Saints is a very nice bar to grab apps and drinks. Great menu selection, including the Saints Nachos/Hot Wings/Fried Pickles. Very passionate staff, including our lovely server Angela, and vibrant / lively atmosphere. This place hat lots of big LCDs for game day. This sports bar will be very successful in the Shawnee area. Overall, we really enjoyed our time spent here at the local sports bar. Yelpers, come check this place out. Cheers...

Waffles fries were great. Fish from fish and chips was soggy and limp. Took 10 minutes to get a drink. Waiter with the hot tats on her pelvis was purdy but poor service doesn't make her attractive. Here waiting for my bill and no one cares. Hope management remedies Friday not problems. Not even half of the establishment is full.

I see why their location in Lawrence went out of business. Wait staff was friendly but too busy doing things other than providing service. Did not refill drinks, forgot waters and was generally scarce. Food was below average, even for bar food. The wings were drowning in sauce and were very, soggy. The fries were not very crispy although the waffle fries weren't too bad. In general, the food simply lacked flavor.

I came here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and just spend time together. I can't comment on the quality of the "sports" part of the sports bar - we came after a workout and I was more interested on getting a strong drink and some food into me. But they did have some awesome specials that Tuesday that we were there - tacos and margaritas! Of course, I ordered neither since I was freaking ravenous. Instead I ordered patron on the rocks (because I needed a strong drink) and the appetizer platter with onion rings, chicken tenders, cheese dip, and ...goodness I can't remember. Everything was freshly cooked (or rather fried) and tasted awesome! I also managed to snag a bite (or maybe 4) of my friends order of fried pickles. O.M.G. that's what I'm going to order the next time I'm here! Service was a little shaky, but that was understandable given that we had a large group and people were trickling in and finding seats as necessary. We definitely didn't make it easy for them, but they did a phenomenal job! We were well taken care of after the shaky start and were largely left to enjoy ourselves. I'm intrigued by the thought of this place having a Sunday Brunch Buffet as stated by a previous yelper in their review...might have to try it out...hm.... Definitely a great place to go if you want a low key environment (not during any major sports event, however) to hang with friends and enjoy strong drinks and good food!

Beautiful Friday night , sat at the bar, wonderful breeze through the open patio doors. Royals on the big screens, perfect evening to enjoy Saints in Shawnee. Ish, the bartender, greeted us with the drink specials, followed by the food specials. Made me appreciate him , even tho we didn't order any of the specials. Boyfriend ordered the salmon, which was outstanding , along with the side salad. He had enjoyed it on a previous visit so was disappointed when the portion was significantly smaller on this visit, and didn't include the rice. I had sweet potato fries that were very good. With all the positives, we wondered why the place wasn't busier. When we got the bill we found out one possible reason--crazy up charges. Salad dressings on the side, two up charges . My club soda with lime--$7!! What?! Guess there are no free refills on carbonated water. The cocktails were good and reasonably priced

Burger, onion rings, salad, a couple beers and $5 tip for the bartender...$30. Service was great. Food was sub-par except for the house salad (about par). Grease is not a food group.

Saints is pretty great! They have great apps and several appetizers to choose from. When you order any of the many sandwiches or burgers you actually have a choice of fries! Regular or waffle! I love waffle fries and this is a treat for me. Some of the appetizers they have are fried pickles, hot wings, pretzels, nachos etc. The entrees run the gamut of sandwiches, salads all the way to country fried steak and pizza! My favorite is the french dip. They even have a Sunday brunch buffet. I haven't tried it yet, but I hear it's awesome!

I do believe I have finally found the sports bar in Kansas City that fires on all cylinders! The bartender, Collin, knocked it out of the park. He walked us through their craft and import beer selections, made us aware of the specials for the day, and was very efficient with service. We have been back to other times since originally visiting Collin. Although we were disappointed to find out that Collin was just on loan for this location for a day, our other dining experiences were similar for the most part. Visit #2 was on point with visit #1. Visit #3 the bartender wasn't very good. The food came out wrong, our check was wrong, she never told us her name, and didn't pay much attention to us. However, on all 3 visits the kitchen delivered great food at a great price. The flavor and presentation were exactly what you'd hope for, but can't find much in the KC sports bar circuit. The food and kitchen performance made up for any shortcomings on our 3rd visit. I wish I could remember the guy's name who waited on us the 2nd time we visited. He did a fantastic job. We've tried the wings and a couple of the burger platters. I had absolutely no problem cleaning my plate. I have recently come to believe that amazing chicken wings just didn't exist in KC. I now stand corrected. Saints wings ROCK THE HOUSE! They have great wing sauce options and their wings come out cooked to perfection. Saints has great food, knowledgeable bar staff, and a fantastic inventory of beer and liquor. We are new raving fans of Saints. I highly recommend you stop here to watch sports, enjoy happy hour, eat good food, and check out live entertainment.

