For a chain, not bad at all! Prices are great as well and the pizzas are wonderful. Really fresh ingredients and things on the menu I didn't expect to see. I would definitely like to give them my business rather than a piece of cardboard from Pizza Hut or Papa Johns.

A group of 5 ladies come to Spin pizza each month to celebrate life. This is a great place. We bring our own wine which they open for a modest uncorking fee. We have ordered pizzas to share, salads to share, although currently we order the pizza Mia because we differ on our favorites. I love the pollo y pesto and pollo y chevre pizzas, and have tried the spinach, Greek and chopped BLT salads. One of the ladies raves about the paninis. The service is order at the counter but we sometimes can charm a waiter into taking the order for us. Tonight our waiter recognized us from last month and surprisingly did not make a run for it. He earned an extra dollar tip for knowing who sang American Pie. The wait staff is always fun. The gelato is bueno too. Tonight was the busiest it has been but generally we are able to find a table and cause a ruckus with no fuss. If you are a fast food pizza lover then you won't appreciate the hand tossed fresh ingredient pizzas. Love this place!

My girlfriend and I often get the pizza with sun dried tomatoes and basil. It's amazing. They tend to mess up the order when called in from time to time, but overall, I'm a fan!

i was thrilled that Spin! opened a new restaurant at the Shops at Avignon 119th and Greenwood, its a really nice building just opened in June with patio, serves alcohol and has excellent parking, the pizzas are the same yummy ones as the 119th and Metcalf just a bit closer since i'm closer to Quivera. the new things i tried were greek salad and the gelato excellent! for you Yelpers closer to Quivera on the way to the Olathe 30 perfect place to stop in and eat.

This has always been our "go to" place...but not anymore. 1.The Tomato Basil Soup is flavorless 2. The pizza is all crust and very little cheese/toppings 3. Asked for high chair Twice and never got it. 4. Asked for water and never got it. 5. Had to ask twice for an extra plate 6. Waited for soda refills for a very long time. I get that it was a busy Sunday late lunch...but the patio was empty.

Great food and great service. Perfect place to take the family. Pizza is wonderful and so are the salads. I recommend making your own pizza with arugula and prosciutto, you won't be disappointed

My mini Mia pizza with salad was delicious. The pizza crust was especially tasty, the pepperoni was flavorful, the ingredients were fresh, and the serving sizes were good. The restaurant is fairly new, nicely furnished, and spotless. I found the service to be excellent. I was greeted when I entered, checked on while I ate, and thanked when I left. Amenities included TVs, upbeat contemporary music, and available patio seating. It was a very good experience.

While I have eaten here on and off for over a year, fluctuations in our experiences made me delay my Yelp till I had an even-keel perspective I must say that thanks to our most recent visit during 2015 Restaurant Week KC, I now have a firm fix on my perspective. Spin Olathe, on 119th Street, was packed the night we visited, but the service kept up at a smooth pace with all of the workers in efficient and quite pleasant moods. There was teamwork everywhere you looked. The RWKC manu here was for a couple and it was more food than we could consume, so it became a welcome lunch later in the week. The pizza is Neapolitan style. That is fresh, somewhat elastic dough cooks at very high temps and is done virtually in minutes. Toppings are ample and always fresh. After trying many versions (white or red sauces, meat or veggie, add your personal favorites too) I must say our choice is the Tres-Carne (3-meat). A very tasty and satisfying pie! Their salad choices are many, but we've settled on the Sonoma as our favorite with tender red leaf and spinach with grapes, raisins, apples, goat cheese, chopped glazed pecans, Blood Orange Vinaigrette. Before I get too wordy in their praise, let me inform you they also offer small plate appetizers, soups, 10 different salads, sandwiches. Now, I'm not a dessert guy, but I have to RAVE here about their Gelatto! They usually offer around nine or ten fresh flavors. I like the 'double malt', Mackinaw Island Fudge and (Name in lights here) Pistachio!!! Wines are very affordable with a good selection. You may purchase by the glass or bottle. Single glasses are a good pour, most at $7. If you find that you can't finish your purchased bottle, they'll package it up for you to take home. This isn't a Sports Bar, but IS a nice, bright gathering spot suitable for you, and your hungry family or friends to settle into. In warm months, their outdoor patio is quite the spot to get a side-dish of sunshine with your meal!

We typically order the white pizza when here and think it's absolutely fabulous. Tried the Italian sub which sounded good but was not. Seemed like something you would slap together at home when in a hurry. Highly recommend sticking to the pizza.

Definitely lunch with a friend/co-worker/client go to place for me. You stand in line to order, but your meal and drinks are brought to you, and the wait staff always does an excellent job to top of your drink or bring you anything you need during the meal. My favorite is the spinach salad, though I have yet to eat a pizza that I didn't like here as it's always fresh and unique in flavor! Make sure to save room for the gelato! Fun colors and flavors never disappoint!

All the ingredients(both actually and figuratively speaking) are in place to make this great. They have a multitude of offerings for pizza and salads with many ingredient options. I only enjoyed takeout so cannot speak to the full experience which may be different. The Sicilian pizza was good. It could have been a bit more flavorful. The salads are ideal. Overall, it was a solid 4.

Good food and quick service. Love the lean roast beef sandwich and the spicy Italian beef sandwich. The Gelato is good too. Pizzas are good.

This was our second visit here. While we appreciate very much the ability to order a Vegan Pizza, it could use some work. The pizzas are small and overpriced as they really aren't shareable. The wheat crust which we have tried twice is being over cooked to a burnt "Melba Toast." Pizza is about cheese and yummy crust and there is way too little of both. I was disappointed they took KC Bier Dunkel out as it is a favorite. One more try for us with maybe a white crust and "Extra" cheese next time.

