We have been here many times and they have never disappointed us. We all order different things and every meat choice is flavorful. I always get the Beef barbacoa, love it in their burritos with everything on it and when they add the enchilada sauce topped with cheese, it's absolutely amazing! The people here have been here since day 1. Best service ever.

I used to go to this location when it was Cilantro Southwest Grill. The friendly family that ran that restaurant is gone, but many of the menu items are the same. Very similar menu, prices, and taste to Cilantro. The food was fresh and made to order. Everything tasted great, the staff was friendly, and I'd go back again for sure.

We've been here twice now and have really enjoyed it. The staff is very friendly. At both visits they offered us samples of all their different meats which was nice. I really like the pork barbacoa and carnitas. You order up front and then choose your booth or table. They have a good size menu including tamales, tostadas, tacos, taco salad, fajitas, and burritos. They will customize anything, just ask. I ordered the taco salad and asked for fajita peppers too. They grilled them up fresh on the flat top. The salad ingredients were fresh. It was a great salad. My husband had the burrito both visits. The second time he customized it and really enjoyed it. He loved the red sauce on top. For drinks, they have coke products, horchata, and beer. I'm not sure if this place will hold it's own, being in the same strip mall section as Chipolte. However the food is great and I really hope it succeeds.

Nearly perfect! Great tasting food and the lemonade is really great. Friendly staff and quick service makes it great for lunch. Fresh ingredients with a much better taste than most Mexican eateries. I usually get the enchilada, and it is awesome.

I've been there twice and good was great both times. I no longer go to chipotle because of them. I've gotten the burrito, tacos, and fajitas. Any of them are great. Preset sure anything they offer is great. There is a chipotle across the parking not lot. Don't wast you time go here.

Delicious food and wonderful staff!!! I don't write reviews often but I just had to for this place. The burrito was amazing and the chips and salsa fabulous as well! I have never eaten a whole burrito in my life! Thank you Zarape Mexican Grill!

Really good food and VERY friendly and fast service. We were here with a large group, and everybody was happy with food. The portion sizes are plenty. The owner will explain the different foods and you can try he meats to make sure you like it. I will definitely come here again.

Free Delivery! Order two items and get free delivery. This place is fast and tasty. We have tried the beef tostada and a couple of grilled chicken salads. The chicken is cooked perfectly and very well seasoned. It is one of the best fresh white meat grilled (served hot not cold) that I have had. The spinach salad was good but it was a little different and had cantaloupes in it. To me that's a little weird. I would have preferred strawberries. But it wasn't bad. The next time we got the grilled (served hot) chicken taco salad and it was fabulous. The tostadas are $3.25 and taste fabulous. We love this place. But the best thing is FREE delivery! How cool is that! This is a new favorite and I have never been inside the place. The food is delivered fast and hot and it's very reasonable.

AWESOME!! We decided to give it a try and skip Chipotle...GREAT idea! We have found our new favorite! We sampled the different meats before deciding...and we even got our toddler to eat beef(he is a picky kid!) Customer service was great too! Walking in, we are immediately greeted with big smiles and a huge hello! We stated that it was our first time and he showed us options, along with letting us sample(I know I already told you that, but I think it's awesome!) The decor was bright and fun and it was PEACEFUL! No loud music, no one chatting as loud as possible on their cell phone...it was perfect! Looks like this will be our regular Saturday lunch establishment! I'm glad we skipped Chipotle and found this gem!

This restaurant is a good mix of fast and casual when I go out with my family (with many small children) or I just want to grab something for myself. There is almost never a line. So if you don't want to wait at Chipotle for 20 + minutes, try this place out, which is just across the parking lot. I love, love, love their veggie burrito! You can customize your order however you want. I love the fresh vegetables that they grill as you are watching. The tortillas taste homemade because they are very soft--perfect with the mild red sauce (that they call salsa.) And it is always nice to have the option of ordering horchata to drink. The whole restaurant is very clean. The owners/employees are very friendly and patient while you decide what to order. Prices are reasonable too.

Found this place after going to Chipotle (across the parking lot) and not wanting to stand in the line for a taco. I love the food here. The owner and staff are very friendly. This is my go to Mexican fast food from now on. Good variety and tastes great.

Wow! Anyone that stops at the nearby Chipotle is missing out. This is incredibly authentic, delicious Mexican food. I had the trio of tacos with three different prepared meat, homemade tortillas and great guac. The manager gave us samples of each of their different meats and salsas and was incredibly friendly. This is my new Go-To for Mexican!

Good little taco stand type of feel but inside a strip mall (we are in Johnson County after all). A good mix of standard take out fare and regular great Mexican entrées, they have all the greats like enchiladas and fajitas, and then some! Great meat varieties that you can sample to help you make your decision. The food is more fresh than the Chipotle across the street, with a smaller line (for now).

Friendly staff but not so great food. We went there often when it was Cilantro and although it's the same layout, the Zarape food isn't very good. They have a really gross sauce they put on the burritos. It is brown and just has a weird after taste. They called it enchilada sauce but it did not taste nor look like any enchilada sauce I've ever had. I wish I had opted out of having them smother my burrito with it. Out of 5 people in our party, no one was really thrilled about their food, which consisted of burritos and quesadillas. For the price I think they should at least include chips and salsa but you only get beans or rice plus your entree. The food looked and tasted like it had been sitting out all day. The employees were very nice and we really wanted to like the place, but I doubt we will return. Being in the same parking lot as Chipotle I don't see this one surviving much longer than Cilantro did. We were the only ones there at 6:30 in the evening. On a side note, Monday nights are kids-eat-free nights.