I normally would not frequent any Saints location based on how much I hate the Lenexa location, but since a work meeting was scheduled here, I had no other options. We had a group of about 10, and staff was super accommodating! They got tables ready and seated us almost immediately. Service was decent but a little on the slow side. Our server finally realized keeping a couple of water pitchers on the table was better than filling our glasses individually. We had an appetizer platter. I must say, it was pretty sparse for the $13 we paid. The chips and queso included a pile of tortilla pieces/crumbs. The fried pickles were delicious, but beware of extreme heat! I immediately had a blister after the initial bite-down. I didn't try the cheese balls or chicken strips. I ordered the jerk chicken egg rolls and I was really disappointed. First of all, they were just a tad over fried. The result was a cardboard-tasting dry roll. The inside was bland as could be with no flavor or spice to make me want more. Rose does not let food go to waste, but I couldn't eat these and passed them off to some hungry college boys at my table. My friend ordered the veggie burger (which I had considered) and boy was it ever delicious! He cut off a little section for me, and this is not your typical frozen Morningstar black bean burger! This really seems like it is made in-house. It is thick, juicy, flavorful, and just yummy all around. The patty was huge, the cheese was perfectly melted, and I regretted not getting it for myself. I may go in another time just to have one all to myself. Everyone else seemed satisfied with their food. I will give Saints another chance; this location is NOTHING like the Lenexa location. Yay!

Happy every time we go to Saints in Shawnee. Staff is friendly and recognize us as being fairly regulars. Food is always good and the drinks are always made great. The have good happy hour specials throughout the week. Definitely recommend Saints in Shawnee!

It's newer, lots of tv's, attentive staff...but the food just isn't great. I know, it's bar food...but the two times I've eaten there the bread was soggy on my sandwich/burger and the sides were pretty bland. Cool atmosphere for game day, just don't go there to enjoy a meal.

I think Saints is a great addition to Shawnee. I work right across the street and the lunch special is great. $7 for a sandwich and fries and for $1 more you can get a drink! Plus, great happy hour specials too. It has quickly become a very popular spot with all my coworkers. The waffle fries are amazing!!!!

Went here for lunch one day with co workers. They were newly opened, but it was dead inside. We got a table right away, but I never received any drink refills. I had to walk to the bar to get it because our waitress was not around. The food was good, but I wasn't super impressed. Due to poor service I won't be back. It took us a 2 hour lunch and we work 2 min away! Not very accommodating to working people on lunch.

This location is great for dinner or for a happy hour after work. Have lots of TVs all around to watch the games. I love the appetizer pretzels, very large and enough for a couple people. cant go wrong checking out saints.

Okay... I went last night and probably won't go back. The server (I couldn't hear her name) was a sweet, personable brunette with tattoos. She was the only good aspect of the place. The live band was so bad they actually thought that they would sound better if they played louder! The food choices were meh. I had a cheeseburger. Now if you are going to ask me how I want it cooked, then by gosh, present it the way I asked for! I asked for medium-well. It came out rare (cold middle and bloody). I also asked for waffle fries because that was what was on the menu: I got seasoned waffle fries. Again, not what I ordered. If that one word: seasoned would have been on the menu, I would have passed it up and ordered something else. Now, in Saint's defense, I didn't say anything. I was in too much of a hurry to get the hell out of there before the "band" started playing again. I left the server a nice tip as a way to apologize for her having to listen to that horrible music all shift.

My husband and I recently paid a second visit to Saints. Both times we had excellent food and service. He liked the KFC knockoff "chicken bowl" so much the first time that he ordered it again. I had a burger the first time and just soup and salad the next time. The beer cheese soup may have been the best I've ever had, and that's saying something since I recently lived in Lawrence and had the beer cheese soup at Free State Brewery fairly often. Our server was attentive and our food came quickly. It was a KU game night and the spectacle of the game on about 20 giant TVs was great. Too bad the game was a boring blowout; that was the only disappointment of our visit.
