We started off with the calamari, which was a befitting portion size for the large, but we didn't order the large. Our waitress forgot to ask for the size and type of accompanying sauce. The lentil soup and minestrone was delicious. The bread tasted reheated. My boyfriend and I both ordered the Sirloin and Lobster Ravioli which was sub par. The sirloin in my opinion was a bit too tough, and the four pieces of ravioli was a bit stingy on the lobster. On an average of three pieces of lobster, the ravioli was mostly cheese. I wasn't quite a fan of the cheese. We both had a side of mashed potatoes which was quite tasty. Other than the mistake in the beginning, our waitress was friendly and attentive. We were not very impressed by the food we ordered, but we will come back to try other things.

Wow, what a surprise a chain Italian resturant has crappy overpriced food. But hey, I got a gift card for Christmas. After a watery Bloody Mary, and a 45 minute wait for a table for two on a bench like a torture device we were seated and given the highlight of the meal, the bread. I, like an idiot, from the giant menu ordered shrimp risotto. My shrimp were like bullets, and the rice was a bland mush in a tomato sauce that tasted a bit like blood. My husbands was a bit better, firm pasta on par with Spaghettios. The service wasn't very good, waited forever for refills. Overall the reviews for this place are really positive, perhaps you all need a real Italian meal. Sigh, however there are too many of you to invite to my home, and there are so many murderers on the internet these days. I am glad you enjoyed your food. However resturants like Carrabba's with their frozen crap, scare me for the future of Americas palate and resturants in general.

While I wasn't super hungry, I had rolled into town at 6 pm and didn't want to spend my evening in my hotel room. Bored, I took a walk and found Carrabba's amongst a strip mall of shops. The decor reminded me of an Olive Garden, but the menu was much less confusing. The dark wood also gives it a little more class than the chain. Unable to resist, I ordered a blackberry sangria and the caramelized onion, bacon and mozzarella flat bread. Both were delicious! Being alone, I sat at the bar and took in the scene. My bartender was attentive and professional. I have no idea if I will ever be back to Wichita, but I'd definitely eat there again if I did.

I really enjoyed the food! Their drinks are good & and the wine selection decent; I only wish the place was bigger! The floor plan is clearly lacking, an unfortunate use of the space they have - which is small. I walked into the place at 4:50 PM on a Saturday, and ended up waiting 20 minutes for a table for two. There was a large bar-type seating area to the right that was mostly used as a waiting area-no one was drinking, just sitting there waiting to be called to be seated. They should clear that out and put in more tables. Go for great food, but be prepared to be shoehorned into cramped seating. I had to shift my seat, as people kept banging into my chair-how am I supposed to relax and enjoy my meal? If you're a parent with small kids, be mindful of where they seat you; getting a high chair situated can be tricky.

I have eaten at this restaurant and used the online ordering so I will reference both in my review. As part of the same organization that operates Outback and Bonefish Grill I expect good food, decor, and service. The food is above average and there are some really good menu options available. Each meal is started with bread that has a nice crust and is soft in the center. It is served with olive oil and oregano on a plate for dipping. For an appetizer I would strongly recommend the Calamari Ricardo. It is breaded and fried with just the right amount of pepper and the spicy Italian pepper and lemon butter sauce it comes with is very tasty. Personally I have tried many of the entrees and I have never been disappointed. I always check the specials and go with one of those if it sounds good. The do a good job of cooking and seasoning steaks and the sides are always good. The garlic mashed potatoes are by far my favorite and the vegetables are fresh and seasoned well. If you visit this location the decor inside is nice and gives you the feeling you are eating at more than just a chain restaurant. It is dark but not too dark and the tables are spaced nicely. The kitchen is in view of the dining area but you don't hear any noise from there which is nice. The service had always been good and very professional. When I have placed orders online I like the "Carside Carry-Out" the food is always packed well and they get my order right every time.

I travel for work, and this was my first time in Wichita, KS. I wanted some Italian food and chose Carrabba's based on the reviews from Yelp. The service was very good. I ordered the Cavatappi Bolognese which tasted very good, but it was not very hot... I was hungry and ate it anyways, but it could have been warmed up a bit. I will try it again the next time I'm in town.
Even though this is a chain restaurant, I love this place. Food is always on point and if it isn't the management will make it right. Arancini and zucchini frites are my favorite appetizers. If you like chicken you must try the grilled chicken. The rub and wood grill flavors are delicious.