First time dining here and we will be back! The service was great and the pizza was the fantastic. I really enjoyed the interesting pizzas they have on the menu. We had the green apple and Italian sausage 12" pizza and it was the prefect size for my wife and I.

I had a gluten free pizza. I really liked the crust it had a different texture than most gf pizza crusts. To me so far their gf crust is most like traditional pizza crust than that of other restaurants.

Delicious pizza! Spin is a good pizza option when you are looking for something a little fancier than your typical fare. You can select from a number specific pizzas (an equal mix of white or red sauce pizzas. If you want to make a creation of your own, feel free! There are also a few salad options and some other things I didn't bother to check out. This trip I opted for a 1/2 Caesar salad that was very good. I'm picky about my Caesar salads and this was a good one. My pizza, I decided to make my own mix of a white (bianca) pizza with Italian sausage and prosciutto, because prosciutto is delicious and should be on all things always. The pizza's are cooked perfectly, the crust thin and delicious and the toppings are excellent quality. I came home full and with half a pizza leftover. They also have gelato that people seem to like but I've never had space for it so I don't know. Our servers were very polite and on the ball. The girl taking orders and serving as the greeter when you arrive could maybe have cheered up a little. She seemed a bit annoyed to be waiting for us to decide our order (but nobody was waiting and being held up).

Great place! The pizza is very good and I love that they offer whole wheat crust. They offer beer, wine and gelato. It's cozy and the staff is very nice too. If you are looking for pizza- go here!

This is one of my new favorite restaurants! We have gone a handful of times since we moved to Kansas City and by far it's the best pizza I have tasted here. I have lived on the East Coast and know good NY pizza. We visited the restaurant this week and the kid who took our order made some mistakes, he was new and was working hard!! Because of his mistakes the food & service was delayed a little bit BUT I must tell you that it didn't even matter because the Manager-Shana was so accommodating and wonderful she really made us feel like we were valued customers. It was an excellent experience and I can't wait to return!!!

The exclamation mark in SPIN! Pizza's name is there for a reason - these pizzas are something to be excited about! First things first: ordering is unusual because it is a fusion of self service (order at the counter first) plus what they call "full service" afterwards. In theory this is convenient because you don't have to wait for your check and can leave at your leisure, but it doesn't work if you don't actually get full service - our water was never refilled and our server appeared twice, to deliver our food and to gather plates. A good concept but poorly executed. Because of this unconventional service setup, Spin has an interesting ambience - you can tell they're aiming for classy but it feels more like a food court in some ways. I'm ambivalent about it. I do, however, feel strongly about the pizzas - Neopolitan style (read: thin crust and not drenched in cheese!) with several pizza rossa and bianca flavors. The "mini mia" is especially worth it - a small appetizer sized salad or soup, plus a 6-inch pizza is a very filling meal for someone with a relatively small appetite like myself; (those with bigger appetites or used to American-style pizzas may find it a bit scant). My prosciutto and spinach pizza was delicious, not too garlicky as some pizza biancas can be, with a unique fig-onion marmalade that elevated the flavors. The crust is thin, chewy, and flavorful. The arugula salad was simple, not overdressed. It was an uncomplicated meal that delivered on all components. Even though Spin claims it's full service for all intents and purposes it is self-service so if you go in with this mindset you shouldn't be too disappointed. The food is what makes Spin worth it: spot-on classic flavors with a slight modern flair strikes the perfect balance for a solid, satisfying meal.

Wonderful selections superior service. We dined on the patio. My husband and I split a twelve inch pizza. They had no problem meeting our divergent selections on the same pizza. Jim had Italian bacon and portobello mushrooms. I had white sauce, baby spinach with fig and onion marmalade. Bellisimo!!!

The pizza was very good. The service was a mix of Shakeys and McDonalds. You order and start your tab at the counter, pick a spot to sit. Then have a server deliver your pizza, and get the tip. I'm not complaining, it was just weird. I would go again, it was good.

When Domino's, Pizza Hut, and Papa John's just don't cut it and you don't want to sit in Minsky's dungeon-like eatery, SPIN! is the way to go. I celebrate their vast array of pizza, sandwiches, salads, and other gourmet delicacies. A recent visit here started with a bottle of wine (18 bucks - only a four dollar mark up over liquor store price), a salad to share, and a veggie pizza. I can't remember the last time I sat down with wine, an app, and an entree for only 40 bucks. Outstanding!! The atmosphere is always energetic and family friendly here (at least the 119th street location), and the service was spot on. You really can't go wrong here - great options for everyone.

My favorite pizza place EVER. I always get the same thing - a mini Mia with their amazing spinach salad and mahgerita pizza... Unbeatable! The gelato is great too. Service is always good. A must visit for those in Olathe.

UPDATE: My wife and I (as usual) visited Spin! today for lunch. We had a $10 Spin! Club credit burning a hole in my wallet. Truth be told my wallet was doing a number on it so I thought it best to use before it became lint. Not sure when but a new salad has been added and it is not my "go to" salad. Here it is (from the Spin! menu): CLASSIC ARUGULA With thinly sliced fresh criminis, Extra Virgin Olive Oil & fresh squeezed lemon juice, Shaved & Grated Grana Padana, Romano & Pecorino What a wonderful salad. As part of the Mini Mia with a Pizza, tasty! I always order white sauce: Roasted Garlic Olive Oil Glaze instead of red. Make your own or pick from the extensive list. Great ingredients, great dough and sauce from a stone fired oven make for an awesome lunch!

