Yummy yummy. I make late-night runs here weekly. I crave their pork fried rice like a pregnant chick. So delicious. They also have the best crab ragoons in Wichita. They're sweet and crunchy and filled with creamy goodness. If you get there in time for lunch they have super cheap lunch specials, and the portions are ridiculous.

Not very impressed. Reminds me of Chinese food you can get at the mall. Super greasy! I probably won't be back.

Food is average at best, this store is run down, dirty and gross all the way. Owners need to spend some profits upgrading. Surprised that health department passes them. Nasty filthy cockroach infested place. Everybody carries out because they can't stand to be in the pig sty. What is it about Chinese fast food employees? They are the worst customer service people around, just plain rude.

It is ok for the lunch. Price is ok food better than Dillon I can say the food is very warm but it needs to be cleaned up. If you want to keep going I would not go into the men's room. I stop going because of that and the dirty table you will stick to them. I would give it no star if I could.

Getting our food was pretty slow, we were eating at the restaurant and it seemed like heir main business is to go orders. Our dishes were pretty salty tasting but was still edible. Our family liked the food so we will probably return

I love Great Wall! It is the best Chinese restaurant I have been to since I moved to Wichita a few months ago. I love their fried rice, crab rangoon, honey chicken, and sesame chicken. Their food is reasonably priced and you get a large amount of food for the money you pay. Whenever I get food there it always provides at least two meals for me. Their is a bit of a wait time when you order the food depending how busy they are because they prepare the food as you order it, it is well worth the wait though! I have been here several times and this is my go to place for Chinese takeout or if family comes to town and wants to go out for Chinese.

I order from here at least once a month, always delivery. The food arrives quick and always steaming hot. I have tried various menu selections and have never been disappointed with the taste, quality and large portions.

Giving Great Wall another chance or (chances) they again screwed up my order. It is the same KID they have working that screws it up. Time to find another place!! Chosen Wok will be worth the extra miles.

Great Wall is definitely the best choice for take out Chinese food on the west side. Fast and friendly service along with good food makes it a staple in our home!

It's a pretty good place for some fast chinese. I love the crab rangoons here. The lunch special is a pretty good deal. My only complaint is that last time we went in, hubby ordered the same hot & spicy shrimp he always does, and we took it home. When we arrived home we saw that the ingredients had changed. Instead of those pea pods (which he can eat with no problem), they had switched to regular peas(which I hate and he is seriously allergic to.) So I had to share my dinner with him. We both were filled up because I ordered a large portion, hoping to take the leftovers to work for lunch the next day. However, we threw out his order. Money wasted! And I had to take PB&J to work the next day. :( We will go back, but now we'll have to really ask about items before ordering I guess.

I can't give them enough stars. I think I have been to this restaurant at least 75 times since they opened. Probably more as I have been going there since they opened which I think is about 5.5 years ago. They are so friendly, I have even learned a little Chinese to be able to properly greet the cook, who speaks very little English. The front counter employees are very friendly and are super hard workers. They have an enormous variety of choices. This is not your typical Chinese buffet joint. They cook everything when you order it, including your crab rangoons and even the egg foo young. I think my favorites are the moo shoo beef and the Singapore noodles. They are happy to substitute something if you ask and are quite quick considering they are cooking for you. The portions are huge so you always have 2 meals out of them and their soups are to die for. They even have chicken noodle if you have a picky eater with you who isn't crazy for Asian fare. You can't get better prices, hands down.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
