The egg drop soup and sesame chicken was good! Egg fried rice was not good. It had no flavor at all and nothing but just rice and a few bits of egg. Typically when I order fried rice from a restaurant it still comes with onions, maybe a little veggie, etc. Guess I got exactly what I ordered - egg and rice. Delivery man was super sweet. And for the amount of food I got, it was relatively cheap. I didn't take stars away because of my fried rice incident - I should have asked exactly what I would get so that's my fault.

Complete ripoff ! The food was disgusting not to mention my large combination fried rice contained 1, yes ONE SHRIMP. My large "seafood" soup for two contained one shrimp and a few pieces of imitation crab meat. These people are ripoff artists. I called and spoke to the owner and she defended selling me a container of rice for 10$. I advise going somewhere else.

Worst mogolian beef ive ever had at any chinese restaurant. I called and the response from them was they can't do anything about it. Service and food like this won't be too long in business hopefully. Do your self a favor and order from an actual restaurant.

Our go to place for Chinese take out during work. Food always comes out super fast, tasty, and steaming hot. The lunch special included an entree, fried or white rice, egg drop or hot and soup, crab Rangoon or egg roll, and a Pepsi drink. Staff are very lenient so you can choose to forgo the soup and get two, fried appetizers instead. The special is less than $7, and it comes with enough food to give you two portions!

Very tiny restaurant with fantastic food and wonderful owners/staff. Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and they do a great job of filling orders with accuracy. They have gluten-free options. Their gluten-free tofu with vegetables is marvelous-- the white sauce is incredibly delicious. When we lived in the area, we ate at China Garden at least once a week, and it's one of the things I miss most since we moved.

Amazing egg drop soup! My son wasn't feeling well and I advised him that egg drop soup would cure him. I also had soup. It was excellent. My husband had general tso's chicken. It came out piping hot and tasted great. So glad I took the advice of fellow Yelpers and checked this place out.

We get to go or delivery at least once per month here. The staff and owners are very friendly and always smiling and thanking us for our business. They have a huge menu with lots of choices for everyone. I get the old standby of Kung Pao Chicken. Not too spicy with a little kick. The wonton soup is a personal favorite. The amount of food lends for leftovers the next day. It's always hot and freshly made. Delivery can sometimes be slow but they still bring the food hot.

China Garden is just what you want in fast Chinese takeout. It's fast, it's cheap, the food is hot, and it's good. The place is small and spartan so that keeps cost low. The staff is friendly with authentic home country accents. The menu is simple and posted above the counter. You can see the cooks toiling in the kitchen in the back. I called in our order on Yelp, and picked it up 10 minutes later, no problems. We will be back. It's next to the liquor store near Hy-Vee, across from McDonalds. Don't go there if you want 'ambiance' while dining in. They do have a few tables, but that is about it.

Well, I didn't even get to eat the food so they could maybe redeem themselves as an actual restaurant. First of all, it took at least five times for her to understand our street address. Then she proceeded to tell us the meal I ordered was out of a main ingredient. So, I asked if I would get a discount or at least a substitute, and she right away shut me down saying, no no no we don't do that. You don't do what? Offer customer service?? At this point, it was purely entertainment. She then waited a bit as I thought about ordering somewhere else, and THEN HUNG UP ON ME! Ended up calling back and talking to the "manager" and she did not do a darn thing. Sucks! I will never eat here--the food actually looked pretty good. Word to the wise; in order to run a successful establishment you need good food, good location, and excellent service...or you won't survive.

#veggie #egg #vegetarian Came here with my wife and had lunch special. Ordered veggie fried rice and spicy garlic tofu. The food came with crab rangoon( with creme cheese), soup and a free soft drink. The food was delicious, and tasted amazing. Not hot and filled up with peppers. It actually had spice to spice it up. Loved that. They also had veggies cut according to the dish you are eating. Another good thing. The staff is very friendly and understanding and they actually care about what they cook.

Saw the yelp review so came in with my friend for lunch. The owner of the restaurant use to work at Bolings. The dishes resembles that of boling interms taste and presentation so that's a major plus. All in all, boling food for non boling prices, can't beat that!