Good tasting pizza. Had the spinach and garlic pizza with a salad and flat bread. Good size portions. Not your typical pizza joint so definitely check it out. Only complaint is service could have been better. It wasn't a busy night.

I have eaten here three times this week after being treated to a wonderful lunch by a friend. I love the mini meal and I've tried different salads but my favorite is the spinach salad. Getting a mini pizza is just the right size meal for me. I am thrilled to have tried Spin Pizza as it's just a mile from my house!

My husband calls this a "pizza and wine" place. It's classier than a "pizza and beer" place and the atmosphere, food, and service definitely shows it. The food is always delicious and served quickly. The servers have never been tardy on filling our drinks. Recently I switched to a no-dairy diet and this place can make your pizza with dairy-free cheese! I thought I would never eat pizza again, and when they told me there was a dairy-free option, I was in heaven. This is another place that I love to take friends from out of town. There's always something for everyone, even my vegetarian friends. I've only had the gelato once, but if you're a Spin Club member you get a free gelato after a certain number of visits. (I keep losing the coins you get to claim your gelato.)

As an omnivore I feel an inherent obligation to sample gluten-free and vegetarian options whenever possible and this last time I visited I wasn't let down. The gluten-free crust was crisp and delicious and the non-meat margherita pizza I customized was great. My server kept coming to check on us and refill our waters. Super attentive for the fast-casual concept.

I have been to 3 out of the 4 locations in the area. This is my second favorite (first is the Main Street location) SPIN. I go to this location for work week lunch specificially because it is much larger than the 119th location. It does get crowded for lunch but I haven't had to wait for a table like I have at the 119th location. The counter people have always been friendly. I agree with previous reviewers, the wait staff must have a refill locator on their trays because I never run out of water here. Like the other locations, the pizza and salads are fresh. I always get the same Pizza Mia special. My choice is the Cipolla E Chevre (goat cheese, caramelized onions over fig marmalade). Add some pepper flakes and this pizza becomes an ooey-gooey, sweet but yet savory delight. I also get the Chopped BLT salad. I think it's a perfect accompaniment to the pizza with the strong bacon and gorganzola flavors. When I can get out for lunch, this is always my choice since there is something for everyone....even the picky eaters.

I'm at a pizza joint, I knew I should have ordered pizza, DOH! Stone Oven Roasted Chicken with a Chopped BLT salad: $8.45 The bread on the sandwich was nice, soft and plump. (Hard bread is no bueno). The meat was a bit dry, which is why I took off a star. The salad was good; and it was a pretty hefty portion considering it was a side. Busy place in a busy shopping center so parking can be a headache. Note to self, next time, try the pizza!

Love Spin! in Olathe. Is it weird to say that one of my favorite things about this pizza place is the salad? They have a spinach salad that has feta cheese and candied walnuts that is so yummy. Their pizza doesn't disappoint either and there are plenty of options. I usually get the white pizza with caramelized onions and mushrooms. There's a great deal for less than $10 where you can create your own individual pizza plus add any salad on the menu. Their ingredients are fresh and they don't go overboard with dressing or sauce. If you are looking to drink, then I suggest the white sangria. It is delicious with pieces of fresh fruit. I think they still allow you to bring in your own wine. If they do, that's a good deal - you just have to pay a small corkage fee. It's one of the few places in KC that I've found to have an open patio which is nice and the ambiance inside is casual and lively. The staff here has always been amazing. A little over a month ago I scheduled a get together here for about 20 people and I feel sorry for the servers having to corral our rowdy bunch - but they did an excellent job and the manager came around twice to make sure things were going well. I recommend this place for a big group, a date or if you're just craving that candied walnut salad and want to call in an order to take home.

Good pizza and salad in a fun casual atmosphere. Portions sizes are terrific unless you like really BIG portions, which I don't. To me, the best Spin experience is on a summer night under the cool patio lights with friends, pizza and wine. Prices are good and the menu offers loads of topping options. My only (small) complaint is that the service can be a little spotty. You can tell when newer runners are delivering food. They look lost. We keep coming back though so it's definitely a winner.

For around the same price as a regular old pizza at a regular old pizza joint, you can get a SPIN creation with uber-fresh ingredients in creative combinations. Don't get me wrong, you can get a traditional pepperoni pie here (which is, in fact, the Boy's favorite;) but I have been indulging my more adventurous side by working my way through the menu, trying whatever catches my eye. My favorite so far is the Chevre e Cipolla, savory & delicious, but I still have quite a few items left to taste :-) The salads are fresh and substantially good too. I'm not wild about the very open, urban-esque decor, it can be quite noisy when the restaurant is full or nearly so, but the service has always been reasonably fast & very friendly. Save room for some gelato!

Spin has always provided me with a really good pie and friendly service. The place is right by my house, but I don't go as often as I should...not sure why. The options for toppings are really good quality and I love that you can make the pizza as inventive or basic as your little heart desires. The wine options are good, with several bottles at OK (not great) prices. Spin gives a good alternative for a cross between fast food pizza and sit down pizza. You can get a good pizza, a bottle of wine, sit down with your significant other and just enjoy yourselves at a decent price. Due to the design (open air) and open kitchen, it can get a little loud at times, so try to go at an off hour. Sitting outside might relieve that, but then you have the traffic from 119th Street.

