Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

The two piece meal with side, biscuit, drink, and an extra side rang up at a total of $8.53. The spicy chicken coating was nicely seasoned, the meat was juicy, and the pieces (breast and thigh) were significantly larger than those at KFC. I also liked the cajun fries, the Cole slaw, and the buttermilk biscuits. The restaurant interior was nicely done, with cajun-themed music playing, but could have been cleaner. The service was quick, and somewhat friendly.

My husband and I went there last month for dinner. This is probably the worst Popeyes I have ever been to. The entire staff looked confused and weren't friendly at all. There were at least 10 people waiting for their order.....some waited a good 25 minutes. The beverage area was a complete mess....no straws or lids for the cups. When we got our chicken, it was like eating fried bones....no meat on them at all. It was as if they cut out the breast meat to make chicken tenders and just fried up the bones to serve to customers. We each ordered the 3 piece meal....in addition to the fried breast bones, we got a drummette and a dried out wing. I remember when Popeyes actually served fried chicken and took pride in being one of the best fried chicken joints in the nation. What happened???

This place is horrible! The last time we went in here the bottom of the biscuits looked all moldy! My fiance always buys a box but instead of complaining we just threw it away. Today, we decided to give it one more chance. He bought an extra 6 as always and those too had a moldy look to the bottom of them. This time I asked to get new ones and explained why and Erica W told me that it's from the bottom of the pan. She then brought out 6 more that also looked moldy. The table next to us complained about the same thing. We ended up just throwing them away and left! Customer service was horrible, apparently their pans are dirty, and we even seen the cook washing his gloves instead of replacing them with new ones. We will never return to this location!

The staff was great but my only complaint is they gave us stale chicken although I asked them to make fresh. The chicken tasted like as if they cooked early morning and been sitting there all day long. I went there for late dinner right before closing. I was very disappointed when I got my order. I didn't ask for another one as I was hungry and running out of time. I might not go this location again. The reason I am giving 2 star because of the staff friendliness, location cleanliness, and the cashier gave us the good special deal on 6 pieces of chicken with free soda.

warning: they dont have mac & cheese on their menu, to me that is their best dish by far, otherwise great chicken, but go to a place that has the mac & cheese!

The food was great, the interaction of the staff behind the counter was more confusing than it had to be. She didn't give me a chance to talk, so I didn't get to tell her my order, she assumed that I was sharing wings with my husband and tried to shove two drinks on our order.. After correcting our order, we Got our food, it was great, especially the biscuit, my favorite thing there... In the middle of eating our food, We all of a sudden started smelling smoke, looked behind us and a worker was at the door smoking..big disappointment. We finished our food, as we were leaving I noticed a guy/customer talking loud on what looked like a land line phone from the restaurant, even More unprofessional. We left the restaurant and outside we came across two workers smoking black and milds right in front of the door. They were also yelling obnoxiously across the parking lot at people. We were a bit disgusted with such a disrespectful appearance being in such a nice part of the businesses in Olathe. This was located on 119th and Blackbob.. Food was great. The unprofessional staff, not so much. Made us not want to come back, even if the food was good. Thanks for reading.

OK, let me preface this by saying that (1) I am not a big fan of chicken in general (yeah, I know...) and (2) I tend to shy away from fried foods in general. However, occasionally, both stars align in deliciousness and unhealthiness. The star shines on Popeye's. As far as fast food fried chicken goes, the only two I have ever liked on any consistent basis are Brown's and Popeye's. Seeing as Brown's is just a Chicago thing, that really leaves Popeye's. I'll come here about once a year, but that's a great day. The service here has always been really friendly and very quick. The chicken is always juicy and tastes fresh...if what Kev says about the chicken is true (and I have no reason to doubt him), I will agree that this makes it really special in the fast food chicken world. I have only ever had the spicy chicken, because spice is my water (I need it to live), and it's really great. Even a little spicier would be awesome, but I understand that my level of spice is different than most people's level of spice. Really, this is the best nationwide fast food chicken chain in America, hands down. This one is just kind of hidden off 119th behind Noddles & Co and Panera, so take an extra minute, find it, and smile.

Love Popeyes but the last two trips have been really bad. Cold chicken, over cooked. Seemed like it sat around for a couple hours. Step it up, churches might win me over if you keep this up.

My DW loves Popeye's Chicken I am also a fan. We have eaten here, many, many times and had carry out many times more. Every time I have been to this restaurant it is always clean the staff is always prompt and polite. The managers here run tight ship. They usually have specials which are great deals, i.e. 9 pieces for $9.99, etc. This is the number one chicken place for me in our area.

Popeyes employee, "Welcome to Popeyes" Me, "YES GIVE ME A #3 SPICY ALL BREAST MASH W/GRAVY, JALAPEñO PEPPER AND A REGULAR DRINK" I don't think I need to say anymore about this. Everytime and it is awesome! Mucho Luv-o mang! FYI - If you are a member of the Olathe Chamber then show them your card for 10% discount.

Who better than your favorite Bobby Boucher knockoff to write about Popeyes? One of our regulars here in KC Yelp (Colleen) brought to life the fact that Popeyes absolutely rocks. I don't usually write posts about chains unless it's the first in a metro area. I will say though that this place is what single handedly has allowed me to survive in Kansas City. It's safe to say that without Popeyes, I couldn't live here. As opposed to posting on the one in State Line, I'll post on the one that's in a rather hard location to spot, and also happens to be a 2 minute drive from my locale (119th & Blackbob) It's almost comical for me to get all "culinary" on Popeyes, but I will say this. Popeyes was my second job ever (soph year of high school). I got to learn the tricks of the trade and all of the wonderful details into what goes in making the best fried chicken this side of the earth. chicken is chopped, seasoned, floured and of course, fried fresh in-store. As long as it has not been sitting too long, it's always stupid juicy. I personally can't stand the flavor of the mild chicken. the spicy chicken is so good I always wonder why people won't man up (or woman up) and go for the better tasting variety. Spicy only for me please! Let me be also quick to say that myself and two other friends can totally lay to waste a 15pc box with 3 sides and six Biscuits. The devastation of chicken bones left in our wake is something to really fear (or appreciate) There is absolutely no trio you could put together that could handle me and my squad in a PFC fried chicken eating contest! Oh how I wish the Popeyes here were like in Virginia (they actually deliver!)

Great chicken, priced well and the biscuits are also very well done. I like mashed potatoes and their gravy is spicy, awesomeness all around. Sadly, they have substandard soda choices (Pepsi), which is why they don't get 5 stars from me. My favorite chicken pieces places to go (Chick-fil-a gets the chicken sandwich business), just wish they would up their soda game to Coke.

We love Popeyes, this is the worst one we have ever been to. Chicken was dry and cut in a way half of it was missing. Too bad because the location would be great if the chicken was normal Popeyes.

The best Cajun red beans and rice in the Midwest bar none. Chickens the bomb and mashed potatoes are second to none. Add in the dirty rice and bomber cole slaw and you can't beat it! Love dat chicken from Popeyes! PS. Livers and gizzards are to die for as well!!