Hands down this is my favorite restaurant in Wichita. My wife and I eat there at least once a month, more if we can swing it. We have never had bad service at Carrabba's and you can tell that they have a strong management presence each time we visit. Everything is fresh and made from scratch and it shows in the quality of the food. The fresh cut mozzarella hand breaded and lightly fried with fresh marinara is an excellent appetizer. The majority of the entrees come with choice of soup or salad. The Lentil soup is my wife's favorite, I prefer the Sicilian Chicken. Warm fresh bread is complimentary and is served with herbs that you add olive oil to for dipping. My wife loves the herbs and olive oil, I always ask for butter. We often joke that one could just eat the fresh bread and soup and not even miss ordering an entree. It is that good! As for entrees, I almost always order the Sirloin Marsala with garlic mashed potatoes. It is so good it is hard to order anything else. Heaven on a plate! My wife switches things up more and has ordered the Chicken Trio, Calamari, Champagne Shrimp and Scallops to name a few. I would recommend Carrabba's to anyone and everyone.

Good service, portions were perfect for my moderate appetite. I surprisingly didn't like the caesar dressing one bit but everything else was pretty good, not a ton of selections which may or may not be a bad thing.

Yeah, I know its a chain but I'd been hearing great things about them and wanted to compare it to Carinos. Its better. We did a sampling of the pasta, meatballs, sausage, lasagna, veal, deserts, EVERYTHING. It was all great. It is a nice setting, the staff was very well trained and knowledgeable, the wine list was great, the price was right, and I didn't feel like I was eating at a chain restaurant. I would recommend it highly at this location and will try them again at other locations.

I have to say this is probably one of my favorite restuarants! For my parents there is only one place to eat out and that is Carrabba's! I absolutely love the Chicken Trio which includes 3 different pieces of Bryan, Marsalla, and Polo Rosa Maria they are smaller portions than the individual but you get to try all three! Very good stuff! Their sausage and lentil soup very good. Fresh cut montzarella cheese breaded and fried for an appetizer! And don't miss the Dessert Rosa! Very good with fresh fruit on top! If you haven't dined at Carrabba's do yourself a favor and treat yourself!

Since Carino's closed, Carrabba's is now my favorite Italian place in town. The mezzaluna is amazingly delicious. I always tell myself I'm going to only eat 1/2 so I can save the other for left-overs the next day. Never happens. I devour the whole huge plate every time. Of course your meal comes with the complimentary bread and olive oil and herbs to dip. The bread always comes out warm and fresh, and the mix of herbs in the oil is perfect. I love this place.

OUTSIDE: Parking isn't too bad, it kind of wraps around the building. But even then their parking lot was pretty full, and inside was packed as well. They also have a "take out/carry out" entrance/exit so I'm sure that's handy. Looks like your standard restaurant. AMBIANCE & DECOR: Inside it feels very comfortable with all the homey decorations on the wall--old photos of Italian families and name plates etc. Gives it a personal feel. There's a variety of seating types from tables to booths and high tables. There is also a bar with multiple television screens, something for everyone to watch I guess--even if most of them are on mute. SERVICE: The service was good. The waiter was very helpful/knowledgeable in answering our questions about the menu, like what Cavatappi Amatriciana is. Only fault was that our waiter forgot to bring another cup of hot water for my aunt's tea, but we got someone else to take care of that. Our waiter apologized and still came back multiple times afterward to make sure the food was good and our drinks were refilled as needed. (Yes, straws.) FOOD: The complimentary bread was excellent. Nice and warm, so good that we asked for more. When dipped in the herbs and olive oil, it's carb-perfection. To start off we ordered the Calamari which was very good. We also got lucky and found one shrimp in the mix haha Good portions, perfectly battered, provided with a lemon wedge to squeeze over, and served with a chunky marinara sauce. It was yummy. I think next time I'll try their Calamari Ricardo. By the time our food came out I was pretty much full from my bread, calamari, and hot tea. (The tea they serve is orange pekoe tea and it too comes with a lemon slice.) I ordered the Pasta Weezie, which is basically Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo. Their shrimp was so succulent and juicy, I loved it. The sauteed mushrooms were a tad salty but I think it helped balance the creaminess of pasta sauce. It was overall delicious, but sadly, I couldn't finish it, so I took it home. OVERALL: It's a chain restaurant I'd come back to. I already like it better than Olive Garden.

I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. My wife and I finally made our way to your fine restaurant this evening and were absolutely blown away. From the beginning we knew this was a different restaurant than the rest. The service was outstanding. The food....oh the food...absolutely amazing. We started out with bread and oil then fried zucchini...wow. Then salad followed by our entree. I had the Chicken Bryan and my wife had the Chicken Parmesan. The quality and care put into those dishes was stunning. My wife and I have eaten in restaurants around the world and yours made the top five list instantly. What made it all even better, if that was even possible, was the service provided by our server E. K. (name removed for privacy) She was so professional and friendly. We did not lack anything for even a minute while we were there. She made suggestions and explained menu items so well. In all the times we have eaten out we have RARELY stayed for dessert but we could not turn down E's suggestion and were once again absolutely taken over by the delicious John Cole. Thank you all and especially thank you E. K.! You gave us a night to remember. We will most assuredly be back. We'll call ahead to make sure E is working! :)

I love the shrimp and scallops here! (I really just love the scallops. I don't know why I don't just ask for all scallops and no shrimp-- note to self: must remember next time). I always order it and I haven't been disappointed yet. Husband and I will share that and we normally try another dish along with it, but the scallops are always my final bite here.

