Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

No matter how long the line, you always get food fast here. I have ordered everything on the menu at some point and it is all great. The food is always fresh and the employees here are always so polite. Highly recommend this location.

I like the chicken salad with dressing and a drink (total $9.05). This location serves up a fairly good meat portion. The service is fast, and efficient. The interior is fairly clean, with music playing.

I LOVE Chipotle but I will not be coming back to this location. The place was filthy, presumably from the lunch rush. They were out fajita veggies but said they would be ready in a couple of minutes. No big deal as they could be added on the side. One of my favorite treats is their guacamole but I was bummed to see how crossed contaminated it was with cheese. I pointed this out to the employee and she looked at me as if I was being unreasonable so I didn't ask for any non contaminated guac. I'm allergic to dairy. While getting drinks I slipped and nearly fell on the wet floor around the soda machine. The final straw was when I popped a big bite of steak from my vegetarian Sofritos salad into my mouth. I don't eat meat and this was enough to make me completely lose my appetite. It was also uncomfortably hot in the dining room.

My family has been a customer of this location since this store opened. Our recent customer experience has diminished greatly. The last time we were there the line was so s.l.o.w. It took 30 minutes for them to work us from the door. If fax orders are to blame for this delay in service, then Chipotle needs to consider the impact to the walk in customer. I watched far too many people turn around and leave after seeing the line then I would be comfortable if I were the management.

Overall I still like this place I was a little disappointed in my quesarito tonight. You think that this being the most common item on their not so secret menu it would be standard. A quesadilla as the outside of the burrito. I feel as if I was scammed and only received a half of a quesidilla wrapped around the outside of the burrito meaning cheese was only on one side. Way to ruin my day Chipoltle! I wanted both sides to be equally cheesy. In all seriousness this became a very expensive burrito at $12 since they charge you for the burrito and a large quesadilla even though they only give you half of one!

This is the worst chipotle in the area. The people are rude, slow, and treat you like they have better things to do than their job. There is one woman in particular who is awful. I've never seen anyone move as slow as her, the people are always more interested in talking about their gossip than serving their customers. The only reason it's getting 2 stars is because it's chipotle and chipotle is good no matter what. We'll be going to a different location from now on. The Mission one is THE WORST.

I ordered ahead online, for a pickup well outside of their normal rush times, 3:00. I got there on time, on my already short lunch, to pick up my single burrito bowl order, and it wasn't even started. No one in the rest of the restaurant helped the person out that was making orders. Once they completed the person in lines order, they moved onto the next person in line that had just walked in, rather than my order, placed 30 minutes prior online. The Manager came out of the back, didn't even look up, as I am standing there waiting, and went right back into the back. I get home, check my order, and the bowl is half full. A really disappointing visit.

I will always love you, Chipotle. This location just isn't the best. I usually order online because the line always seems to be out the door. But even with that option, at least two different times my food was not ready at the quoted time. The last time I was there I got the last weirdness of the guac and it made me feel uncomfortable. That said, no experience here has been negative enough to stop coming and the food doesn't typically suffer.

Anyone knows that the worst times to go to Chipotle are between 11:30-1:00 and between 5:00-7:00. So, of course, when a friend and I were able to sneak out there at 2pm between movies at a marathon Avengers event at Cinemark, we were in and out in about 5 minutes. With foil-wrapped deliciousness to make our nerdy friends envious with when we got back to the movie theater. Cheers.

Got home with takeout. They didn't put salad dressing with it like they usually do. Very little chicken, too many beans. Very slow line, and very noisy. Hard to communicate with the servers because the music was so loud. Very disappointed this time. I have been a pretty regular customer until now. Always got my food to go because it was just to noisy to just relax in the restaurant section. Usually I enjoy the food.

Everyone except for the manager on duty was super nice. The manager on 3/5/14 at 9:55 PM was incredibly rude to her staff. We were waiting for someone to open the drawer to break a $100 and the she was too busy yelling at the staff to help us. The guy working the register couldn't open the drawer and kept asking her to open it as she was questioning him about who's food was in a to go bag and who made it etc. (it was one of the people that worked there food since it was 9:55 PM). The manager was rolling her eyes, moaning, and pretty much treating everyone like they were idiots. While we were there for 5 minutes she talked to 3 different employees in this same condescending way. It was unbelievable.

