I love the food and the people here. Isle it a point to eat here when I am anywhere near Salina. My favorite dish is the beef bulgogi. You receive a generous serving of well seasoned beef over perfectly cooked rice. You are then free to help yourselves to two side dishes. The last time I was in this was a delicious and mild cucumber kimchi and a wonderfully refreshing seaweed noodle salad. Besides the food there is always a Korean soap opera with subtitles playing on a big screen.

Delicious, fresh, HEALTHY food with a side of friendly conversation w/ the owners, fantastic couple....they made my day talking with them. Their motivation is to provide their community with healthy food choices. This gem was completely unexpected in the middle of Kansas......what an alternative to meat & potatoes? Yes please! The Bibimbap w/ chicken was AMAZING! See you next trip to Salina!

Their bibimbap is my favorite meal in all of Salina! I LOVE this place. Homey Korean cooking lovingly prepared fresh and hot. I think I'll go there right now.

Had a very interesting meal here. It was well prepared and delicious. Service was good and quick and the owner was very nice. Next time I am in Salina I will definitely stop here again.

First time eating here. As a very picky eater I was very pleased, even though I'm not big on a lot of veggies I found something for me. I had the Seoul Sampler. Very yummy. My only complaint is I ate way to much lol. Love that is original not a big chain restaurant n that you can watch them prepare your food!

Solid. Fast, fresh, open kitchen serving nicely grilled meats. Good cucumber kimchi. Nice folks under the direction of mama. Clean bathroom. What's not to like?

Limited menu, but what I had was very yummy and I am a fan! I was staying in Abilene, jonesing for a bibimbap, and I stumbled upon this place thanks to Yelp. And woah, this place was popping! It's very casual, almost fast-food style, where you order at the front and then bus your own plates when you're done. The fried egg on top could have been a little runnier, it's better for the mixing. But overall, the bibimbap tasted very fresh, as if there were no msg in the food (which is rare). It didn't leave me feeling tired and overly bloated from the salt, which is a very good sign. The sides, which you also get yourself at the front, were cucumber kimchee and marinated potato slices (these are very sweet). Both were very yummy. The owner lady offered me cabbage kimchee and that tasted very fresh too. I would definitely come back here all the time if I lived in the area. It sure beats fast food chains! And the people here were so friendly! I almost think this place could be a full service restaurant. People in Salina seem to love it here (it's one of the top places on both trip advisor and yelp) and there definitely seems to be a demand for other dining options. Korean food has a lot of veggies and can be a fresh option for folks who want to eat ruffage in a tasty way, haha. Also, it's located in a little strip mall that houses a chiropractor, a nail salon, and a massage therapy spa--so, in a nutshell, all of my favorite things in one place! I will definitely be stopping back in whenever I am in the area.

Eaten: Bi Bim Bap For fast Korean Food: 3-4 stars For road food on (ok... not far off) I70: 5 stars Result: 4 stars Note: as others have mentioned, there is no cabbage kimchi - they use cucumber.

Everything I've had here is fantastic. Bibimbap, Seoul Sampler bulgogi, japache, and the sides. I especially love the glass noodle salad. It's a small place and I never would have found it without a recommendation from a local. Totally worth the search though.

We visited this restaurant for the first time this evening, and though we aren't from the area, we plan to return. The food was fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced, with perfect portion sizes. The service was friendly and accommodating. Although we haven't had Korean food before, the food seemed pretty authentic as well. What a gem!

Delicious food. Great prices. Friendly service. I ordered the sampler--highly recommend. Husband wasn't as thrilled with his bibimbap--egg overcooked, not much meat. We also had the 'pancake' and the 'sushi.' Both pretty good. Kimchi wasn't very spicy. I overheard someone asking for "the cabbage kimchi;" so, I wonder if there may be secrets at this place. We were just passing through on our way home to CO. I give it 5 stars because, well, it was Salina Kansas.

Extremely friendly staff. Knowledgeable. Great food! It is a must.

I have been to Korea, and eaten Korean cuisine for years. THIS PLACE ROCKS! !

First time visiting this place. Located relative close to my residence. The place is smaller but clean. I did not see any significant health issues with the place. I liked the open kitchen- I liked to see how the food was prepared. The only short leg of the place- the menu is very limited. However, if the item you are looking for is in the menu then you are money.