I dined on the GRAPHIC DESIGN. Fresh Letterpress inspired graphics with wonderful side dishes of typography. My eyes feasted on creative color palettes and pattern. Seattle grunge designer Art Chantry once said he created logos and collateral that were much better than the actual bands. This doesn't apply at SPIN! as the food is just as good as the identity created by Kansas City's own Willoughby Design. My tomato basil soup was great but could have used crackers or a bread stick. My fiance and I split a Funghi pizza that had a nice balance of sweet sauce, earthy mushrooms and hearty whole wheat crust (only 50¢ extra). I'm new to Boulevard Brewing offerings but their wheat beer paired very nicely with the pizza. An overall nice value for $27. ***** SPIN! used a Kansas City design firm to create this great identity: willoughbydesign.com/por… *****

I'm always up for lunch at SPIN! I always get the same thing--the Pizza Mia--not because I love salads but because I love this salad: the Sonoma. Blood orange vinagrette over greens, grapes, apples, candied walnuts, goat cheese and raisins. I don't even like raisins, but I love 'em here. I try to get a different pizza each time, but my fallback is Cipolla e Chevre, roasted caramelized onions and goat cheese with a fig marmalade. Love the slightly sweet hint from the marmalade and always love caramelized onions. The crust is consistently charred but sometimes a bit chewy for my taste. My only 'meh' is the red sangria. It's a little too thick and fruit-juicy for me, but still tasty enough to finish a glass or two. The patio is nice and where I prefer to sit when the weather cooperates. Inside seating, while copious, can be too loud to carry on a decent conversation.

No change in the rating, rather more of a "note to self." Never pass on the spinach salad (sans bacon) no matter how tempted you are to get the larger pizza deal for the same price (a measly 8.95. What a deal!!) If I had opted for the full pizza deal the other night, I would have missed out on a wonderful side salad surprise (cue my list!) Never have I wished for a bigger salad and less pizza before in my life. That said, the goat cheese/arugula pizza was a bit of a let down. It was too dry, needed that tiny drizzle of olive oil to make it okay. I had asked for extra sauce. I have to say I'd hate to find how dry the pizza would be without the "extra" sauce. I know they are appealing to a healthier mindset here, and for that I truly applaud them. Sadly, this pizza would be why people cannot stick to healthier ways of eating. The thought of ordering that pizza again makes me think that *not* eating is a better option. Sorry, Spin! That said, I'll just order a full portion size salad next time I'm in and don't feel like being bad!

The pizza is very good. The servers are all very attentive. We had the Spinach and Garlic pizza- it had a great taste and the garlic was not over powering. The artichoke and olive flatbread dip was tasty. I will come back and recommend this place.

# 550 Spin truly personifies Neopolatin Pizza as Americans know it. The wood-fire oven is legit, the crust is sick and the high quality ingredients are bonafide like Popeyes. My favorite item to get here though is surprisingly . . not pizza. It's the salads. Their 1/2 Spinach Salad at $4.50 is a bargain. Add $1.50 more for roast chicken and you have quite possibly one of the best light lunches you can get anywhere in the metro. The freshness again of the ingredients is what's really mind-blowing. Everything is ultra-fresh and the dressings are not over the top. The Gelato here is just stupid good. The flavors are constantly rotated so you are bound to not find your favorite next time you go, but rest assured there's something equally as delicious taking it's place.

I love the menu at this place...their salads are great and they have a wonderful selection of pizzas. I was introduced to them several years ago at a Taste of Kansas City event and went several times after tasting their pizza (always getting the salad and individual pizza--best of both worlds). The menu rates a 5 star all the way rating. My 3 stars is for a mix of the service and food quality on my last visit. The Service: yes, we opted to sit outside, but on a nice day with other tables getting service, it did not occur to our party that getting beverage refills in a timely manner would be difficult, but it was a trial to get refills and the food took what seemed like a very long time to get to us (this could have just been anticipation, since I had not eaten at Spin! in some time). The Food Quality: So, when our food arrived, I swear I heard angels sing...my large plate had a delicious-looking fruit-filled salad (Sonoma) and piping hot 4 cheese pizza on it. I dug in, the quantity of dressing on the salad was overwhelming--it tasted great, but needed about two to three more times the lettuce for the amount of dressing--it was very over-dressed for my taste. I turned to my pizza, picked up a slice, and found it swimming in oil (literally, tons of oil on the plate). This being said, I ate it. The taste was great, but the combination of over-dressed greens and oil slick left a bad taste (kind of oily...) in my mouth. On my next trip, I will ask for the dressing on the side...and get a pizza with less cheese, more veggies.

I come here way more than is healthy. But, in my defense, I don't just get pizza! SPIN has delicious salads which is extremely difficult to find in Olathe. My favorite is the Sonoma which is amazing. It has goat cheese (my fav cheese), golden raisins, pears and a blood orange vinaigrette. Perfecto! I am a huge fan of the eggplant pizza. Sometimes i get the goat-cheese and onion. I like to fool myself into thinking I'm healthy so I like to get the eggplant to work on upping the daily veggie intake. Recently a friend had the primodora (one of the healthy veggies with tomatoes and spinach) and it was quite good! As far as drinks, the sangria is quite tasty but I am a pizza and beer girl and they have my fav Blvd pale ale. The gelato is always amazing. I've had many flavors but the mango and peanut butter cup are my favs. They also give you a little cookie with the gelato! I will never turn down a cookie!