If I have to pick my favorite Chipotle of all the Chipotles in the Kansas City area, I'd probably go with this one. They keep the line moving and I don't feel like I am being gypped or overwhelmed by a particular item in my burrito or burrito bowl. And ... hooray for brown rice!
(4)Jen D.
This Chipotle is fast, fresh and friendly. Like other Chipotles, brown rice is now available. I love Chipotle, and this property is always clean and efficient. I can't think of anything to add that hasn't been stated. It's Chipotle, you know it's going to be delicious!

Yes, I'm one of those people. About once every week or two, I get a craving for Chipotle that cannot be ignored. Please note that the five stars are comparing this Chipotle with other Chipotles that I have visited. This location deserves all five stars. Portion sizes when getting burrito bowls are ridiculously huge anyway, but this place puts plenty of the important stuff in (i.e., veggies, meat, salsa, guacamole). I can't tell you how it saddens me to pay $1.80 for guacamole, and feel like I got gypped on the portion. Although they never give me as much as I want, they don't short you, and it is very generous compared to the other places. Also, this is a busy location. I come here at odd times, and there are always people in the dining area, sometimes people in line, but the line moves so quickly it doesn't matter. Even when the line is out the door the wait is usually no longer than 15-20 minutes. Everyone working the counter is very happy, they smile and greet you as you approach. The manager seems to always be around making sure things are going smoothly. I've never had a bad meal here, and it is the best Chipotle I've been to. If I'm craving Chipotle, this location is my top choice (and I live equidistant from about three locations).

Always a fan. I choose this chipotle over free birds!
(4)K H.
I have noticed it depends who is serving you for the amount of food you get. Overall the food is good but all the different meats are way to salty for me. I hate to gripe but this place is to noisy. It's hard to hear the servers over the loud music when ordering your food. Don't try to sit down and have a conversation because you will be yelling at each other.

I LOVE Chipotle. The whole business concept I completly admire as someone who is a vegetarian and tries to be vegan. I do not mind when others eat meat by any means, but I do wish that it was sustainably and humanely raised and slaughtered meat. It is so hard to be able to control that eating out, so I LOVE that Chipotle offers people that choice! And not just with their meat but their dairy as well! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Now if only we can get them to offer half sized portions at a discounted rate...because that is too much damn food! Takes the healthiness right out of it! As for this Chipotle in particular...it is always busy, no matter the time, but do not let a potential line dissuade you as it always moves along very quickly! The outside seating is nice as it is often too cold inside!

I absolutely love Chipotle.

Soft-shelled carnitas tacos with mild and medium salas and guac for me. Carnitas burrito bowl for the missus. Black bean and cheese quesadillas for the kids. Extra guac to slather everywhere upon our food and my altar to Avocadocoatl (the avocado god). Chips and more guac. A diet cola beverage if we're rolling like daddy phat sacks. Yum. And yum again.
(4)Michelle F.
As busy as this place can be, they sure know how to move a line! Consistently friendly staff, quality food and clean dining rooms, even during a rush. These are the reasons we keep coming back. And I LOVE that they now offer brown rice. Keep it up Chipotle!
(5)John B.
The food is the caliber to be expected from a Chipotle... Careful at lunch, as this store gets very busy. Seating is limited so plan to take it with you at lunch. Otherwise this is a good location. Clean store. Good food. Fast service.
(4)David W.
Great food, clean and the staff is always nice. I went in there one day and the register was acting up and they were trying to get it working so instead of making me wait they gave it to me free. That is what I am looking for not a place that is only worried about money but a place that cares about the customer.
(5)Colleen L.
Love love love it! The barbacoa is wonderful. The rice with the cilantro is amazing. I craze the taste of the chips with the salt and lime. I am not impressed with the steak, its always very fatty and kinda gross but otherwise everything else Ive ever ordered has been wonderful.
(5)Chris S.
This is the greatest Chipotle in the Kansas city area! The employees are well trained friendly and expeditious. If you want a great dinning experience stop in and have a burrito bowl.
(5)Aaron G.
It's always hard to write a review for a chain restaurant place. Most everything is the same and it's usually the customer service that get's judged. That being said, I find that this Chipotle is pretty good. The staff is good about giving you plenty of meat. I can't stand the Chipotle on 95th because they always want to gip you on meat. Then when I tell them to add a little more they have a heart attack and want to charge me. You don't get that with this Chipotle. I didn't even have to ask and the food was good. I will give them 5 stars here.
(5)Angela W.
Great food, very friendly staff, always a great experience. Food is same as all other Chipotle's, great pork and guacamole.
