I've had several breakfast meetings at this Panera's location in the past few weeks because of its central location for the attendees. I have a few primary complaints: If you want variety and a good breakfast, look elsewhere. I'm combining my observations from four different trips, but I really did try to find something good! The "soufflés" are God-awful. Seriously. Really bad. The breakfast sandwich (I had the egg and cheese with bacon) was average, at best. Bring a magnifying glass if you want to actually see the bacon slices. And the oatmeal was served in a skimpy portion that left me hungry before I even got to the car. That leads me to today's visit. I paid $1.40 for my Asiago Bagel. Fair enough. That price is posted. Cream cheese seemed to be an option, so I chose the Chive and Onion variety. Only when I looked at my receipt did I learn that they charged me an extra $1.39 for the cream cheese. I don't believe that it was posted on the sign that you are paying extra to get cream cheese, which I felt was a deceptive marketing practice. Finally, at this particular location, there's a flimsy toaster out for people to toast their own bagels. The toaster doesn't work well at all; it's a tort lawsuit waiting to happen....

Panera's consistently offers up decent soup, sandwich, and bakery items in a familiar setting. This one is a good one, with plenty of seating and a nice fireplace at the front. Staff is friendly and helpful. They often seem to have the air-conditioning cranked up too high in the summer months, so bring a sweater.

I love Panera bread. This is one of the cleanest location I have found. Location is perfect, right off the HWY and located by my work. Customer service is normally pretty good and I've never had a bad meal from here. All the food amazing and good quality ingredients.

Good service, friendly employees. There's a couple of employees that really 'light' the place up with their great personalities.

This is your typical Panera. It's a cafe with coffee, tea, breakfast foods, soup, salads, and sandwiches. They have a decent selection and most of their food is fresh. it's pretty decent quality, but really it's a chain and doesn't have much personality. i think they are a bit over priced. I'm a fan of their black bean soup, chicken tortilla soup, and garden veg with pesto. However a small bowl with a piece of bread is $4.99, a little steep for just soup. I like this location because it's not nearly as busy as others around Olathe. Plus it has a cozy sitting area with couches around the fire place. Very nice in the cold months.

Panera is delicious, however, at this location, I along many other customers waited 30 to 40 minutes for a the meal today. I come to panera often, and today was not particularly busy for this establishment. They were making an order every like 20 minutes so I gave up after 40 minutes and refunded my order. You could tell many angry guests were lined up looking around angry their order is taking so long. The wait was LONGER than at a nicer restaurant like cheesecake factory or such. Hopefully it's an one time thing. It did leave a bad taste in my mouth and I probably won't come again.

This Panera usually does a very well done job. But today sadly, that was not the case. I came in ready to order, I ordered the mac & cheese :-) with bread and a wild- berry smoothie. So while waiting for my food, I noticed that they were not making my smoothie(!). So I go up and ask if my smoothie is done and the waitress said that she forgot about it(?). Even though I saw her hangout behind the counter after I had ordered(!?). Then it took her 5 minutes to make the smoothie and it had already had separated (!!!!!!!). I love the food but I don't think that I'll be back at this location anytime soon.

I always like Panera. There is always something healthy that I know I'll like on the menu. Love the Strawberry salad and the smokehouse turkey Panini. (the potato soup rocks when I'm not watching my waistline too) It can get a bit loud during the busy hours on occasion, but is always clean and the staff are always friendly.
