I had the Asian tacos, in pulled pork and chicken. Very flavorful, and the meat was moist and tender. They were best eaten with a fork - it was strips of a semi-sweet bread underneath. Drinks are limited at the moment - no fountain drinks or alcohol, primarily a few types of teas or other drinks. We didn't try their desserts, which are the other half of their limited menu. I would probably give the taste and presentation four stars, and the overall value (I left hungry after spending $8 on two tacos and tap water) and limited menu about three stars. So 3.5 averaged out.

Really pretty place.. Too bad their boba (bubble tea) is disgusting. I was expecting so much more!! I'm from Cali where we have boba everywhere & I was so excited to have FINALLY found a place where there's boba and I was much disappointed!! You can't even chew the little balls ): it's like they were cooked so wrong!!! So sad

After seeing the pictures and reading the reviews, I was really excited to eat here. I walked back and forth trying to find it. When I finally did, the lights were all off and the staff was locking up for the night--an hour before their stated closing time. Bad form! Looks like I'll try out Thai Noodle instead.

The menu was limited for our first visit, but the food we had was really good. My biggest problem is portion size for the price. $20 for 2 tacos and a small rice bowl was a little much for the small portion size. I will probably try it again someday in hopes of having something else, pending it's available.

This is a cozy little restaurant. We went for lunch and a guy was in there playing piano. The staff and owner were really pleasant. We ordered 2 lunch combos - one with a chicken slider and one with a chicken Asian taco. It came with cold noodles and a delicious peanut sauce. We also got a green bubble tea. The food is delicious and very fresh and light. The tea was amazing. My only complaint is portion size. The slider and taco only had 2 tiny pieces of shredded chicken (and I do mean tiny) on it so you basically get bread and noodles. I am a carb fan, but missed the protein with my meal. I don't usually eat huge portions at lunch, but this was so small I was still a bit hungry afterward. For $9/combo I would have liked a bit more. I will be back, but it won't be a regular stop for me.

Great food, reasonable prices, and one of Manhattan's only LGBT friendly hang-outs. Grace is a fantastic conversationalist and so much fun, as is the rest of the staff. As I found out, a lot of the snacks and pastries are cooked by other local chefs in the community and brought in by Grace, giving the experience all the more benefit. Truly a place you'll want to check out!

Just tried the cold Soba noodles and man were those tasty! The dipping sauce is a perfect compliment to the noodles and scallions. I had mine with pork, but I think it would be equally great with chicken or just alone. I love eating here because it makes me feel so healthy, which is a rarity eating anywhere else!

This is an odd place. The food is excellent, but the way the place is marketed is very confusing. The windows boast all kinds of desserts, which is far from what you would expect from an Asian fusion place. The menu consists of only a very few items that you have to read from a small chalkboard at the counter. However, those menu items are delicious. If Grace's projected a clearer identity, it could attract a lot more customers and be a great café!

I an so happy to have a place like this in Manhattan. It reminds me of House of Cha in Lawrence, but better. Most people probably won't think of it like this, but to me it's a tea house. There are many dishes to accompany the tea: savories and desserts. The quality of the teas here is very high, I got 5 steaps out of my pot. The tea is self serve, which is so innovative and convenient. I also liked picking out what color teapot I wanted. The lunch special is such a good deal and delicious. Try the desserts. The pillow top cake is so good, steamed pound cake with strawberries. Service was prompt and friendly. It's a pleasure to hang out for a couple hours drinking tea, chatting, and eating good food.

It's not super fair to write a review in the first month or three of a business being open, but, oh well life isn't fair. A little awkward, but I suspect as they are open longer things will streamline at the front counter. The menu is not intuitive and you have to wait until you are at the register to get the low down. This increases wait time. **Let me make something very clear- while "fusion" is not a word I would use to describe the food- the food was delicious**. Portions were small like the above reviewer noted, but not necessarily a bad thing with the current obesity epidemic. I would be willing to consult Grace for a small fee to help her increase efficiency and help with the vibe which suffers.

We ordered the chicken dumpling platter and pork tacos. To start my wife's tacos were bland to say then least, no flavor and the pork was dry. Now onto the dumplings... It came with 5 and when I cut them in half the chicken was RAW!!!! YUCK!!!! The cook looked like he didn't care and was moving about slowly to fix the order. They ask you to pay and tip before you get your food which should have been a red flag to start!! Save your time and get a smash burger, more flavor and cheaper. On the up side the fruit icee with banana, strawberry, blueberry, and pineapple was very good. NEVER AGAIN!!!