This is easily the best restaurant in Salina. In fact, it has been quite some time since I've had food to rival the quality and taste of this place. The service is excellent, the owners are friendly, personable, and will quickly get to know you if you are a regular. My three year old daughter even gets a special plate when she come in with us! Bar none, a fabulous place with stunning food and excellent service.

My hi place some of the best Gimbab and kimchi! The Aloe juice is wonderful and healthy;) very clean and friendly employees. I felt welcomed, enjoyed the food and will defiantly be coming back. The atmosphere is kid friendly and had a wonderful variety of items to choose from from.

Seol USA has a clean, unpretentious charm and fresh, very tasty food. Sometimes it is the small details that separate a place, and this small, family restaurant hits on many marks: perectly cooked rice, tasty homemade kimchi, a nice selection of quality teas, and a tidy, modern korean decor. My bibimbap was full of crispy vegetables, savory, marinated grilled beef and topped with an over-easy egg. A delicious sauce had me scraping the bottom of my bowl down to the last grain of rice. Well worth the short detour off the interstate. Not to be missed by fans of asian food or anyone wanting a tasty, healthy meal in a friendly, clean place.

Ok I've been to lot's of Korean restaurants but this one by far is the best its is authentic. the place is small, great customer service very friendly, well definitely come again.

The food is great. Always eager to please when it comes to the food. There is a small selection but no matter what you choose you won't be disappointed. The bulgogi is delicious. A perfect mix of sweet and savory. Service is prompt and quick and the cook is knowledgeable.

Really more like 4 1/2 stars. My husband and I were driving through Salina on our way to Baltimore and stopped for the night. We found this restaurant on Yelp and figured we'd give it a try. We love Korean food and hoped that it would be good (in the middle of Kansas). They closed at 7 and let us in at 7:10. The prices are awesome and the food is good. Anyone who likes Korean food should come and try.

A great place ran buy wonderfully nice people. The kimche she makes is very mild, and not salted. She said it's only fermented for 3-4 days so no salt is needed to stop the process. It's made with cabbage and cucumbers & is divine. Everything I've tried (most everything besides the sushi) is delish. They go out of their way to help you, even staying open later & taking orders after closing. A great way to dip your feet into Korean cuisine.

Very authentic and delicious. The value is incredible. I would have easily paid a few dollars more for my bulgogi and japchae. Salina...it's legit.
(5)Chad G.
Awesome. Love it. Great food and people. If you don't know what to get I recommend the sampler.
(5)Raymond A.
Frigging awesome! The Lady at counter is always so friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop.

In town on business and saw this place as I drove by; very glad that I went in because I really enjoyed my meal. The owners were very friendly and made me feel welcome as well. If I lived in Salina, I'd definitely come back again! Only two minor negatives: although my pork bulgogi was very flavorful and delicious, it wasn't as spicy as I would have liked it. And I wish they'd had cabbage kimchi. They did have cucumber kimchi, which was good but, what is a Korean meal without cabbage kimchi? I highly recommend this place!
(5)Sam S.
We thought they closed at 7 pm according to Yelp but it was still open when we got there after 7:10 pm. We had bibimbap and chicken bulgogi. They were both very delicious. They have an open kitchen. Clean. Good food and good service.
(5)Cher M.
Great food great people, they cook everything in house from scratch and you can taste the care in every bite.
(5)Sam R.
Wonderful! Delicious food, friendly people, delightful mom and pop spot. As good or better than similar restaurants in the big cities I've lived in or visited. Will be back whenever I'm in Salina.
(5)Tony S.
Having served in South Korea, this restaurant reminds me so much of that place. The owners are so nice and humble. It's a hidden gem in Salina.
(5)Isabella H.
Considering that we are in salina, I would say this is a nice little place, though not comparable with those In bigger cities. They offer two fresh side dishes daily, and free refill. I had Korean cold noodle, not bad actually, though the version I had before comes with sliced beef. The dumpling appetizer is deep fried, in case you wonder.
(4)Sco M.
I myself did not find any "health issues". It was my first time visiting and I found the girl working to be quite helpful. The menu is very very small, and it was nothing to rave about. That being said if I am ever in the mood for something different I will be visiting again. I would like to suggest that they come up with more sauces, particularly a hot sauce that is available.
