighting, dark furniture, etc. I love the fact that 1) it's bricks oven made pizza, 2) you pay first then you dine, 3) there's a mouthwash set/machine inside the men's bathroom I ordered their margherita pizza which wasn't as good as I thought. The pizza was a bit too soft still, they didn't add fresh thinly sliced tomatoes on top and they forgot the basil!! Lol wow.. I did enjoy their red hot oil that's placed on top of their tables because it gives the pizza texture and a bit of a kick. It also adds some flavor which is subtle but great! Service was pretty good. They didn't do much other than re filling our glasses but that's good enough. They serve a good amount of pizzas and they each are fairly priced from $8-15!

Good food. Nice atmosphere. Order and paid for food as you walked in then you pick out where you want to sit. They have several servers that come by and give you refills or whatever you need.

It's pretty good. The service at the order desk is lacking. My pizza and salad came out quick. They forgot the chicken on my salad. But i didn't realize it till i got back home. The pizza don't taste like wood fire like it should. It's billed as a wood fire pizza. The box weighs more than the pizza. Im not trying to be too negative, the food was good. I'm just saying it's not a five star dining experience.

A fast-casual setting with contemporary, inviting, and comfortable decor. You order at the counter and they will serve your meal once it's ready. They have a great selection of pizza with fresh toppings. I absolutely loved the crust---thin with a nice crisp outside, and chewy inside. I also enjoyed their desserts, especially the cannoli. The staff were all nice and friendly. Perfect lunch spot :)

This and Knolla's are the best pizza places in Wichita, so go to Il Vicino if you'd like an artisan dish. Prices are reasonable, and because it isn't full service, you aren't obligated to tip, which is always nice. I went again last night and wasn't impressed with my iced tea (it tasted flavored, and I wanted regular tea), but it wasn't horrendous. Its location is also nice because you can go for pizza then mosey around Bradley Fair. Such an excellent place for dates or a lazy Saturday.

I always get the combo with a pizza, salad, and a drink for about ~10 dollars! It's a great deal and you leave full. I always order the Molta Carne with no kalamata olives and the Il Vicino salad which comes with a vinaigrette and a crouton! They have a chili oil at the table that I add salt/pepper to and dip my pizza in. Very yummy and parmesan is fresh and not grated! The only problem I have is that sometimes the bottom of the pizza comes out pretty soggy.

Friendly staff and great pizza. I tried the #13 Bianca Pizza which was fantastic. The hot oil mixed with the strong gorgonzola cheese was awesome. The portabello mushroom was so yummy (although I could go for more slices on it), and all the flavors just went well together. I'm totally satisfied with this place! Next time I'd get the small pizza combo with drink and side salad. I saw tons of salads leaving the kitchen, and I totally regretted not getting one.

From outside, this particular Il Vicino restaurant appears a lot higher end than it actually is, partly because of the shopping area surrounding it. I'd imagine a lot of non-residents of the area probably skip it over, which is a shame. Affordable, delicious food. You order and pay at the counter going in, but the atmosphere is more like a restaurant with full table service. My boyfriend had the delicious Calzone Vegetariano and I opted for the Lasagna Giardiniere, which had way too much cheese (always a good thing) and the perfect amount of perfect pesto on top. Everything we ordered was wonderfully indulgent and served fresh and hot. We were pleased!

I've always felt a little bad for my original review, partly because the small cold I had at the time might have affected my experience, so I made a return visit to order the same pizza I had last time. Unfortunately, in the managing of the large group we were in, I ended up with something different. Not that it's a knock on the service, by any means - I've actually found the folks of Il Vicino to be amongst the nicest and most attentive when a group of sixteen arrives with no warning, and that alone should warrant a higher rating. Whatever pizza I ended up eating had olives, artichoke hearts, and roasted garlic, and - to their benefit - it wasn't as bad an experience as I originally had. It still wasn't exceedingly good, though - the ingredients were dull, resulting in a pie that was a pie that didn't really showcase any aspect of the meal. It still had a bit of a fast food vibe to it, and that's all Il Vicino sets out to be, anyway - a get in-get out fast casual wood-fired pizza that's in no way the best pizza you'll eat, but (at least for me) not something to seek out, either.

Their pizza is pretty bland, but I love the bread/dough they use---also their flatbread sandwiches are pretty huge! They give you a good portion, but I guess $8.50 is pretty pricey for a sandwich to begin with. Lasagna was a bit bland too. My vegetable minestrone soup was a bit cold. Had to flag down the servers several times for silverware, napkins, water. Not bad, but could be better.

