This Wendy's is a prime example of why I should just give up fast food altogether. It was late, I just wanted a sandwich and was craving a shake, which is a very rare occurrence. I also didn't want to drive far, so I went to Wendy's. I should have read the YELP reviews first. I ordered a chicken sandwich, small fries, and a small frosty. Even though I only live 1 mile away, my fries were cold when I got home. Chief gulped them right up, so it wasn't a complete loss. The chicken sandwich had the saddest looking trace of a tomato on it, and was covered in honey mustard. I wiped it off prior to eating it. I probably won't go back.

I go to Wendy's for 2 things: breakfast potatoes and chili. Sadly, going for those things often makes me want to hit myself in the head. The drive thru attendant this morning was a little odd. She's an older gal that gives you the sense that she's about a half an order of fries from losing her mind. I pull up to the speaker and she whines in an out-of-breath sorta way "it'll be a minute". (There is one car at the window, one waiting to be at the window and me.) About a minute passes and Gloomy Gerta comes back at me "it'll be a minute". Ok, well, I really want some potatoes for breakfast so I'll wait. Finally, I get to order... she sounds kind of like I'm getting on her nerves or she's crying or both. I order a combo with potatoes and an orange juice. She says "you want potatoes with your combo?" I confirm. She says "Do you want anything else?" I said "Actually, yes, add on an oatmeal bar". She said "do you want that instead of the potatoes?" I say "Why would I say Add on an oatmeal bar if I wanted it instead of the potatoes." I get a little defensive about my breakfast potatoes. I get to the window and here comes Whiney Wanda. "I need you to pull up for your potatoes." Okay, so I'm not a dream customer at this point. I've already been waiting for close to 5 minutes to even get to the window. I refuse to pull up. This typically bothers fast food restaurants and I'm sure they've enjoyed spitting in my food over it, but I WILL NOT PULL UP. They have a timer to measure how they are doing. Pulling up defeats the purpose of that timer. Now, if I had ordered a lot of stuff, that would be different. Or, if I'd special ordered something, that too would be different. I ordered like one of the most common things on their menu... I'M NOT PULLING UP. So, I sat there with my room temperature orange juice (they pre-pour them and leave them on the counter -- yik) and waited for her to bring me my semi-raw potatoes. I guess they pulled them from the cooker too soon to get me on my way. Dear Wendy's, I sorta hate you a little more each day. Love, Claudia

Wow. Driving thru, ordering a modest amount of food, had to pull ahead and wait for AT LEAST 10 minutes. Forgot the fries in our order. We've had slow experiences here before, but this takes the cake. Don't know what was happening, but we'll be avoiding this location in the future.

This Wendy's is ok compared to other fast food restraints in the area but it certainly doesn't deserve any awards. I've eaten here a few times and the service and food always seems to be just so so. They certainly never seem to try to go beyond the lowest expectations. Overall Pass

I go to this Wendy's drive-thru every week. I have never gotten any bad food or service. Sometimes the food seems a tad less fresh than could be, but if I went to another Wendy's, by the time I got home, then it would be less fresh overall. The breakfast is pretty good, good breakfast, they carry Coke products (score), and baked potatoes and sea salt fries!!!

I'm usually a big Wendy's fan. As far as fast food goes, their burgers don't seem like they are completely made of roadkill, and they actually have stuff that is not toxic. Their chili and salads could even daresay be healthy. However, this particular Wendy's is bad news. Even though its only up the road from Mission Hills, I still keep waiting for the place to be held up while I am in there. The service takes forever, and the food has always been in the warmer for a few too many cycles. The only hope is that after the city of Mission gets done with their five year project to move the pile of dirt left over from Mission Mall back and forth several times, that the area gets nicer and maybe the place will get renovated. So If you don't have long for lunch or just in the mood for fast food, you should skip this one.
