I used to visit this place every couple of weeks when I was eating out for lunch. Less so now, but still, it is better than most fast food out there. I used to frequent the Runza in Lawrence, and I was excited when I found this one here in Mission. My regular meal is the chicken strip meal with fries. Just as delicious as I remember. It is consistently good every time I visit. From what I've seen, Runza's are typically family run joints. They always have the most polite customer service, even better than places like Chick-Fil-A. I have never once gotten my order wrong at any Runza I've ever been, this place included. Top notch customer service, good prices, consistent delicious food. The only reason I can't give a full 5 stars is because I've really only eaten one meal from Runza. I haven't gotten the burgers or any of the other things on their menu, so I can't speak to it. They are unique in that they serve bierocks, which is typical German faire, meat and veg (often onion and cabbage) wrapped in dough. If that's your thing, give them a try. One of my favorite lunch stops!

This was a one and done experience for me. The food here is horrible. Fast food is generally gross anyway, but this place takes the cake. I will say that the restaurant is clean, but that could be due to a lack of guest traffic. I live nearby and never see more than a handful of cars in the parking lot.

This food is disgusting. The food is saltier than licking a block of Himalayan sea salt. That I survived my meal is only due to the miracle of drinking 10 gallons of water immediately after. I wouldn't feed a runza to any living organism on this planet. The meat in a runza would have more taste if it were not for a package of Morton being poured into a single serving. I'm surprised I didn't get the "runs" after eating a runza. If you haven't tried it, don't waste your time. And please, PLEASE don't believe anyone who tells you it's like po-boy bread. Some people smoke so much grass their taste buds must be fried....

I normally don't like "fast food", but this place is an exception. I grew up in Nebraska and ate runza as a kid. I'm glad there is now a location within reasonable driving distance. A piping - hot runza make a great lunch.

I 1st saw Runza Restaurants years ago when I would travel to Omaha to visit friends.. Because they bragged on it, I always meant to stop & give it a go every time I would come back home But never did. I just recently moved back to Mission & low & behold.Just happens to be a Runza in the area. Boy..Was I disappointed !! I had the Cheese Runza sandwich & was nothing but bland.. The fries wihere the classic crimp style,,,same there, just bland. I would hope the Burgers are better because that would be the only thing left that I would go back for....

I was born and Rasied in Nebraska and these loose meat cheese and cabbage sandwiches are amazing! If you have a chance you must get here and try them! Made fresh daily!

Do you know what frings are? That's ok, they don't either. OK, I've kept you in enough suspense, it's french fries and onion rings...IN THE SAME PACKAGE! Thank goodness they have fring dip. It's OK, I'll be the ambassador here. You see, in Nebraska, when you're born they hand you your Husker loyalty and a Runza so, I'm kinda set for life. In college during our radio show we used to ask people to bring us things and whoever brought us the best thing won. Various things were given as prizes...a date, a cd, posters, cigarettes, etc. As I recall, a young gentleman once brought us cheese Runzas and frings and I believe he won all those things listed above. Ah, good times. For nostalgia sake, I got a cheese runza and onions rings...mmmmmmm, so perfect. My husband wanted the swiss mushroom burger and fries. We were quiet until the meal was finished! For fast food it is a bit on the pricey side with a Runza itself being over $4. However, they use QUALITY ingredients and their fries are to die for. This location does not have "large" sizes for their sides and the drive through took about 10 minutes. I did receive a bunch of coupons from them and they were all very nice. I think it's staffed by Nebraskan's cause it felt like home :)

I work across the street and have been watching them build this Runza. As all new restaurants I waited a few days to go because they are really busy and have had Runza once in Nebraska. I ordered the cheeseburger combo and the best part of the meal were the fries. OMG they are amazing. The cheeseburger was ok. I think if they toasted the bun it would make it really good because the bun is too soft and turns soggy with the juice from the hamburger. Overall I will try other things but will stop in for the fries for a snack.

