They make the most flavorful sandwiches in the world. I think it's their freshly baked bread and the fresh ingredients that goes in it. I mostly order online and customize my salads and sandwiches. Recently I had the Mediterranean sandwich and pasta, both were beautifully prepared.

I love Panera, i usually keep my orders simple, some potato soup is as fancy as i get, usually just get bagels and some different flavor cream cheese to go with them for breakfasts that being said, out of all the times i've gone....i've only been disappointed once. even that visit wasn't bad, the soup just wasn't right that day, potatoe chunks not cooked long enough pretty simple stuff...not awful just not great. Love the bagels My main negative and the only thing that bothers me about panera is the location i love that it's close to my house...i just hate driving in that area right there by the target and post office etc..... just a mess with bad johnson county drivers thinking their shopping trip is the most important thing in the world and stop signs don't apply to them. sure the drivers aren't Panera's fault, but you have to deal with them if you come during morning drive time or after work so it's a drawback

Panera is a great relaxed breakfast/lunch time spot. Good quality eats, and a nice quiet dining area. I think it's overpriced and under portioned, but am willing to pay $10 dollars for half a sandwich, a half salad, and a small Diet Pepsi when the craving hits.

I have had some pretty normal good experiences at this Panera location but last night was easily the worst luck as far as service goes. We ordered food to go: one pick two and one sandwich. We changed our minds once the food was ready and decided to dine in. It is a good thing that we did because half the food was wrong and missing. The sides we picked were out, no big deal... We got apples instead. We could hear the employees down the food line yelling at one another after we walked off that they were out of items. We sat down and pulled out the food... The sandwich was missing completely. So we went to the counter only to be quizzed extensively about the sandwich. I would understand it if the sandwich was not sitting right there on the other side of the counter (meaning she knew that it was left out of the bag because it was a lone to-go sandwich that didn't belong to any upcoming order). Upon siting back down we realized that the French onion soup came with no toppings (should have had cheese and croutons). I went up to ask about the toppings and the man was confused and spoke to his coworker in Spanish and she said some things back in a a disgruntled tone and grabbed stuff and threw it on the counter aggressively and walked away seeming kinda angry or annoyed. The other part of my meal was a half salad. The salad actually seemed to get smaller and especially the amount of dressing given, the container was only half full and already about half the size of normal. It was about enough to coat the 1/5 the salad with the normal amount. Considering we were here a few times within the last couple months this was quite a surprise. The bigger surprise was the pieces of black plastic in the salad. The pieces didn't match the plastic in the silverware, it was thinner so we were confused at where it could have come from... Maybe a storage container. I am rarely appalled by places but this was just one of those visits where everything that could go wrong did. If we hadn't stayed, we basically wouldn't have any complete parts of our meal except for the salad with the hard pieces of plastic in it.

I love Panera, but this location has gone down hill. Twice this week, I've received my meal with incomplete ingredients. The first time I thought it was a mistake, but the second time, I asked about why I was missing ingredients and was told that they were out. When I told them about the previous visit and missing the same ingredients, they had no answer. To me the customer should be informed that they are out of those ingredients at the time of order. To do otherwise is borderline fraud. If you are out of the ingredients, don't sell that item anymore or inform the customer ahead of time.

Great spot for quick comfort food. Soup in a big 'ol bread bowl hits the spot on a sick day. You can sit and warm up for as long as ya like and they'll never push you to leave.

I love this panera. Stopped by here as a break in running errands. The manager here is so personable. Food is good. Staff is quick. And as a plus they gave my pregnant wife some free cookies...these guys rock. Will definitely be back.

Yesterday was one of those days when I needed comfort food for lunch and the macaroni and cheese at Panera hit the spot for me. It was tangy but not too tangy and the sauce was thick and rich tasting and I really like that the shell macaroni wasn't over cooked. I would definitely order their mac and cheese again. My side was their yummy sour dough bread in a generous slice and they have real butter (an a choice of margarine) so my comfort food of a high carb lunch was complete. Since I had joined the Panera loyalty club and this was the first trip back since joining, my latte was free. I thought the latte had a rich coffee flavor and wasn't too diluted with milk. I made a mental reference to add Panera to my got to stop places for a decent latte. I appreciated that when I arrived shortly after 1:00 pm that it wasn't too busy to find a solo booth and I could sit and eat in peace, while thinking and getting some writing done. I was also able to clean up some old email files since they have free wifi.