A solid meal for a national chain. The food is fresh and tasty. Service was fast and efficient. Our red wine was actually served at cellar temperature which I just loved. Starter soup with sausage and lentil was tasty. Will definitely return when I'm in town for business again.

Late review, running on low memory.... My son and I stopped in for a late dinner and a glass of wine. He had the Baked Ravioli and I had the Sirloin & (Bryan) Chicken. The bread was very good for starters. Son had the Minestrone soup and I the Caesar salad. Both were very good and presented well. Food arrives and we were ready! Flavors and delivery from a food server versus the regular waiter is a nice touch And you know its immediate, not setting under the lamp for 8 minutes! He verified my steak was properly cooked and off he went. Then the parmesan cheese chick stopped by and loaded up my son's Ravioli! He loves the attention - and she was polite and jovial in her delivery and the proverbial "When" joke she probably hears every night. I'm stuffed, but Food Network boy wanted to try the Cannoli's. So we waited. They were not what he expected and he surprisingly told the server. Looked a bit unflattering to me too, not that I'm a Cannoli expert. The wine was a bit overpriced, but what I wanted. Never have a poor experience here, but we always seem to sit next to the table with 4 kids (2 whaling) and the hostess was new and really lost. She left us standing in the middle of the restaurant with multiple empty tables while she returned to her stand to verify F2-6 or whatever top secret code they use to fairly distribute the patrons. This also happened on the next two seatings as well. No play calling in the huddle for her! Our server was new too and although he was okay, not ready to solo yet. He was very shy and a whisperer. Was that an old Seinfeld episode? Anyways - overall it was good and we were pleased. Not my first choice for Italian, but decent and worth 4 stars.

My husband and I visited yesterday evening for our date night. We thoroughly enjoyed every part of our visit. We ordered the 9 oz fillet o'bryan with garlic mashed potatoes and Italian side salad per the recommendation of our server. The fillet was cooked perfectly and was melt in your mouth tender, the goat cheese on top my husband couldn't stop talking about. The goat cheese lifted the dish to a whole other level. The salad and mashed potatoes were wonderful. To end the evening we got the chocolate dessert, couldn't remember the name but it's their only chocolate dessert. This is a must have! The service was perfect, she was on top of it and knew the menu inside out. We will be visiting again soon!

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

We started off with the calamari, which was a befitting portion size for the large, but we didn't order the large. Our waitress forgot to ask for the size and type of accompanying sauce. I have been eating at Carrabba's for years now. I have used the Car side To-Go, and I have frequently dined it. Romantic atmosphere, excellent food. I would highly recommend the Chicken Marsala with Fettuccini Alfredo ... the best of the best and my favorite meal hands down. This place is a little pricey but the food and customer service is worth it. I personally wish they had one on the west side of town because its a pretty far drive for me from the west side, but I go there on all my special occasions, especially for anniversaries, birthdays, valentines day, and for many of my business meetings for Capture the Moment Photography. I think they have way better food than Olive Garden, and the alfredo is much, much better. Fresh ingredients are used for everything, including fresh pasta. The chicken marsala is out of this world, the flavor from the wood grilled chicken is succulent and juicy. Another favorite of mine is the Pasta Carrabba. That's an excellent Fettuccini Alfredo dish with peas and mushrooms, and wood fired grilled chicken. The Caesar salad is great and the Minestrone Soup is the best I have ever had. In fact, I hate that soup and the only place I will eat it is at Carrabbas. The Sirloin Marsala is fantastic, mozzarella sticks appetizer is superb, and bruschetta is wonderful! As far as customer service, they have only messed up my food twice in the last 7 years I have been going there. In fact, the food wasn't actually messed up, just the steak was a little under-done. They took off the price of my meal from the bill, and gave us free desert for the trouble for the first time. The 2nd time there was a little of the stuff from the grille that had came off onto the chicken. They completely took my meal off again from the bill and this time re-made my food, PLUS made me an entrée to go for home later. Both times a manager personally visited the table and apologized for the mistakes. Personally I was very impressed with the level of customer service for those two mistakes and I have never when going to any other restaurant ever experienced such wonderful service. The waiters are always on time, proficient, and very professional. They have always taken wonderful care of us. In short, this is a great place for a romantic dinner or a business meeting, or just for lunch!

We eat at carrabbas for almost all of our anniversaries. Great range of choices, vegetarian options for me, and a dreamy chocolate dessert. ( Thanks Carrabbas for the complimentary tiramasu.)

I like this place better than olive gardens. Their food is good quality and expect the same taste everytime. Inside the restaurant is quite and peaceful. Don't like the front if the parking lot but I can live with that. Overall recommend this place.
