Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.

I had business in Pittsburg and decided on some Italian food. It's a local, no frills restaurant. They don't serve beer or wine. They give you 2 large dinner rolls that are really good. I ordered the chicken & brocolli with tortellini. It had a cream sauce and was actually very good. They had a good selection on their menu. I would definitely go back on my next trip to Pittsburg.

Unfortunately this was the worst Italian food I've ever eaten! The stuffed mushroom caps were bland and soggy. Overall, the food was flavorless, odd textured and not good. Fresh ingredients and seasonings would go a long to turn Napoli's around. Maybe they need Chef Ramsey!

I really love the Alfredo sauce here. I get a Stromboli with ricotta cheese added, then ask them for Alfredo as the side sauce to dip it in, instead of marinara sauce.

I went to Napolis tonight with a few of my friends. We have been here several times and the food is normally good. Tonight, however, was a different story. We arrived in non-peak hours and ordered in a timely manner. It took us 45 minutes to get our food and the table that showed up 20 minutes after us had their food before us. Then she brought out half of our food for our table, one order which was wrong. I stated that my order was incorrect and the waitress went to ask how long it would take to make another plate (we were on a time constraint at that point). I did not have the time to wait that the cook suggested, so I ate the food as-is. When I was at the register she charged me full price for the meal I ordered (cheese lobster ravioli) but all I was given to eat was meat ravioli in a sauce with tiny shrimp pieces. It was a difference of about $4. They would not give me the difference between the two meals unless I went into the back and spoke to the cook. All I wanted was to be charged for the meal that was served. I wish I would have had time to speak to the cook, but I did not, so I had to pay the full price of the lobster ravioli and leave. I am furious, not because of the $4, but because of the principle of the sale. I WILL NEVER be going back to a place that cares so little about the customer.

From the outside this place is nothing special. When you enter the dining room its the same - nothing special. However, after my one visit and my dinning companion's two visits, we are fans of the food. The selections are unique; ever hear of veal fettuccine alfredo ? The pasta selection is limited to fettuccine, spaghetti and ravioli. Oh, and I would take a "pass" of the garden salad. However, the good news...the entrees were delicious, large and well priced.

Food and service was great! Really surprised to find a REAL Italian food restaurant in SE Kansas.

Reasonably priced and very tasty, quite an extensive menu, too. This rivals Italian places in many bigger cities. Service is generally OK, sometimes a bit slow during peak times...

The food was fair and overall pretty good, the service was lacking in detail...forgetting stuff...the place is pretty average and not a bad eat but not high on my want to return real soon list