This Panera location always seems to have lightning-fast service, and rarely gets crowded so one doesn't feel bad about taking up a table to hang out with the wifi for a while. Food is consistently fresh. I'm a sucker for the creamy soups in a bread bowl, or the everything-bagel-cream cheese for breakfast. The breakfast paninis are good too. One drawback, they don't have very many outlets to plug in your laptop or tablet or whatever... Maybe I will feel a bit guilty for hogging a table after all.

Welp, Ive been meaning to review this one for a while...... Last YEAR I went to this location, and got the greek salad, I was with a friend and was to busy talking that it took half of me eating the salad to realize my feta cheese was old and rotten. How do I know? it smelled and was in big jelly clump balls ewwwww. I know my feta and that aint right! ok so I didnt go back till 2 weeks ago thinking surely that wont happen again, so I got my greek salad (i love greek salads) and my daughter got a egg and bacon breakfast sandwich, she opened it to put tobasco on it, and I saw there were 4 to 5 dark green spots on her egg. gross, needless to say she threw it away, aaaannnddddd I will not go back to this location :(

I love Panera Bread! They have a lot of choices. I normally go for the you pick two combo meal. You can mix and match sandwiches, soups and salads. I normally get the Italian sandwich and the bake potato soup! Make sure to get the French bread as a side to dip in the soup! So good! On my way out I normally grab a cinnamon crunch bagel! They are an amazing snack/ breakfast item! I also love the environment at Panera. I take my lap top and use the free wifi. The only downer is the lunch rush! It gets really crowded. During those times I'd rather get my food to go.

This is probably my favorite Panera. I really like coming here in the winter because they have that nice little (fake) fire place that crackles and it just makes for a nice environment. It get's packed out on Saturday mornings but the staff is well prepared and takes care of all of our orders. Most other Paneras are completely out of their suffles by 10:30, but this Panera always has extras made. Plus I love their Broccoli Cheese soup and a Caramel Latte is pretty good too. They have a good wifi signal and despite the number of people that are on the WIFI their signal can handle it. Plus the layout is really good too. I keeps it real...

Every time I eat at Panera, I leave disappointed. I was excited to try a ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. But it was partially soggy, on really dense bread and just had no flavor. It's not just this Panera, I've never been impressed by any Panera. The food sounds good in theory but misses the mark.

This is one of my favorite Paneras. I think the employees are nicer, the service better and the location is good for me. Overall, yes it is about the same as the others, but I just always feel as if the lines move along much better here than Barry Road or Church Rd. in Liberty or the Shawnee Mission Parkway location down near Shawnee. I appreciate their effort to inform patrons about the calorie content of their meals. Chicken Noodle Soup is under 100 calories. AND it is DELICIOUS--what a BONUS!

Only place to get bagels in the area so I always wind up going. The bagels are actually pretty good even though they are a bit bread like. The only reason I hate them is because they always disappoint me at lunch time. I always order a $7 sandwich just to find that it is just meat on bread, with toppings on only half or sometimes a quarter of the sandwich. Great, $7 for one piece of meat on bread. But the part that they do make right just tastes so good. It is sad. The soups are usually good, especially in a bread bowl.
I always like this Panera for two main reasons: 1 - The service is always fast. I have never taken more than 10 minutes to go from in line to having my food. 2 - It usually only contains 1 or 2 people sitting in front of their Mac trying to look cool, which is several less than the average Panera I have been to (this also of course makes finding a table during busy periods easier as looking cool with a Mac takes at least 2 hours). Other than that, Panera seems to have the fancy fast food down to a science. Out of the 50 times I might have eaten here over the years, there was just one time at Oak Park where the bread was so stale, I had to finally just take middle out and eat it separately. Other than that, the food is very consistent and pretty good. If you happen to be from a non-Panera area, they just make fancy sandwiches/panini with above average quality meats and veggies on them and some soups/salads to go with them. There is a separate bakery as well, with again above average breads and bagels. This one, aside from being only a year or two old, is also very clean and well kept. If you need a fast meal that is a step up from fast food, I highly suggest it.

We usually go to Panera for lunch but decided to try their breakfast. Not bad..definitely better then some other fast breakfast alternatives. It seems like the use real eggs and the paninis are served extremely hot and right off the press. I also really enjoyed the mocha freeze. Great drink when its hot out!