The worst service on record! I had a large order delivered to my home. We were missing the pancakes for the moo shu and called to see if they could be sent out. First they accused us of lying, then said that we ordered the rice. On the website it lists the Moo Shu as being served with choice and rice AND pancakes... who thinks of Moo Shu without pancakes??? My husband explained that the website did not have pancakes as an option, only the rice and the pancakes are always included with that dish. She said he ordered it wrong and hung up. I called back again to find out what was happening. I was told they would send out the pancakes but we would have to return the rice. We said fine, although the website was to include the rice... hung up on AGAIN. Finally called and complained AGAIN to the manager who argued the same with me before he laughed and said the website had errors and that he would send out the pancakes in 10 minutes but they wanted back the rice. It took almost 30 minutes and all of my patience. I'll never order there again!

No matter which Chinese restaurant I go to, I order the same thing...Crab Rangoon, Orange Chicken, and if I'm feeling fiesty, Egg Drop Soup. The Crab Rangoon was pretty sad...didn't have a lot of flavor. However, I was VERY impressed with the chicken. I like the size, not too big where you have to take many bites off one piece, but bite sized white meat chicken. Good quality. I'm putting 3 because I LOVE crab rangoon and after eating their's, was disappointed.

Hot delicious food and warm friendly service! This little place only opened two weeks ago but things here are already running smoothly. The hot and sour soup came out piping hot and to my surprise was one of the best I have ever had. It struck just the right balance between flavors, not being excessively spicy so as to overwhelm the other more subtle flavors. In addition to the usual mushrooms, tofu and bamboo shoots I was also delighted to find strips of steak in there, yum! The server quickly brought our two entrees; my husband chose pepper steak, and I fell back to my usual standby of sweet and sour chicken. Now my husband isn't generally one who likes Chinese food, (getting him to go with me usually involves substantial bribes) so to see him not just eating, but enjoying every bite made my day. Of course I had to have a bite too! Very tender strips of steak in a light but flavorful pepper sauce. The dish wasn't drowning in gooey sauce. The steak wasn't tough. And it also was piping hot fresh from the wok. My sweet and sour chicken didn't disappoint. I was pleased to find that the chicken that had been battered was high quality chicken breast. We chose to eat in. Be warned there are only four tables that seat four people each, and we were reminded several times that they will happily deliver any order over $15. Good reminder considering once word spreads... this place is likely to be busy all the time! Do try the eggrolls, they were great!!

Great dinner special, 7.50 for an entree, rice, egg roll, crab rangoon and soup! Always very friendly and delicious! The portions are large and the food is consistently full of flavor! As far as Chinese take out goes, this is a sure bet for good food and service!

Hands down this has to be one of my favorite local Chinese restaurants. Wonderful food, good pricing, very clean and super nice service. I have been eating there for about 1.5 years now and never have been dissatisfied. I have tried several dishes and always found them to my liking. The owners are extremely nice people, remember my name and my preferences. I really don't think you can find a better Chinese place for the price, hands down.

Yeah I love this place too. I usually get delivery and they're really quick and the service is excellent and friendly. If I can say one thing, the egg drop soup is extraordinary. It has a peppery flavor to the broth that is like I've never had before really good. I usually order the triple delight spicy and it's chock full of meat and vegetables. It's just very good and consistent.

I work nights and sometimes when i wake up in the evening I'm not in the mood to cook. There food is always delicious and the staff is very warm and friendly. I appreciate their rewards for customer loyalty (extra spring roll here, crab rangoon there). I really enjoy their curry chicken, it's one of the best I've ever had. The flavoring is delicious and they balanced the veggies and meat together in a very satisfactory way! The chicken dishes are what I usually order and I've never been disappointed. China garden is one of my favorite places, try them out!

We love this place. The food is amazing - we haven't been able to find a good Chinese delivery restaurant in our area until China Garden opened. Everything we've had there has been wonderful. The service is incredible - last week my husband went in and picked up some food that I had ordered. They gave him several free things, and he got home and realized that he had forgotten the lo mein noodles - no biggie, it was a small order, only $2 or so. We had no issues with it. Well as soon as we realized that we didn't have the noodles, THEY called US and then brought the noodles to our house! Within minutes! This wasn't even a delivery order, and seriously, the noodles were a $2 addition on another meal. I was in shock!

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