Il Vicino is one of my favorite places to stop for a bite. Hubby and I come here at least once every six weeks. Their pizzas are delicious, they have a nice, albeit somewhat small selection of wines and their spicy oil is so good! They also have a great outdoor dining patio. Probably one of the best outdoor casual dining locations in town. I highly recommend this place!

Delicious pizza and salad and very laid back atmosphere. The crust is thin and crispy and pizza tastes delicious! Very well priced as well. Under $10 for a tasty 10" pizza. If you want to sit down and eat a pizza this is the place to do it!

After managing a pizza restaurant for many years, I simply was sick of pizza and avoided this place simply because of it's specialty. However, I did go in and try it a while back and since have become a fan. They have a wide variety of pizzas, and an awkward ordering system that I just don't get. You order, you pay, and then sit while your pizza is made fresh for you. If you ordered something alcoholic, a waiter is there to take care of you, but I assume they would have to run your card again if you paid using that method. To me it would make more sense to have the waiter take the order and then you pay all at once. I tried the Angelini pizza. The wood-fired crust is delicious and flaky, the balsamic vinagerette sauce was tangy and sweet, just the way I like it. To me their regular sauce is a little bit bland, but the basalmic is unbeatable, especially when paired with chicken and bleu cheese. I've gone back several times now, my busy life leads me to do carry out more than dine in, but I would highly reccomend this place to anyone who likes pizza for at the very least, the experience of it.

The food at Il Vicino is consistently good. The pizzas are perfect size for one person and the flat-bread sandwiches are solid. I didn't like the Bradley Fair location as much I like the one in Crown Heights; the atmosphere didn't seem as inviting. One thing that has always thrown me off about Il Vicino is they have a full wait staff that is very attentive and friendly, yet customers have to order at the counter. I would much rather order from a table. The chili infused olive oil is a win!

If I'm craving a calzone, Il Vicino is my first thought. Their wood oven cooks quickly, so you don't have to sit around for 30 minutes like other restaurants. The food is always tastie, and I love their cannolis. The restaurant is set up weird- you order at a counter, then sit down and they bring you the food. The price and atmosphere suggest a nicer place, but the counter makes me feel like I'm eating fast food.

Consistent, mouth watering, delicious pizza. My family and I go here every week and will continue to do so. We were so happy to find pizza in the traditional European mode - personal pizza's with thin, fresh crust, the finest ingredients and well prepared. Yum! It's also got a great ambience and the wait staff are always friendly. We have 5 and 3 year-old girls and they love Il Vicino's. The ONE thing I don't like is the fact that, despite a full wait staff, you have to stand in line and order at the counter. In such an upscale place, it baffles me. I highly suggest going to table side service; your wait staff would probably make much better tips.

Enter, order, pay, find a great table by the fireplace & enjoy. Great concept, fast but not fast food ambiance. I frequented this location twice. Once I dined in and was served a piping hot pizza full of tasty goodness and last night I picked up the 'natalie' special pizza of the day for take out. It was about a 3 mile trip back to my hotel and the pizza smelled good all the way there. I made it to my room without sneaking a slice and it was pretty toasty still... Chicken, marinara, pesto, mozzarella, and fresh tomato's. Crust...almost perfection. I wonder what today's special is?

Not a fan. The pizza wasn't very good, especially when they call themselves wood fired. I found their concept confusing. Upscale atmosphere, order at counter, mediocre food. You can find better pizza for half the price.

I think the wood fire style pizza is delicious. I came here for my birthday last year. The wine selection isn't the best, but good enough considering I am eating pizza. The tiramisu here was decent. I have yet to be disappointed coming here.

Eaten here a couple times now, and I haven't eaten anything or seen anyone else eat anything that wasn't fabulous. It may just be that Bradley Fair makes me happy in general because of all the stores and shopping, but I've never had a bad lunch here. Service is fast and I would recommend first timers to try the pizza. New Belgium beers available too!

finally went to the new location, basically the first time i went there that wasnt for some huge group outing. pretty surprised the food came out fast because i remember it taking forever when i was there in a huge group. i think the pizzas are better than CPK, might be a bit more crust than normal cuz i kept thinking about the crust to pizza ratio but i might just be paranoid. the #10 or the #14 pizza had pine nuts in it and it was REALLY GOOD like I didn't realize how good pine nuts would fit in with the taste of the whole pizza.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