I don't know how I haven't written a review yet for Spin! Pizza. I usually get my order to go. The few times I've dined in, service was a little slow. All the servers really do is deliver your food and fill your drinks. I usually have to track down someone down to refill my drink. I order out a lot from here and have never had a problem with my food being ready for me when I pick it up. The salads are phenomenal. I've tried each salad, but my favorite is the spinach salad. There is something about the candied pecans and goat cheese that go so well together! I've tried their version of the meat lovers pizza, but my favorite pizza is by far the Greco pizza. The sauce has a hint of sweetness and the crust is perfect. The Greco has feta, spinach, kalmata olives and roasted red peppers. What I love about Spin! is that it's always just enough food for a great price. I get the Pizza Mia which is a personal sized pizza and salad.

Party of 2 ate here on 31 Feb 2012 for dinner at the Olathe location on 119th. Arrived at 5:35pm and our wait in line wasn't long. Ordered the small Chopped BLT salad and the #4 FUNGHI (Mushroom) pizza. Sat on the patio which was quite delightful. Drinks arrived shortly after we seated ourselves and were told that (can't remember the name) would be taking care of us. Never saw (can't remember the name). Salad also arrived promptly, followed shortly by the pizza. To me the pizza crust was on the tough side, but the other party thought it was acceptable. Salad was good, and portions of both were just right. Needed a refill on iced tea but (can't remember the name) never said boo to us, so I had to get up and get the tea refill. If you want good pizza, pick another shop, from my perspective. And don't depend too much on the wait staff.

Came here with Kev L. and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised. Food: Great pizza, great salads and reasonably priced. I always pass this place up to go to Mi Ranchito, now I think twice about going to Mi Ranchito first. Customer Service: Always have had a great experience here. I always appreciate it when I am just about to go empty on my drink and the waiter/waitress fills up the glass without having to ask. It's a small thing, but often missed. Atmosphere: Has a nice vibe inside. Kind of reminds me of a ski lodge for some reason. Perhaps because it's mostly darker woods inside. In any event, new favorite Italian place for now.

NOM CITY. I had to trek down to Olathe to get some things from my mom tonight, and suggested we get Spin for dinner. She and I split the mushroom pizza, while my stepdad and brosef shared a pepperoni. There were no leftovers between the four of us. Because it was DELASH. Mmm--thin crust. I'll definitely be back (although probably to the closer OP location) and I think I'll try one of their really tasty looking salads. Spin: Puh-lease put a downtown location on your to-do list. I'd be your lunchtime devotee.

Located in a mini-mall on 119th St. in Olathe (and sharing it with some other places like Mi Ranchito and Domo) this outlet of SPIN! is pretty close to where I live. I stopped in for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised -- it seemed much bigger inside than from outside, and it's decorated in an open-brick, exposed-painted-ductwork, fairly urban style. I had the Pizza Mia combination -- a small, individual 6" pizza accompanied by a soup or salad for $8 and change. Nice! I ordered the Margherita pizza with a side Caesar Salad. The pizza was good. Not exactly the classic Margherita, with slices of tomato and basil leaves, this one had cherry tomatoes on each slice and a chiffonade of basil. It was tasty, though, the crust was good, and the salad was fine, too. You order and pay when you come in, take a number placard to your table, and your food is brought to you when it's ready. The handsome, hunky server probably didn't do any harm to SPIN's image, in my mind! But in mid-afternoon it was a nice quiet place to lunch and read my book along with my food. So I'll be back. Good food, good price, good location! For dessert they have gelato, but I didn't have any this time. I just wish they'd stay open later -- they seem to close at 9:00 p.m. most nights.

Really great pizza for the price. I dug the Spinach Garlic Pizza, and the selection of gelatto for dessert was great. The atmosphere was pretty hip for the burbs, loved the lighting.

I've been to this Spin and the one in Lee Summit and had fantastic food and service at both. The value is amazing! The small pizza and salad are just the right amount of food at a great price. It's called the Mia combo and you are actually getting fresh ingredients at greasy fast food chain prices. I love the Spinach Salad and the # 21. I just need to try some wine or gelato with my meal next time to make the experience complete!

On was back from the dog park decided to give Spin pizza another chance tonight, picked up a prosciutto, spinach and roasted onion fig marmalade and was impressed. Crust was perfect, amount of spinach, cheese, marmalade toppings was well proportioned, only down side was gray prosciutto and never being one to complain about too much meat, it could have used a little less, picked off about half and gave it to the dogs and everyone was happy.

I am a harsh judge when it comes to pizza. In my opinion, most places outside of Chicago make pizza that tastes like cardboard with ketchup. I am also very skeptical when pizza places do the "California" thing and start putting all kinds of toppings on pizza. To top it all off, a place that looks to trendy makes my wallet cringe. Everything was set for me to actually hate this place. I walk in and I see that this is not just a trendy place that offers pizza, but their big thing is also having just as many salads. I am glad I did not run for the heals though. I have tried 3 different kinds of pizza's and two salads and they have personal chef written all over. I am amazed at how well the flavors are balanced and the food that you get for your money is a great value. I am also not a fan of salad, but everything I have tasted here makes me wonder if the caloric intake is outrageous because they are both filling and delicious. The service has been pretty good, and even during busy times your drink is always full. The outside sitting area is actually better than most places that have a patio almost as an afterthought.

I'm usually very wordy. This review is simple. Go here. Often. Try everything. It's wonderful. Whatever they do, they have done it RIGHT every time. I live a mere 1/4 mile from the place, and if I didn't have traffic on 119th street to contend with, I'd eat this every day of the week. For some reason, I never feel like I ate "bad" for me food either. It's all so light and yummy. Love love love it.