Well, my first visit was good but not great. First of all, the line was ridiculous. Luckily, the wait once I finally got to order wasn't too long. I ordered a runza with mushrooms and swiss. Not a good idea. It was okay, but tasted like sausage and gravy actually. So not my cup of tea. A runza is also known as a bierock. One of the very few things with meat that can get me to actually crave it and eat it. For the past few years I have been a devout vegetarian, however, as of late I am afraid to have fallen off the wagon. Now that the weight is stacking on I will be quick to go back to being a healthy vegetarian, the meat is so not worth the extra padding. Anyway, a bierock is ground beef with cabbage and spices in an amazing bread roll. Thankfully, they handed out "original" samples so I did get a glimpse of what one could taste like. If I were to go again, I would definitely just stick with that. All they do for the ones with "flavors" is cut open an original, stuff in the toppings, then re-toast it. All that equates to is a very crispy and crunchy bread base instead of the insane dough it should be. Had it not been for the sample...I cannot say I would have bothered to recommend it to anyone, even at 3 stars. Had I just gotten the original, I suspect my bread wouldn't have been re-toasted and therefore hard, and it would have had a more pleasing flavor instead of a creamy gravy, and I most likely would have given it 4 stars at that point. However, that is all simply speculation.

I'm from Omaha originally and have driven to the Lawrence location to get a fix if it has been a while since returning to Nebraska. That bit of background aside, it's wonderful to have a Runza in the KC Metro area. I like the Runza with cheese and the fries are great. Probably not the healthiest meal - so I'm glad it's far enough away still that it'll be a once / month or so for me "treat".

The Runza was very tasty and reminded me of my mom's Bierocks she use to make. The cheeseburger was pretty basic and nothing too spectacuar. We also tried the fries and onion rings and both were good and nothing to rave about either. The servers were nice and all drinks are only $1!! I would go back but probably only to order a cheese Runza! YUM!

Good food. The runza's are unique and a nice change of pace. Glad they came to mission. The food is consistent but fast food for sure. Burgers, fries, onion rings and runza's. Better than your normal fast food quality wise and they are always nice.

The bf is from Nebraska, so he couldn't wait to take me for a Runza. First, the older gentleman taking orders/cashiering was absolutely precious. What a sweetheart! Even though they were busy, he noticed our despair at the empty ketchup pump, and immediately had it refilled. The food was awesome. I ordered the runza: the bread was crusty outside and soft inside and the meat mixture was deliciously spiced. I read some of the other reviews about the meat being greasy, but did not have that experience or perception. Perhaps they have worked out the kinks?! Fries were outstanding as were the O rings. My only complaint was there was "No coke, only Pepsi." Oh well, can't have everything. I will definitely be going back and often. The burgers the other diners were eating looked delicious, but the Runza is unique and super delicious, similar to a pierogi or bierock.

Great upgrade from fast food! My husband and I stopped by for dinner after work tonight. I had a Runza and fries, and my husband had a burger and fries. The Runza was great and was a nice change from your typical fast food dinner. It had a seasoned meat filling baked in bread--kind of like a calzone. I dipped it in ketchup and it was delicious. My husband is less adventurous and went with a regular burger instead of a Runza. He was impressed as well. It looked nothing like a stereotypical "fast food" burger. It was larger and didn't have the pre-formed patty look to it. My husband said it tasted a lot better too. The fries were also a rare find. No skinny potato sticks here! The fries were THICK and cooked to perfection--hot and soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Amazing.

Is this heaven? No, it's Runza! Run(za)...don't walk to try the tastiest meat, cheese, and cabbage filled sandwich you've ever had. It's like a Hot Pocket from an angel. And the crinkle cut fries are a great plus!

Calling all Huskers in KC Metro Runza is no longer just in Lawrence! can i get a Homer woohoo! woohoo! i am from Nebraska and have eaten at Runzas in Omaha Lincoln and Grand Island and other towns nobody will know where they are since i was knee high, Runza was a treat, somewhere we loved to go and didnt break the bank but fed us well. of course being a finicky kid i didnt catch on to Runzas until i was a bit taller than a grasshopper but once the Runza gets you there is no turning back you crave the best fresh baked portable sandwich with cabbage in it- that lovely fresh bread tasty fresh ground beef filling has you and Runza wont let you go. before Runzas got me i had thier hamburgers but now i prefer the cheese runza and am quite offended really about the "flavors" when i was younger we had two kinds cheese or no cheese and thats the way it was! LOL! the fries and the brownies were always my favorites as well and of course the fact that Runza had Pepsi was a bit hit for my only Pepsi drinking family- in fact Pepsi and Runza were so ingrained that even though i'd kicked pepsi since last fall midway through my first Runza i had to have a Pepsi with the runza. its been several years since i've been "down" to Nebraska visting the fam- i know its north but the term is come down to visit and you can take the girl out of Nebraska but you cant take the Nebraska out of the girl, for my Runza fix i used to stop at the one off Hwy 2 in Lincoln as soon as i drove into town i didnt much care if i had to wait in lines or not. i wanted the runzas. if you wait at Runza they kind people will reward patience with Runzas thank you thank you! i didnt realize there was a Runza open in Mission KS but thankfully when this last Runza craving hit a Google search showed me the way and i am very happy to welcome them- the runzas- back. they were perfect ! exactly the same as i remembered, i bought extra and i reheated the others for two more lunch days after - they reheat well wrapped in foil 325 for 45 min, or others say to nuke them. frankly the oven worked just fine. least the fix was simple, no trying to make them and i dont have to worry about it since Runza is now off Johnson Dr 8 miles from me. Bless you Runza for opening a location in Johnson County. this Husker girl is thrilled!

