This place was our go to for malts in the 60's. We would drive 20 miles from Colby for our malt fix. Long ago I was off to the big cities. Traveling across country - we made a stop at "The King" - STILL the best malts (assorted flavors plus shakes) Variety of sizes - about half price of "city prices". $2.50 for a 16oz. You can't beat the friendly service - in this case local teenagers working their summer jobs. Tip generously. Worth the exit at Oakley for a re-visit to small town Americana circa 50's - 60's. Closed Sundays / Mondays based on sign in window.
