I understand that weekends can be busy, especially during the holidays, but it was just so stressful eating! We were seated to a table, and that's where some things started. Our table wasn't that clean, bits and pieces of food on it. We did not have any syrup, when in previous visits we have had up to 5 syrup bottles and I was looking forward to eating my pancakes with their butter pecan syrup, but it was no where to be found. But that's not where it bugged me. We do not eat pork or sausage or anything like that and I was disappointed when they said they could not switch out the sausage links with toast. What? What if I was a vegetarian? Every combo they have had meat with it and we were not able to get a combo. Also, when they delivered our food, we realized that they got our order wrong and had to just deal with what we got. Also, we did not have anything to eat it with. They forgot to give us our silverware. Our server seemed annoyed with us, not very inviting. It was very packed and I understand that it gets harder to serve people, but it was not the best IHOP visit have ever had, and it was my birthday, so I was also still kind of angry at them.

I get the feeling that if this place was not 24 hour - they would not be around. I was staying at a hotel near by and decided to give IHOP a try after avoiding them for 3 years. I ordered a soup and sandwich combo. The soup came out first and was not very hot. It was cream of potato with sour cream and grated cheddar cheese for garnish. After five minutes the cheese has not melted and the soup is so solid I can eat the left half of the bowl and the side barely moves! I was also annoyed that there was no choice of bread - white bread is king. They so have nice big paper napkins though. Wait, maybe that is to facilitate hiding partially chewed food that their customers can not swallow.

Cant help it. Addicted to this place. Service has always been spot on. The biscuits and gravy left a little to be desired for me.. but crispy hashbrowns and bacon.. whats not to love?

We came in late, starving...we got sat immediately and had a great waiter. Wait time was a little slow, but I'm guessing for as late as it was on a Thursday night and the amount of people there (shockingly), pretty normal. Always great food!

Another stand-by for suburban night owls. 24-hour service, with pancakes, breakfast foods, burgers, and other American basics. IHOP definitely fills a need, and this location on 119th near Strang Line (and I-35) beckons the late night crowd. . . This location is near me, but they have places around the metro, so just check their website for the ones nearest you!

I love eating breakfast at IHop...service is always fast and friendly, the price is right, and the pancakes are heavenly!

We hit this IHOP at its most challenging time -- Sunday morning with the post-church crowd -- and they definitely weren't up to it. Slow service, far too noisy, and mediocre food. Nothing awful, but nothing outstanding either. We went only because we had a coupon, but couldn't use it because it said (in the world's smallest font) that it was valid Monday-Friday only. Oh well. Next time we just might stay in bed.

Look, you know what you're going to get at IHOP. It'll be fine, but nothing great. So with that mindset, we went in with a coupon and were quite pleased. Service was great (as I have usually found it to be at any IHOP) - quick drink refills, and smiles all around. I couldn't decided between breakfast or dinner, since it was dinner time, but eventually chose a mix - chicken and waffles. The wife had pancakes w/bacon, eggs and hash browns. My chicken and waffles (really chicken strips and waffles) was good - the waffle was tasty, and the chicken strips were...chicken strips. Hard to screw those up. My wife's pancakes were, again, tasty, as was everything else on her plate. Nothing spectacular (it still is IHOP after all), but everything was good and service was friendly, all for a fair price. The restaurant was clean. Really, an enjoyable experience.

99% of the time when an "owner" is present at any business...the experience is great. Last night was the 1%. We had a group of friends stop by for a late night meal (around 1:30am and we were all sober which should add to a positive environment for any restaurant). After the "owner" saw our orders he came over to the table & told us that too many ppl were getting drinks and not enough w full orders. He stated we were wasting space in his restaurant. There was no one waiting to be seated. We asked for the managers name & he claimed he was the owner and made us leave.

Shitty service. If I ever catch the owner it's going be a big problem. This location is crap! Avoid at all cost. Denny's is a better choice for a late night breakfast

24-hour breakfast? Yes, please! But not just breakfast, though. The whole menu is available any hour of the day! Dieters, beware. If you go during the wee hours of the night/morning, expect it to be a "People of Walmart" sort of experience. Gorge on comfort foods and enjoy! The same server works the weird hours that I tend to frequent this joint. She's super nice and aims to please. I should probably learn her name.

Food was alright the other day when we went here. I must admit I go a lot. This time the food was not up to their usual par. It was fine and I will be back maybe the regular chef was out sick or day off. He is allowed. Lol We will be back because it is our go to place.