I was a Runza virgin until today. A show on the FN showed stuffed sandwiches that made me think of this place. No line at the drive-thru & quick service. I got a regular Runza & a swiss and mushroom one, and onion rings. Ate half of each sandwich and enjoyed both - the s&m one was heftier & surprisingly the same price. Not crunchy, dried out bread another person mentioned - bread was warm & soft. Got the OR's because they were praised on their website, but I didn't think they were anything special (coating like frozen though not) - prefer Sonic's. And the onion dip they offered was so salty I couldn't eat it. For $3.99 the sandwiches were a good value and I'll go back for more.

As a child of central Kansas, I grew up on bierocks, so I had high hopes for this restaurant (a runza is essentially the same thing as a bierock). Alas, what they serve here doesn't quite live up to my favorite childhood food. The bread dough is way more moist than a bierock and not nearly as thick, and the use of cabbage is subdued versus a homemade bierock. Plus, I prefer the round shape of a bierock, although the rectangular runza does probably work better as a sandwich for in the car. While it doesn't match the absolute perfection of a homemade bierock, for fast food the runza is still pretty good. You can customize the runza, too, adding burger-like toppings such as cheese, jalepenos or bacon. Runza advertises on the wall that they won an award at the state fair for their onion rings. While I wouldn't call them award-worthy, the O-rings are certainly better than the ones you'd find at McDonald's, Burger King, or even Sonic. The O-rings are not greasy and do not crumble easily (like Sonic's), but they are very salty. Unless you are one of those salt vampires from Star Trek, you'll probably tire of them quickly. The fries from Runza are fairly standard crinkle cut fries. Nothing spectacular, but tasty. I have not tried a burger from Runza. I don't see the point. It's kind of like the Chinese buffet that offers some Mexican and American food. You don't go to the Chinese restaurant to eat a burrito, and you don't go to Runza to eat a hamburger. This location is super clean, the staff is always friendly, and the food always tastes fresh. Can't complain about any of that. This store is obviously well-managed. Anyway, if you go to Runza, don't expect a homemade bierock. It's not the same. But a Runza is a pretty good substitute on the quick.

  • Thomas M.

Not a bad lunch, not really my cup of tea. I think the bread was good and the filling was so-so. I did notice that the store was very clean and the service (counter service) was good. I will probably try a burger with Frings next time I visit Runza.

One of the best for burgers, fries, onion rings and Runways. Service always good. Love that place.

  • Dave S.

Love runzas? Bierocks? Pasties? Pirogi? Stay away. You'll want to strangle somebody. This place has reduced the runza to a large hot dog bun scooped out, filled with ground beef and onion (cabbage? find it) and some black pepper. They then steam it to heat it, and don't even have the decency to try and make the halves of the bun stick together. I go here once every six months or so to see if they've learned how to make runzas. They haven't. I have no idea how they stay in business; may have something to do with their any-size-a-dollar drinks, like McDonald's next door. This is NOT a problem with the Runza chain-I visit Denison, Iowa, where I first had one of these, occasionally, and they're fine. This is a problem with this store. Ugh.

The best fast food experience you'll get. To this day, I'm not sure if I've ever gotten a cold meal at a Runza like you sometimes get through the drivethru. Its always hot and it melts in your mouth. I see a lot of people saying that they couldn't get through a whole Runza, saying its disgusting or too spicy. All I have to say is go back to eating your salad because you are not worthy of such a bounty that has been given to the people that is Runza. A Runza is an indescribable collection of everything right in the world. Every spice massages the taste buds. The warmness of each bite hugs you like a overweight grandma. Then to top it off, some bomb fries and onion rings. Awww yeah. So if you aren't some sort of loser, go to Runza.