I have been going to SPIN for quite some time. The food is OK, maybe more importantly consistent. The service has been good. The last 2 visits have been different. I almost had to tackle a waiter to get a drink refill (kind of like I feel at Home Depot when I want to get one of those guys with orange outfits to stop and answer a question). In their defense they were busy but of course that kind of service will solve that also. I'll give them a month or two and probably go back and hope for the best.

Knowing that I am about to eat at my favorite restaurant makes my mouth water. It is a Friday night and I have had a long week. I freshen up my make up and wait for my boyfriend to ring my doorbell. As I'm anxiously awaiting his arrival, I start to smell the overwhelming sweet aroma as the doors open to my favorite pizza place. I can't wait to look at the menu to see if I want to go with my normal order, or if I would like to switch it up a bit. I realize that I have gotten ready fifteen minutes early because I'm so excited for what is to come next. As we pull into the parking lot I observe the crowd on the patio, enjoying wine and laughing amongst each other. The smell of the wood fire immediately enters my nostrils and my boyfriend and I smile at each other knowing we are about to end the week right. We get out of the car and walk through the parking lot hand in hand; our strides are long, knowing what we are about to indulge in one of our favorite meals. He opens the door for me and my taste buds are overwhelmed at the smell of sweet marinara sauce, fresh wood fire baked dough and home made meatballs. We are greeted with warm smiles and get the chance to look over the menu as we wait in line. Realizing that we can't part with our traditional order, we proceed to the register. To start, he orders two drinks and the wood fire baked flat bread with the trio order of hummus to start with. Next, we order a large Caesar salad to split and a half Italian meatball, and half Margarita pizza to split. My boyfriend takes our ticket number and we head into the crowded restaurant to find our table. As we find the table that suits us best, and he pulls out my chair for me to take a seat. Families and children are chatting and enjoying their meals surround us. We start to discuss the day as the waiter drops off our drinks, flat bread and hummus trio. We dig in immediately. This is the type of meal where you say, "Yum!" or "Wow!" after every bite no matter how many times you have eaten there. The service is always wonderful and the food is consistent in its deliciousness. As we are finishing up the appetizer, the server comes back to our table bearing more gifts. He drops off the Caesar salad and it looks just as I was expecting. The croutons are home made and the dressing isn't creamy, but instead a vinaigrette. The chef appropriately distributes the dressing and he always seems to add the perfect amount of croutons. The top of the salad is sprinkled with Parmesan cheese and we cannot wait to enjoy. We get lost in conversation and before we know it the pizza is being delivered to our table. As the server sets it on the table and asks if we need anything else, the mozzarella cheese mixed with the marinara sauce over takes my taste buds. The crust is barely brown, and the basil is sprinkled across the top of the pizza with perfection. The presentation of the food tells us that the Chef enjoyed making it as much as we enjoy eating it. As I bite into my first bite, I am overwhelmed at the warmth and stringiness of the cheese. I feel a piece get caught on my chin, but that seems trivial at this point. The whole cherry tomatoes that top my half of the pizza are tender and prepared exactly as I wanted. With each bite I take I am reminded of why this restaurant happens to be our favorite date night venue. I reach to grab my second piece and notice that one of my boyfriend's meatballs has made it onto my pizza. I am so excited because Spin makes some of the best meatballs I have ever tasted. As we enjoy our pizza we listen to Frank Sinatra serenade us through the speakers of the restaurant. While our meal comes to an end, we begin to eye the "made daily" gelato bar. We excuse ourselves from the table and decide to split a serving of the pistachio flavor. After we sit back down at the table with our gelato in hand, we begin to enjoy its smooth and creamy texture. The light green color of the gelato makes it even tastier. It has finally come time to close our tab and thank the waiter for all of his wonderful assistance. Spin always has the best service, and every employee is happy to be there. They appear to enjoy their work, and they also seem to truly enjoy the company of their guests. From the moment you enter the restaurant until the moment you leave, you have that warm welcoming feeling. As we get up from the table and head for the door, I inhale until my lungs are full, capturing and delighting in the delicious smell. As we get into the car we find ourselves still talking about how good our meal was and how satisfied we are. We both look forward to the next date night at Spin. Looking forward to the best pizza, great company, wonderful service and a fun atmosphere.

A religious experience! Got a gift certificate to try this place and ooh la la had the Greek salad and tomato basil sauce along with rosemary flat-bread with hummus. Ok I'm sure many of you go for the pizza but I'm not big on pizza and I'm telling you that was the BEST Greek salad I've ever had and the rest was just as killer.

I love their pizzas. - most of the times. I especially like the fact that they are not just an Americanized version of a pizza. The pizza Mia with a salad is really a good deal, plus you get both, the carbs and the healthy.

One of my favorite places to eat in Olathe. Great place to take a date or to meet up with friends. I love sitting out on the patio on a nice summer or spring evening with a nice glass of wine and a Pizza Mia combo. My favorite is the chopped BLT salad with either the #5, #22 or #23 pie. The wait staff is very friendly, food is great and served up quickly. What more could you ask for?

Love this place!

i was thrilled that Spin! opened a new restaurant at the Shops at Avignon 119th and Greenwood, its a really nice building just opened in June with patio, serves alcohol and has excellent parking, the pizzas are the same yummy ones as the 119th and Metcalf just a bit closer since i'm closer to Quivera. the new things i tried were greek salad and the gelato excellent! for you Yelpers closer to Quivera on the way to the Olathe 30 perfect place to stop in and eat.