We dropped the Jeep off at the nearby dealer for service and decided to have some breakfast. IHOP was close so we gave it a shot. My wife ordered some biscuits and gravy but was informed they were out of biscuits. I ordered a mushroom and spinach omelet but was informed a little later that they were out of mushrooms so I had to change my order too. When our second choices were delivered, mine was an omelet with just spinach--not the ham and cheese that I had switched to. We had to ask for silverware and had to request cream for coffee twice. I often like to experience a restaurant a couple of times before writing a review, but this IHOP isn't worth the time, trouble or money. We won't be coming back.

This has to do with false advertising on their menus. My husband and I were just at the I Hop on 119th and Metcalf yesterday morning and were looking at their menu. My husband noticed that they had a "Special discount menu"for seniors over 55yrs.old.He then checked out the regular menu items and noticed the same items were the same price.Surprise no Senior Citizen Discount. He brought that to the waitresses attention and she agreed there was no discount.I Hop should be fined for lying to the public and made to change their menu either taking away anything that says discount and/or made to give an actual discount to their senior patrons.

I was in the mood for breakfast yesterday afternoon so grabbed a plate at iHop. I have never tried a dinner option at iHop. About the only time I go there is if someone else wants to or if I am craving some pancakes. When I go, I generally order the sampler breakfast or whatever it is called. I get my pancakes and to cut through the sweetness, a nice savory breakfast plate. I have never had an issue with incorrect orders here. They make the hasbrowns right, my eggs are always perfect over easy, the meats are ok, and the pancakes fluffy and satisfy my craving. You will need to add salt and pepper to your meal because I think they keep it intentionally bland for the older crowd that frequents the restaurant. They are always open, terribly packed on weekend mornings, but easy to get into any other time. The service is just ok and can vary from perfectly friendly to zombie mode. Overall, decent inexpensive consistent breakfast.

For starters the place is very clean. The food at this one is excellent. My favorite thing to get is the Red Velvet pancakes. I don't know how they do it, but the pancakes are really good.

brunch/early lunch during the week is the best time to come because there is NO wait whatsoever. seated immediately with my little guy and mom. ordered what seemed like an insane amount of food (eggbeaters, 2 slices turkey bacon, 2 sausage links, 2 slices of ham, 2 pancakes and hash browns) for $7.99 because I knew we'd be sharing (he's a very good eater). my mom ordered an omelet and fruit. between the three of us we still had food left over. mainly the pancakes. I really wish I remembered to ask for no butter. the baby ate around the butter, but fully enjoyed the eggs, sausage, ham, hash browns and fruit. the food is good. exactly what you'd expect from an IHOP.

I would give this location 5 stars but I had a strange experience there at 4 am once. . . . . Anyway, my food here has always, always, ALWAYS been consistently prepared as I have requested it. Not to mention that their coffee (although it's about a 3 out of 10 on the caffene-o-meter) is highly delicious and addictive. Stay away on Sunday mornings though. It's impossible to get a seat.

Ok first of all Sunday morning at IHOP what was I thinking.Really the place was packed not an empty seat in the house. The staff was on their game the hostess got us to a two top right away the waitress was right behind her. Had drinks in no time and food order was out .The food was on the table in a short time hot and fresh. Yes the pancakes were good its hard to screw them up. Chicken fried steak and eggs seemed blah to me lack flavor, but the hash browns were nice and crisp and not too greasy. Over all pretty impressive for a Sunday morning

sad to say I had to bring this iHOP down a star. They quit serving the flavored creamers. I assume they are trying to promote their flavored coffees but they taste pretty bad. I tried every single one of them too. We recently had to walk out because the waiter failed to come and take our order after he repeatedly looked our way. The cleanliness has suffered a bit too. I miss the old staff that was there. Those guys were great.

Only thing good about it is its open 24 hours and isn't a waffle house. Go to the first watch by the side of target for much better food if its morning or lunch time.

I love IHOP!!! Seriously the pancakes are amazing! Way better than perkins watered down pancakes and their eggs are great!!! We went there for breakfast today and i got the bacon temptation with eggs substitute with turkey bacon. I did not like it at all. i don't know if it was the eggs, bacon or what but i didn't like it! the reason that they got 4 stars was because my waitress and the manager came to the table to make sure i didn't want anything else and to apologize for my meal. They even took my whole meal off the check even though i downed the pancakes that came with it. It was amazing customering service! i love that in a restaurant! so five stars for me becuase this is the first time in 5 years that i've had a meal i didn't like!