Once upon a time when I was 14, I found myself "so blessed" as to be uprooted from my Los Angeles life of beaches and boogie boarding to move to Omaha, Nebraska in the dead of winter (chalk that up to being a Government Brat). Needless to say, I was not amused. One bright light in that upheaval was a haven of meat and cabbage stuffed breadom called Runza. I instantly fell in love with them and a year and a 1/2 later when we let Omaha, I was sad leaving them (and a nice chunk of fabulous friends), behind. Well I am sad no more. Runza is now in Mission near my home *Insert Stimpson J. Cat squealing "JOY!" here* Many of you may be saying, "What the hell is a Runza anyway?" As stated, the original runza is a long soft bun stuffed with seasoned ground beef and cabbage (imagine a Hot Pocket only softer, bigger, and tastier). When I went to Runza in Mission though, I see they have branched out. Philly Cheesesteak Runzas, Chicken Runzas, and a Mushroom and Swiss Runza which was very tasty. Now not everyone will love Runza, but with all the new choices of tastes you can get in a Runza, you should be able to find one you like. I truly urge you to give them a shot. This Omaha treat is a comfort on a cold winter day. Really on ANY day.

I came here with my husband on a coworkers suggestion. We both ordered the Runza. I am not a picky eater and have never even set a meal back as a restaurant. This Runza however, could not be eaten. With one bite I felt nauseated by the combination of the sweet bread and the overdose of pepper coating the cabbage inside. Where is the meat in this item?! Although we paid $4.99, this sandwich had only a few tiny grey bits of meat slathered in the pepper and cabbage goo. I tried taking a few bites more of this sandwich before fearing it might give me the runz. It was too disgusting to eat. We threw away our sandwiches but the Runza wasn't done with us. Our mouths burned long after of pepper and acidity. I have never purchased something so horrible in my life.

As far as fast food goes, there is a nostalgia that goes along with Runza for me. My mom and I always looked forward to it on our way home to Grand Island Nebraska. Is it the best food ever? Hell no! I used to hate it as a kid. But kept trying it over and over and developed an appreciation for the mixture of cabbage and beef stuffed inside a roll. They have gotten quite small in comparison to what they used to be, but the taste was never compromised. Never tried a hamburger there, let alone anything else. Just the original Runza. And tonight Im picking it up on my way to go see Bridesmaids!

I have been told you have to grow up on Runza to get it. Makes sense because I just don't get it. When they first opened I was excited for something different and went by. They have big signs in their windows saying you can customize your Runza. I pull up and order one without onions and I am told they are baked into the Runza and can't be removed. I mention the sign and the guy had no answer, but did decide to be a smart ass and point out that I ordered frings which have onions at the window. I think the look I gave him scared him a little as he also gave me a second Runza of a different flavor for free. I ate about 3 bites of the first one and half of the second and did not care for it at all. For the next three days I felt like those Runzas were turning into an alien in my stomach and working its way out, just miserable. The inside of the bread wasn't fully cooked and doughy. The stuffings were boring and bland. Just nothing good about them. I decided to give them another try. I ordered a burger and the frings and added a pepperjack Runza. The burgers are not bad. Mine did taste like it was premade and they just opened it and removed the onions. I don't mind onion flavor, just don't like raw onion, but this isn't the way to prepare someone's food. The burgers are juicy, but could use some seasoning. Overall not a bad burger. The pepperjack Runza was pretty much a sandwich. The Runza bread was cut and the ingredients put inside. Not prebaked into the bread. Now I am just all confused. This time the bread was cooked through (probably because it wasn't cooked with the stuffing inside), but still not that appetizing and I only made it through a few bites. I really like their fries. Crinkle cut and thicker than typical fast food fries. Nice crispy outside and meaty inside. What a fry should be. The onion rings are not bad, but the breading has no seasoning and mine were not salted. They are onion rings are a little heavily breaded masking the onion taste. A good stop for a burger and fries, but that is about it.

I don't eat much fast food these days but when I'm in Mission Kansas and am craving some I'll make sure I come back here! They've got sandwiches that are like bierrocks -- something I've never seen anywhere else. Not quite like a homemade bierrock but pretty good for fast food! I also appreciate that you can order a fry/onion ring combo. I'm used to fast food onion rings tasting freezer burnt but the ones I had yesterday were really good. How much better can you honestly do for $7 these days??