For a chain, not bad at all! Prices are great as well and the pizzas are wonderful. Really fresh ingredients and things on the menu I didn't expect to see. I would definitely like to give them my business rather than a piece of cardboard from Pizza Hut or Papa Johns.

This has always been our "go to" place...but not anymore. 1.The Tomato Basil Soup is flavorless 2. The pizza is all crust and very little cheese/toppings 3. Asked for high chair Twice and never got it. 4. Asked for water and never got it. 5. Had to ask twice for an extra plate 6. Waited for soda refills for a very long time. I get that it was a busy Sunday late lunch...but the patio was empty.

For a chain, not bad at all! Prices are great as well and the pizzas are wonderful. Really fresh ingredients and things on the menu I didn't expect to see. I would definitely like to give them my business rather than a piece of cardboard from Pizza Hut or Papa Johns.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

For a chain, not bad at all! Prices are great as well and the pizzas are wonderful. Really fresh ingredients and things on the menu I didn't expect to see. I would definitely like to give them my business rather than a piece of cardboard from Pizza Hut or Papa Johns.

(4)Janice W.
Good food and quick service. Love the lean roast beef sandwich and the spicy Italian beef sandwich. The Gelato is good too. Pizzas are good.
(5)Paula J.

(4)Melanne H.

(4)GMari E.
Great place! The pizza is very good and I love that they offer whole wheat crust. They offer beer, wine and gelato. It's cozy and the staff is very nice too. If you are looking for pizza- go here!
(5)Danielle W.

(4)Diana L.
(5)Rod F.
The pizza was very good. The service was a mix of Shakeys and McDonalds. You order and start your tab at the counter, pick a spot to sit. Then have a server deliver your pizza, and get the tip. I'm not complaining, it was just weird. I would go again, it was good.
(4)Michael P.
(4)Alisha C.
My favorite pizza place EVER. I always get the same thing - a mini Mia with their amazing spinach salad and mahgerita pizza... Unbeatable! The gelato is great too. Service is always good. A must visit for those in Olathe.
(5)Mike H.
(4)Youshi P.
Good tasting pizza. Had the spinach and garlic pizza with a salad and flat bread. Good size portions. Not your typical pizza joint so definitely check it out. Only complaint is service could have been better. It wasn't a busy night.
(4)Sarah G.
(4)Lori V.
(5)Stephen H.

(4)Susan C.

(5)Lori T.
(4)Kay L.
(4)Zach G.
(4)Tom M.
Great as always. Over the top service. Happy atmosphere!
(4)Imani M.
Great service,.even greater food and the wait staff was awesome, super friendly.and.checkrf. I had the spinach salad which was so delicious, and my dad had the soup and salad.combo..needless to say we left more than satisfied Would definitley recommend.to anyone

(4)Libby J.
The pizza is very good. The servers are all very attentive. We had the Spinach and Garlic pizza- it had a great taste and the garlic was not over powering. The artichoke and olive flatbread dip was tasty. I will come back and recommend this place.
(5)Kev L.
(5)Alicia R.
(3)Jacob H.
Great beer and wine. Then the pizza just makes it even better.
(5)Phil W.
My wife and I love this place! The staff is friendly and always helpful. Thanks for offering gluten-free crust - love it with the flatbread and white bean hummus! Best restaurant in Kansas! From New York and I feel right at home! Thanks!
(5)Katherine J.
(5)Nicole B.

Had 5 cheese white gluten free pizza and olive appetizer. Good.

(4)Rob M.
(4)Robert P.
We love these wood-fired pizzas, the salads are great and the rustic industrial interior is very cool.
(5)Kelly D.
I love their salads. L.O.V.E. I like their pizza. Some days the pizza just seems better than other days. Not consistent. Fun place to meet a friend for lunch, but wouldn't make it a date night.
(4)Alison M.
Really great pizza for the price. I dug the Spinach Garlic Pizza, and the selection of gelatto for dessert was great. The atmosphere was pretty hip for the burbs, loved the lighting.
(4)Tanya L.
(5)Lou A.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I always love getting the pizza mia with the 8 color salad. To die for! I visit this place everytime I come home!
(5)Steve V.
(4)John T.
Pretty good pizza, salads and sandwiches. Prices might be a little on the high side.
(3)John G.
(4)Elizabeth S.
(4)Mary D.

(4)Tanya L.
(5)Lou A.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I always love getting the pizza mia with the 8 color salad. To die for! I visit this place everytime I come home!

(4)Rob M.
(4)Steve V.
(4)John T.
Pretty good pizza, salads and sandwiches. Prices might be a little on the high side.
(3)Lori T.
(4)Jane B.
(5)Todd S.
My girlfriend and I often get the pizza with sun dried tomatoes and basil. It's amazing. They tend to mess up the order when called in from time to time, but overall, I'm a fan!
(4)Gloria L.
yum!!! i had the prosciutto & spinach white personal pizza w/ soup... and i really enjoyed it!!! the service was very good... and i was overwhelmed by all the choices!!!! there were so many to choose from. i sure hope to go back on my next trip to kansas!
(4)Michelle G.
i was thrilled that Spin! opened a new restaurant at the Shops at Avignon 119th and Greenwood, its a really nice building just opened in June with patio, serves alcohol and has excellent parking, the pizzas are the same yummy ones as the 119th and Metcalf just a bit closer since i'm closer to Quivera. the new things i tried were greek salad and the gelato excellent! for you Yelpers closer to Quivera on the way to the Olathe 30 perfect place to stop in and eat.
(4)Matt C.
Great food and great service. Perfect place to take the family. Pizza is wonderful and so are the salads. I recommend making your own pizza with arugula and prosciutto, you won't be disappointed
(5)Meggan P.
(2)Steve D.

