Good food, we have it catered at work often and it's always pretty solid. Nothing exciting though, I like Pizza Shoppe or Minski's better.

Pizza is average at best. Very little sauce and not much flavor. Crust OK. Hot wings are dry rub and were mild. Ordered online and 2 of the pizzas were not made they way I ordered them. Don't think we'll go there again.

My first time at this Suteras, I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. I have had better meals from a box. Salad was wilted and the house dressing is bitter. The garlic bread was not very good either, will not be back.

Very good pizza. They make the pizza the way YOU want it. Great pasta dishes. Wonderful salad dressing. Overall, excellent Italian food at modest prices. I highly recommend this place and love this restaurant every time we dine in.

I purchased a Groupon for Sutera's a couple of months ago. I'm fairly new to the area and had never heard of it, so I went based on the reviews here. Tonight we finally decided to use it and I'll Just say it was an experience. I'll start with the positive: - the pizza was really good. The sauce was good, the crust was chewy on the inside and crispy on the bottom. The toppings were chunky and plentiful. It was a really good pizza. The negatives: - The man who took my order on the phone was so rude I almost didn't go through with the order. He cut me off, sighed when taking my order, and then asked if I was done like I was an inconvenience. When I got there a very nice young lady started to ring me up. My pizza total was under the $20 my Groupon was for so she asked if I wanted to add a soda or something to get it over that limit. I said sure and the man who had taken my order came over and said no, just change the price of the pizza. He messed around with the register some, adding things until the price was over the $20 limit. I was shocked. It was so shady and rude. I essentially paid more than anyone else would have for the exact same pizza simply because I had a Groupon. The whole experience was shady and uncomfortable and bad. It's not something I will be repeating, Ever.

You know, the pizza is still decent, but I had a terrible experience using a Groupon there last time that really left a bad taste. I paid a certain amount (don't recall exactly but let's say $22) for two pizzas and an app, that was the groupon. I get there, and the fellow insists the deal is to just take $22 off the tab and I pay the rest. Of course that makes no sense, but he insisted until I really started to politely explain it to him. Then he huffed and said "fine, take it" or something along those lines. I didn't appreciate being made to feel like I was trying to rip them off. Hard to justify going back with Minsky's not far away making a better pizza with always friendly service.

Love the pizza. Great fluffy and crisp crust. Toppings are good and plentiful. The salad is about average, nothing fantastic. We have had the chicken noodle soup before and it was excellent. The pastas always look great, but we have not tried. They always have a good drink special. Check it out!!

We continue to give them chance after chance. Today will be the last time we go there, my wife and daughters went there and we all ordered, after a while they brought my daughters and me our food and told my wife her pizza would be out shortly and if not out soon they would remove the price. After 15 minutes of our waiter looking at our table and I assume talking to the manager (guy behind the bar drinking and talking to customers) who looked our way, she comes over and said she doesn't know what happen to the order and has taken it off the bill and is there anything else my wife wants to order, we explain to her we have to go and we just need our bill. She goes away for about 10 minutes and brings the bill, pizza is not on there but they didn't have the decency to give us a discount, bill was $40.00. While waiting for change my wife starts eating my daughters chicken wings and notice they are raw. Did I mention the waitress didn't come over once for water refills or pick up dirty appetizer plates that were stacked during the whole meal . Done with this place!

Food was great and so was the service. Will probable take out rather than dine in though. They dont have changing tables in their restrooms so if you have a toddler that needs changing, you'll need to improvise.

One of my two top Italian places in KC. I normally just make Italian at home - but nothing I make is as good as their food! Meat lasagna is my favorite. Also like the meatball casserole and the chicken Parm.

I normally don't have any issues but this evening I placed an online order. When I got there they said that someone has already picked it up. The new owner said that they can cook another pizza for me but I really could not wait for another to be made so I asked that my money be returned so that I could move on. She told me that she was not able to refund my credit card and that I would have to wait. She never offered to make amends for my inconvenience. When the pizza was done she just handed me my order and did not say anything. When I brought up the fact that she never offered a drink while I waited or anything all she could say was sorry. Well sorry, but you will not be getting my business again. The Sutera family would never have treated their customers that way.

Suteras is an awesome place to go for cheap and delicious Italian fast food. The pasta noodles are as al dente as that KCP&L power line going into your house. Their sauce however is the stuff of legend. Apparently all of the locations have different menu items as they are all run by different family members. Grandma's sauce though is the one constant and for good reason. It's one of the few sauces in town that I would compare to Garozzo's or Carmen's Cafe (Which is of course, Garozzo's sauce with a different name) The cheese bread is ultra garlicky and cheesy. Their baked pastas are decent and their Meatballs / Italian sausage are also pretty awesome. A favorite of my wife is the Spaghetti & Meatballs with a side of Italian sausage. The Alfredo's pretty awesome as well. The sad part is again, the noodles can be a little too tough.

Good pizzas, ingredients are very high quality. Bit pricy, but worth it if you want some good pizza. Beer selection is a little weak, just the standard domestic/local beers. Has a sports bar feel, lots of good TVs.

I had taken the family to this Sutera's a few years ago and had not been back since that time. My memory was vague on the pizza, which probably meant it was nothing special, but I did not recall anything bad about it. So for a location to meet some extended family on a Sunday evening over Labor Day weekend, I suggester this establishment. We rolled in a little after 6 PM. The place has a bit of a sports bar feel to it but is really mainly an eat-in or take-out pizza restaurant. They feature a thin crust pizza, mainly of the Midwestern/Chicago thin style that I have written about in reviews of previous pizzerias. Our family ordered 3 medium pizzas (I sampled 2): 1 cheese, 1 combo, and 1 ham with pineapple. My wife and I ordered salads (probably from a bag); the dressings were a little better than average. The pizzas came in a reasonable amount of time. LIke the Chicago thin-style, the pizzas at Sutera's are cut into squares (i.e., tavern or party cut). The cheese was plentiful. The sauce is not real spicey but is on the sweet side. The toppings (I had some combo and h & p) were all of good quality. Overall the pizza itself seems to be lacking something. The taste is okay but only a base-hit, not a homerun. I think a combination of the sweeter sauce with their crust is the issue. The crust, although it resembles a crunchy thin/crackery style, is actually rather limp. I was surprised it did not have more crunch or snap to it. I suspect they either use more shortening in the dough than average for this type of crust and/or their ovens are not hot enough to generate a crispy texture. In any case, the pizza overall is okay, maybe worth a stop, but not something you need to go out of your way to try. The staff were courteous and overall did a good job.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
