Definitely bar food!! Food was disgusting, environment was filthy & out waitress was incredibly RUDE! We asked to be seated outside because it's so cold inside and then were seated at a dirty table. When our food came out it was cold & stale. We will never eat at the Metcalf location in Overland Park again.

Not all that bad. We had a large group for a fantasy football draft gathering. It was a mix of 20 adults and kids. The staff handled the large group well. The good was good, but a little bit slow to arrive. The Thai Curry wing and Jerk wings had good flavor. Very loud environment with all of the TVs and music. It's not my first choice for a meal, but we will be back.

My husband I ordered three different flavors of chicken wings with a side of fries. The waiter told us food will be out in 15 minutes but those 15 minutes turned into in half an hour. Although the restaurant was not busy at all during the time we visited. He didn't even come on our table to check with us if we need anything (not even to refill our water glasses) during those 30 minutes. That was very disappointing! Beside that, food quality was great. It was fresh and hot enough to enjoy!

My boyfriend and I went here for a date, and the food was great as usual but what made the experience was our service. I don't know if it was because there wasn't many people there, but we got checked on a lot and everyone was really polite. In addition, the waiters were really accommodating, when I forgot to order my wings wet she went and got me an extra cup of sauce.

Went to BWW on a busy Saturday at lunch time. We ordered 30 various boneless and original wings with 4 different sauces. We also ordered 2 apps. It was what we would expect from the restaurant. We had to stare at our food for about 5 minutes after it arrived, while we waited for napkins and boats. One order of the wings were only partially sauced so we needed an additional sauce side. Everything else was great! 3 stars for service, 4 stars for food. Love us some BDubs!

Arrived at 10:30PM. They close at 11. Bartender poured my drink and gave me a menu. 5 minutes later that bartender left and new bartender informed me my order would have to be to go rather than eat-in. Umm, then why did original bartender pour my drink in a glass?? I made my order to go, having no other choice. Told him to get me a to-go cup. I don't know if it's policy that all food orders must be to go if placed within a half hour of close but it's unacceptable that I had settled in with a drink and later told I had to get the food to go. Oh, and the new bartender stank of cigarette smoke. Gross. Unappetizing. This was my first experience at this location. Won't be coming back.

I order food here often, more often than most I would bet. The staff here is often rude and they make me feel like an inconvenience when I get my order... Also almost EVERY single time I order they forget stuff. I was a server for several years so I'm definitely not just picking on the staff. It's easy to check tickets before you send someone out the door with their to-go order. The only people I have had this issue with are the people up front, who appear to be young teenagers. BWW please hire appropriate staff or teach these teeny boppers some manners and work ethic!

One of the best BW3 ive been to in Kansas City. The service was quick, the food was served promptly, and the atmosphere was awesome. The waiter for our table was very attentative and checked on us reguarly without feeling intrusive. We will definitely be back for some more wings and food.

Pretty standard BWW. Food is consistent every time. Service today is good and I've never really noticed them as slow in the past. This location is different from others in that it is a more open floor plan. Plenty of TVs with lots of natural light (so it doesn't feel quite like a dungeon like most sports bars). Not saying this is good or bad, but this location is central Johnson county so expect lots of kids.

Food is about the same at every BWW but this location is like watching a movie in slow mo. If you're in a time crunch...call it in beforehand

Service was excellent and food was amazing as always. Love this chain- always good quality no matter where I go. Now if they just had organic... :)

I absolutely love that they show you what's in your pick up order so that you know it's correct. I know it is awkward and time consuming but it's a nice touch. I've gotten better service at this one than many.

Food was fine. Our server, Susie, was terrible. We ordered four items during happy hour and she never brought them. I don't even think she put in the order. We should have said something, but we were just kind of amazed at her attitude and obvious disregard for serving us. She was blatantly avoiding our table, and loudly complaining about cleaning tables around us.

These are pretty good wings. Great to bring kids to. I like that you can customize the orders with flats or drummettes, order multiple sauces. But my favorite is that you can order the wings extra crispy which is awesome. Service has been pretty good. Still don;t understand why only Chick-fil-a is the only franchaise in the country where you can get great service.

Oh how the mighty has fallen...BWW used to be my go-to wings place. But in recent years the wings have gotten smaller, the prices have gotten higher and their beers selection has gone stale. To top it off on my last visit I was the only person sitting in the bar and it took about 20 minutes to get my food and when it arrived the dozen wings were overcooked and barely sauced. Add a beer and my bill was $23. I might just come here to buy the sauces and start making wings at home instead.

Uh ew? I went here with my family and ordered mild boneless wings, parmesan boneless wings, the burger with steak, onion rings, cheese, and medium sauce (waiter-recommended) w/ fries. Mild wings were mediocre with much to be desired. The parmesan wings were EXTREMELY salty with only a whisper of generic, tasteless italian herbs. I'm serious. It tasted like a salt lick. The highlight of the meal was probably the celery and carrots because they didn't have salt on them. Moving onto the burger. Steak looked like roast beef. I forgot. I paid only $9 for it. I guess you get what you pay for. Burger patty looked reallllly dry. Sauce was a fluorescent orange. Onion rings looked like they'd been packaged and reheated. Fries, although crispy, looked and tasted superficial. I often laughed at Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares when he yelled at restaurants for reheated prepackaged food but I can see examples of it in real life. Ok, first bite. Can't taste anything but the sauce. It's almost vomit-inducing salty, overly vinegar-y, and a little hot. The sad thing is that I can feel the texture of each component-the burger, the "steak", and the onion rings, but I don't get any of the taste. All I can taste is that repulsive liquid. By the third bite, I was mentally begging myself to eat more. The only reason why I got that far is because I hate wasting food no matter how repulsive it is. I've been gradually losing faith in franchises but this was the last straw.

Food quality here is pretty good. It does take them a bit longer than one would like to get their food. The wings on their menu isn't really that cheap, go on Tuesday or Thursday for their wing specials that day. Also good place to watch the game if youre interested in food and sports and alcohol as they have a full bar

"Boneless Wings" tasted like the chicken tenders you buy at the grocery store.Onion rings and fried mushrooms came straight out of the freezer and into the fryer. Iced tea tasted like water. Great place to watch sports and have drinks, bad place to eat.

wings only people! ya dont go to a wing joint and order anything else but fries and wings duhhhh! wings are awesome but what makes them is simply the different sauces! burgers and other food are not very good! yes price is high for wings but then again every place charges high dolla for wings which are cheap to buy! atmoshere and wings are good but high price on wings and higher price on drinks!

Great food, but service is slooow - especially for take out -- but for dine in as well. Which I guess is fine if you have a beer in front of you and you're watching a game, but most times I've been there I'm with kids and want food more quickly.