(4)Shana M.
We typically order the white pizza when here and think it's absolutely fabulous. Tried the Italian sub which sounded good but was not. Seemed like something you would slap together at home when in a hurry. Highly recommend sticking to the pizza.
(4)Gina M.
(4)Alan C.
(4)Janice W.
Good food and quick service. Love the lean roast beef sandwich and the spicy Italian beef sandwich. The Gelato is good too. Pizzas are good.
(5)Paula J.
(2)Kevin T.
First time dining here and we will be back! The service was great and the pizza was the fantastic. I really enjoyed the interesting pizzas they have on the menu. We had the green apple and Italian sausage 12" pizza and it was the prefect size for my wife and I.
(4)Melanne H.
I had a gluten free pizza. I really liked the crust it had a different texture than most gf pizza crusts. To me so far their gf crust is most like traditional pizza crust than that of other restaurants.
(4)Layne R.
(4)GMari E.
Great place! The pizza is very good and I love that they offer whole wheat crust. They offer beer, wine and gelato. It's cozy and the staff is very nice too. If you are looking for pizza- go here!
(5)Clarice W.
(4)Diana L.
(5)Rod F.
The pizza was very good. The service was a mix of Shakeys and McDonalds. You order and start your tab at the counter, pick a spot to sit. Then have a server deliver your pizza, and get the tip. I'm not complaining, it was just weird. I would go again, it was good.
(4)Stephen H.
(4)Jennifer S.
For a chain, not bad at all! Prices are great as well and the pizzas are wonderful. Really fresh ingredients and things on the menu I didn't expect to see. I would definitely like to give them my business rather than a piece of cardboard from Pizza Hut or Papa Johns.
(4)Michael P.
(4)Alisha C.
My favorite pizza place EVER. I always get the same thing - a mini Mia with their amazing spinach salad and mahgerita pizza... Unbeatable! The gelato is great too. Service is always good. A must visit for those in Olathe.
(5)Mike H.
(4)Youshi P.
Good tasting pizza. Had the spinach and garlic pizza with a salad and flat bread. Good size portions. Not your typical pizza joint so definitely check it out. Only complaint is service could have been better. It wasn't a busy night.
(4)Sarah G.
(4)Lori V.
(5)Danielle W.
(5)Amanda S.
(4)Susan C.
(3)Courtney H.
Love Spin!
(5)Kay L.
(4)Zach G.

(4)Lisa A.
(4)Joi B.
(4)Libby J.
The pizza is very good. The servers are all very attentive. We had the Spinach and Garlic pizza- it had a great taste and the garlic was not over powering. The artichoke and olive flatbread dip was tasty. I will come back and recommend this place.
(5)Kev L.

Great beer and wine. Then the pizza just makes it even better.

My wife and I love this place! The staff is friendly and always helpful. Thanks for offering gluten-free crust - love it with the flatbread and white bean hummus! Best restaurant in Kansas! From New York and I feel right at home! Thanks!

Had 5 cheese white gluten free pizza and olive appetizer. Good.

(5)Marlyse C.
I love their pizzas. - most of the times. I especially like the fact that they are not just an Americanized version of a pizza. The pizza Mia with a salad is really a good deal, plus you get both, the carbs and the healthy.
(4)Jeff R.
(4)Matt C.
Great food and great service. Perfect place to take the family. Pizza is wonderful and so are the salads. I recommend making your own pizza with arugula and prosciutto, you won't be disappointed
(5)Meggan P.
(2)Steve D.

(4)Gina M.
(4)Alan C.
(4)Janice W.
Good food and quick service. Love the lean roast beef sandwich and the spicy Italian beef sandwich. The Gelato is good too. Pizzas are good.
(5)Paula J.

(4)Melanne H.
I had a gluten free pizza. I really liked the crust it had a different texture than most gf pizza crusts. To me so far their gf crust is most like traditional pizza crust than that of other restaurants.

(4)GMari E.
Great place! The pizza is very good and I love that they offer whole wheat crust. They offer beer, wine and gelato. It's cozy and the staff is very nice too. If you are looking for pizza- go here!

(4)Danielle W.
(5)Lori T.

(4)Diana L.
(4)Alisha C.
My favorite pizza place EVER. I always get the same thing - a mini Mia with their amazing spinach salad and mahgerita pizza... Unbeatable! The gelato is great too. Service is always good. A must visit for those in Olathe.
(5)Mike H.
(4)Youshi P.
Good tasting pizza. Had the spinach and garlic pizza with a salad and flat bread. Good size portions. Not your typical pizza joint so definitely check it out. Only complaint is service could have been better. It wasn't a busy night.
(4)Sarah G.
(4)Lori V.
(5)Amanda S.
(4)Susan C.

Great beer and wine. Then the pizza just makes it even better.

My wife and I love this place! The staff is friendly and always helpful. Thanks for offering gluten-free crust - love it with the flatbread and white bean hummus! Best restaurant in Kansas! From New York and I feel right at home! Thanks!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place! I always love getting the pizza mia with the 8 color salad. To die for! I visit this place everytime I come home!

Pretty good pizza, salads and sandwiches. Prices might be a little on the high side.

(5)Marlyse C.
I love their pizzas. - most of the times. I especially like the fact that they are not just an Americanized version of a pizza. The pizza Mia with a salad is really a good deal, plus you get both, the carbs and the healthy.