  • Laura C.

I love this place, tastes just like a bierock! The food is something different than the regular fast food. On the bonus side they have Pepsi there. The original is the best, and they have awesome onion rings. The staff is always nice!

A Runza is Nebraska's version of a bierock and I'm so glad they have a location in the Kansas City area now. If you're German, hooray, if you're not then you'll love the surprise. Besides the Runzas, the restaurant also serves burgers with fries or onion rings as sides. Prices are good too. I had a Swiss Mushroom Runza value meal with fries and a soda today for under $5. As far as fast food goes, this is one of the better ones. The order area and dining room are kept sparking clean. The parking lot has a good amount of spaces squeezed into a small area, but the seating and drive through can become backed up at peak times. I'll be back often and I recommend it for those who want to eat quick and try something a little different.

Though I now live in the Kansas suburbs of KCMO, I spent my first 42 years as a Louisiana chow hound. That speaks volumes about my ability to sniff out and identify outstanding food. For quite some time now, I have been meaning to stop by the Runza location in Mission, Kansas. One of the reasons for my interest is the fact that their sign brags about burgers and Runza sandwiches. My life experience tells me that when somebody is proud enough of a sandwich to hang their name on it, chances are it is very likely to be way worthy. Well, today was the day I tried them on for size. I had the original Runza with cheese, a cup of chili, and a cinnamon roll. I loved the bread in which the goods were wrapped. It was on a par with poboy bread from New Orleans ... that's a huge compliment. The meat and other fillings were hugely tasty. The chili might just be the best I've ever had at a restaurant. The cinnamon roll was, to use a well worn phrase and mean it, to die for. Since you can count the Runza restaurants outside of Nebraska on less than two hands, I feel blessed that there is one less than two miles from my house. I will ever after be a regular visitor. Now I need to investigate the one in Lawrence, Kansas. It just might be the reason for the excellence of Jayhawk basketball. Don't tell the folks in Lincoln that I said that.

This place is just 'okay'. Personally I felt like the onion rings were too salty and the spicy jack Runza sandwich was a bit soggy. The crinkle fries were tasty though. I might try one more time for the burgers but I'm in no hurry.

I've heard about Runza for years. After a day at Worlds of Fun, before heading home, my husband and I decided to stop in for dinner. We wanted to go somewhere "not in Topeka". Someone suggested Runza - neither of us had ever been, so it sounded perfect. I loved the hometown feel of the dining area and the girl taking our order was great. Sweet, patient and knowledgeable. The food however, is something I think I can live without - I'm guessing it's an acquired taste. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE cabbage. Cooked or otherwise, but this sandwich had a very strange taste... dunno. There wasn't anything specifically wrong with the fries or onion rings either - I've just had better. They were heavy or something. I'm glad I tried it but don't ever need to do so again. :) Just isn't my thing.

I love Runza. The ice cream swirl, onion rings, fries, chicken salad, runza, hambuger but I'm from Nebraska so I grew up as this being my fast food chain. Never McDonalds, Burger King or gross wannabe. Runza is where it's at!!!

  • Rachel P.

Loved my first trip to Runza! I got the original with cheese, DH got the Philly CheeseSteak - both were delicious. (His was a little more flavorful, so I'll probably opt for something with a little more pizzazz next time.) The frings with the homemade french onion dip was such an aweseome addition. The service was good, too. Even at the drive through, the girl was friendly and helpful, since it was our first visit.

Are you kidding me? How is this place still in business? Given their location, and the lame food, I'm shocked! It just goes to show you that mission is hard up for decent food.

Runza - yum yum yum! From the runza with pepper jack to the 'frings' (fries and onion rings) to the customer service and various coupons available, Runza excels. *Service is great, there is an older gentleman always working around lunch that is friendly and quick. *Frings are to die for - especially when paired with the onion ring dip. *The pepper jack runza is great when they have it - every other runza is tasty as well. *You can get a kids meal if you aren't super hungry - it is just the right portion for lunch. *They have diet mountain dew at the fountain! *Restaurant is always busy, never a line at the register or longer than 5 minute wait for food that is fresh. *You can usually find a coupon in the mail, online, or sign up for their email - I got a free runza for my birthday. *For a fast food restaurant they have exceptionally clean bathrooms and a pretty neat interior decor, it is clean and bright. *Music is actually pretty good that they play, I have shazammed a few songs before. The taste of a runza may not be for everyone, but it is worth a try - both inside and the drive thru have delivered each time. I was a skeptic at first (meat pocket sandwich with cabbage doesn't exactly inspire the taste buds, but you will be pleasantly surprised!)

