Nothing too special about this establishment. I would recommend ordering a steak or burger if you do go, though, because everything else on the menu is sub-par. Service wasn't very stellar, either. Also, the menus were in 3 ring binders, so I found it difficult when trying to find what exactly I wanted to eat. Overall, a pretty average steakhouse.

So my family and I went in on a Sunday for lunch and based on that experience I won't return. We waited about 45 mins for fried foods (which shouldn't take that long). People that came in 20 minutes or so after us received their food before us so I brought it to the attention of our waitress. She went to check and didn't come back. So finally I went to the bar and asked to just cancel my order. I am guessing our order didn't get put in and the waitress didn't want to tell us so she just hid out in the back until it was done. Finally our order came out and she asked if we wanted to-go boxes. We decided just to stay since it was done. The food was very okay. My fried chicken was unseasoned and my mashed potatoes were instant. We paid over $5 for Kraft Mac & cheese for my toddler (which came with no sides). She gave us no kind of apology or explanation whatsoever. I've waited tables and realize that mistakes happen, but good customer service goes a long way. Apologizing and trying to make things right makes a big difference. My advice is to steer clear of Ramblers. There are MUCH better places to eat in Manhattan. This place is overpriced and underwhelming.

Just got back from Mother's Day buffet with wife and 2 kids. Worse than the sirloin stockade down the road. Bagged salad, a pile of cold spaghetti on the salad bar (?), instant potatoes, tv dinner enchiladas, tasteless gravy mix gravy, old tasting desserts, all for only $80 bucks. At least we didn't overeat! The nausea we are all feeling will hopefully subside soon. Won't ever go back even though it is only 5 min Away.

This place could totally be on one of those restaurant takeover shows. A 3-ring binder menu, dirty looking, random decor (unless they were going for a biker bar, sports bar, old west combo theme), horrible cocktail mixes, and tasteless food straight from the freezer to the fryer. And how about the side options. Fries or mashed potatoes - that's it. No vegetables, no fruit. I would have been nice and given 2 stars, but just couldn't because we waited 40 min. for our food just to have the server ask us to repeat our order because she forgot to ring it in. We appreciated the discount they gave us, but expected a visit from the manager which never happened. Will never be going here again. Too bad because it is so close to our new house :/

Wait staff was awesome but filet mignon and chicken fried steak had funny tastes as if the grease was bad. Mac and cheese was Kraft. Will not dine there again.

Food absolutely amazing and staff is nice, but the nice staff doesn't quite make up for how slow they were. 5 stars if staff was less forgetful and more responsive.

Ordered the 9 oz. Bourbon steak which was cooked the way I ordered. Atmosphere was friendly & our waitress was very accommodating.

Not exactly where I would choose to hang out, but the steak is worth the evening of tacky dinner mates. By far, the best place in town for steak. Crowded and loud, but the good food outweighs the annoyances.

Went there on a Wednesday night for the sirloin special. I got my steak medium rare and it was good size piece. The vegetable medley was a perfect match. I had a glass of the amber bock, which was a nice complement to the meal. I liked the location and the place was pretty busy for a Thursday night.