***thanks for coming from Nebraska, Runza!!!*** Freshly made hot pockets, except, made from scratch and a hundreds time better in taste than cardboard-like hot pockets? Yup, you've got a Runza. I worked up in Omaha for a year and so I got exposed to these wonderful inventions. We've had one in Lawrence for several years, but rather than make a pilgrimage to Lawrence, I've just had to go without...until they came here. Onion ring dip is really amazing and I don't know of another fast food place that has anything like it. Don't start eating the burgers until you've tried every runza on the menu (my favorite is the Philly Cheese). But you'll find they are delicious and of better quality than most fast-food burgers.

Not impressed. I stopped here for a late lunch when I was on the Kansas side of the border before a meeting. I had heard great things about Runza sandwiches and wanted to try one. I still want to try a Runza sandwich that is actually as good as my Runza loving friends say they are. My sandwich wasn't very good. I have had better hot pockets.

Hey, this place is pretty awesome. Stopped in the other day with my boyfriend. I had the runza, he had a cheeseburger. Hands down the best fast food burger out there. Fresh, tasty beef patties with crisp lettuce, yummy tomatoes and pickles to top. I had the runza and it was delicious! We shared frings, and while the fries were seriously awesome, the rings were not worthwhile at all. Next time, we will be splitting an order of fries, hold the rings. Yay Runza! Welcome to KC!

My boyfriend's family is from Nebraska, so by default I have to get down on all of the traditions. He was rather enthused when he discovered that Runza was opening somewhere closer than Lawrence and Omaha. He ordered a Runza with fries. I ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger with Onion rings. It was as delicious. I love their fries. The manager even came around to do table touches. For those of you complaining about the long line at the drive thru, it's not because of it being new. There are tons of people in the KC metro area from Nebraska. This is a taste of home to them. Dont expect those long lines to go away any time soon. Every other car in the parking lot had a Huskers sticker on it. Pretty awesome. It was honestly nice to see this place packed, meanwhile the McD's next door was dead.

C+ The old lady is on the road for business. I hate it when she's out of town because I eat like complete shit and drink too much.. That being said, I had to try the new Runza that just opened in the hood (not my actual hood, I'm a Roeland Park citizen). I hit up the drive-thru, which took fing forever. Ordered the cheesburger meal (it only comes in one size, with an option to upsize the drink). Got home and plated the meal and much to my surprise the good folks over at Runza comped me a free runza sandwhich. Points for that.. The cheeseburger was decent, probably the best option in this area for a fast-food burger. The Runza sandwhich (for description, see Dev's review below) was okay at first but I didn't finish it. The fries however were delicious. Crinkle-cut and fried to perfection. Crinkle-cut has got to be in the top three of the french-fry variety. That reminds me, I need to do a list/converstaion on the best french-fries in town! I'll definitely make a return trip. Probably the next time the girlfriend goes out of town. Ugh..

For $5 you'd think a fast food burger would be pretty good. This one was "meh". I got the spicy burger, it had pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, and bacon. The price was awful, nearly $5 for just the burger. The burger was smashed and the bottom was super soggy. Also, it wasn't very big. I appreciate them offering jalapenos, not many places do that, but for the money this isn't worth it.

Yuck! Runza-yuck. Burger-yuck. Onion rings-yuck. Seriously yuck. Wish I could throw it all up. Don't believe the hype.

Stopped by here yesterday since it's close to my work and just opened. I figured they'd be working some kinks out and I opted for the long drive thru line. The menu is limited to "Runzas", burgers, sides, and salads. I ordered a Runza that is filled with spices, hamburger, cheese, and onions filled in bread that is baked each day. I had a few bites and by the time I got halfway through it, I wanted to toss it. The bread was not bad, not great. The meat mess in the middle was caked full of grease, so much that it was dripping out and making the "Runza" hard to handle. The taste was interesting the first few bites, but definitely lost my interest as I continued to consume it. I might go try a burger, but that will be the last "Runza" I try.
